World Facing "Worst Financial Crisis In History"

There is a point to posting these links - but to the news first:

World facing worst financial crisis in history, Bank of England Governor says

The world is facing the worst financial crisis since at least the 1930s “if not ever”, the Governor of the Bank of England said last night.

Sir Mervyn King was speaking after the decision by the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee to put £75billion of newly created money into the economy in a desperate effort to stave off a new credit crisis and a UK recession.

“This is the most serious financial crisis we’ve seen, at least since the 1930s, if not ever. We’re having to deal with very unusual circumstances, but to act calmly to this and to do the right thing.”

To make matters worse, at least in the U.S., we have this added problem:

"Economic Terrorist" wants "New Financial Crisis" now

Stephen Lerner, a controversial anti-capitalist SEIU organizer, is one of the forces behind the protests on Wall Street and nationwide, according to quotes obtained by a socialist activist who doubles as a Washington Post columnist.

Lerner was the brain behind some of the economic protest templates being used by the Occupy Wall Street campaign.

Lerner recently laid out a mass economic protest plan intended to bring down the stock market, and boasted his plan could be used to cause a new financial crisis. His ideology prompted some conservative critics to go so far as to label him an economic terrorist.

His stated aim was to "destabilize the folks that are in power and start to rebuild a movement."

In an interview about the Wall Street protests, Lerner outlined his goals: "How do we bring down the stock market? How do we bring down their bonuses? How do we interfere with their ability to, to be rich?"

Lerner continued, "There are actually extraordinary things we could do right now to start to destabilize the folks that are in power and start to rebuild a movement."

During the presentation, Lerner called for a mass strike by mortgage payers that, he said, could cause a new financial crisis.

IMF Advisor: Global Financial Meltdown in 2 to 3 Weeks

In an interview with IMF advisor Robert Shapiro, the bailout expert has pretty much said what, once again, is on everyone’s mind: “If they can not address [the financial crisis] in a credible way I believe within perhaps 2 to 3 weeks we will have a meltdown in sovereign debt which will produce a meltdown across the European banking system.

We are not just talking about a relatively small Belgian bank, we are talking about the largest banks in the world, the largest banks in Germany, the largest banks in France, that will spread to the United Kingdom, it will spread everywhere because the global financial system is so interconnected.

All those banks are counterparties to every significant bank in the United States, and in Britain, and in Japan, and around the world. This would be a crisis that would be in my view more serious than the crisis in 2008….

Also:

"In The Absence Of A Credible Plan We Will Have A Global Financial Meltdown In Two To Three Weeks" - IMF Advisor

The world is teetering dangerously close to a complete financial breakdown. One that, according to many analysts is unprecedented.

What does this mean?

It seems that the world is inching closer and closer to accepting a world leader who would appear to have solutions to these problems. Currently, there seems to be no way out of this mess, as the solutions offered present only more of the same.

Meanwhile, we see the Middle East inching closer and closer to the final battles, as foretold by biblical prophecy. Syria is threatening Israel and has a leader who is desperate to cling to power - a leader who needs a diversion and who is now threatening Israel. The United States is seeing a rapid decline from power. Persecution continues its ominous rise. The nations continue to isolate Israel and offer less and less resistance to the radical Islamic groups sworn to her destruction. Earthquakes continue their rise in numbers and in magnitude. And on and on it goes.

Prophetic birth pains are occurring more rapidly and more intensely than ever before, as we approach the last days of this generation.

And the world needs a such leader. The world will accept a such leader.

Only this leader will become the most brutal, horrible dictator the world has ever seen.

The time is almost here. If you are someone who has followed prophecy you not only see it daily in the news, you can also feel it.

We can be grateful for the promises given by Christ Jesus, as we were told to have hope and encouragement in these days - knowing what awaits us.

We are reaching a fork in the road, as we now see two distinctly different paths taken by mankind (emphasis mine):

"...for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman and they will not escape"

Note that the apostle Paul is already drawing a difference in two groups of people:

1. Those Christians to whom he is preaching - those who have an understanding of the day of the Lord as contrasted with
2. "Them" - those who will experience the sudden destruction - and "They" will not escape.

"But you brothers are not in darkness, so this day should surprise you like a thief. You are sons of light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.

(1 Thessalonians 5:2-6)

Then we get to the most important part - the conclusion:

"But since we belong to the day...For God did not appoint us to suffer this wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ."

(1 Thessalonians 5:9)

So we see the two parallel groups in these last days.

One group ("they" and "them") is living in darkness (without salvation through Christ Jesus) and therefore will not escape the coming day of the Lord, also known as the Tribulation.

