"Is The World Spinning Out Of Control?"

Two interesting articles below: The first summarizes the global financial crisis and the imminent wars:

Is the World Spinning Out of Control?

More Europe bailout news.

The latest scheme is for countries to trade sovereignty over their budgets in return for more bailout money.

The Sunday Times is reporting the ECB is putting together €1 trillion that will be used for a “colossal” intervention in European bond markets. The paper goes on to say,

“The cash injection will only be carried out if leaders can agree on handing over more fiscal control to the EU and for strict controls to be imposed on nations struggling to control their debts.”

In an interview last week, she said, “Europe is done. Europe is mathematically impossible. It cannot be saved. You even want to make a start at trying to bail out Europe, we’re talking $25 trillion JUST TO START…we’re in excess of $100 trillion to bail out Europe.”

Jim Rickards, author of the new best-selling book called “Currency Wars,” thinks the risk of a meltdown is greater than most experts think. Rickards said in an interview over the weekend, “The likelihood of a collapse is higher than a lot of analysts assume . . . therefore we are in very dangerous territory

That's the financial end of things - now the article turns to the coming wars:

The Telegraph is reporting, “Iran’s military said on Sunday it had shot down a US reconnaissance drone aircraft in eastern Iran and warned it would retaliate on foreign soil for the incursion.”

The Iranians have become the black sheep of the world ever since the International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed it is developing nuclear weapons earlier this year. What do you bet the downed drone had something to do with spying on that program? Sanctions have been building against Iran from around the world, but the smell of war is in the air.

Meanwhile, a story recently on Chinese state run Television said China would side with Iran if it were attacked, even if it means “World War Three.”

If war breaks out in the Persian Gulf, Iran’s first move would be to shut down oil flow from that region by closing off the Straits of Hormuz. 40% of the world’s oil moves through this narrow 30 mile passage every year.

Between war or sanctions, oil prices will spike and push a world economy teetering on the brink over the edge into an abyss. If the global economy is not killed off by the EU debt crisis, it would surely collapse under the weight of $300 barrel oil. Never in history has the world been this close to total financial chaos and nuclear war at the same time.

And this related article, as referenced above:

China Joins Russia, Orders Military To Prepare for World War III

A grim Ministry of Defense bulletin issued to Prime Minister Putin and President Medvedev today states that President Hu has “agreed in principal” that the only way to stop the West’s aggression led by the United States is through “direct and immediate military action” and that the Chinese leader has ordered his Naval Forces to “prepare for warfare.”

"China will not hesitate to protect Iran even with a Third World War,” and Russian General Nikolai Makarov who grimly stated last week: “I do not rule out local and regional armed conflicts developing into a large-scale war, including using nuclear weapons.”

The raising of global tensions between the East and West was exploded this past fortnight when Russian Ambassador Vladimir Titorenko and two of his aides retuning from Syria were brutally assaulted and put in hospital by Qatar security forces allegedly aided by CIA and British MI6 agents attempting to gain access to diplomatic pouches containing information from Syrian intelligence that the United States was flooding Syria and Iran with the same US-backed al Qaida mercenaries who toppled the Libyan government.

Sadly, but as always, the American people are not being allowed to know the horrific future their elite leaders are planning for them, a situation made even worse this past week when the US Senate passed a new law by a 93-7 vote that is warned will destroy America for all time by giving total control of this once free nation over to its military forces and destroy their Constitution.

As we noted in our previous report, it is worth mentioning again the words of the American Founding Father, Thomas Jefferson, who warned his fellow citizens over 200 years ago about what is happening today by saying:

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

What we are now seeing on a daily basis - is a world that is racing towards the Tribulation. There is no doubting that now.

Stephen, in a week or two, Europe will be in the throws of mass riots as austere measures sink in on the masses. The chaos is sure to shake the politicians "in control". The ensuing aftermath will shake markets world wide.

Europeans will blame the collapse of the euro on America and soverin nations in Europe and the only way to fix it is to unite under one government. Hope you play the commodities like you play the stocks. Either way, you're in my prayers.

Hey scott please don't take this the wrong way but id like to see less blue and more you. (Articles are blue on my phone) id love to see more teaching and personal insights. that's assuming you're able to. i understand how busy we get. just a thought.

Scott the Greg Hunter article, "Is the world spinning out of control" indeed shows the stage is set for the tribulation and it looks to be very close. Great article and if you read thru the comments it appears he is a believer. Nice find

Another question (if you don't mind) does it get overwhelming trying to sift thru articles when there are thousands of them....all pointing to the coming tribulation?

Stephen, This is exactly what concerns us about you, why we pray for you, and try to show you the Truth of His Word, and point out the verifiable, true facts of history so you can separate yourself from this deceptive obsession that you are obviously trapped in!

"Think about it!" ...is what you like to say to us... so think about this:

What 'spirit' drives you to keep coming back, mocking Scott in full-on, all CAPS after he politely warned you not to, AND telling **us** "...this blog is filled with hypocrites...", after saying you weren't ever coming back?!?

