Lies and Deception III

As the "Peace Talks" get underway, the lies and deceptions pushed on the public are whipping up in a frenzy.

First up is the MSM's (also gaining in popularity is the term "Zombie Media" - a term I may adopt soon) handling of the tragic murders in Israel:

"Seeing Red: Jewish Blood on the West Bank, Its Portrayal in the Western Media"

Four young civilians — human beings, fathers, mothers, one of whom was also pregnant, collectively the parents of seven children — were brutally gunned down by armed, masked terrorists. Their murders were openly celebrated in the streets by their attackers and by thousands of their supporters.

You would think that the world would recoil in horror — or that those who report the news, worldwide, would do so. Think again. These four precious souls were Israeli “settlers” and, as such, have already been so demonized that they are now seen as having provoked their bloody, pitiless deaths.

Allow me to first quote from the Bible of the intelligentsia, aka the New York Times, which presents this incident on page 4, not on page 1;

The accompanying Times headline?

Unbelievably, it is this: “Killing of 4 Israeli Settlers on the Eve of Peace Talks Rattles Leaders on Both Sides.” It’s really not clear who killed the “settlers.” What is clear is that “both sides” are “rattled.” The piece opens with a paragraph that made me see red, both literally and metaphorically. It reads as follows:

“The killing of four Israeli settlers, including a pregnant woman, in the West Bank on Tuesday evening rattled Israeli and Palestinian leaders on the eve of peace talks in Washington and underscored the disruptive role that the issue of Jewish settlements could play in the already fragile negotiations.”

The Gray Lady does not even tell us the names of the Israeli civilian victims, nor are they in any way humanized. Their histories are not presented. They are only “particularly militant settlers”: faceless, shadowy figures. We are not supposed to care about them. We do learn what Hamas said about the attack, namely that it was a “natural response to the crimes of the Israeli occupation and its settlers.” We also learn that “hundreds” of Hamas supporters “took to the streets … to celebrate the news of the attack.”

Shame on you, Isabel Kershner and Mark Landler (who share this byline of infamy), and shame on your editors.

The victims were Yitzhak and Tali Imes, who had six children, including a year-and-a-half old infant; and Kochava Even-Haim and Avishai Schindler. One of the members of the Israeli rapid response medical team discovered that his own wife (!) Kochava was one of the victims. Kochava was a “married schoolteacher” who struggled for many years to have a child and finally succeeded. She leaves behind an 8-year-old daughter.

The Post also tells us that the terrorists may have videotaped the assault, that Hamas claimed responsibility for this “heroic” operation, and that Hamas also “launched a sickening celebration that drew 3,000 people in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip.”

The MSM tells us that Israel is the enemy and Hamas and Hezbollah are the "freedom fighters" engaged in a worthy endeavor.
In other, more simple words: Israel: bad, Terrorists: good.

While on the topic, lets see more lies and deception propagated recently:

"Mubarak the Peacemaker?"

Today, Hosni Mubarak, the Egyptian dictator, will arrive in Washington, D.C. for the purpose of participating in the Middle East Peace Summit planned by U.S. President Barack Obama. There he will discuss the Palestinian-Israeli issue, along with Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority leader Abbas.

The prospect of Mr. Mubarak sitting down to broker or somehow facilitate peace between the Arabs living in Gaza and the state of Israel is laughable.

Despite the signed peace treaty of 1979 between Egypt and Israel, during his twenty-nine years ruling Egypt, Mr. Mubarak has never once paid a visit to his neighbor, Israel, because he does not recognize Jerusalem as the capital of their country.

Within Mubarak's country, Arab-Muslim leaders and Egyptian media commonly refer to their Israeli neighbors as Kafirs (unbelievers), and everyone in the West by now knows the ramifications of being a Kafir in the eyes of Islam. This alone is enough to question Mr. Mubarak's integrity and intentions as he sits down at the table in Washington this coming week.

But if his attitude alone isn't proof enough that he is just playing a phony peacemaker game here in his current visit to America, look at Mubarak's record until no

As peacemaker, he allows the excavation of at least four hundred tunnels between the Egyptian borders in Sinai through Gaza. The purpose of the tunnels is to smuggle weapons to terrorists who fight against the only democratic country in the region. Does Mubarak expect the West to actually believe he does not know about these gun runs, or does he believe his brand of peacekeeping is perfectly acceptable to us? The West doesn't seem to mind either way because we are convinced that Egypt is a free and peaceful society aspiring to live among other democratic nations.

