In The News: Friday

As we watch developments in the Middle East it is easy to forget the revived Roman Empire:

Europe Has Another Big Crisis, And It's Much Bigger Than Sovereign Debt

Just as we prophecy watchers would predict:

The European continent has for decades since the end of the Second World War struggled to create a transnational identity, the fulfillment of a dream to end military conflict between continental superpowers like France and Germany that has plagued it for centuries. However, that identity – and the institutions like the EU and the ECB that embody it – has come at a great price. Voters in euro area member states have found that they are able to exercise less and less control over their own governance at the ballot box. In short, democracy is in crisis.

Now, Europe is at a historic crossroads, brought about by the disastrous implementation of the euro – it must either cede even more power to the supranational level, where voters aren't represented by elected officials, or face the fallout in financial markets.

We can only talk of developed democracy when there is a separation of powers...In the EU, however, the division of powers has been done away with. The parliament is certainly elected, but has no right to initiate legislation (or now, after Lisbon, only through the back door): only the Commission has the right to initiate legislation...But the Commission is the institution in which, in the end, democratic legitimation is annulled: here an apparatus is at work which is not elected and cannot be voted out and which has abolished the separation of powers...In terms of democratic politics, therefore, this triad of Parliament, Council and Commission produces a black hole into which what we used to understand as democracy disappears.

The first pillar of the new master plan for the euro is banking union, which elevates regulation of the financial system to the supranational level

The second pillar is fiscal union, which relegates sovereignty over matters of national budgets to the EU

The third pillar, economic union, ensures that the EU has more say in harmonizing structural reforms pursued by member states

Then, there is political union – an homage to democracy

And all of this power transfer to the center is of the utmost urgency

Read the rest of the article above and it is truly revealing. The EU (aka revived Roman Empire) is moving rapidly away from any resemblance of democracy and moving closer and closer to the totalitarian form of government which will pave the road for the antichrist to seize absolute power.

Thousands Across Greece Protest Austerity Measures

Millions across Greece are participating in a mass 24-hour strike in a bid to convince politicians to let up on the latest round of crippling austerity measures.
In Athens over 25,000 demonstrators took part in anti-austerity rally. In the country`s second largest city, Thessaloniki, some 17,000 marched to protest the cuts.
The strike has led to grounded flights, closed hospitals and the mass shut-down of public services throughout the country.
The Greek government is planning to introduce a new round of belt-tightening cuts, focusing on the public sector for 2013-14. They aim to qualify for a new bailout package of around 31 billion euro ($40 billion) to keep the country afloat for the time being.

A member of the Russian State Duma Yevgeny Fyodorov shared his vision of the current situation in the world with Pravda.Ru. He believes that the United States is preparing the grounds for starting World War III. Their plan is to combine all local conflicts together. The United States, when speaking about the fight against terrorism, in fact relies on extremism and terrorism.

The next part of the script is launching a global fire, unleashing a world war, uniting local conflicts into a singlesystem of instability. For this we need to dramatically increase funding for terrorism.
We now see that the United States has dramatically increased the funding of terrorism around the world. The Americans will now act indiscriminately, that is, without consideration of whether they are giving to allies or not allies, friends or not friends.
That is, to implement the American idea, they will need a full rise of extremism in the world. The United States will continue with this plan. The growth and rise of extremism is part of the course towards World War III that the Americans need.

Non-naturally occurring radionuclides from the Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear power plant’s triple meltdown last year radioactively contaminated the entire northern hemisphere within days and the US west coast bore a significant brunt of so called hot particles, an independent scientific paper released yesterday claims.
The massive release of anthropogenic – or non-naturally occurring radionuclides such as cesium 137 and cesium 134 – by the meltdowns and explosions that rocked Fukushima Daiichi occurred in the five days following the beginning of the accident, the report says.Simulations of potential dispersion of the radiation cloud conducted by Weather Online Website in the UK showed that air masses were eastwardly displaced from Fukushima after the accident, which put it on a collision course with the US West Coast.

