No sign of Middle East talks after Quartet meeting

The Quartet of Middle East peace mediators failed to announce any progress toward reviving Israeli-Palestinian peace talks after a lengthy meeting on Monday, saying there are still gaps between the two sides.

The group, which includes the European Union, Russia, the United Nations and the United States, ended a roughly two-hour and 15-minute dinner meeting in Washington without issuing a statement.

2012: Iran's Atomic Daydreams

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Khameni has ordered the revolutionary guards to "immediately" proceed with the completion of an atomic bomb with hopes of a test in 2012, Iran Press News reports.

The order includes testing and arming of missiles capable of delivering a nuclear payload, according to sources inside the Revolutionary Guards, the report says.

According to the report Khameini's order stems from the belief that Israel and the United States lack the courage to strike Iran's nuclear facilities and that they are "frozen in place and confused as to what action to take."

Khameini and his advisors have - according to the report - concluded from Western inaction that the time is ripe for the Iranian regime to become a nuclear-armed state without any interference from the outside.

Fourth Attack on Egypt's Gas Pipeline

Masked gunmen blew up a terminal of the Egyptian natural gas pipeline to Israel and Jordan in a predawn attack Tuesday (local time), The Associated Press reported.

The report quoted security officials who said the attack was carried out by at least four assailants. The terminal is located in the city of El-Arish in the northern part of Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.

This was the fourth attack since February and the second in as many weeks on Egypt’s gas pipeline. Last week’s attack took place at a pumping station at Nagah in the Bir al-Abd region of the northern Sinai Peninsula.

Italy races to forefront of Europe debt crisis

Italy moved with alarming speed from the fringe of the European Union’s financial crisis to its very centre as efforts to prevent the debt contagion from spreading beyond Greece, Ireland and Portugal failed, even threatening to engulf the United States.

Plunging prices for trading in Italian debt presented Brussels with a nightmare scenario: The potential bailout of the third-largest economy in the euro zone could be unaffordable and could result in the destruction of the common currency.

The spread to Italy is disturbing evidence that even the largest economies, none of which seemed to share any of the worst economic traits of Greece, are not immune from investors’ fears that debt loads are simply becoming too big to be paid off.

Waning growth in the Western world is only intensifying the belief that debt defaults may be inevitable, a potentially catastrophic scenario that would slaughter the banks and cut off the credit required to keep companies functioning.

The sense that the debt crisis is spreading beyond Europe and about to grip the United States, where budget talks are in stalemate as the government bumps into its borrowing limits, has only fuelled the debt-contagion fires.

'Israel could be hit with 50 tons of explosives in next war'

Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned lawmakers on Monday that nearly 50 tons of explosives could be dropped on Israel during its next war, but added that the Israel Defense Forces could retaliate by firing back 1,500 tons of ammunition with extreme precision.

Strong 6.6 quake hits Philippines

A strong earthquake recorded at magnitude 6.2 struck off the coast of the central Philippines early on Tuesday, but officials said they expected no major damage from the tremor.

Faith Shared 'Chrislam' Drama Continues - Van Impe Tells Paul Crouch of TBN, We're Taking a Stand

Since mid-June, Jack and Rexella Van Impe have been focusing almost exclusively on "Chrislam," which they say is the merging of Christianity and Islam by numerous churches across the states in an effort to promote a demonic one world religion. A number of Christians believe that "Chrislam" is a sign of the end times.

What they are so upset about is the Faith Shared project sponsored by the Interfaith Alliance and Human Rights First, where clergy representing various faiths gather during services to read from one another's texts.

According to Van Impe, Tony Blair and Bill Clinton are also promoting Chrislam and a one world religion. A one world government will occur before the one world religion, the Van Impes say.

Markets rocked as debt crisis deepens

Europe's debt crisis escalated on Monday as Italy and Spain saw their borrowing costs soar by record amounts, hitting bank shares and stock markets globally.

"It is essential that euro area member states and the [International Monetary Fund] act in the coming days to avoid market developments spinning out of control and risk contagion accelerating," said a six-page paper presented to eurozone finance ministers by the banks on Monday.

