Iran Finds Alternative Route to Nukes:

Just when it appeared that the "cyber-worm" had thwarted Iran's nuclear ambitions - at least for a while - it looks like Iran has found another route to manufacturing nuclear weapons:

Iran claims full control over making nuclear fuel

Iran claimed Sunday it could now use domestically mined uranium to produce nuclear fuel, giving the country complete control over a process the West suspects is geared toward producing weapons.

Tehran made the claim a day before a new round of nuclear talks with world powers that want to rein in Iran's uranium enrichment — a process that can be used either to make fuel for nuclear energy or nuclear weapons.

The nuclear chief said Iran had for the first time delivered domestically mined raw uranium to a processing facility — allowing it to bypass UN sanctions prohibiting import of the material. Four rounds of UN sanctions have targeted Iran's uranium enrichment program.

Nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi said the uranium ore concentrate, known as yellowcake, was produced at the Gachin uranium mine in southern Iran and delivered to the uranium conversion facility in the central city of Isfahan for reprocessing.

Salehi, who is also the country's vice president, said the step meant Iran was now self-sufficient over the entire nuclear fuel cycle — from extracting uranium ore to enriching it and producing nuclear fuel.

He added that the message to those meeting with Iran in Geneva on Monday and Tuesday was that they cannot stop Iran's nuclear work.

In October, Salehi said nuclear experts have discovered larger uranium reserves than previously thought at Gachin and were stepping up exploration of the ore.

Uranium enriched to low grades is used for fuel in nuclear reactors, but further enrichment makes it suitable for atomic bombs.

Who knows where this most recent development is headed. We do know from biblical prophecy that Israel will not be destroyed via any means and that includes nuclear warfare, so if Iran does indeed develop nukes, they won't be used against Israel.

But that thought process opens many possibilities:

- Will israel attack these facilities and end the threat in that manner? If so, such actions by Israel would most certainly ignite the entire region, presumably leading into the epic battle of Gog-MaGog.

- Will the Middle East wars including Psalm 83-Isaiah 17, and Ezekiel 38-39 (Gog-MaGog) occur before Iran reaches the stage of actually manufacturing a nuclear weapon?

- Will a failed attempt to send a nuclear missile to Israel accidentally or through Israeli diversion, actually end up in detonating in Damascus, thus fulfilling Isaiah 17?

Either way, it seems that Iran's ambitions to create a nuclear weapon (for the express purpose of destroying Israel) will somehow play a role in our known prophetic scenarios, as expected in the Middle East. How and why this could occur is largely unknown at this point in history - but the whole situation is coming to a head - sooner rather than later.

In fact - the entire scenario around Iran and their nuclear quest and what Israel may do in response - already seems to be on "borrowed time" as we watch these developments.

are these claims from iran accurate? i think the answer to your first question is yes and the answer to your second question is maybe. perhaps the prophetic clock is ticking again. by the way it has been speculated by some that isa 17 (damascus) is more connected with ezekiel 38&39 than psalm 83. personally i disagree. xept that syria is tighter with iran than lebanon but i still disagree.

I believe all three scenarios are intertwined - or connected as it were. In fact, to be honest, it might be arbitrary to try and separate these three events from each other. I believe all three will cascade in sequence and in rapid order.
