As We Approach The Tribulation

This is a relatively slow news day, so I thought I'd spend a few moments reflecting on a recurrent theme as we approach the Tribulation, and that theme is the increasing influence of pure, unmitigated evil which we see around us every day.

As stated before, we would expect this as we draw closer and closer to the Tribulation, and we know from the prophetic scriptures that the Tribulation will be a period of unrestrained evil, as the presence and influence of the Church will have been removed.

It should be no surprise that, as we approach this era, we would witness the growing influence of evil - and indeed we are.

We see it around us every day - both in the U.S. and around the world. We see it in violence, flash mobs, riots, war, rape, mutilation, persecution, murder, oppression of freedom, forced labor camps, forced starvation, torture, and so many other human abuses; entire books could be written on this fact alone.

We see it in the influence of the media, as well described in the book The Marketing of Evil

Kupelian’s book, The Marketing of Evil was written to expose the fact that the moral decay which surrounds us is not mere happenstance and is not merely a product of the evolution of a higher society. Rather, evil and immorality have been carefully, deliberately and often brilliantly marketed to us. “Radicals, elitists, and pseudo-experts” have sold us corruption disguised as freedom. Through ten chapters, he exposes ten different areas of moral decay and the deliberate actions that have foisted them upon us.

Another review is posted here. In this review, we see the following comment:

But it is not just about money. There is also ideology. There are many who simply hate the West, who hate morality, who hate God, who hate the family. And they are doing all they can to subvert the West and recreate it in their own image.

In this line of thought, we turn to this article below. While I don't agree with every idea in this article, it does make some highly germane points that are worth considering:

Speculations on the Nature of Evil

First, these necessary realizations:

Evil craves power over others, to provide it a sense of superiority.

Evil overtly uses others, for its own security.

Evil enjoys hurting others. The desire and the power to hurt others is a thrill to Evil. (Harming includes everything from teasing, controlling, torturing, and of course, killing.)

Good, by contrast, feels that harming others is repulsive and wrong.

Evil has an aggressive agenda, enjoys planning/manipulating to get what it wants from others, or over others.

Evil pretends to look good in order to get what it wants, and therefore tells chronic lies.

Evil makes you doubt Good people in your life, in order to reduce the protection around you.

Evil pretends to do good, pretends to embrace good causes, socially. Evil pretends to help you, personally. But privately, Evil enjoys sabotaging individuals and causes, behind everyone's back.

It is hard to argue with any of those points.

The following comments are also worth considering:

Too many people are apparently still “too comfortable” and therefore don't comprehend mass suffering. Thus they don't bother to reflect upon and come to understand the Evil that's often behind it. Indeed, Good’s fatal flaw is the failure to grasp Evil’s enjoyment of doing harm and causing pain.

Thus, Evil has been free to rise to the top of our governments, corporations, military, religions, and many other institutions, as Good – good people – naively fail to acknowledge what’s really going on and “wonder why everything’s gone wrong.”

And this:

All the lack of earthly progress -- especially all reversals -- of peace, prosperity, authentic healthcare, clean/advanced technology, and universal brotherly love are most often caused by evil persons' deliberate delight at asserting power over others -- and provoking, disrupting, misinforming, assassinating, and otherwise blocking all fronts of human happiness -- for all but themselves and their allies. (Whom they eventually will betray.)

Evil people's tiny brains and shriveled hearts -- unfortunately, many of our leaders nowadays -- secretly delight in profiting from bloodshed, chaos, inequality, injustice, disease, poverty, and despair for humanity -- while they enjoy wealth, privilege, safety, freedom, and deeply perverted "fun" for themselves. This paragraph so painfully describes our suffering world today.

The article then becomes side-tracked and begins to dive into the 9-11 conspiracy, and I'd rather avoid that entire controversy because it isn't pertinent to this post and a completely different topic anyway, so lets stop at the quotes above and the points contained within.

It should come as no surprise that the darkness and the evil which will be the predominant factor on earth during the Tribulation is continuing its rise on earth as we approach that period.