If this isn't enough argument for Mubarak as peace-faker, shall we look at how this prompter of peace keeps peace within his own borders, where the so-called government overlooks the trend in minority killings and unsolved murders as they relate to the non-Muslim minority?

What about the Coptic minority population of Egypt, whose members begs for fairness under the law but find themselves instead needing protection from it?

Copts, for example, appealed to Mubarak on various occasions, looking for protection and fair treatment, but this president of all Egyptians chose to follow his law of the desert, Arab-Islamic law, and use it against them. The following is just a sampling of what has occurred in recent times:

Included in this article is a lengthy listing of actions against the Copts including overt abuse, murders, burnings, etc etc etc. The list is too long for this forum, but it is shocking. The article's conclusion:

The entire list is too numerous to include here. I chose a few facts in a few years to illustrate the point that Mubarak, who is the leader of a supposedly civil country, is very definitely allowing this destructive trend involving massacres of a portion of his citizenry to continue. Shall we now take him seriously as he comes to Washington offering his mediation to generate peace?

But lets not forget - we are living in an era in which the truth is irrelevant. Lies and deception are the order of the day:

This year, once again, Mubarak will come to Washington masquerading as a genuine peace-loving leader of a real democratic republic who seeks to keep peace within his own borders and beyond using principles of fairness and equality, freedom of speech, and especially freedom of religion. The Western leadership reaches out and warmly receives him -- like-minded statesmen, one to another. How long will we allow this charade to go on?

While on the topic of lies and deception - the vast majority of which are intended to push the progressive agenda, and to aid and assist in the destruction of Israel - lets see a few others that are in the news today:

"IPCC and CRU Rewrite Facts But Can't Rewrite History"

This article details the lies and deception propagated by the global warming crowd. At least this one has been well exposed. If one does not know the truth about so-called global warming yet, its because the proverbial head has been in the proverbial sand for waaaay to long. Again, the entire "global warming" hoax has been completely disproven if one is willing to take the time and look at the facts, rather than the zombie media's propagation of lies and deceptions.

Below, we see more lies and deception regarding the Middle East, again as pushed by the zombie media:

"There Will Be No Peace"

On Monday all the talk in the news was of an Israeli Rabbi who had called on G-d to strike down Abbas, the head of the terrorist Palestinian Authority, and the rest of his gang. On Tuesday, terrorists murdered a pregnant woman and three other people. The same media that dedicated a great deal of time and energy to condemning Rabbi Yosef for inciting violence, wasted no such time on discussing the constant incitement to violence practiced by the Palestinian Authority media under Abbas’ authority.

Earlier this month Abbas had participated in a ceremony honoring the Munich Massacre terrorists. But the media has never been particularly interested in discussing Muslims calls to violence, only in tarring any opponents of Muslim terrorism in the darkest and ugliest shades.

The murder of four Israelis and an unborn child was described not in terms of their human toll, but their political toll.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs condemned the terrorists as “enemies of peace”. The six orphans no doubt thank him for his concern for “peace”.

Gibbs boasted that the Palestinian Authority had condemned the attack. In reality what the Palestinian Authority had said was that the attack went “against Palestinian interests”. As condemnations go, this is right up there with, “Don’t sell drugs while the police are watching my house” and that all time champion, “I am completely against adultery in an election season”.

The Palestinian Authority did not condemn terrorism. It condemned the attack because it wasn’t in their interest today to murder the Ames’ and their friends today. Tomorrow it might be again.

Meanwhile the US is funding a Palestinian Authority ad campaign aimed at Israel, which suggests that Abbas and his terrorist gang is interested in peace, and Israel isn’t. So while Obama talks about being evenhanded, he is actually funding a series of domestic attack ads against Netanyahu, and for Abbas.

The media coverage has proven to be every bit as human as Gibbs and Crowley, focusing on the murders only in terms of their potential for disrupting the negotiations. This has been the modus operandi for almost two decades now, as articles have run off the press treating every murder of Israelis not in terms of the dead, but in terms of what it will do to the prospects for a terrorist Palestinian Arab state.

