"Jews will soon be expelled from Palestine"

That captures the headline article from the Jerusalem Post today. Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar made the statement over the weekend, as found here:

Zahar: Jews will soon be expelled from Palestine

The Jews will soon be expelled from Palestine that same way they were kicked out by France, Britain, Belgium, Russia and Germany, Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar said over the weekend.“But they have no place here amongst us because of their crimes. They will soon be expelled from here and we will pray at the Aqsa Mosque [in Jerusalem].”

Zahar called for unity with Fatah as representatives of the two parties prepare to hold another round of reconciliation talks in the Syrian capital of Damascus this week.

“Let’s join ranks and speak in one voice,” Zahar said in his appeal to Fatah. “Together, with blood, we could liberate our lands and holy sites. You have tasted the bitterness of arbitrary negotiations.” He said that Hamas was making “big efforts” to ensure the success of reconciliation talks with Fatah.

So, in a nutshell, he would like for Hamas and Fatah to join together, discontinue peace talks and engage in open warfare against Israel. He may get his wish.

Meanwhile, Ramadan Shallah, leader of Islamic Jihad, called on Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to step down for abandoning the armed struggle against Israel. Shallah was speaking in Damascus on the 23rd anniversary of the establishment of his group.

“The negotiations [with Israel] have ended and there’s no alternative to jihad and resistance,” Shallah said. “The present leadership of the Palestinian Authority is not authorized to negotiate on behalf of the Palestinians. If Mahmoud Abbas can’t adopt the option of Yasser Arafat, resistance, we recommend another option which is more honorable: to quit and sit at home.”

In response, Abbas’s Fatah faction accused Shallah of serving the agenda of Iran. “We urge Shallah to adopt a constructive approach and not a destructive one,” said Fatah spokesman Ahmed Assaf. “Many Arabs and foreigners have tried to hijack the Palestinians’ independent decision-making process, but Fatah has preserved all Palestinian achievements despite internal and external conspiracies.”

Of course Iran is involved. They essentially control both Hamas and Hezbollah, and their eyes are squarely on Israel.

Report: Iran gave Hezbollah UAVs, attack aircraft

Hezbollah has obtained a complete aerial array from Iran, including an attack aircraft and several unmanned aerial vehicles, Channel 10 quoted the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Siyasa on Saturday.

According to sources close to the Hezbollah military leadership, Hezbollah has at least three different kinds of UAVs and an Iranian aircraft that could reach long distances and attack specific targets on the ground.

The sources say that these are the "surprises" that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah promised his organization would use in any future conflict with Israel.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard is responsible for the transfer of the aircraft to Hezbollah, sources say, and dozens of Iranian experts were allegedly sent to Lebanon to aid Hezbollah in building the aerial array and to train militants.

Western sources responded to the report, saying that they fear the aircraft could be an "important card" in a possible future conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

You can bet on that one - all of what we see in the region - when it involves military upgrades, missiles, anti-aircraft weapons, and now "attack aircraft" is done for one reason: Future war with Israel. Period. As Jesus said, we would hear of "Wars and rumors of war". Exactly what we see now, on a daily basis in the region surrounding Israel. And we watch the military build-up of those who want to see Israel destroyed.

In another related article, we see this:

Report: Lebanon says Israel erecting 21 spy posts along its border

Lebanon's parliament accused Israel on of erecting 21 wiretapping and spy posts along the Lebanese border, Channel 10 quoted Quds Net news agency as having reported on Thursday.

Hassan Fadlallah, a Hezbollah representative in the Lebanese parliament, said that the parliament's media and committee had investigated photographs, documents and maps proving that Israel was engaging in intelligence activity.

Fadlallah added that the Israeli spy posts cover all of Lebanon's territory.

This is not surprising; one would expect Israel to be keeping a very close eye on Hezbollah's operations right on the border. The preparations for war continue. It will come some day, depending upon God's timing. And when it comes, the dominos will fall quickly. Its just a matter of time.

if i may say something...and please dont take it the wrong way: when titling a post the same title as a headline, dont use the word "palastine" even if an article uses that word. there is no "palastine" i view the very word as propaganda. if you use the word "palastine" you should put quotation marks around it. just my opinion. its isreal not "palastine".

NO APOLOGY NEEDED - I completely agree and usually I make it a point to use that term in quotations. If quoting other sources I use the term as they state it (just so quotes are exact) - but I try to always use quotes around it (might have slipped up from time to time, but of so, its by accident).

Well, if you're actually seeking ' Truth In Advertising ', then you cannot [ in all honesty ] refer to them as Israel either... since, they are all: " Jews [or, The House Of Judah ]. " While Israel [ actually ] consists of: The House Of Judah { All Of Them Remaining Worldwide }, The House Of Joseph { Within The Kingdom(s) of Egypt }, and The House Of Israel { Within The United States of America }.

But, then again, most of you have already forgotten about them!
