A Rapidly Changing World II

This story seems to be the theme this week. The turmoil seems to be spreading around the world. It is hard to see the prophetic significance at this point, other than the fact that the world seemingly needs a leader who has the answers, and perhaps that is the bottom line.

Market rout deepens global economic crisis

The global economy stumbled deeper into crisis as stock markets slumped further on Tuesday, with investors losing confidence that the United States and Europe can rein in their debt burdens quickly and avert a double-dip recession.

The worsening market trauma has piled pressure on the U.S. Federal Reserve to announce fresh measures of support for the U.S. economy at a regular policy meeting on Tuesday, but analysts said its options are limited.

"You have got to a situation of capitulation and panic selling, and these things will keep running until we get some sort of policy response," said Peter Hickson, managing director of global commodity research at UBS.

Investors fear that, with confidence in the global economy's prospects evaporating, financial markets will remain in a slump, feeding a vicious circle of pessimism.

Civilization's End

This lawless materialism is the essence of the welfare state. “Loot as much as you can, or someone else will.” If you don’t grab government benefits or sneakers in store windows, someone else will. The rich are grabbing, the pols are grabbing—time to queue up and loot your share. Communism made this way of thinking so commonplace that all of Russia became one black market. And we are not far behind.

An understated civil war is already raging in Europe, between Muslim and African immigrants and the society they have penetrated. The conflict has made a mockery of the social controls of Europe. Put surveillance cameras on every street, and we’ll don masks and turn out in numbers. Run your DNA banks and see how much luck you have when entire streets are burning. Outlaw knives and we’ll bring our Molotov cocktails.

A disregard for the civilization becomes a disregard for its laws. And that leaves self-interest as the only hedge against anarchy. But what interest do people who do not work for a living have in preserving the businesses of others? None at all. As far as they are concerned, smash a store, it will collect the insurance, and reopen, or another will open up in its place. And even if it doesn’t, then so what? It’s not “our businesses” anyway.

Will There Be War?

An American credit downgrade. Europe in turmoil. Israel menaced by an Iran with nuclear ambitions. Mexican drug cartels run amok. Chinese ghost cities. With each passing day the news gets worse. To my amateur historian's eye, we seem to be drowning under the greatest flood of crisis, both international and domestic, since the 1930s. We all know how that ended. Will it be possible, in terrible 2010s, to resolve the world's problems without war?

About a decade ago, The National Review's John Derbyshire wrote that the odds of us, or our children, dying in a "genuine mass-mobilization-type, carriers-going-down-with-all-hands-type, flattened-cities-type war" were higher than most people believed.

Yet, even a decade ago, it was clear to some that we were headed towards some sort of cataclysm. Nations all over the world have made promises that, because they have been undermined by demographic change, cannot possibly be kept. It was always clear that, eventually, the laws of fixed numbers would catch up with us and that there would be a day of judgement.

The world's problems are so entrenched and so far-reaching that it seems doubtful that they will be resolved without the resort by some to the expedient of war. Worse, it now seems possible that a cascade of conflict will wash over the entire world as it did some seven decades ago.

London Bridges Falling Down - Why?

Another night of fiery riots in London. Scores of homes and businesses looted and destroyed. Innocents beaten, robbed, and humiliated. Most of the rioters and looters are young, teenagers. Of course, one wonders why London and other British cities are seeing outbreaks of mob action and lawlessness.

And, one might add, it points to the British welfare state as a culprit and expression of the emptiness of progressive society. Young people who are all too accustomed to government handouts have been denied the opportunites and incentives to develop initiative to build independence and self-worth through their own efforts. The state is a layer atop a degraded culture that has made British streets mean and brutish.

The Annihilation of Civilizations

Today we see another approach to dealing with the Islam of annihilation. We ignore the history of annihilation and say that all we need to do is love Muslims and we will live in harmony, a wonderful multicultural civilization. A history of 1400 years without a single exception to the rule of annihilation and we will repeal it with a smile and a hug.

All you need is love; love is all you need; all you need is love; love is all you need. Repeat that again and again, it will make a doctrine and history of annihilation go away. Actually, the way it works is that the history is never known. It is a cliché to say that those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. It is a cliché but it is true. We have our foot on the path to annihilation today because we refuse to know history.

What is the lesson? Islam, peaceful Islam, is about destruction of all Kafir civilization. Only if the Kafirs realize the goal of Islam is annihilation of their culture, can the destruction be stopped. Islam is at war with Kafirs, and Kafirs are trying to "nice” their way out of destruction. Islam is at war, we are at nice. Mohammed has a dream that is coming true while we sleep.

