Generals demand a "tough show" of power from Putin: They recommend striking a mercenary center in Ukraine with nuclear missiles

Russia's "Hawks" suggested to B. Putin to proceed with a "tough demonstration" of the country's nuclear capabilities.

How; Dropping a small nuclear bomb on a mercenary center in Ukraine.

The information is relayed by several Russian military sources who state that " it's time for a hard lesson for the West".

The Generals asked Putin to give some time to evacuate civilians within a radius of several kilometers before the tactical nuclear bomb is dropped.

What is this area? There are two pieces of information, one in Western Ukraine and one in Donetsk as unbelievable as it sounds.

A specific area in Donetsk with a large concentration of mercenaries has been identified.

In that case, Moscow could hit the mercenary concentrations with 2S4 Tyulpan 240 mm and 2S7 203 mm Pion mortars which constitute the Russian tactical nuclear reserve.

Of the guns now in use in the Russian military, the 2S19 Msta, 2S3 Akatsiya and 2S5 Giatsint-S can theoretically use the 152 mm 3BV3 nuclear projectile. The 3BV3 nuclear missile has an explosive equivalent of 0.7 kilotons of TNT and a range of about 18 km.

Although this goal is not highly likely, we have to admit that it is disturbing that it fell on the table of discussions and understand the reasoning of the Russian leadership.

Nuclear escalation without tangible results will backfire on Russia . It will not discourage the West and NATO will take it as a "bluff". This will result in all Moscow red lines being broken in the future. And Putin will then really be forced to use nuclear weapons either because he will have no other choice or because of a miscalculation by NATO.

Let's look at the entire Russian rationale as expressed by Russian analysts:

"There is a high probability that the flight of a MiG-31 even with a Kinzhal nuclear warhead will not impress the West.

Because the limit of pain, so to speak, will not be exceeded. And without pain, the West will not get the message.

And the Russian Armed Forces have many options for how to inflict this pain (not necessarily physical) on the enemy during nuclear exercises.

Russia must disrupt NATO's escalation methodology in Ukraine.

For Western officials and NATO's military command, it is of fundamental importance what kind of exercises Russia will conduct. If these are simple exercises, then NATO will escalate again with arms and troop deployments.

If a very specific result does not appear from the Russian nuclear exercises then NATO will attempt to "break" any Moscow red line in the future, at first in small steps and in the future it will attempt to exceed it.

Military exercises with tactical nuclear weapons should definitely discourage NATO into realizing that it will find itself in immediate nuclear war.

Through the nuclear exercises, Russia wants to send the message to the West that "everyone who is preparing for a conventional battle is wrong. Russia will routinely use nuclear weapons with limited and predetermined impact zones to eliminate troop and weapons concentrations without firing a single conventional missile."

The same sources recall what Putin once said on this subject.

N. Peskov, emphasized that the statements of representatives of the collective West require a responsible, immediate and effective response from the Russian side.

"These are unprecedented statements from the West that require a quick response," said Dmitry Peskov

On the same wavelength and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In a new announcement, he says that the upcoming exercises in the Southern Military District to test the use of tactical nuclear weapons are directly related to the belligerent statements of the French President and the head of the British Foreign Office.

The press release of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasizes that the exercises using tactical nuclear weapons will be a response to pressure from the West on Russia. The ministry recalled that protecting Russia's sovereignty and territorial integrity is a political and military priority, including the aspect of nuclear deterrence.

"We hope that this exercise will calm the "hotheads" in the Western capitals, help them understand the possible catastrophic consequences of the strategic risks they create, prevent them from helping the Kiev regime in its terrorist actions and not be drawn into immediate armed confrontation with Russia,"  the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