A report from March published by the Journal Environmental Science and Technology said the Fukushima radiation plume hit California “with greatest exposure in central and southern California.”It also noted that Southern California’s seaweed tested over 500 percent higher for radioactive iodine-131 than anywhere else in the US and Canada.News reports from March indicate that radioactive debris is likewise finding its way to US Pacific shores.According to Seattle oceanographer Curtis Ebbesmeyer, some 20 million tons of debris has begun to make landfall in the US Pacific Northwest, and he is concerned the debris will bring toxic or radioactive contamination from Japan.“We are not prepared for this. Nobody is prepared. Nobody has even thought through the dimensions,” Ebbesmeyer told AFP. This is unprecedented in scientific history. “[…] There’s never been a devastation on one continent that has moved off to the other continent and actually recorded.”

Cyber attacks on U.S. banks continued this week from suspected hackers believed to be supported by the Iranian government, according to U.S. officials.
Attacks on Capital One Financial Corp. and BB&T Corp. occurred on Tuesday and Wednesday. U.S. and banking officials described them as denial of service strikes preventing customers from accessing their information from banking websites.
American officials said earlier this week that attacks on U.S banks and oil companies in Saudi Arabia and Qatar over the past several months were believed to be carried out by surrogates supported by the Iranian government.
"There is a continuing stream of Iranian behavior ... these (attacks) have the hallmarks of Iranian cyber misbehavior," one U.S. official told Security Clearance.
Another official said the number of incidents targeting the banking industry have picked up in recent weeks.

I have been doing a lot of thinking since I have been coming here. So much of our day to day focus is on Israel and Iran, and rightfully so. Israel is the center of the worlds attention. It's where it all goes down, but what are we missing? What are we overlooking? Maybe nothing, but I can't help but wonder whats coming here? What are we getting ready to face? What big event will happen to signal the rapture of the church? I wanted to leave you with this thought. The DHS is obtaining ammo at an alarming rate. And not just any ammo, ammo that is paramilitary in nature, specific in nature. What about the mass stockpiling of the plastic FEMA coffins? and the FEMA camps throughout the US? These things just can't be written off as insignificant. Why would someone have a reason for any of it? After all we are a country of civility, aren't we? The majority of us have a respect for the laws of the land and act accordingly. So why, when, and how will these things come in to play?
I think Ahmadinejad was correct when he said that the U.S. and it's trillion dollar deficit will collapse, and cease to be a world super power. The Bible doesn't mention the US in the end times, could this be why? Or maybe the majority have been raptured.

I also think we are getting a glimpse of what may happen to cause civil uprising in the US. Think about what every American citizen has, or the majority have. Checking accounts, saving accounts, retirement accounts, 401K's and so on. Now look at the news reports that indicate cyber attacks on major US banks that have already been occurring. What if these cyber attacks wiped out every bank account and every retirement account of every person, with no way to recover anyone's losses? Think that would cause an uprising? Think everyday citizens would be ticked off? Then someone comes up with the brilliant plan to micro chip every person with their medical and banking information, whereby no one would be able to buy or sell without it. Think it's far fetched, or could it be a reality that is just around the corner

Just a thought,
David

wow David..all of that fits like a puzzle. That is scary..what should we do? Even though I fully expect to be raptured, this could happen
prior to that. We should all pray about this.

For 2 long years, I pieced together so much scary info. Dave, you are scarcely scraping the surface. That is how I found this site. Lol. Satan almost destroyed me with all this negative info. Scott and all here have talked me down one more than one occasion! Lol
Look Jesus said there would be perilous times like never before or after! And I think we are just starting to see what that really means.
Basically we either trust God our we don't. Its much easier when you step into just trusting him. Yeah, I struggle constantly with my mind and emotions, habits, and lately physical health but you just have to trust him! Even if it makes no sense as to why a lit if times. Somethings will remain a mystery. At least on this side.
And tho I should close with a Biblical quote, you will get a Carl Jung quite instead. Lol. But boy, its one that had stick with me both saved and unsaved. "Bidden or not bidden, God is present". Always present, always large, and always in charge!
And yes, we ned to be praying constantly!

