In the news:

Here he is again, predicting the demise of America and Israel:

Ahmadinejad predicts US demise, Israel's disappearance

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared on Friday that the "war on hegemony" was approaching its end, predicting the imminent collapse and subsequent disappearance of the United States and Israel, Iranian Press TV reported.

Ahmadinejad declared that hegemony is the "last impediment to the monotheism front," and that with its demise the "monotheistic movement" would achieve lasting "prosperity." He explained that the predominant goal of the "war on hegemony" is to deal with "US domination and Israel's existence."

"I am certain that the region will soon witness the collapse of Israel and the US," DPA reported.

Ahmadinejad has for half a decade been calling for the removal of what he often calls the "Zionist entity" from the Middle East, rhetoric also used by Hezbollah and Hamas of whom Iran supports in their attacks against Israelis.

'No calm in Mideast as long as Israel exists'

"So all the people of the region shall move towards the disappearance of American domination in the region and the disappearance of the Zionist regime," Ahmadinejad said in the speech, which was broadcast live on state radio.

"As long as the Zionist regime exists, if only on a small piece of land in Palestine, the region will not see tranquility" he said to a crowd gathered at the mausoleum of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini on the eve of the 22nd anniversary of the revolutionary leader's death.

"Palestine will return to the arms of Islam, without any doubt," he added.

At the same time, we see this new push by France to have 'peace talks'.

Abbas cautiously accepts French peace-conference proposal

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday cautiously welcomed a French proposal to convene Israeli and Palestinian negotiators in Paris to try to renew collapsed peace talks.

French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe this week offered to host talks to discuss ideas for a Palestinian state raised last month by US President Barack Obama, aiming to avert a showdown at the United Nations in September.

Note the key phrase in this article:

Abbas said the French plan "talks about President Obama's vision ...in which he spoke about a [Palestinian] state with the '67 borders with borders with Israel, Egypt and Jordan."

It all revolves around the '67 borders, which is shorthand for Jerusalem going back into the hands of terrorists. Not to mention the Temple Mount. We can never lose sight of that important fact. Jerusalem is the grand prize in all of this.

The plan:

The French proposal calls for Israeli and Palestinian negotiators to meet this month or by early July with an eye to reviving talks which broke off last year in a dispute on Jewish settlement building in land Palestinians seek for a state.

"We are convinced that if nothing happens here between now and September the situation will be very difficult for everyone at the time of the United Nations General Assembly," Juppe said during his visit this week.

"We have to avoid such a situation and the only way to avoid it is to do what we are proposing, that's to say return to the (negotiating) table," Juppe said.

The situation approaching by September keeps looming large. This should be an interesting summer, cumulating in whatever happens in September.

Abbas welcomes French bid to revive peace talks with Israel

"We said that in principle that this initiative is acceptable," Abbas told Reuters, two days after his talks with Juppe in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Abbas said the French plan "talks about President Obama's vision ...in which he spoke about a (Palestinian) state with the '67 borders with borders with Israel, Egypt and Jordan."

And as seen in this last article, "its that time again":

Bilderberg 2011: All aboard the Bilderbus

The funny thing is - I can recall decades ago, being told by the MSM that any discussions about the Bilderberg Group and their annual meetings, etc., was a "conspiracy theory". Now it is accepted that the group not only exists, but is highly influential in world affairs. Is it really that big of a step to consider that this group is ultimately behind the genesis of a world-government and a world financial system?

Next week, in Switzerland, Henry Kissinger and his brave band of corporate CEOs, high-wealth individuals and heavyweight thinktankers will lock arms with Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and David Rockefeller, and stand their ground against the economic contagion.

The last thing a bunch of bank bosses and multinational executives wants is for the nation-states of Europe to collapse, allowing their assets to be bought up on the cheap. Right?

Besides, if anyone can lay claim to fathering the EU, it's Bilderberg. Sixty years ago, Europe was a mere Bilderbaby, conceived in a solemn ceremony on Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands' mattress. It grew into a fine young Bilderboy, but the years have caught up with it, and now it seems its knees are creaking and its heart is weak.

Details on the upcoming meeting:

Perhaps the clear mountain air of St Moritz will prove just the tonic. The Bilderberg Group is gathering there between 9-12 June, at the Hotel Suvretta House, described on its website thus: "Like a beautiful fairytale castle, our hotel is embedded in the fantastic alpine landscape of the Upper Engadine." No mention of the magical rooftop snipers or the fairytale ring of armed riot police, but maybe they'll be updating their website in time for the conference.

