Senator Rand Paul appeared on Fox and Friends Friday morning, August 28. He was quite upset at what he had experienced the night before.
He told about the terror he, his wife, and two female friends had experienced upon leaving the White House grounds. They had been there to hear President Trump give his acceptance speech and to be part of other festivities wrapping up the 2020 Republican Party Convention.
Paul said that there was a mob of probably thirty protesters gathered outside the White House grounds. The Secret Service advised that they take a bus to get around the protesters and approach, from another side, their hotel that was several blocks away.
They took the advice, and when they got off the bus, there was another group of protesters. Paul thought about not risking getting near them, but said he made the decision to walk the couple of blocks to the hotel rather than solicit a ride to avoid the protesters.
It was a decision he said he very much regretted.
The crowd saw him, recognized him, and immediately came toward him and the women with him. The protesters were screaming obscenities and threats, including threats to kill them all. They screamed for Paul to bow to their demands to say the name of someone for whom they were supposedly rioting.
The DC police got between Paul’s group and the mob, which had now grown to three times its initial size and was now pushing and shoving forward, trying to push aside law enforcement. The senator reported that the number of officers was grossly fewer than the number needed to handle the now probably 120 rioters that had turned violent.
Senator Paul said he genuinely feared for their lives, and that if the brave police officers, few though they were, hadn’t put themselves in harm’s way, he was convinced he and his party would have been seriously injured or even killed.
The story relayed by Senator Paul is but one of hundreds, some even more egregious. Such lawlessness is now being experienced in larger cities across the nation. Even smaller cities and communities have had spillover incidents.
We hear of such reports daily and nightly in the hourly news cycles. The rebellious thuggery has proliferated over the past months and shows every indication that things will get much worse. Signs of rebellion, of lawlessness, are continuing to spread.
These times of lawlessness, of course, have not gone without notice by God, who knows the end from the beginning. This was predicted by Jesus Himself for this end-of-the-age moment in human history: “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12).
Paul the apostle told of the rebellion that I’m convinced this generation is experiencing at this very moment:
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a [rebellion] first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
Early manuscripts indicate the word apostasia as having several meanings, according to some scholars. It can mean the falling away, in terms of departing from the faith. It can mean a spatial removal or departing. And, it can mean a rebellion against God. I believe it involves all three meanings in the present supernatural movement we’re experiencing toward the Second Coming of Christ.
Our book to be released sometime in late September, LAWLESS: The End Times War Against the Spirit of Antichrist, has many top prophecy writers, broadcasters, and speakers presenting tremendously relevant chapters on these issues and events involving the lawlessness of these end times. We will announce more about this book in the near future.
We are, without doubt to this observer, witnessing stage-setting for the coming to power of the chief lawless one’s—Satan’s—son of perdition.
[As a quick note, I personally believe that the 3rd temple will sit beside the Dome of the Rock, for a variety of reasons, including the fact that we know the outer court won't be present and Ezekiel 43's reference to the previous temple, with the 3rd temple having been next to "their threshold' with 'only a wall between me an them'. Asher Kaufman's work has also been interesting in this regard. ]
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights war monitor said that a further three foreign fighters were killed and the attack had targeted sites where the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah has bases. It put the total number of wounded at 10.
The Syrian news agency reported on Monday evening that that the country’s air defense systems had been activated against hostile targets on the outskirts of Damascus. According to the report, some of the missiles that were fired were intercepted.
Syrian media attributed the attack to Israel and said two soldiers were killed and seven others were injured.
Several weeks ago, IDF fighter jets and combat helicopters attacked Syrian army targets in southern Syria.
The air strike was in retaliation for an attempt to place explosives along the Syrian border which was thwarted in the southern Golan Heights on Sunday night.
The targets attacked include observation posts and means of gathering intelligence, antiaircraft cannons and command and control centers at Syrian army bases.
The COVID-19 pandemic sure looks like it’s long past it’s peak — and might be over, at least according to a new chart from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Take a look at the chart above, titled “Provisional Death Count For Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).”
The peak appears to be around the weeks of April 18 and April 25, with a steady decline until the beginning of July. The virus spiked throughout the month, but then began to slide again in August. For all age groups except 75 years old and above, the weekly deaths dropped well before 1,000 by mid-month, and are all near zero now.
Take a look for yourself at the CDC site.
A new reported out by the CDC reveals that 94% of the COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. including other “health conditions and contributing causes.”
“According to the report, only 6% of deaths have COVID-19 as the only cause mentioned, revealing that 94% of patients who died from coronavirus also had other health conditions and contributing causes,” CBS-42 reported.
The CDC listed the following as the top underlying medical conditions linked to coronavirus deaths:Influenza and pneumonia
Vascular and unspecified dementia
Intentional and unintentional injury, poisoning and other adverse events
Other medical conditionsThe CDC explains that their data uses provisional death counts to “deliver the most complete and accurate picture of lives lost to COVID-19.”These numbers are based on death certificates, which the organization says are the most reliable source of data. Death certificates reportedly contain information that is not available anywhere else and includes comorbid conditions, race and ethnicity and place of death. The CDC says provisional death counts may not match counts from other sources, such as numbers from county health departments, because death certificates take time to be completed, states report at different rates, it takes officials extra time to code COVID-19 deaths, and because other reporting systems use different definitions or methods for counting deaths.
On August 12th Los Angeles County filed charges prohibiting Grace Community Church from holding religious services. But a local judge decided in favor of Grace Community Church to allow religious service if congregants wore face coverings and practiced social distancing.
Pastor John MacArthur said at the time that the church was meeting indoors because it was their constitutional right and that it was commanded by God for his people to come together in worship.
Factories, pot shops, liquor stores and department stores are allowed to stay open but not houses of worship.
County officials were outraged at the judge’s decision this week telling the LA Times, “It is deeply disappointing that the Court decided not to grant the County’s request for a temporary restraining order prohibiting Grace Community Church from holding indoor services. We look forward to a favorable ruling when a full hearing is heard on the matter.”
County officials did not sit back after losing last week’s ruling.
On Sunday Los Angeles County sent a letter of eviction to Grace Community Church from a county owned parking lot. They informed the church they can no longer use the parking lot they have used for over four decades.
Los Angeles officials gave church officials 30 days to evacuate the premises.
The county broke their agreement that was in affect since for 45 years.
Constitutional Law Attorney Jenna Ellis, Special Counsel to Thomas More Society, released this statement on the eviction notice.
This is government tyranny.
“Los Angeles County is retaliating against Grace Community Church for simply exercising their constitutionally protected right to hold church and challenging an unreasonable, unlawful health order. In America, we have a judicial system to ensure that the executive branch does not abuse its power, and Grace Community Church has every right to be heard without fear of reprisal. The Democrats’ message to Americans is clear–if you do not bow to every whim of tyranny, the government will come after you. The Church has peacefully held this lease for 45 years and the only reason the County is attempting eviction is because John MacArthur stood up to their unconstitutional power grab. This is harassment, abusive, and unconscionable.”
As Attorney Ellis said, this is nothing more than harassment and abuse!
Here is the full eviction notice plus the contracts with the church that date back to 2001.