Hi guys, The debt is crushing and neither party can cut the necessary spending even if that was a possible fix. (see Greece)

The stage is completely set on the economic front and the two end time battles, Isaiah 17 and Ezekiel 39 appear to be at the door. We are just waiting for the final tipping point and I am convinced it will be the rapture.

Jesus said he would be coming back as in the Days of Noah, when people were eating and drinking and giving in marriage. From that statement we know it will be business as usual when he comes back for the bride. The days of business as usual are living on borrowed time.

The perfect storm is just about completely formed the way I am seeing things. The stage is set.

Jesus said, "When you see these things begin to take place, look up, your redemption is drawing near."

I'm not really at all concerned Jesus will be coming for his bride most likely before Gog-Magog and certainly before the horrible economic collapse coming because we are long gone before Revelation chapter 6 arrives.

I agree WV. I'm not worried either. Its more along the lines of anticipatory excitement. I'm so ready to be transformed. Still its hard not to wonder about what is about to take place either before or after our departure. I feel sure Israel will hit Iran before long. And none of this only nuclear suspected sites as our president has eluded to. Israel has to hit everything she can, with all the artillery pointed her way. My only worry, is for those that are lost.

It's almost amazing how much prophecy makes one believe even more in God's word. I think I've gotten closer to God the more I see the prophecies coming true than ever. Hopefully more lost people will see them happening and be saved.

You know, with Israel letting all this time slip by & still hasn't moved on attacking Iran, it looks more & more like they are waiting to see if Romney wins the election. And once Israel makes her move, will use an EMP to deal with the nuclear threat from Iran, since its probably the most logical way to disable their nukes. So would seem likely how Russia & Iran's other allies will treat us, in kind? Can you imagine this whole nation suddenly without power? Kinda boggles the mind. Could that be what the DHS is expecting to use all those bullets & FEMA camps & caskets for? Hmmm. By the grace of God, we who trust in the name of Jesus won't be here to find out!

Good morning, everyone. I just had to "wade in" regarding Ally's quote from Jung. I noticed several of you were offended by it, but I sincerely doubt that Ally said it except in the most positive way. Jung may not have been speaking of Jehovah, but I am quite sure that Ally was. Her quote really helped me yesterday when I needed to be reminded that our God IS always there, whether we know it or not. He's also always in control of this crazy temporary home we live in.

Ally has such a sweet spirit. I'm sure she didn't mean anything other than God (Jehovah) is always with us and always in control. She is going through so much right now. Don't you think our Heavenly Father would rather us lifting her up in prayer rather than bringing her down with unwarranted criticism? I mean no disrespect to any of you. Sometimes we get tunnel vision and need help seeing the whole picture.

Much love to you all. I pray that you all have a most blessed week-end.

Good Morning All~

With us only off moderation for a few days it is amazing to be to witness the obvious patterns that lay before us. My heart goes out to those true posters who are not guilty of this, but my heart is heavy knowing who is really doing it and the farce that they continue to portray, in spite of the many warnings. In seeing this, please know you who are guilty of this, are not getting away with anything, but are serving to help address this in the long run, the proper way. For those who wish to know who it is etc. as previously stated in many posts, this will not come to pass but through the proper channels of authority. Keep doing God's will and you will not go wrong.