With this in mind, we can turn to some of the mysterious symbolism of this growing evil - symbolism that has no apparent basis or purpose but clearly seems intent on sending a message - but a message to whom? And why?

Personally, I have no idea what these symbols (linked below) mean, nor why they have been appearing around the world. Perhaps there are innocent explanations, and these symbols are merely coincidence. But the consistency of the symbolism and the commonality in imagery is hard to ignore.

And lastly (before posting the links) - I am not saying that I agree or disagree with the commentary around these symbols, I cannot endorse these links or websites - and as stated before, we are all mature Christians with the ability to discern, so we can look at the world around us and discuss these things and their potential meanings, implications, possibilities, links to prophecy, etc., in a mature, adult way.

Additionally, I believe it is important that we look at the world around us and try and understand what is going on - rather than denial and a "head in the sand" approach. The risk of such endeavors, however, is reading misleading information and/or information which is disingenuous, untrue or intended for manipulation. But these possibilities shouldn't create a scenario of complete denial and ignorance either.

Again, we have to use our wisdom and rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance.

So lets see what is "out there" regarding the presence of evil on this earth.

Sinister Sites?

The Denver Airport

...there are so many irregularities surrounding the DIA, that a voluminous book could be written on the subject. The facilities and the art displayed lead many observers to believe that the DIA is much more than an airport: it is literally a New-Age cathedral, full of occult symbolism and references to secret societies.

The art at the DIA is NOT an aggregation of odd choices made by people with poor taste, like many people think. It is a cohesive collection of symbolic pieces that reflect the philosphy, the beliefs and the goals of the global elite. The DIA is the largest airport in America and it has cost over 4.8 billion dollars. Everything regarding this airport has been meticulously planned and everything is there for a reason.

Another very detailed review is found here: Anomalies at Denver Airport

Interestingly and quite possibly coincidentally, we know that the CIA has moved to denver:

CIA Moving Domestic Headquarters to Denver

More sinister sites:

The Georgia Guidestones

The Georgia Guidestones is a mysterious monument on which are carved ten “commandments” for a “New Age of Reason”. The first commandment? Maintaining the world population under 500 million people. Another sinister fact: the authors of what we now call the American Stonehedge are still a “mystery”… except for those in the know. We will look at the numerous features of this monument, its message calling for a New World Order and explain how it is the work of an occult secret society.

The Georgia Guidestones is an enigmatic granite monument situated in Elbert County, Georgia.

Also known as the American Stonehedge, the gigantic structure is almost 20 feet high and is made of six granite slabs, weighing in total 240,000 pounds. The most astonishing detail of the monument is however not its size but the message engraved into it: Ten rules for an “Age of Reason”. These guides touch upon subjects that are associated with the “New World Order”, including massive depopulation, a single world government, the introduction of a new type of spirituality, etc. The authors of those rules have requested to remain totally anonymous and, until now, their anonymity has been duly preserved.

Illuminati Pyramid in Blagnac, France

Located in a suburb of Toulouse, the “Place de la Révolution” is probably one of the most blatant displays of Illuminati designs in existence: a huge pyramid hovering atop a map of the world. The symbolic meaning of this structure reveals a rather grim and elitist ideology and seems to confirm the conspiracy theorist’s claims

The Place de Revolution is situated on a roundabout in the rather quiet commune of Blagnac in Toulouse, and a constant flow of cars drive around the monument every day. As is the case in diverse parts of the world, most locals find the monument that adorns their town “nice” and “decorative” without having the slightest idea of its deep occult meaning. To those who have “eyes to see” however, the Place de la Révolution clearly and unequivocally reveals the hidden force which shaped the past and is relentlessly working to mold the future. In this apparently simple structure are embedded the goals, the aspirations, the philosophy and the beliefs of the hidden elite who guide the clueless masses towards a New World Order.

Rockefeller Center

“How can the site of the most famous skating rink in the world be considered sinister? You know the one that’s in all romantic comedies…the best first date activity ever!? And what about that huge Christmas tree that we see in ALL holiday movies? That’s not sinister, that’s magical!”.