What 'spirit' drives you to come back to mock all of us with your "truth" that denies that God's Prophecies supersede, and are not at all dependent on Satan's deceptive, numerology gimmicks:
"...Did it end yet ??

DID IT ??

I DO NOT THINK SO

DOW UP AGAIN HA HA HA

GO AHEAD SCOTT, DELETE IT....

BUT FACE THE TRUTH >>>>>>..."

Sadly, at some point we have to agree and follow the Word of God:

Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone. Hosea 4:17

..But still praying for you...

Scott- The signs are indeed piling up. Russia and China have finally said enough is enough to American expansionism. Ron Paul is right,we are bringing this on ourselves with every invasion, covert operation and drone strike.

How would American reactif Russia was bombing Mexico and China was arming rebels in Canada?

It is bigger than politics now. The protesters in Moscow are not coordinating with Al Queda in Libya (unless both are CIA operations).

The marching orders we see are either coming from Langley or Hell, I am leaning slightly toward the latter.

Many of the collective assets on the world's balance sheets do not exist. The bonds in some cases are worth 18 cents on the dollar. The real estate holdings are worth half. The cash held is worth-less due to the inflation that the governments still deny existence.

Robin- you are right, German politicians are already blaming the US for the EU collapse.

I would like to blame specific policymakers, politicians advisors and organizations for what is happening; but I can't stop there. This is bigger than what SPECTRE would try in a James Bond movie. It is the Devil. We as Christians must not take our eye off the ball. We must acknowledge the enemy and not be distracted by the puppet of the day.

Republicans and Democrats voted 93-7 to strip Americans of their rights under the new defense bill AND legalized beastilaity among the troops...

It is not man doing this on his own, the Devil is making his final push.

He loses. God wins. It is an ugly and bloody road along the way.

Pray and serve God while there is time.

Stephen said “…What the people on this blog
DO NOT see is that AS MUCH AS
they want the market to crash
and Jesus to return soon.... it will NOT HAPPEN until it
is time. The market will follow
the WAVE COUNTS it is destined to
follow. no matter what …"

“As much as they WANT TO SEE THE MARKET CRASH”?

WHERE did you get this idea from Stephen? Because you are WRONG!

WE are wanting, waiting, longing and praying for the IMMINENT return of our Lord and Saviour, our beloved bridegroom, Jesus Christ, to take His Church/Body/Bride to Himself and save us from the WRATH that is coming upon earth..

There are NO prophecies for the imminent Rapture to look for – none whatsoever!

The shed blood of Jesus Christ atones for ALL sin IF we believe IN Him to save us from sin and give us the free gift of Salvation with eternal life.
At the imminent Rapture, the ONLY ones who will rise are those made clean and righteous by His substitutionary death on the cross to pay the penalty of sin that cost Jesus His own life blood.

Stephen! Have YOU put your trust in Jesus to save you?

You may love him, go to church, read and enjoy the Bible, even worship God YET STILL BE DEAD IN YOUR SIN.

There is only ONE condition to be saved and it involves an act of your own will called FAITH.

BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND YOU WILL BE SAVED.

Have you put you faith in Jesus Christ to cleanse you from sin?
Stephen! Have you been washed clean from sin by FAITH in The BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST, His death AND His resurrection from the dead and ascension to heaven?

If you haven’t, it’s nearly too late, look to Jesus, trust Jesus, to save you not by your good works, but by Grace alone and faith alone.
Maranatha! Jesus is coming, don't get left behind Stephen.

Yes indeed Stephen, you are correct.
ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but most here are sinners CLEANSED by the Blood of Christ. Jesus took our unrighteousness upon Himself, and gave us, in exchange, His own righteousness. So although we are born again with a new human spirit, we still sin if we allow the old sin nature to dominate us. When we do this, we separate ourselves from the FELLOWSHIP of our Heavenly Father and as a result of unconfessed sin, the Father will not hear us and bless us. 1John 1:9

However you are wrong about judging. We are not to judge the persons standing with God, but we MUST judge what they say and discern Biblically truth from error. This is what we are doing with you Stephen; judging your WORDS which are not of God.

What does it profit a man if he gains the WHOLE world, but loses his soul in hell.

You recognise that you are a sinner, have you now put your faith in Jesus to save you from the penalty of sin?

If you haven’t done that ONE act – then you are not born again of the Spirit of God and you will perish in hell along with your Elliot Wave and whatever wealth you may gain.

Please answer my question Stephen. Have you put your faith in Jesus’ as your substitute on the cross, His death and His resurrection from the dead. He ascended bodily into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God on His heavenly throne.

Stephen, we want to make certain you are Biblically saved. Your good works will not save you.

BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved – from sin and receive the free gift of eternal life.

I've been thinking along the same lines - but to answer both questions - yes - it is becoming overwhelming, which is a reflection of the sheer volume of news coming out now - news pertinent to our "watching"....I barely have time these days to get thru the news..

I'm considering the weekends for more commentary, and additionally, we have this situation:

Much of the news (like birth pains) - is simply an escalation of all the signs that we have been watching. Sometimes commentary around these news articles becomes redundant, and I would hate for my commentary to become redundant.

for instance, take Iran....We already all know the implications of any conflict between Israel (or the US) and Iran...So when we see increasing tensions with Iran, there isn't a whole lot more to add to that in terms of commentary.