There is of course not a word of regret from any of Hamas’ useful idiots in Code Pink or any of the other leftist supporters of the flotilla.

The same people who can spend pages moaning about the plight of the people of Gaza showed their true humanitarian colors with their silence.

There is of course no talk permitted of that. No context given beyond that of the omnipresent “occupation”. No acknowledgment that murdering Jews is part of the Koran, which dehumanizes Jews in particular, and other non-Muslims in general.

A day from now, this story will already be gone from the headlines. Swept away by the latest manufactured scandal used by the media to target Israel in the non-stop orgy of hate directed at the Jewish state.

There are enough NGO’s and reporters working hard to smear Israel, and they are bound to turn up something. But even if there is nothing, the story will vanish quickly anyway. Because while a number of dead Turkish Islamists who tried to beat and stab Israeli soldiers to death may trigger an international outcry and calls for an investigation—but the murder of four Israelis will trigger none.

The conclusion is about as politically incorrect as you can find. But one thing I have noticed over the years: Political correctness and the truth are mutually exclusive:

Terrorism does not exist because there is no peace process. Terrorism exists because there IS a peace process, or a possibility of one. Hamas murdered five Jews because it wanted to make a point to all the parties that it could not be ignored. At other times it is Fatah that has done the same thing. Israel’s willingness to negotiate stimulates terrorism like nothing else, because it creates a tangible reward. Without the peace process, terrorism would fade away on its own. As it had become a fading problem, before Clinton and Rabin plucked Arafat out of obscurity and gave him a country to play with. Paradoxically as long as the peace process holds out the possibility of victory for the terrorists, there can be and will be no peace.

Lies and deception. Just look at the above articles - and these articles only represent one single day of media coverage of the various events. One day. It happens so much we casually dismiss the lies and deception (well, some of us do that) and move on. But upon reflection its is actually stunning that we live in an age in which facts/news stories are twisted so much that they have no resemblance to the truth.

But as mentioned - the aspect of lies and deception are the order of the day. And this is all part of the overall process of marching towards the Tribulation, and preparing the way for the coming antichrist.

Fortunately, we do have THE TRUTH. It is found in Christ Jesus and the God of the Holy Bible.

As the apostle Peter stated, in the context of our prophetic scriptures:

"And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place." (2 Peter 1:19)

Amen.

i been thinking about spiritual warfare, principalities and demons (which some are regional) and one has to wonder, is it (the lies, medias` propaganda...) a liberal/conservative a democrat/republican battle or a demonic war going on behind the scenes

I had a feeling we'd be hearing from you upon Blair's memoirs being released LOL - But I completely agree.

Hart
Not sure about the hurricane but the timing is VERY interesting.

On the other point - I absolutely believe that almost everything we see now is ultimately a reflection of the epic battle of good vs evil - ie, the ultimate in spiritual warfare. And its only going to get worse.

Thank you for a great blog ! Question.....The Muslim's want a mosque at controversial ground zero which is in the news daily ! Pause and think ! Mosque...controversial...ground zero.. think "Islam's version of the temple is their mosque".
Could the antichrist be positioning the "peace" process around using a "ground zero mosque" in exchange for a "third Jewish temple" on the controversial temple mount ? America gives something, Islam gives something, Israel gives some land...and "peace" is assured ...just a thought...

Thanks a lot.
That is an interesting question. One that I hadn't considered. It could be.
I still believe that after Gog-MaGog - we'll see the most favorable conditions to a peace plan, which includes the temple. We'll see. Hopefully soon.

Absolutely there are demonic powers over the nations - and they affect us too.

I think you know my son has gone PD? I wrote and told his pastor what I thought, and I intended to make as big a fuss as possible. After all I am already seen as the enemy and have been banned from his family - I decided I may as well get hung for a sheep as well as a lamb!

Then I realised fully that this battle was out of my power. This isn't about my own flesh and blood; it is spiritual powers at work.
'They' may think I have been frightened off, but no, I got wise instead, realising this battle belongs to The Lord! So I have backed right off, saying little and remembering that when I put my hands back onto the fight, I delay God's own work. His ways are not ours. Those powers need a greater power than humans to deal with them. Our responsibility is to pray, believe The Word and TRUST The Lord to do His job.
God bless
Sue