It's a shame the attendees are still so phobic of attention, seeing as how this year there's shaping up to be more press interest than ever. People and the media have finally started noticing this quiet little conference at the centre of the storm. The last two countries to play host to the meeting were Greece and Spain, both of whom waved goodbye to Bilderberg and said hello to austerity and unrest. Happy Christmas, Switzerland.

Maybe this year they'll hold a press conference like, I don't know, grown-ups might. I won't be holding my breath.

Another question comes to mind. With such small, influential groups, including the Bilderbergs, the CFR and the Trilateral Commission, and their enormous influence over world events, is is really a stretch that the antichrist could emerge from these small groups?

Just think about the logistics of the rise of the antichrist. He, like all politicians, must have a strong backing of rich and influential people. Admittedly, it is total speculation, but the antichrist's supporters could be a covert group that comes together in the last days before his rise.

However, based upon what we know now, consider the following ideas:

- If a world financial system, and in turn, a world governance - is desired by these powerful groups (and we know this to be true, based on numerous, public quotes), then such governance will require a leader.

- Obviously these groups of extremely rich, powerful people know this and obviously they are already planning for such a leader to emerge.

I have always found it interesting that this exact scenario was described in Tim Lahaye's "Left Behind" series. This is not to say that his books should serve as a template for biblical prophecy, however this series was based upon a highly literal view of prophecy, one that has been hauntingly accurate to great detail (just something that I have found interesting).

The world is in disarray. No one seems to have the answers or the solutions. We see the crisis with the Euro. We see world-wide riots taking place, with the Middle East and Europe leading the way - Syria, Egypt, Yemen, Jordan, Greece, Spain, Scotland, France, Libya, much of northern Africa and we see the coming economic bombshell ready to explode over America.

I believe the world is ripe for a leader to emerge - a leader who appears to have all of the solutions to these problems.

The stage is completely set and an unknowing world is waiting to accept him with open arms.

Meanwhile, Jesus is waiting to accept His Church with open arms. As soon as the Father determines that the time is right.

It's pretty obvious that the world is lining up against Israel. If Ahmadinejad wasn't clear enough, the creation of a Palestinian state would mean a war on Israel and a chance for the Islamic nations to invade Israel. But we know that God will protect Israel.

Maybe I'm ignorant, but im still kinda shocked that the Vatican would betray Israel.

Thanks so much - your kind thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Everybody in my family is saved, fortunately. Dad has been in a lot of pain over the last couple of years, ever since having a bad fall. He is in a MUCH better place right now, and I am actually happy for him. He is out of pain and in paradise - with Jesus. Its all good. And I firmly believe that we will be reunited very soon.

But thanks again so much - it means a ton :) :)

God Bless

Scott

No, Dylan, you're not ignorant at all! Most Catholics don't know the Pope's stance w/respect to Israel.

Speaking of the Pope...

It's shocking to me that the Pope even meets w/Abbas. How can anyone not see his terrorist ties??? It's revolting!

Notice the words "peace and security" in the following article:

http://www.jpost.com/International/Article.aspx?id=223517

Excerpt:

"Vatican calls for independent Palestinian state 'soon'

Pope Benedict XVI meets PA President Abbas at Vatican, says its urgent that Palestinian state, Israel "live in security, at peace with neighbors.""

Dylan - I can't take a day off - my Dad would yell at me if I did that :)

Alice - I completely agree

Thanks Caver :)

Dylan, pkease go to Jerusalem Post and read an article about the meeting the Pope called to examine the plight of the Christians in the Middle East last October. Then you will fully understand. They made many statements the first being that the Jews are no longer the Chosen People, the bible does not give them the right to return to land, and that they oppress the Palestians with the bible. You will read the rest of the shocking statements This is called Replacement Theology which is untrue because God does not break His covenants with His people.

Hi Scott~

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. I am glad he is not suffering anymore. I am very happy to hear all of your family is saved. What a wonderful feeling to know you all will be together in Heaven :) I pray for comfort for you and your family until you are re-united again.

May everyone else have a blessed weekend. I am simply in awe of all the events happening. I can't wait to meet you all someday very soon.

With regard to the Pope, it seems to make sense. I can recall somewhere in some teachings that I thought I heard we should watch for someone to 'fall' and it would have something to do with their something on their head. It's been so long, but I wouldn't be surprised if something surfaces along this line either. Being rasied Catholic and my husband too, we have started to recall that everyone is so busy with the traditional roles and habits of mass, that one can't really recall if they even mention to pray in the name of Jesus. It seems like many ways around going through him. I know plenty of kind and caring Catholics, but honestly this part of the mass seems to escape many. We chose a long time ago to go directly with Jesus and God will on our lives-especially in this area and I am glad we did :)Only time will tell.

God Bless!!