What can you do if you are unsure? Use discernment with the help of the HS. Share the truth of God's word in its proper God given, God breathed, God approved format. Let us not add to it nor take away from it in these last hours and days. This isn't about our lovely jokesters but about a purpose God has for all his children not to perish without knowing about his wonderful gift of salvation. I would say instead of playing games on a computer, how about going out and witnessing to the lost? Now that is something we all can make time to do as we will be accountable as to how these last hours where spent prior to returning home. That is where our excitement should be :)

Let us look at how these posts take the focus of Gods will for our lives by spending more time in the false laying of information, only to allow it to be a segway into daily dissension. God knows the true heart of the poster s through all of this, nothing, absolutely nothing is getting past him or Scott at this point.

To the rest of us who desire to humbly share and learn in these last hours all that Gods word says about these events that are unfolding; Let us not get caught up in a battle with the serpent right now. Right now in many scenarios in our day to day lives the serpent is among us speaking with a forked tongue. Let us strive to speak by only those things are HS driven and God approved, those things that serve him, not us.

Because it is so easy for everyone to speak before thinking, I am going to post next some great food for thought. In the meantime, let us strive for peace, all signs of peace (clean, dirty, tie-dye shirts and all) and work together in fellowship to expound loving on God's word in these last days/ hours. Not use it as a weapon with a cruel heart and more importantly, take those words and speak it with a forked tongue to play a cruel mind game of chess. Caution needs to also be given to helping those off this forum that you may not know. There are many imposter(s) right now and this can prove to be more dangerous than previously thought.

God Bless and have a great weekend!!

Sins of the Tongue

http://www.biblebelievers.com/jmelton/SinsofTongue.html

Much can be said of a person's character by the way they use their tongue. Sanaca once said, "Speech is the index of the mind." Jesus said that "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." (Mat. 12:34) According to Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." In James 3:6, the Bible says that the tongue is "a fire, a world of iniquity", and James 3:8 calls the tongue a "deadly poison."

As a fool would carelessly play and prank with a loaded gun, so many Christians today do likewise with their deadly tongue. If only we could fully realize the untold damage that we are doing to the body of Christ! If only we could see the full effect of the words we use!

Perhaps a closer look into the Bible can help. God made man, and God made man's tongue, so surely God should be qualified to comment on the subject. Surely God should have some good counsel concerning the use and misuse of the human tongue. Let us consider some sins of the tongue as we find them revealed in God's word.

The Lying Tongue

Proverbs 25:18 says, "A man that beareth false witness against his neighbour is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow." So a lying tongue is a misuse of a deadly weapon. It can be used to harm others near at hand (a maul), a few feet away (a sword), or a great distance away (an arrow). Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), and God said that he hates a lying tongue (Pro. 6:17). All liars will have their part in the lake of fire, according to Revelation 21:8.

The Flattering Tongue
Flattery is also a sin of the tongue. The Bible speaks of flattery as a characteristic of the wicked, not the righteous: "For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue." (Psalm 5:9) Imagine the improvements which could be made in our nation if voters elected leaders on the basis of the RECORD rather than on the basis of the flattering speeches! Flattery is just a form of lying, and it has no place in the life of a Christian.

The Proud Tongue

The Bible also speaks of the proud tongue. Psalm 12:3-4 says, "The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things: Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?" The most annoying Christians in the world are those with proud tongues because a proud tongue usually comes with two closed ears! Proud- tongued Christians are generally so full of themselves that they learn very little from anyone else. A proud-tongued Christian will talk much of his knowledge and service, but very little about the Lord.
In a church, a proud-tongued Christian will make all sorts of suggestions about how the church should function, yet his suggestions, if received, will place burdens on everyone but himself. A proud- tongued Christian is hard to teach or reason with because he thinks he knows everything.

Friend, God hates a proud tongue. Allow the Holy Spirit to use your tongue in the way of humility and kindness because pride will only quench God's Spirit and damage your testimony.

The Overused Tongue

Some people sin by simply overusing their tongue. Ecclesiastes 5:3 says that "a fool's voice is known by multitude of words." People think they appear smart by much talking, but the Bible states just the opposite. Ecclesiastes 5:2 says, "Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few." God doesn't like a blabber mouth. You say, "Well, that's just the way I am!" Then REPENT! Confess your sin and repent. Stop justifying your wickedness and ask God to help you repent.

