More Earthquakes Shake Southern California

"Double-Quake" - More Earthquakes Shake Yorba Linda Area

Back-to-back magnitude-4.5 and -3.4 earthquakes were reported Wednesday morning near Yorba Linda area, just hours after a magnitude-4.4 quake and several aftershocks were reported in the area.

Wednesday's earthquake was reported at 9:33 a.m. about one mile northeast of Yorba Linda. A magnitude-3.4 quake was reported at 9:51 a.m. in the same area.

"It's hard to tell if this was a quake or aftershock because they were in the same area and same magnitude, so I would call this a double-quake," said Dr. Kate Hutton, staff seismologist at Caltech. "I would call this a cluster or quake swarm. We can expect to see more small quakes-aftershocks."

By 12:30 p.m., more than 10 quakes had been reported in the area:

  • 9:33 a.m. - magnitude 4.5
  • 9:40 a.m. - magnitude 1.2
  • 9:44 a.m. - magnitude 1.6
  • 9:47 a.m. - magnitude 2.2
  • 9:51 a.m. - magnitude 3.4
  • 9:54 a.m. - magnitude 2.1
  • 9:57 a.m. - magnitude 1.6
  • 10:31 a.m. - magnitude 1.4
  • 10:36 a.m. - magnitude 2.9
  • 10:44 a.m. - magnitude 1.6
  • 10:53 a.m. - magnitude 1.8
  • 12:22 p.m. - magnitude 2.7
  • 12:56 p.m. - magnitude 1.4
  • 1:12 p.m. - magnitude 1.5
  • 1:30 p.m. - magnitude 2.2

All this seismic activity in so. Calif. is very indicative of the San Andreas fault getting ready to let loose for the mother of all earthquakes... I have this ominous feeling it will be like an 8 to 9 pointer & could even involve a tsunami... Having been born in Los Angeles & lived thru quite a few quakes growing up, thank God I missed the '94 Northridge disaster as it was right where my last home was before left Calif.!
Really makes you realize how fast these 'birth pangs' are coming, more every day.....

On another note, I was saddened to hear singer Randy Travis was just arrested on DWI charges... I know he once aligned with a strong Christian faith but somehow has been tragically led astray... I hope you will join me in praying for him to come back to Christ, & God will put a strong brother in the Lord in his path to break thru to Randy to come back to Jesus, before its too late!

Indications are that stocks will be
MAKING NEW HIGHS for the year very shortly. That is bullish.

Travis ?? Hey, give this guy a break. He is only human. Why are
some saying too late ?? NAH...

He is saved right ?? Jesus will NOT
bag out on him. I doubt it. Is it
NOT true the scripture states that ...."I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU"

ok, on to other things.

L. A. destroyed soon ??

Hey could be...

Please remember Mr. Hansen's
prophetic message for Hawaii back
in OCT 2010....

I would think a BIG ONE there would
produce a wall of water 50/100 feet
high hitting here.

But then of course, by then, Los Angeles will BE FINISHED.

Interesting tidbit... I was reading an old CBN interview with Randy Travis where they were talking about how he came to faith in Jesus, & he kept referring to his WIFE as his greatest pillar of support as far as why he is a believer.... Like if he didn't have her, then he couldn't stand on his own? Makes you think how Jesus said we would have to love HIM above all things- spouse, children, money, etc. if we were to follow Him. Now Randy has lost his wife in a nasty divorce, & evidently is flailing without her, instead of clinging to Jesus more than ever.... I just pray he realizes soon how JESUS will never leave him or forsake him!

Christine-i will pray for Mr. Travis. I can tell you really have a spot in your heart for him. Why don't you write him a letter and tell him Jesus is still here for him. These "stars" have everything, fame, power and money but the dark side is pushing in them constantly and the temptations are unbelieveable. I worked in the music industry for quite awhile and there arent words adequate to describe what goes on behind closed doors.

Stephen, ur right on about Randy Travis, but i give very little heed to "prophecies" by men. time will tell. are you plugged in to a good sound church?