If that’s what you’re thinking right now, you should probably press pause on your “You’ve Got Mail” Deluxe Edition DVD and read on. If you’re not surprised that a center called “Rockefeller” contains tons of occult and even luciferian symbolism, as well as references to a New World Order, then you should also read on because I will reinforce what you’re already thinking, and everybody likes that.

Analysis of the Occult Symbols Found on the Bank of America Murals

Prominently displayed in the lobby of the Bank of America’s Corporate Center are “creepy” frescoes, filled with occult symbols. Even more unsettling is the fact that those images seem to predict events of a radical world change in the not-so-distant future. Are those murals predicting the coming of an occult New World Order? We will look at the occult meaning of the symbols found on the Bank of America frescoes.

(Also interesting and slightly related is this new ad: Visa's "Just Wave and Go" Commercial which seems to reveal our mindless, robotic society as we move to a cashless economy. Note how the one individual using actual cash is viewed with scorn as he isn't in "lockstep" with the rest of society. Granted, this ad is intended for humor and I doubt has any relation to the "sinister sites" listed above, but we do see how deeply integrated we are in this current society, without really giving it much thought - those who do not agree or those who dare step away from the mainstream are indeed viewed with perplexity and scorn)

--------

These articles above just represent a few of the mysterious landmarks which contain vast symbolism. The question becomes: "What does this symbolism represent?" Perhaps way too much is being read into these structures and murals, and they are all completely innocent - while the various "conspiracy" ideas are just that - conspiracy theories which are sensational and unfounded.

As far as the Denver Airport - there are several commentaries and video links which profess to "debunk" the "conspiracy theories" around the airport. I have found such sites to focus only on a fraction of the overall imagery and their conclusions leave me unconvinced.

Having said that, I really have no idea what these images really mean. On an instinctive "visceral" level, they do not seem innocent or coincidental. Rather, they seem dark and disturbing. I present them so that prophecy watchers are aware that these structures and murals do exist and are under a lot of discussion relative to their meanings and purpose.

What is clear however, is the fact that the world is becoming more and more evil by the day as we approach the Tribulation, and soon, with the "restrainer" removed, such evil will be unabated on this earth and we know the result of this process.

Thankfully, Jesus has a plan for His Bride, and it is indeed a good plan. His plan involves removing all restraint from the presence of evil on earth - and that plan is identified as the "gathering up" of the Church as described in 1 Thessalonians 4.

We also have this:

"I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on earth"
(Revelation 3:10).

That hour is approaching rapidly, but we know from the scriptures that we will be kept from this hour. The scriptures do not describe being protected during this hour of trial nor do they describe any expectations of having to endure this hour of trial or anything like that. The scriptures state that we won't even be present during the actual time of this trial.

Simply put - we won't be here. Period.

God has a plan and a promise to us.

Maranatha!

As disturbing as these sights are, the most disturbing thing I see is the targeting of youth to indoctrinate them for oppression and suppression via the fashion and entertainment industry. The fall fashion report is focusing on leopard print. Why is that important? It is preparing the minds of young women to become comfortable with the notion of sexualization and, subsequently, perversion--as in sex kitten. If you want to get a grasp of where society is headed, walk through the children's clothing at your local department store. The youth are always targeted to bring about radical change.

Thank you Scott for this your entry today & all the work you do in this blog. I very much appreciate your watchfulness & spiritual insight.

Last Sunday at church, the Lord gave me a vision of a gigantic tidal wave that was coming upon the earth. Of course, part of the progression of a tidal wave as it approaches its target shore is that the ocean recedes away from the shoreline & beaches, leaving behind the nearby ocean bottom exposed & whatever sea life that did not withdraw with the water exposed to the open air & sunlight for all to see.

People not alert to this ocean movement (it may have occurred overnight in darkness or occurred slowly over several hours), it looks like the ocean has just disappeared, & some are so foolish as to run out & play in this now dried up area abandoned by the ocean, exploring what was once the ocean's bottom (near the shore) -- picking up fishes, other sea life, coral, etc. They treat it as their playground.