The Swift Tongue

Some people are guilty of speaking too swiftly when they really need to wait before saying anything. God's word says the following in Proverbs 18:13: "He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him." How many times have you had to "eat" your words because you spoke too swiftly? James 1:19 warns us to be swift to HEAR and SLOW to speak. Why do you suppose God gave us two ears but only one mouth?

The Backbiting Tongue

Proverbs 25:23 and Romans 1:30 make mention of a backbiting tongue. A backbiter is someone who uses their tongue against you when you aren't present, yet they will not face you with their charges when you are present. This is a cowardly backbiter who would rather stir up problems than solve problems.

A backbiter would much rather talk ABOUT the preacher than talk TO the preacher. A backbiter would much rather talk ABOUT some weak Christian in the church than offer some words of encouragement TO them. A backbiter is of no use to anyone, and no one has ever been strengthened or edified through backbiting. Beware of the backbiters, especially the ones who sow discord among brethren (Pro. 6:19)!

The Talebearing Tongue

Proverbs 18:8 says, "The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly." Leviticus 19:16 says, "Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people. . ." Every Christian has the duty to deny his own desires and seek to edify other Christians (Rom. 14:19; Philip. 2:3). Talebearing runs wholly contrary to Christian edification. Talebearing (carrying and telling tales) spreads all sorts of hurtful information around, and Satan uses such information to hinder and tear down God's work. A victim of talebearing, according to Proverbs, is a "wounded" person. God forbid that a Christian should wound another Christian, but it does happen all the time! Some Christians live as though they think God has "called" them to bear tales on other Christians. Many "Christian" newsletters are dedicated to informing the body of Christ on the latest news about someone's ministry or personal life. There are many nice words and phrases used to justify such conduct, but the Bible word is TALEBEARING.

The Cursing Tongue

Some people, Christians included, have a nasty habit of using their tongue for cursing. Romans 3:13-14 says, "Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness." This passage deals strictly with unsaved people and their ungodly ways, yet there are a great many professing Christians who curse regularly. Friend, why would you want to identify yourself with someone whom God describes as being DEAD, DECEITFUL, and POISON?

"As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him. As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones."(Psalm 109:17-18) Many people curse because their life is miserable. They are unhappy so they make it known with their degenerate speech. This text says that God keeps them unhappy BECAUSE of their speech! God curses those who curse! Christian, don't expect God's blessings when your mouth is filled with cursing.

GG said...

The Piercing Tongue

Another sinful tongue is the piercing tongue. Proverbs 12:18 speaks of this tongue by saying, "There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health." Some people have a sharp piercing tongue which Satan uses to offend and insult others. The Bible commands Christians to have their speech dominated by GRACE (Col. 4:6), yet most churches have a few people who use their tongue like a sword to pierce their brethren in Christ.

It was Teddy Roosevelt who said, "Speak softly and carry a big stick," but the truth is that if you speak softly you won't need a big stick! Titus 2:8 commands us to use sound speech which cannot be condemned. Friend, do you use graceful speech which cannot be evil spoken of, or do you possess a piercing tongue? Every Christian's prayer should be, "Lord, make my words gracious and tender, for tomorrow I may have to eat them."

GG said...

The Silent Tongue

A silent tongue is also a sinful tongue because we have been commanded to speak up and witness for the Lord Jesus Christ. In Acts 1:8, Jesus said, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." We, as Christians, have an obligation to tell others about the saving grace of Jesus. To be silent about Christ is to sin against Christ. Jesus said, "Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." (Mark 8:38) Christian friend, if you do not want to be ashamed of yourself when the Lord returns, then don't be ashamed of Jesus today. Pray for opportunities to speak up for your Saviour. Don't be found guilty of having a silent tongue.

"For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body." (James 3:2)