The other group ("we") are living in the light and belong to the day - via salvation - and therefore are not destined to suffer this coming day of the Lord ("wrath") but through Christ - will escape this coming Tribulation.

And from every sign that we observe around us - signs that we were told would come in waves, like birth pains - we know with great certainty that our mission on the earth as the Church is coming to a close.

Paradise awaits us.

New Jerusalem awaits us.

And more importantly - Jesus awaits us.

"Amen. Come, Lord Jesus"

I'm beginning to think that it's quite possible that the ME war, the worldwide economic collapse and the rapture may occur simultaneously. In the meantime anti- semitic threats are growing among the protestors and remember these folks have ties with Soros and Obama. And I learned today that PressTV, a direct mouthpiece for the Iranian Republican Guard, is broadcasting their radio program from Washington, DC.

Wow...I just got home from an amazing Jeremy Camp concert and I come here first to read an amazing update from our dear brother. Wonderfully pulled together Scott!

I think you are correct gearedup. Nice conclusion...I hope you are right and I think it may very well all come together just as you described!

If so I'll add my Amen! Lord pour out your spirit in our churches over these next few weeks and save many.

For those interested here is the root of the problem with "Sovereign Debt"...
Financial institutions, Banks, insurance companies, etc. list assets on the balance sheet at ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE. When you look at your IRA or 401k, you look at the MARKET PRICE. When banks or or institutions are forced to sell an asset to meet a financial obligation, the truth comes out. The Greek Bond they paid $100 for 5 years ago may only be worth $20. Therefore they have to sell $500 worth of assets to net $100.

The bubble breaks when financial institutions have to sell a lot of their assets and it becomes evident that their assets are worth less than they have been telling themselves and their investors.

The system is very fragil now and no one wants to admit the true value of their assets. When they do have to come clean, the economy crashes.

Pray.

I, for one, don't care about Harold Camping's prophecies (Oct 21). Some people think the "Gathering up" could take place on Yom Kippur, for many reasons, using Bibically based arguments. If it happens in October, I don't think anyone will give a second thought to Camping! Maranatha! Diane

I just read on what does it mean.com that America is planning a massive military invasion of the middle east and central Asia. Something about protecting the Dollar. Vladimir Putin told his generals to "prepare for armageddon". Apparently Pakistan and India have thousands of Chinese troops poised in the region ready for war.

At the worst low point I have ever known in my 66 years with Jesus; your defiant anarchy is pushing me further into the morass of depression and I can take no more of it.

While I shall continue to be encouraged by Scott’s work; I shall have to cease reading the valuable comments of others to avoid being hijacked and robbed by the wolf you are controlled by. Indeed, it is so confident that it took off its innocence fleece long ago.

While others are strong enough to largely ignore you; I have to now concentrate on getting well and go where I can be built up instead.

Dear Sue~

I am sorry to hear you are going through much these days. FWIW, Please, and I say this only in a spirit of love, please let this situation go with Stephen, it will unfold the way it's supposed too :)

God knows how many times you and many of us have stepped up to the plate to try to show our brother the error of his ways on his thinking. I recently had to step back and re-think my behavior to a brother who is not following what I may deem is right in the eyes of God. I feel with all the correction on this topic that has taken place, the Lord can't condemn us for just sitting idly by.

If we are to be great witnesses in these last days; what is going to happen when other newbie's come and see if they don't have a chance to grow and learn, will we just walk away or will we have the patience needed to help them or move on and let God's next servant help that person? Sometimes we may not be gifted through a whole season to work and help that same person. God will send someone else, his way, and in his timing.

I am in no way taking sides, so please do not lash out at me, OK? Just want to make sure this is not taken wrong. I am praying as I write this that it is taken in the loving spirit it is given. I don't desire to spend my last days in any battle of wits with anyone. I choose other things. I believe Stephen's capacity at his level of believing is at his highest point. In other words, I believe, he believes because he sees the words that way, he too is firmly planting his feet on God's word and though we know taken out of context, he believes what he sees. If he is saying he must stay true to his God we must let him learn along the way. If we can't help this one, how will we help the many?

I understand you're tired and rightly so and truly it's OK. These days much is wearing us all down. I plan on helping you both in love. Stephen's choices are the ones he will face with God and God alone. The same way God instructs us that Vengeance is his, it challenges us to let that go many times over with others in our lives.

It may not be fair, it may not be right, but what is right is pure love at its finest. We have to believe in God more than someone else's choices. If we give up on Stephen or anyone else, they too will flee and I am more concerned about their falling away instead of needing to be right. That is my thinking. Not saying anything about yours.

All Scott has to do is simply (only if it is that critical, since this has been stated many times) is put up a disclaimer at the front of his site. Then anyone coming will know that other views are not necessarily those of this site.