I guess my fear is to become redundant with commentary - but I hear what you are saying and I tend to agree :)

Stephen, you're not looking at the picture in its entirety. The Greece, Italy and Spain bond yields are UP this morning. Gold, silver . . .UP.

I've thought, all this time, you were wrapped up in the markets so tightly, because you were viewing it as a sign of imminent rapture. But of course the rapture can happen at any given moment because there simply aren't ANY signs. But now, I see . . .you appear to be using information gleaned here, weighing it against your charts and playing the market. That's NOT the purpose of this forum.

My interpretation of God's word is, once saved, always saved. Therefore, it would be presumptuous of me to say, based on current outward signs you've placed all your faith in the markets rather in Jesus Christ, you must never have been saved . . .but I do think at the moment, Stephen, you've "strayed off the reservation".

There's nothing wrong with investing . . .in fact, I think the parable of the Talents illustrates that. But money was never meant to replace Jesus Christ and the markets were never meant to replace Faith. We all need to ask ourselves, from time to time, if we're misplacing our faith and trust.

Robin, I always appreciate your comments.

Stephen, no one here hates you. Please don't consider a biblical rebuke as anything but love and concern for you brother. God Bless.

Robin said...

Stephen, as Christians, I can confidently say no one here "hates" you. In fact, you are our brother. We need to be able to speak to one another in love when necessary.

Gal. 6:1-2

1 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

1 Thes 5:11

11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

If you've found anything anyone has said to be less than gentle, kindly point it out. We can all learn much from each other. But remember, we're all one body in Christ . . .and each has something valuable to share.

Thank you, wvborn . . .I appreciate yours as well

Okay everyone...It's time we moved on from Stephen. It's never a bad thing when trying to reach someone but enough is enough. I'm getting tired of the blog being taken up by Stephen. Scott I know you don't like to do this but can you block him from posting? That would save you having to delete his post everytime. I mean here we are so close to the Rapture and we are spending too much precious time on him. At some point we have to stop the bleeding.

Just a thought.

Stephen can make me laugh, like the post above.

He is free to post about prophecy or in building up his brothers and sisters as we await the coming. This isn't a financial board and I don't want that to become the focus whether in comments or otherwise. It isn't about stephen per say, but his content. And of course it isn't anything personal.

We just need to move on and focus on prophecy, hence the name of the blog "ProphecyUpdate". :)

Scott said...

Hi James,

For now, I'll just delete any posts dealing with the market etc and/or anything intentionally inflammatory. Prophecy related posts and comments to build each other up are welcome.

Hello Scott

I am so glad you haven't taken this to heart, I felt sure you wouldn't take it on board or treat it seriously. Good for you.

I was 'cursed' tother day - no problems, I had to smile. These things come out of confusion and a pique of anger and is best left with Jesus, and trust Him to help the troubled one as only He can.

God bless you.
Maranatha!

Christ's return is NOT imminent !

by Bruce Rockwell

(Pretrib rapturists claim that Christ's return is imminent, that is, capable of occurring at any moment. Theologian and pastor Norman MacPherson, in his excellent book "Triumph Through Tribulation," offers proof that the Bible has never taught an any-moment return of Christ. Here are the points brought out and discussed at length by MacPherson:)

1. Great Commission fulfillment implies a long period of time.
2. Seed growth in Matthew 13 is a time-consuming process.
3. Paul expected death, not rapture, in II Timothy 4:6-8.
4. Jesus predicted Peter's martyrdom in John 21:18-19.
5. Matthew 24 teaches that signs must come first.
6. Many passages speak of a large interval between Christ's ascension and return: Jewish dispersion into "all nations" (Luke 21); "man travelling into a far country," "after a long time the lord of those servants cometh" (Matthew 25).
7. Apostasy of last days takes time to develop.
8. Bridegroom tarried in parable of virgins.
9. Pastoral epistles teach Church's continuing ministry, which involves time.
10. Paul says Christ's coming is not imminent (II Thessalonians 2:1-3), for apostasy and Antichrist must come first.
11. View of seven phases of church history (seven churches of Revelation) involves big lapse of time and imminence difficulties for pre-tribs; could Christ have come before the last phase?
12. Exhortations to watch and be ready are tied to what pre-trib teachers regard as the second stage (which is necessarily non-imminent) in Matthew 24 and 25, I Corinthians 1:7, Colossians 3:4, I Thessalonians 3:13, II Thessalonians 1:7-10, I Peter 1:13 and 4:13, and I John 2:28.

(How can an "imminent" return of Christ have a greater practical effect on us than the indwelling of the Holy Spirit already has, or should have, on us? For more on pretrib beliefs and history, Google "Pretrib Rapture - Hidden Facts," "Pretrib Rapture Secrecy," "Pretrib Rapture Diehards," "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty," "Roots of Warlike Christian Zionism," "Letter from Mrs. Billy Graham," and - with the 2012 election in mind - "Pretrib Rapture Politics.")
