Moving into the Global Society: Soros Back in the News

We're too late in the game to be politically correct. I know the rules of engagement. Don't label anyone. Don't say anything too inflammatory. Use "reasoned" words. Dance around delicate issues and remain non-committal at all times. Don't appear to take sides. Don't show any emotion. Appear "accepting" of any and all views and lifestyles. Don't appear to be judgmental.

After 25+ years in the corporate world, I know the "rules" quite well.

Right now, at this point in the timeline of end-times events, the hour is too late for that dance. So I'm going to come right out with it:

I firmly believe that George Soros will have a key role to play in end times prophecy. This is speculation on my part. However this speculation is based upon years of following his actions, his speeches, his world-view, his Machiavellian manipulation of world markets and finance and his unadulterated hatred of Israel and most likely America as well. Unfortunately it is also based upon his enormous financial power and influence - all of which is used in very ominous, threatening ways - ways that are threatening to freedom.

I'll even go so far as to say that it is possible (I repeat "possible") that Soros will have some role to play in the rise of the antichrist, whether by intent or by accident. I would say more - much much more, but I will try to remain at least a little "PC".

Anyone who has followed this blog for any length of time has seen the articles.

Today is no exception:

Unreported Soros Event Aims to Remake Entire Global Economy

Two years ago, George Soros said he wanted to reorganize the entire global economic system. In two short weeks, he is going to start - and no one seems to have noticed.

On April 8, a group he's funded with $50 million is holding a major economic conference and Soros's goal for such an event is to "establish new international rules" and "reform the currency system." It's all according to a plan laid out in a Nov. 4, 2009, Soros op-ed calling for "a grand bargain that rearranges the entire financial order."

This "plan" referenced above is linked via the next article.

The event is bringing together "more than 200 academic, business and government policy thought leaders' to repeat the famed 1944 Bretton Woods gathering that helped create the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. Soros wants a new 'multilateral system," or an economic system where America isn't so dominant.

More than two-thirds of the slated speakers have direct ties to Soros. The billionaire who thinks "the main enemy of the open society, I believe, is no longer the communist but the capitalist threat" is taking no chances.

Thus far, this global gathering has generated less publicity than a spelling bee. And that's with at least four journalists on the speakers list, including a managing editor for the Financial Times and editors for both Reuters and The Times. Given Soros's warnings of what might happen without an agreement, this should be a big deal. But it's not.

So what's the big deal?

What is a big deal is that Soros is doing exactly what he wanted to do. His 2009 commentary pushed for "a new Bretton Woods conference, like the one that established the post-WWII international financial architecture." And he had already set the wheels in motion.

Just a week before that op-ed was published, Soros had founded the New York City-based Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET), the group hosting the conference set at the Mount Washington Resort, the very same hotel that hosted the first gathering.

The creation of a New World Order - In Soros vision, of course.

Please read the following very carefully and then reflect on the words in the context of biblical prophecy:

Soros described in the 2009 op-ed that U.S.-China conflict as "another stark choice between two fundamentally different forms of organization: international capitalism and state capitalism."

He concluded that "a new multilateral system based on sounder principles must be invented." As he explained it in 2010, "we need a global sheriff."

A GLOBAL SHERIFF? Really? Does this sound hauntingly familiar?

When he called for a new Bretton Woods in 2009, he wanted it to "reconstitute the International Monetary Fund," and while he's at it, restructure the United Nations, too, boosting China and other countries at our expense.

"Reorganizing the world order will need to extend beyond the financial system and involve the United Nations, especially membership of the Security Council,' he wrote.

Soros emphasized that point, that this needs to be a global solution

And that's exactly the kind of event INET is delivering, with the event website emphasizing "today's reconstruction must engage the larger European Union, as well as the emerging economies of Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Asia."

The Soros empire is silent about this new Bretton Woods conference because it isn't just designed to change global economic rules. It also is designed to put America in its place - part of a multilateral world the way Soros wants it.

He wrote that the U.S. "could lead a cooperative effort to involve both the developed and the developing world, thereby reestablishing American leadership in an acceptable form."

That's what this conference is all about - changing the global economy and the United States to make them "acceptable" to George Soros.