"Market deterioration in the last few days underscores the fact that a comprehensive approach is needed immediately to contain contagion and avoid a global financial crisis," the document said.

Markets fall on eurozone fears

Markets have fallen across Europe amid fears that the Eurozone debt crisis will prove contagious and spread to Italy and Spain.

The concern is that Italy and Spain may have to join Greece, Portugal and the Republic of Ireland in seeking a bailout from the EU and IMF.

As always, thank you, Scott. Bless you!

Just found this. Pretty much a re-run of the article you posted on the Quartet, but highlights Hillary's evening wear. Is it terribly catty of me to say that she looks like the mean girl who changed into a blueberry in the original "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory?" Just pretend her face is a little blue-tinged...

Ok, that WAS unkind...catty even. Please forgive me.

The REAL reason I share it is to show that, once again towards the end of the article we see those ever-present words, (spoken from Hillary's lips this time) "peace and security".

When I see those words it just makes me think God is saying, "Christians, are you paying attention? Wake up!"...

Oh, how I long to hear that trumpet!

Here is a link about a NY Archbishop, Timothy Michael Dolan speaking about 'nonmonogamy'....Just this statement in part shows me how close we are...

"And now we ring the steeple bell again at this latest dilution of the authentic understanding of marriage, worried that the next step will be another redefinition to justify multiple partners and infidelity," wrote Archbishop Dolan. "If you think I’m exaggerating, within days of the passage of this bill, one major newspaper ran a flattering profile of a proponent of what was called 'nonmonogamy.' Apparently, 'nonmonogamy' is the idea that society is unrealistic to think that one man and one woman should remain faithful in marriage, and that openness to some infidelity should be the norm!"

In C.S. Lewis' the chronicles of narnia: the last battle, the people of narnia and their enemies started saying that aslan and the demon the calormens worshipped were the same deity. That whole "chrislam" scenario reminds me very much of that book. I'm definitely taking it as a sign that he's coming soon.

Hey guys, with all the talk about comet elenin, what about comet Honda? In august it's supposed to pass closer than elenin.

Dylan, do you have a site for that??
Please tell me....

also, this is getting out of control.
but, as mentioned MANY TIMES on
www.elliottwave.com. SOCIAL MOOD
CHANGES account for financial panics.

Wall Street Bulls seem CONVINCED..

oh, don't worry, the FED will bail
us out, yet, during QE 1 the stock
market was collapsing in OCT 2008.

My point ??

Government is a failure...

when they play with something, they
make it MUCH worse.

not better.

The FED can do QE programs from
here until Pluto, but it CANNOT
stop Social mood....

All u can do is be ready....

stay in cash...

Hello Scott
When I first came here trailing behind Hartdawg and DrNofog there were few comments in spite of your faithful updates day after day.

A short time ago, when your blog was still relatively sparse of comments, I was even then having to run to keep up with you.

NOW, I find you whizzing past me at a rate of knots amazing to behold. It is said that if one sits still on Piccadily Circus in London, people we know are bound to pass by.

That's just how it feels being here. To compliment your updates there are many great comments that give added impetuous to your news.

I have just finished catching up with 'The Cavers'. GREAT! While praying, I had tried so many Google combinations to see if they had their own site, to no avail so I gave up, sat still, and they have indeed 'passed me by' without my using a muscle to find them. That goes for you too as I realised I had loved your comments and was equally as blessed to find you. (Were you'Castle'?)

Don't want to embarrass you, or the former 4verHis and Caver, but I want to PRAISE THE LORD!for bothering to answer my prayers. I thought it was 'them', and now I am certain after seeing their wedding congratulations.

Thanks as always for all that you do to keep us on the edge of our seats. Lots of blessing coming your way.

Maranatha!
Sue

Are you SURE it was deleted?

I have sometimes thought mine were as well, but in fact the reason was because the code we have to enter had 'run out' or I had made an error in typing it. I THOUGHT it had gone through, but it hadn't.