Get much rest. Recharge that lovely spirit and all will be well. I don't want to see the evil one use a situation like this to divide. We are in the last leg of our journey and as I always have said we must do our part to love every step of the way. Believe me, I have had to fight myself too and when I look back I thank God that I just let it go into his precious hands. It's OK for us to not have to respond to every post if that is what we must do. You have witnessed much in these last days and seeing from your recent post; which I am praying for you Dear Sis in Christ, all will work out for God's glory. We are all human and it's what we do with each day, each hour that matters. He knows we all fall short of the glory of God.

God Bless!!

GG, you have responded beautifully with your heart's cry for EI's and Stephen's welfare. Thank you.

EI, perhaps taking some time to reflect upon God's abundance as you work in your garden will help soothe your weary soul. You have been battling heat and your body is being assaulted physically and emotionally. Please know that we stand with you prayerfully as you journey on your lonely path of human frailty. One day very soon we will finally break these chains of sin and be in the most beautiful, perfect and loving fellowship imaginable and the enemy will be no more. Until then, the Holy Spirit stands ready to comfort you.

Sue:

Just hold on a minute. Have you forgotten Who holds you, loves you and is able to see you through.

Stephen has allowed himself to be a victim of replacement theology. As upset as I get with him sometimes I have to keep what we are doing here in perspective. So should you.

Your faith is being tested and you must stand up. You are allowing, and I mean this lovingly, your emotions to dictate your actions.

Christ, and I know you love Him with all your heart, wants you, me and everyone else not to get distracted by the devils folly.

Look around Stephen and see the Kingdom that is built upon Christ, not the path. If we look down we forget where we are going. Looking up we don't see the difficulty of the road because Christ is lighting our way.

I understand how frustrating it is to deal with Stephen. I know he has been causing dissent here. Imagine though if Christ were to have given up. Our blessed hope that the Kingdom is built would be nothing.

It is not easy living by the principles that Christ set. No one knows that more than me but at every instance before we speak we have to literally dig as deep as we can in Christ and follow Him in everything.

Christ at His essence is truth and love. While we honor Him by talking in truth to Stephen we are also at the same time to realize that we are to love Stephen as much as we stand up for the truth in Christ. This doesn't mean we are to be a door mat for anyone.

How can we love deeply if we can't see the truth. I really don't know what you are going through but surely you can see that you mean a lot to us here.

By walking away you give the devil the victory. He's a coward, a pedophile, a murderer and a liar and deserves nothing.

When Jesus was in the garden and he asked that if it was possible to pass this cup or to do it a different way, He wasn't afraid. He knew that in that cup was satan himself and it repesented every ungodly thing on this earth past present and future. Again He wasn't afraid of what was to come He would have gladly and willingly died a thousand horrible deaths for God.

The thing He didn't want was to be separated from God for one second much less the time He had to spend on the cross to cover us in His blood.

You see Christ from His existence in Heaven had never been out of oneness with God. That cup was going to cause him to experience the one thing He dreaded the most, being separated from God!

Then He said Your will be done, not mine. It was is and always shall be the single greatest declaration of love ever made to God. Simply put it was perfect in every way.

What I'm trying to get you to realize is what we have in Christ. Nothing and I mean nothing will ever prevail against that. When it comes to Stephen remember that.

Love you Sis!

Dear SUe ,
We LOVE you. Don't go. I am joining my prayers with others for you here.
YOu feel overwhelmed but we know that in truth you are not.
Remember the wheat and tares.
I asked Stephen about Christ some week or more ago and he answered of course to His Lordship.
The real wolf is using his wiles through Stephen to get to you but
the fruit of the Spirit will overcome.
One of my favorite pictures of the blessings in Rev. to the churches
is where the Lord promises a white stone with a name on it that no one knows save he who receives it.This is promised to the overcomer. John tell us in his little letters that it is our faith that has overcome.
Be of good cheer ( by faith)
He ( Christ) has overcome the world.
ahead of you lies the most personal and beautiful relationship ever. You are being tested. Not tempted.
May your faith ( so precious to all of us here) come through with shouts of hALLELUJAH!!
iN hIS LOVE,

Stephen simply cannot be "unaware", after all this time and especially after having some of his posts deleted recently, of what he is doing, and that he is a constant source of unchristian contention.

He has been asked repeatedly to argue his case openly & carefully, and he has blatantly ignored all of us, including Scott, and instead, continues with the 'hit & run' posts "still looking for the A/C" error.

And now, causing others to want to leave the fellowship!

It seems he has choices: Either argue the case with reasons, or muzzle it, or leave.