Islam's Assault on the West

On this week's edition of the Stakelbeck on Terror show, CBN News takes an in-depth look at Islam's advance in the West and beyond.

Watch for more on the Muslim Brotherhood-connected mega-mosque that's turning a quiet residential neighborhood in Brooklyn upside down.

Plus, something's rotten in Denmark. See how the Danes are struggling to deal with their radical Islam problem.

CBN News also visits Israel to examine a Palestnian law that calls for the death of any Arab who sells land to a Jew.

And we head to Russia to see why some are calling Moscow an Islamic city.

Video: Muslim Immigration Destroying sweden

Malmo, Sweden has been overrun by Islam. Muslims refuse to integrate into Swedish society while they live off of and deplete the system. They intimidate the police, Swedish citizens.. they even threw rocks at firefighters who were trying to put out a fire set to their mosque!

Bail-outs chip away at France and Germany too

Investors have begun to question whether France and Germany can credibly underwrite the debts of southern Europe without losing their AAA ratings and succumbing to the crisis themselves.

"What is happening is momentous," said Andrew Roberts, credit chief at RBS. "The more Europe steps in to buy Italian and Spanish debt, the more Germany shifts towards the group of countries that could be attacked."

Criticism is mounting in Germany over the authoritarian creep of the Europe's crisis measures. Otmar Issing, the ECB's former chief economist and the country's most authoritative voice on the euro, said the EMU project was spinning out of control.

Far from evolving into an authentic fiscal union with "a European government controlled by a European Parliament, elected according to democratic principles", it is turning into a deformed creature where moral hazard is unchecked and the EU is intruding on sovereign matters.

The world indeed seems just on the brink as we approach the Tribulation - a world that we should have fully anticipated at this particular time in history. In order to accept a world leader (not to mention the "mark of the beast") and a world government (a "world dictatorship" would be a more appropriate description) and all of the draconian measures which will accompany this dictatorship - then it makes sense that only a desperate, crumbling world would accept such a leader.

We are rapidly approaching that time - the point in history in which the world will not only accept such a leader, but a world that will actually cry out for and embrace such a leader.

We're almost there.

The word Allah in Arabic looks simular if not exactly like the greek text of 666.
So in 666 we may find symbols for both "Islam" and "Allah".

Not sure if this is something we should pay more attention to or not. It is interesting no doubt.

It just seems like it's one thing after the next with the global financial problems. The markets gain a bit back yesterday, then tank again today because everyone is now worried about the exposure of French banks.

It makes perfect sense that, in order for people the want change and a global leader, conditions around the world will need to reach a point very near chaos. Unless something significantly changes, it seems like we're defintely headed in that direction.

God bless.

Scuse me if I say to 'American Thinker'; the 'welfare state' or any other political issue has got NOTHING whatsoever to do with the riots. Kids may be experiencing some cut backs but they still have 100% more than we had during and after the war and we didn't riot the streets. Our parents would have wrung our necks - not so in certain parts of society today.

It is plain GODLESSNESS with no respect for themselves or anyone else - and thats a fact.

As for the Muslims; they are in it the same as the rest of us in the UK. Few, if any of them rioting, three of their young men helping their community were run down by a car and killed deliberately last night. They are hurting - all faiths, are hurting and being personally affected by this juvenile loonacy on their smart phones, laptops and their BMX bikes.

As I write the sirens are screaming again ... I know where they are, and it ain't where the Muslims live, most there would call themselves 'christian'. WHEN it IS the Muslims, I shall be the first to say! Right now they are shocked by what is happening in the UK - 'who would have thought it' they say, the same as the rest of us.

There - carry on :)

I have seen that site in the past and Walid is making an extra-long, extra-Biblical strrrrreeeeettttch, mostly to push his book on the "Islamic Antichrist" Theory.

I mentioned earlier "here" , that Dr. Reagan [LambLion.us] did a 5 part series on Richardson, Shoebat, and their "The Islamic Antichrist" theory back in January and continuing into Feb. [EI and Paula also had comments holding Shoebat "suspect"...]

And I still think Dr. Reagan thoroughly shreds them and their "theory". - The Muslim Antichrist Theory

The reason I say he's making a stretch outside of the Bible is the clear meaning given in Revelation 13:17-18 "...or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

18 "Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."

Did you catch that?!? The Word says it's "A man"! Not that Allah-baster character, an ancient Arabic pagan deity that predates MoHammered by a couple thousand yrs.

Now, as to the actual "number of his name", a lot of people have conjured up contrived number systems with the English alphabet to prove that Henry Kissinger, Bubba Clinton, Obummer, and others are the AC, but they are not using the Biblical numbers.

