The Russian "Northern" forces put the road axis leading to the city of Kharkiv under artillery control, which is causing second thoughts in the Kremlin due to the non-existence of the Ukrainian defense.

The cordon around the city is beginning to tighten as Ukrainian forces lose critical road axes. 

The situation will worsen significantly for Kiev after the loss of the Lypsi and Volchank settlements.

The Russians admit that the first objective was to create a "Buffer Zone" at the border, but now there are prospects that favor a direct attack on the city.

Russian forces have taken control of the Kharkiv-Lypsi highway, the Russian soldier with the call sign "Ruda" said.

"This is the route that leads to Lyptsi and Kharkiv itself. Our units are already near Lyptsi (they are constantly improving their tactical position), and the route leading to Lyptsi and Kharkiv is already under the control of our artillery.

Their every move is constantly monitored. "Every phalanx that enters and exits is in danger" , said "Ruda".

According to him, the supply of ammunition, removal, rotation of personnel and accumulation of reserves by the Ukrainian Army is difficult due to the current situation.

"They don't save people, they don't care how many die there, how many go in, how many go out ," he added.

The settlement of Lukyanchi, in the Kharkiv region, came completely under the control of the Russian army.

Now the target of the Russian forces is the settlement of Lyptsi, the capture of which will open the gate for a major attack on Kharkiv!

The settlement of Bugrovatka which is located on the Seversky Donets River was completely taken under the control of the Russian army.  

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the "North" troop group liberated the settlements of Bugrovatka, Gatishche, Krasnoye, Morokhovets, Oleynikovo, Borisovka, Ogurtsovo, Pletenevka, Pylnaya and Strecheya.

Russian forces control northern Volchansk and are advancing toward the city center.

Russian troops are trying to cut off the city center from the railway station area to the west and along the river.

The early capture of the Bugrovatka settlement means a gradual cut-off of the Ukrainian garrison in Volchank from the south-west and no possibility to reinforce it.