Gearedup, thanks for asking...Dad's leg has had no reduction in the swelling & and it is still red and warm...if they continue the IV antibiotics I am hoping that they put in a pic line and let me do it at home where he would be much more comfortable. Please keep praying...I have not seen the doctor in two days as I have to pretty much visit when I can and keep missing them and mom and dad are easily confused and can't usually remember what they say after the visit. sigh...

I was encouraged that he had apologized for something last week.
Perhaps this separation will cause
a healthy caring for the rest of the body. Everyone wanted him to participate in a way that really
strengthened our faith. Instead he was allowing himself to be used for destroying fellowship.

Yes gearedup good suggestion... my wife left our cell number and asked that very thing...right now my brother is out of town on a mini vacation and everything fell on me this week...appreciate the prayers...my dad is not exactly himself as he has aged considerably in the last 2-3 years. He is and has been a very godly man and well respected for his wisdom in our church for years. It is painful to see him decline like this. Just hoping to "beat" this infection and get him back home soon.

Dear Sue: Jeremiah also was very depressed; and all the negative comments caused him to consider giving up. In Jeremiah 15:19-21 God said to him: Stop this foolish talk. You are supposed to influence them, not let them influence you. For I will rescue you from their hands. So please keep on being a positive influence om others, and not let Stephen influence you. Just hold on to the truth; and it will set you free. with love, Dutch.

Thats a good point Waterer. at some point it just becomes ridiculous. I don't understand the need for a constant and unremitting mantra, I really don't. Its nothing personal by any means - but I respect the majority here way too much to let it continue and probably let it go way too long.

Hi all,
If I may interject something about Stephen. I believe he is getting what he wants; a lot of attention. Many of the posts lately have been about him, maybe he thrives on the attention...and I'm adding to it by writing this.

Personally, if I had a different belief than the site to which I posted, I would be going elsewhere to where they have the same belief. So it just makes me think he is here for the attention.

Just a thought. :-)
Blessings,

Sue-you are awesome and precious! Don't ever give up and try not to get too down. God's word is true and he is on the way to get us as I type!
I'm always rather surprised how seriously we take ourselves around here. We all have the right to different beliefs or interpretations of the Bible and I doubt we all agree on all doctrine.
For whatever reason, Stephen refuses to follow us on pretrib and he is looking for signs involving money and he is searching for the ac as the signs of the times quicken. I doubt he has steered anyone wrong on this site with doctorinal errors, his obsession with Wall Street and his perhaps a chance glimpse of the ac.
I find Stephen endearing despite his "stuck" fascinations. I believe he ernestly is looking for Jesus and he has his quirks in searching, but he is never the less continuing the search in his own way.
I am terribly bummed that people on here, who are mighty Christians, are somehow brought low by the constant desire to correct Stephen.
I am actually somewhat waiting for the day when I hop on this site and Stephen has figured out who a.c. really might be! I realize most of you believe that we won't know. But I'm not so sure about that. I think the wise will have a very good idea of who it is before we leave! Of course I could be totally wrong. Oh us frail little humans!
Anyway, I love Stephen because I just do! And God commanded us all to do the same wether we agree with the doctrine or not. I think when we meet Stephen one day we will all understand what the dilly is.
We are to bee known by how we love one another! If Stephen is this hard...imagine how hard it is going to be to love our enemies. EEK
So just so we all know...Jesus loves every one of you and so do I!
With any luck we will be meeting face to face very soon! Maranatha!

I share the same feelings towards our brother. Wholeheartedly. This has nothing to do with loving or not loving our brother - that isn't the issue at all.

We are told biblically to correct false teachings - something that many good folks have taken considerable time and effort to do, and these efforts are completely ignored.

I have pleaded with S on many many occasions to engage in an active, scripture based dialog on the issue, mainly to diminish the frustrations at the "hit and run" style that S has employed.

S has every right to come on here and engage in an adult manner - no problem whatsover.

However the same, identical post over and over and over and over and over - literally, hundreds of times over many months has grown tiresome. And again, I have repeatedly requested that he follow-up and engage folks who have attempted to correct his misinterpretations and I have repeatedly requested that he stop the 'hit and run' posts.

Such pleas have been ignored.

We're all about open debate here, and I believe open debate on the issues sharpens our witness and makes us more effective at witnessing.

However, I also have to consider the majority of people here and not the "one".

Again, this has absolutely nothing to do with love of our brother.

And he is welcome to come on here and post whatever - excepting the same mantra. And with that, even the "mantra" would be ok, if a serious engagement of the scriptures could take place.

But that still hasn't happened.

All I plan on doing is deleting the 'hit and run' mantra. Thats all. Anything else is wholeheartedly welcome.

To me, that seems a reasonable approach at this point.