This withdrawal of the ocean is a critical redflag. It means that a tidal wave -- tsunami -- is just about to hit this exposed ocean bed & devastate the shoreline with a vengence, destroy all in its path far beyond (miles?) the beach. The more ocean water volume that's "disappeared" from the shoreline during this pre-withdrawal phase of the tsunami -- the bigger & higher the wave of the tsunami when it finally comes ashore.

The Lord then gave me the interpretation of this vision, although I think you already can guess what it means:

The Church indwelled by the Holy Spirit is that withdrawing ocean; the withdrawing edge of that ocean are those in the Church who are the watchman on the wall or "rear guard". As the Lord is in the process of getting ready to completely remove His Church, it seems that our presence & area of influence is "shrinking" the ocean (i.e., us) withdraw out to sea. And all the things that used to live in the ocean near the shore but did not stay covered & move with the waters as they withdrew, are left exposed to the open dry air & sunlight & are in a process of dying. Also, the corruption that is on this ocean floor (the pollutions, debris, & trash that came from the land & its inhabitants & flowed or was dumped in the ocean) likewise lies exposed, adding to the smell of decay & death (this may be the growing evil you spoke of in your blog entry today).

As the ocean withdrawns from the shore, it becomes like a compressed spring. When it's finally released, it'll spring back -- as a tsunami with unbridled devastation.

A picture of the process of ramping up to Rapture of the Church & the Tribulation to come? Been sitting on this vision for 6 days now without having mentioned it to anyone yet. But that's my guess.

Anyway, thank you for your blog & for the way you connect both Scripture & news events together.
God bless you.

Thank you C.B. for sharing that vision. I love how nice and beautifully you explained it. I appreciate such things from this group. It feels like there has been an eerie silence -- like the calm before the storm. I pray many will come to wake up as the storm is approaching.

Thank you Scott for today's post. I really needed that as you can tell. :) It's nice to be reminded these present day sufferings are nothing compared to what is coming. Some days we can get so backed up with thoughts, feelings and emotions.

God Bless!!

C.B. - Many thanks for sharing that, and its a very potent image of where we are and where the world is headed. Plus, it is completely consistent with the scriptures. Very interesting. And thanks for the kind words :)

Gearedup - I agree. I haven't read the book (my wife has) but the 'Marketing of Evil' goes into great detail about the indoctrination process of our youth - through music, the media, TV etc.

GG - thanks. I always have to remind myself that God's plan is good and we will be spared from His coming wrath. Thankfully Jesus already took on God's wrath, which I deserved, but He did it for me. But its yet one more reason that we know we will not experience God's wrath - because Jesus already did that for me. All I have to do is to accept that incredible gift. God's coming wrath (aka the Tribulation " is for an unrepentant world - a world who refused to accept that gift. I sure wouldn't want to be here during that period, thats for sure.

Yikes, my daughter's husband drove from Indianapolis to New York City to propose to her right in front of the Christmas tree at Rockerfeller Center. My two girls went to to NYC for a fun shopping weekend three years ago and he surprised my one daughter (his girl friend) as the other daughter worked behind the scenes to navigate them both there at the same time. My daughter was pleasantly shocked and surprised!

She said yes of course and the rest is history. He and she are making me a first time grandpap hopefully some time next week. Little Samuel is suppose to arrive on the 18th.

It will be a little harder to think of Rockerfeller Center as a nice place now. My solace here is, "Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world" We just need to keep our full armor on at all times. Evil is all around us.

God is so good and conintues to bless His children right up until the time that he returns for the church.

PS...There are a couple of really good articles Scott on the front page of RR. One by J. kinsella and one on Daniel's 70th week...check them out

Wow! Such an awesome and timely post. CB, thank you for that insight...don't know if its correct or not but it certainly rings a bell of alarm.

Scott, another thank you for today's post. This is an area I have delved deeply into at one point but backed way out of due to the darkness that came with it. After reading so much it took me several weeks to get my "walk" back to where it was.

The links are must reading if you want to even start to understand how deeply but wide spread these "dark" influences are in the nature of life and behind the scenes power these days.......and how widespread.