It really isn't Scotts style to do that - unless, perhaps it was grouchy - was it? If not, it is a blog error, and not deliberately deleted. Please give Scott the benefit of the doubt.
God bless you.

ok, i will try again Sue....maybe
it was an error....In any case...
what I was TRYING to say is that
Social Mood is responsible for
markets going down....

CHANGES in Social mood do that...

Government will ALWAYS fail since
they do the wrong things at the
wrong time....

When the Fed put QE1 into effect,
it did NOT work....

markets crashed right thru it in
Oct 2008. I really do tot CARE
how many QE2's the Federal Reserve
tries, they WILL FAIL if social
mood is against them....

Wall Street is CONVINCED the Fed
reserve will always bail them out.
I doubt it >>>>>>

In other words, it DOES NOT
matter if the Fed Reserve bails
them out or not, if Social Mood
dictates a crash, IT WILL HAPPEN,
no matter what.....

Hey
I haven't deleted anything!
I just got in, and I'll go check spam. Don't forget, things go to spam all the time, and if I forget to check for a few days, there can be several comments.

Let me go take a look, but I promise I haven't deleted any comments in a long long time - in fact, I really hate to delete any comments at all.

Yep - just as I suspected, it somehow went to spam. I have no idea why some comments do that, but it happens occasionally. Sorry that happened.

Things are moving fast, and I am astonished at how much news are coming out daily - news that are highly pertinent to prophecy. In fact, I have gotten to where i have to leave articles "on the table" because there are just too many stories out there - so I have to determine not to carry a lot of stories.

For instance, there really is a "story" about the quakes, the various (and many) "cracks" that are forming in the earth, not to mention the many sinkholes all over the world. Volcanoes are also a big story - and its frustrating to have to keep deleting those stories.

Things are definitely moving fast!

He is trying to instigate riots to justify marshall law. Instead, I am calling my congressman to demand impeachment. Its not like there isn't enough info to impeach for at least 3 reasons i can think of. Too bad we can't get him for treason!
He is certainly guilty of it!
This nation needs to be on its knees praying.

SINKHOLES!

I have just remembered that my hubby said one appeared in a road in a built-up area not far from us only a week or so past. He said it was 'a big 'ole and deep'. The council had blocked the road off and were trying to fill it in. No rhyme or reason given - apparently.

Did ya know that the Dome of the Rock is sited over a SINKHOLE? ;)

God bless

Stephen said... "...the belief that the FED can produce inflation, no no, I do NOT think so..."

Stephen, You have to know by now that the Fed was NEVER created to help America, but rather, to control and destroy US!!

It is a Marxist creation from the beginning and it's very purpose is to debase the currency by creating inflation!! This in turn moves everyone into higher, confiscatory tax brackets.

Please read "The Creature from Jekyll Island" so you'll know the origins and intents of this unconstitutional privately-owned, money monopoly.

On December 23, 1913, while Congress was out of session, three Senators took it upon themselves to, by voice vote, pass the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. These three treasonous individuals handed over America's future and our economic system to a handful of private domestic individuals and foreign banking interests.

Since Congress alone has the power to coin money, this special act by "Congress" is in direct violation of 16 Corpus Juris Secundum, Section 141, which states that Congress cannot delegate or sign over its authority to any individual, corporation or foreign nation.

DrNofog said...

Congressman Lewis McFadden, Chairman of the House Banking Commission, speaking about the international financial conspirators:

"We have in this country one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve Banks, hereinafter called the Fed. They are not government institutions. They are private monopolies which prey upon the People of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign and domestic swindlers; rich and predatory moneylenders."

- McFadden died mysteriously in 1936 after three attempts on his life.

-And now the prophetic quote of Thomas Jefferson has been fulfilled:

"If the American people allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

Another good piece on how fiat currency works is Money As Debt.

Scott said...

DrNo - we're on the same page as far as the Fed Reserve....Do you think R Paul will have any luck in his push for a 'real' audit?

Also - FWIW, I have found that 99% of Americans have no idea that the "Fed" isn't in any way tied to the federal gov't and isn't under congress or any other US regulatory body.

Anonymous said...

I wish R Paul could get the audit! Fat chance! But I sure would support it. M. Bachmann also wants it audited.