Hebrew & Greek are 2 unique [God-given] languages that don't have numbers, so they use the letters of their alphabet as the numbers.

Just like the letters of the name of Jesus, in the Greek NT language, adds up to 888 [8 being the number of 'New beginning' or resurrection, and 3 of them shows the Trinity], so also the ACs given name will add up to 666 [6 is the number of man, created on the 6th day, and "falls short" of "7", God's number, and the 3-6's are Satan's attempt to duplicate the Trinity], in either the Greek or Hebrew.

"...or the name of the beast..."

I think the ACs birth-given name will be an actual Hebrew or Greek name but he won't be known by that name publicly except for a few of his "friends", until he's actually revealed as the AC.

As far as what is happening in the UK, I fully agree. There were several stories on how sections of Turkish Muslims were banding together to try and save their stores etc. from the looting. That was uplifting to see.

I think the intent of the articles was with regard to the radical element of Islam, not the 'ordinary' small business owners, and workers who are actually trying to help abate these rioters.

But the article on these UK riots being a product and outcome of a generation living off of the welfare state was consistent with what you are saying.

I agree with both

Hello everyone. I don't remember who posted here recently about this subject but the post said we need to be watching for events that happen under the radar about a completely different subject matter. The reason for this warning was that the unexpected event would lead in a direction that noone dared dream of. Anyone remember that. If not that's okay I may be remembering it from a different blog. Anyway it got me to wondering about what is going on in London. Here we have an extroardinary unexpected event and last night it looks like three Muslims, coming from Ramadan services, were inetentionally killed by a british driver. Given the fact that the arab spring rose out of one man setting himself on fire do any of you think this could set off a large scale muslim event in Britain causing an uprising bringing the middle east in to play? I know this is a stretch but with the muslims murdered,I have a very strong sense that this is going to lead in to something else. What does everyone think about this scenario?

Thanks.

It is quite possible. Powder kegs are everywhere these days and a small light could be all that is needed.

Or, it could also end up being a chain reaction with more and more countries see what is happening. There does seem to be a copycat element to these riots.

Hello Scott
Please know that this is not an angry retort re. your comment‘I agree with both’.

The people living off benefits are rioting does NOT hold water. Before the all night courts were people in jobs with good qualifications in education, the kids were stirred up as ‘cover’ imo.
It is a very lame excuse to blame it on weak political arguments – that is a VERY leaky vessel that is convenient and fits near enough to the genuine grievances of those under the heel in the M.E. THAT is exactly what the Liberals want you to think as they jump onto the bandwagon.

Now ALL faiths are becoming vigilantes – understandable but worrying on its own. Defending one’s home or business is fair enough; but gathering in gangs to patrol the streets actually looking for rioters – well, they are ANGRY very angry and among these are the genuine people on benefits for good reason.

American Thinker’s opinion was just that – an opinion, an idea not based on any facts on this situation, but does fit the just as dodgy agenda of the far right.

Those in the midst of dealing with it are seeing it as I do – there is no rhyme or reason for this wickedness – whenever did wickedness need a reason. It’s that wealthy or poor people do not want to face up to their responsibilities when it means moving an inch away from their PC or TV Screens – its an ATTITUDE, that we would call being spiritually sick.

It is Godlessness; as in God, with a capital ‘G’. Those with a lower case god are being held in check, it’s not their time – why? It suits the cause of the antichrist spirit. Islam is renowned for their manipulation of benefits, most wouldn’t be able to live at all without them, and so they aren’t rioting. (Among the first to be convicted was an employed school teacher they call a ‘mentor’.)

This is the sick society of Britain come to a head – it’s been like this for too many years now, there are ‘no go’ areas because of yobs. Yobs with jobs, education, wealthy parents and 'stuff' you name it, across ALL of our society male and female and predominately under 30.

I could go on and on. I stand by what I first said ‘politics’ in whatever guise has got NOTHING to do with it – in particular; and especially, the Welfare State.

It’s definitely about wicked lawlessness because of Godlessness. They are desperate for Christ and we Christians are pandering to their ‘needs’ instead of preaching the sound Gospel to those who NEED to hear it, and don’t know it, to even reject it. I include myself in that assessment.

All before my first cuppa and brekkers.
God bless Scott.

Why can't it be both?

The rise of a welfare state and Godlessness seem to go hand in hand - that isn't politics burt a 1-1 correlation throughout Europe and theoughout history.

As nation states become more and more inclined towards welfare, they always - without exception - move further away from the Church and away from Christ. A welfare state and Christianity seem to be mutually exclusive - as the state begins to serve as a God-substitute.