In fact there is a statue in Confederate General Albert Pike in DC....a Grand Master Freemason. Pike was convicted of several crimes but also an author. He worshiped satin and wrote about it and long/short term objectives in a book, I believe only meant for the upper echelons of Freemasons. Even in the the late 1860s he was writing about an ultimate take over and at least 3 wars that needed instigated / manipulated to be fought and the objectives of each in the march to the ultimate objective. WWI and WWII fit 2 of them of the descriptions. A ME war, I believe, was last on the agenda and that was before Israel and oil. Think that one through and it should raise the hair on your head. Satan is working his objectives through so many pathways and dark allies of human greed.

Dark, dark, dark subject if you get too far into it.

I'll take a look, thanks

It truly is a dark place when these realizations and insights begin...That rabbit hole is long and deep.

As we've discussed, I cannot imagine being in this world today without faith and without prophecy knowledge. Frankly, I would be terrified.

I also believe it is another reason for the scripture found in 2 Peter 1:19-20

"And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place..."

Just ponder that - in the context of the darkness around us. But prophecy is a light in the midst of this darkness.

Peter knew we'd be in dark times. And he was SO right - prophecy gives us light - ie, direction, warmth, ability to SEE, guidance...Think of all the things "light" does.

I thank God every day for loving us enough and caring about us so much, that He would reveal to us the world we'd have to inhabit in these last days.

But He also gave us awesome hope with Jesus' promise and the knowledge and certainty that He will be here soon.

WVBORN56 said...

Good points Scott. I think that is why Jesus wants us focused on Him aka Hebrews 12:1-2 because when we focus on the giants in our lives instead of God or when Peter took his eyes off of Jesus and focused on the water then we get in trouble. Same here if we focus too long on the evil all about us it will not have good outcomes.

As a business person I juggle lots of balls everyday but if I take my eye off one of the most important balls, the profit ball, I am soon out of business.

What we focus on is indeed important.

My church never talks about the end times. Ironically, it's called Maranatha crc. I asked my parents about it and my mom said "it's not good to dwell on the end times." I think what some people fail to realize is that we are supposed to encourage each other with these signs because it means our redemption is near. It strikes fear in some people I think, which I don't get because if they're saved they don't have to endure the tribulation. It makes me wonder.

It seems to me that this world's focus is on MONEY, and that material

Hi Dylan~

I know exactly what you mean. I just had this talk with my un-saved sister. She says there is too much bad out there and if she focuses on my beliefs then she will lose the opportunity to enjoy the good. Her beliefs which ecompasses all the Reiki teachings believes in God and talks to Angels through meditation daily. My heart breaks for her and the need to dismiss and deny on her end is great. I have tried through the years and nothing. It hits you so deep that you feel hopeless. All I can do is pray for her and hope there are a few more witnesses that may change her heart before Jesus' return. Hang in there! Your very wise for your young age.

Hi Everyone~

I meant to post on this a couple of days ago. You know times are changing rapidly when MSM will not discuss the things that matter to save our lives but has time to lead in on various segways throughout the morning news about should Ernie and Bert get married?

http://www.ontopmag.com/article.aspx?id=9195&MediaType=1&Category=26

Friday morning all I kept thinking was how grateful I was my daughter was still sleeping and didn't have to be exposed to this via the news. Planting the seeds of confusion in young children who are in ear shot and so innocent in their thinking. My how times are rapidly chaning :)

I beg your pardon! What was that you said? Did you say:

'THE DAY OF THE LORD IS not THE RAPTURE'

Or was it:

'The DAY OF THE LORD is NOT the RAPTURE'

Did you mean:

'THE DAY of the LORD is not the RAPTURE'

Could you have meant:

'THE day of the LORD isn't THE rapture'

I wondered if you just meant to say:

'THE DAY OF THE LORD IS NOT THE RAPTURE'

Kindly elaborate to whom you were speaking; and would you please speak more clearly in the future!!!

Just to add my own facts that The Day of The Lord is not the Rapture.