Just run with this for a second. If Soros so desperately wants to create a new world order and a world-wide financial structure involving a "Global Sheriff", then you can rest assured that he is working on that very mission.

We also know that ultimately a "Global Sheriff" will indeed come along and he will reign over the world's finances via the Mark of the Beast, not to mention reigning over the world's government system. Connecting these dots isn't that much of a stretch. This isn't to say that Soros is intentionally setting out to set the stage for the antichrist (although one must consider this remote possibility), but he sure seems determined to find such a leader.

According to Soros himself, we see his own writing:

No alternative to a new world architecture

Twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of communism, the world faces another stark choice between two fundamentally different forms of organization: international capitalism and state capitalism.

The former, represented by the United States, has broken down, and the latter, represented by China, is on the rise.

And let us all conveniently ignore China's intense persecution of Christians, which is apparently ok with Mr Soros, or the human rights abuses, genocide, mass killings, selective female abortion, and the list goes on and on.

Following the path of least resistance will lead to the gradual disintegration of the international financial system. A new multilateral system based on sounder principles must be invented.

While international cooperation on regulatory reform is difficult to achieve on a piecemeal basis, it may be attainable in a grand bargain that rearranges the entire financial order.

A new Bretton Woods conference, like the one that established the international financial architecture after World War II, is needed to establish new international rules

In addition, a new Bretton Woods would have to reform the currency system.

Well, of course. This must happen as a precursor to the Mark of the Beast, and in order for a single individual to gain complete control of the world's finances. But we prophecy watchers already knew this didn't we?

And consistent with what we have already been reading, the single currency will begin via the SDRs as controlled by the IMF:

The U.S. ought not to shy away from wider use of IMF Special Drawing Rights. Because SDRs are denominated in several national currencies, no single currency would enjoy an unfair advantage.

One great advantage of SDRs is that they permit the international creation of money, which is particularly useful at times as now. The money could be directed to where it is most needed. A mechanism that allows rich countries that don't need additional reserves to transfer their allocations to those that do is readily available...

In other words, global redistribution of world's finances as Mr Soros sees fit. But world finances aren't enough for Mr Soros. He needs a world governance to suit his needs and his vision of the way things should be.

Reorganizing the world order will need to extend beyond the financial system and involve the United Nations, especially Security Council membership.

The emergence of the Group of 20 as the primary forum of international cooperation and the peer-review process agreed in Pittsburgh are steps in the right direction. What is lacking is a general recognition that the system is broken and needs to be reinvented.

Oh, it will most definitely be reinvented. That's a guarantee.

In a somewhat unrelated article, we can see how diverse Mr Soros influence is in world affairs:

Soros fingerprints on Libya bombing

Philanthropist billionaire George Soros is a primary funder and key proponent of the global organization that promotes the military doctrine used by the Obama administration to justify the recent airstrikes targeting the regime of Moammar Gadhafi in Libya.

The activist who founded and coined the name of the doctrine, "Responsibility to Protect," sits on several key organizations alongside Soros.

Also, the Soros-funded global group that promotes Responsibility to Protect is closely tied to Samantha Power, the National Security Council special adviser to Obama on human rights.

According to reports, Power was instrumental in convincing Obama to act against Libya.

The Responsibility to Protect doctrine has been described by its founders and proponents, including Soros, as promoting global governance while allowing the international community to penetrate a nation state's borders under certain conditions

Doesn't this sound ominously like a "global military force"?

The joint U.S. and international air strikes targeting Libya are widely regarded as a test of Responsibility to Protect – which is a set of principles, now backed by the United Nations, based on the idea that sovereignty is not a privilege, but a responsibility.

According to the principle, any state's sovereignty can be overrun, including with the use of military force, if the international community decides it must act to halt what it determines to be genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity or ethnic cleansing.

The term "war crimes" has at times been indiscriminately used by various U.N.-backed international bodies, including the International Criminal Court, or ICC, which applied it to Israeli anti-terror operations in the Gaza Strip. There has been fear the ICC could be used to prosecute U.S. troops.

An organization calling itself the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect is the world's leading champion of the doctrine

There's more:

Activist Gareth Evans, who sits on the global group's advisory board, is widely regarded as the founder of the Responsibility to Protect principle.