I agree that this is a manifestation of Godlessness - but it (IMO) is also a manifestation of the welfare state, as these go hand-in-hand

Thats just my humble opinion

no matter what the cause or reason for the riots, it is Godlessness.

Expected Imminently said...

Hello Scott and all

I have just been with my mum shopping. I deliberately asked other peeps their opinion; they agree with my evaluation as actually being IN it. As the Daily Mail says today - its just a wonder why it hasn't happened before.

It would be convenient to make the Welfare State the scapegoat to have 'something' to hang it on. When the real truth is Godlessness in spite of having Churches in abundance who are NOT preaching THE GOSPEL.

Forgive me for being direct, but blaming the 'system' for a fall in Church numbers is how/why the Emergents began.

Sorry, but from here, it isn't both at all and we have had the Welfare State since 1945 and I am glad for it. When I lost my job, my previous taxes helped me until I was re-employed not long afterward. One son is now also jobless after paying years of taxes since he was sixteen - he is now in his forties - but no work as he is over qualified along with many, many others.

The Welfare system has been a Godsend right across the board. It is the fault of politicians (all parties) that have misappropriated the funds meant for the NHS and who are allowing immigrants to jump on the bandwagon and leech us to the bone.

We are ALL angry about this, including the immigrants who DO have work and are paying taxes. I know people who are ill trying to keep body and soul together (Christians) having to rely on the state handouts they subscribed to before they became ill. It isn't an easy option to go on benefits at all; most find it demoralising.

Right, I shall stop here, simply because I have read such tripe in the US press over the years about our Welfare system led by the far right who have an agenda as bad as the far left. Frankly, its cobblers, and peeps like Ally should not have to be struggling through no fault of their own.

I was brought up 'old' Labour which was begun by Christians - NEW Labour has wrecked this country. Until the formation of UKIP to thwart the EU, as an adult I voted conservative, my husband still does. They are the least of the evils and are now trying to clean up Blairs idealistic crap with one arm tied behind their back as the Lib/Dems pull them back. (please scuse my 'french', but it fits.)

Normally I am not politically motivated, I go by what I know, have lived and see in reality. It is nothing to do with the Welfare State that the Church is failing, it is down to plain, wicked Godlessness and it needs no reason to make it so.

I feel most impassioned about this, and its a rare feeling - I shall have to go and lie down to recover in a darkened room and take a NHS prescribed painkiller for my head and toothache. Sigh.

God bless your heart dearest Scott, but I have to say 'rhubarb' to your view on this. But I still loves ya!

Sue (((hug)))

Hello Sharon

Thank you for your concern.
For those who have lost loved ones, homes and businesses, life must be very dismal.

Otherwise life is totally normal and continues much as before with no let or hindrance. I am useless at maths; but if I had a cake in front of me to demonstrate a percentage, the disruption is a mere sliver of the whole.

Feet away from the supermarket where we shop, there is a large, modern community centre. My husband and I were there a few weeks ago at an all day class, set up by the NHS, to teach him how to cope with his newly diagnosed diabetes.

It is used at minimal cost by an Ecumenical congregation, playgroups for toddlers, company for the elderly, sick or disabled from all walks of life, and all varieties of social clubs. (nice area.) My d.in law held her 30th birthday party there so it holds a good sized function suite with an equipped bar. The sirens I heard last night was a gang of miscreant youths who broke in and vandalised it and robbed the bar - I suppose they didn’t want to forego the opportunity given to them by the recent riots?

Judging by the sirens I heard, the police pounced quickly and heavily – it was still daylight, so hopefully the police dogs soon rounded them all up. If I hadn’t been told about it by a local, there was nothing obvious to be seen at all. I heard the question ‘but WHY did they do it’? To which came the answer ‘because they were being very naughty’ (there were small children around otherwise the reply may have been stronger to describe lawlessness and plain old fashioned ‘wickedness’.)

My eldest son DID experience the rowdy gangs from his house. He told his grandmother that it was chaotic, loud and frightening (he lives alone). Praise The Lord he chose discretion above valour, and stayed indoors away from the windows. I am grateful for the prayers said here for us all, because he is like his mum and dad – he is a ‘have a go merchant’ and the situation could have been so much different. Dare I hope that he remembered His Lord and prayed for protection for himself and his vulnerable neighbours?

Damage was caused over a wide area among homes, a few businesses were attacked there were street fires, and an empty building fired; but again it could have been so much worse. The mounted police were there, brought in from two outside areas, so it seems the authorities were aware of their plans and were waiting for them? The following day was 'business as usual'.

Here is a link to last night’s local paper; the picture is roughly a 15 minute ‘man stride’ walk from my son’s house. No worries! Praise The Lord and pass the ammunition. :)

Well personally I think this stems from at least two things....the teaching of evolution with no moral accountability to God and secondly by the foolish PC teaching of not hurting our "little darlings" self esteem.

There are probably at least 100 other contributing factors but they mainly stem from being unsaved. Lost people do what comes natural.

The last I checked the Bible says we have an ego problem not a self-esteem problem. We already think the world revolves around us. It most certainly is a spiritual problem...but our liberal politics don't help the situation. At least we still have our guns in the USA...for now.

Great to 'see' you Sarah. UP! the NHS; rule Britannia and all that! :D

I'm not suggesting that there are not appropriate beneficiaries to welfare or medicaid/medicare etc.

The situation may be more nuanced that we are giving credit:

But we do know that there are many many people who do milk the systems and at least in the US, we have given benefits to single mothers and the benefits increase with the more children born out of wedlock.

In other words, there is financial incentive to have many children in "single-parent" homes.

Since that time, the % of children born w/o both parents has risen dramatically and in these states where there is the highest % of such, it strongly correlates with higher crime, poorer performance in school, joblessness, violence etc.

In the US, this has all exponentially increased since these gov't sponsored measures have taken place. I don't think this is coincidence.

Again, this has nothing to do with people recently unemployed, people seriously attempting to regain employment etc.

I am referring to those who are intentionally milking the system, by having multiple children by multiple fathers, not seeking employment, and raising their children in this environment - by intent.

Those are the areas in the US where we see the highest unemployment, the highest crime, the lowest grades in school, the highest drop-out rates, etc.

There is a very strong correlation.

Perhaps this doesn't equate to the UK, but it sure does in the US

Scott said...

And obviously, I'm not talking about the single moms, who are working, paying the bills, etc. I'm referring to those who are milking the system

Hello Scott
Exactly so; we have the same problems for sure and its that what we are ALL angry about. In the case of these mass criminal acts, the Welfare State is not the cause of it. Lawlessness, the spirit of anti-christ is and resulting in Godlessness. These Posties who think the first half of the 7 years won't be too bad are kidding themselves. When the 'restrainer of lawlessness' is taken out of the way - need I say more?

Someone said here about teaching Evolution. Yes! It is these Godlessless teachings that are increasing this lawlessness and wickednes. The I, Me and Myself attitude among some on benefits AS WELL as those having no need for them. Our limping Welfare is directly the fault of the politicians who engage with the Liberals to gain their support on some policy or another, the 'deal' is what has brought in their PC Nanny State policies.

They have not been voted into power for many decades, but they are pressing home their Godless, faulty ideals through the back door plus 13 years of New Labour who are just as bad, but not so obvious with it (sneaky)

OUR Welfare State, has been swindled by our own politicians thats certain. However I must press the point that placing these riots at the door of the benefit system is definitely NOT what these riots have been about. They do not have a legitimate grievance AT ALL.

A 'christian' Pastor was asked his opinion for the Church's take on it - what an opportunity to speak out for the Gospel - but no, he was a 'false shepherd' who bleated on about meeting the physical needs of the people and making them feel'worthwhile'. It was a load of carnal drivel and what has brought about this Godlessness. It is an 'anti-christ spirit'.

One sixteen year old yob said he stole for the sake of his SON (and a new pair of trainers for himself for goodness sake) He was a criminal, plain and simple and as usual will not take responsibility for his own actions, better to blame the 'state' instead, anybody, but not himself.
It is a paltry excuse saying 'it's not my fault I stole'.

I am annoyed that he was even given a voice to whine about his 'evil intent'. Lo and behold, the interviewer was a leftie.

Look out for the Muslim father whose son died in front of him on You Tube. I was proud of him as a fellow human being - oh that a Christian had spoken his words.

The Muslim Malayan who was beaten up, face streaming with blood from a broken jaw and robbed of his bike and money by those who came to his 'aid'. That video is painful to watch; his dignity was a credit to him - oh that christians had that much gumption.

I have a theory. VERY recently, the authorities siezed a really large haul of drugs. As a result, what remains in the country must have a huge street value due to its scarcity. THATS what they want money for; and goods to sell. One kid boasted his haul would bring him in around £2000 on the black market. Money for the rising cost of his drug habit imo.

One more thing. The facial recognition technology uses the camera's image to 'see through' the masks. Something about facial contours that protrude, a bit like a fingerprint I believe? Don't like having so many, but in this instance they ARE catching and convicting these criminals.

God bless you Scott. We may not agree on this, but I appreciate all you are doing to alert us to relevant news for these end days.