During his tenure as Australia's foreign minister, Evans served as co-chair of the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty, which invented the term "responsibility to protect."

In his capacity as co-chair, Evans also played a pivotal role in initiating the fundamental shift from sovereignty as a right to "sovereignty as responsibility."

But according to who? Mr Soros? Who makes the decisions regarding whether or not a nation is displaying "responsibility"? Who is making the rules?

Evans sits on multiple boards with Soros, including the Clinton Global Initiative.

Soros is on the executive board of the International Crisis Group, a "crisis management organization" for which Evans serves as president-emeritus.

It gets even worse. Lets see who Mr Soros supports:

WND previously reported how the group has been petitioning for the U.S. to normalize ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, the main opposition in Egypt, where longtime U.S. ally Hosni Mubarak was recently toppled.

Aside from Evans and Soros, the group includes on its board Egyptian opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei, as well as other personalities who champion dialogue with Hamas, a violent offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood.

WND also reported the crisis group has also petitioned for the Algerian government to cease "excessive" military activities against al-Qaida-linked groups and to allow organizations seeking to create an Islamic state to participate in the Algerian government.

Soros' own Open Society Institute has funded opposition groups across the Middle East and North Africa, including organizations involved in the current chaos.

So lets summarize what Mr Soros is pushing:

- A world financial system with global redistribution of wealth as he sees fit
- A single currency system
- A "Global Sheriff"
- A decline in American power and influence
- Hatred of Israel and America
- Support of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and al-Qaida (all who are engaged in the destruction of Israel)
- Unrest in the Middle East and creating a scenario in which radical Islam gains power

This individual is worth watching VERY carefully.

I look forward every morning to reading your blog. I appreciate the time you take. We are approaching the end and the labor pains are coming faster each day. Thank you for your very informative blogs!

Perhaps it's due in part to Soros that Sharia Law is being rapidly implemented throughout the world. And with Sharia Law there will be many who will die by the sword, just as it is prophesied in the Bible.

Good grief already! If I wasn't going home soon this George Soros open treson would have me fighting mad. Have the masses been lulled to sleep? Are we just too comfortable? Or is it a matter of "you can't fight city hall"?

I suppose it is a bit of all those and more. I feel for folks who will be "left behind" when Jesus returns for His bride. It won't be pretty. Time is running out...the birth pains are indeed painful.

Thanks a lot Anon! Its greatly appreciated.

WV - my thoughts exactly. I'm still somewhat mad - just as his audacity and power-hungry mindset. But it is tempered by the fact that we will be headed home soon. Good point.

Gearedup - It seems that every time you turnover a rock, you find Soros. Its amazing how many things he is involved with

WV, perhaps there's something else here too. For the last 40 years life has been changing...some say by accident, some say by design.

We have gone from an 8hr work day and 15-20 minute commute to a 9-11 professional work day and often an hour commute. Laws have been changed that effectively require us to open and verify every piece of mail and so on to ensure we don't become a victim of a time dated whatever. Time suckers....leaving virtually nothing to spend with our family and absolutely none for most to keep up with the real news and protest what's being done against and to us.

Just a thought from my knot hole to the world. We don't have time to do the necessities, much less keep vigilante and this is what happened to us.

Scott, I believe that Soros will be the spokesperson for all things AC. I can imagine him as the future chairman of the board of 10 nations. There is something very sinister about his method of madness. I am thankful that the Lord is the author and finisher of my life and that nothing can separate us. How wonderful it will be to enter the kingdom as a spotless, purified, redeemed soul.

Caver - thats a good point regarding the necessities of just making a living these days, and the commutes and the hours. It really does create a scenario in which people just don't have the time or energy to see the "signs"...I have many friends like this and its hard to be critical (not saying you are being critical - just in general...) - as I watch them struggle to make ends meet.

gearedup - I completely agree and 'm not sure what his exact role will be - but I believe it will be significant - at least in the days leading up to the AC's power. Soros better watch out though (assuming this is the case) - the AC may not need him for the whole 7 years.

Scott, I certainly wasn't being critical either......I'm in the very same boat. :( There's hardly time to get up and take a breath before its time to wake up and do it again.

Such is life in these days...

We'll get a nice 7 year period of REST soon. I can't wait :)
