Middle East Chaos

Police Prepare For Riots In Jerusalem Amid ME Turmoil

Police are preparing for possible riots in Jerusalem on Friday after violent protests and unrest swept across the Arab world this week in response to the inflammatory Innocence of Muslims video.

Border Police and other patrol units will fan out across the Old City ahead of traditional Friday prayers.

Police have not announced restricted access to the Temple Mount ahead of the expected protests. Often if serious rioting is anticipated only men over age 40 are allowed to enter.

In a rare move, the US State Department also issued a travel warning for Jerusalem, urging American citizens to “defer nonessential travel and exercise caution.”

U.S. Braces For More Violence In Muslim World After Friday Prayers

The Obama administration was caught by surprise by the ferocity of the Sept. 11 attack against the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, which killed the ambassador and three other Americans. Now it is bracing for another potential eruption of violent demonstrations in parts of the Muslim world after Friday’s weekly prayers — traditionally a time of protest in the Middle East and North Africa.

Protesters gathered Friday morning for the third day near the American Embassy in Cairo, where the ruling Muslim Brotherhood had encouraged supporters to go out into the streets in protest at an anti-Islam video created by a Coptic Christian American.

Angry demonstrations over the video already have occurred in Egypt and Yemen, and officials theorize that well-armed Libyan extremists hijacked a similar protest in Benghazi, where several Libyan security guards also were killed. The US put all of its diplomatic missions abroad on high alert, and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton delivered an explicit denunciation of the video as the administration sought to preempt further turmoil at its embassies and consulates.

Israel Military, Security Forces On Alert For Anti-U.S. Palestinian And Israeli-Arab Riots

In the wake of the anti-US Islamist turbulence sweeping Arab capitals, Israel has posted additional military, police and security forces in the West Bank, opposite the Gaza Strip and among Israeli Arab communities following information received that all three are preparing to stage big anti-American protests Friday, Sept. 14, which could easily spill over into Israel.

Morsi, who has been invited to the White House at the end of this month, refrained from condemning the murder of four US diplomats in Libya or offering the Egyptian people’s condolences to the US for its loss. He also waited 24 hours before issuing a tepid statement against the militants who stormed the US embassy in Cairo. he made no mention of the black al Qaeda flags hoisted above the US embassy in Cairo after the Stars and Stripes was torn down. Instead, the Egyptian president instructed his embassy in Washington to prepare a suit against the film’s director. That was before he turned out embarrassingly to be an Egyptian Copt.

The way ahead is unclear for Washington as well as Jerusalem. The anti-US ferment in Arab capitals may just be starting. Its next directions and duration are still imponderable. Israel prepares to celebrate the New Year next week surrounded by extreme volatility among its neighbors.

Peace Deal With Egypt Is Empty

The murderous attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, Tuesday night, and attempts to attack other US embassies in the Arab world, including in Egypt, took former Israeli ambassador to Egypt Yitzhak Levanon back one year, when an Egyptian mob stormed the Israeli Embassy in Cairo, removing the flag from the building and ransacking the offices.

Levanon was not inside the embassy during the attack on September 9, 2011, he tells The Times of Israel at the sidelines of the World Summit on Counter-terrorism at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya. Following the mob assault, the entire embassy staff was evacuated to Israel aboard a military plane. The embassy was permanently shut, and no alternative embassy building has yet been opened.

“One year is long enough to wait,” says Levanon, who began his stint in Cairo in 2009 after serving as head of Israel’s delegation to the UN in Geneva and to Boston. He notes that Israel has proposed a number of alternative offices in Cairo, but the Egyptians are stalling in reopening the embassy. Israel must now pressure Egypt into implementing the peace accords, signed over three decades ago, he says.

Israel Urges World Boycott Of Ahmadinejad Speech To The UN

Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations called on world leaders Thursday to boycott Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s September 26 speech to the 67th General Assembly of the world body in New York.

“Any country that sits in during Ahmadinejad’s speech is in violation of the United Nations Charter,” which forbids member states from threatening other member states, Ambassador Ron Prosor told the Times of Israel on Thursday.

Netanyahu will arrive in New York on September 27. Despite conflicting reports, Israeli officials have said he will likely not meet with US President Barack Obama during the visit.

Netanyahu is expected to use his UN speech to call for ever harsher sanctions against Iran’s nuclear program.

Hailing "Blessed" 9/11 Attacks, Al-Zawahiri Tells Muslims To Exploit U.S. "Weakness" To Purify Their Countries

Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri on Thursday released an audio recording hailing the “blessed” September 11 terror attacks as “the greatest blow” America had ever suffered. He also asserted an Islamic duty to “liberate” every inch of Muslim lands, and called upon Muslims to “purify” their countries of corrupt leaders during what he termed a period of “American weakness.”

Muslims should “topple the western proxies” left in their countries “and especially the Saud clan and the gulf sheiks in the Arabian peninsula,” he declared.

Al-Zawahiri also urged Muslims to capture citizens of countries that fight Muslims in order to hold them as hostages and force the release of Muslim prisoners.

He also said the Islamic nation is capable of defeating the “Zionist-Crusader enterprise…in the heart of the Islamic world and especially in occupied Palestine, like it defeated this enterprise…in Iraq and Afghanistan, and like it managed to deliver the greatest blow in the history of America, on its own land, changing American history and destroying its economy.”

Embassies Around The World On High Alert

The Engineers Of "Leaderless" Arab Spring And Occupy Wall Street

The “occupying” protests here in America have been characterized as spontaneous and leaderless. Protesters, politicians, and the mass media have compared it to the so-called spontaneous uprisings of the Arab Spring. In reality, neither has been spontaneous nor leaderless. The Arab Spring was planned years ago and then executed by the forces of oppression that the people thought they were attempting to overthrow.

In an AFP article last April, Michael Posner, Assistant Secretary of State, admitted that the US trained 5000 activists last February from Egypt, Tunisia, Syria, and Lebanon. The goal was to provide the technology to circumvent government obstruction and help activists create a ripple effect by training their colleagues in the arts of government destabilization. Posner said our Federal government budgeted $50 million to develop new technologies to protect activists from arrest by authoritarian governments.

The campaign to destabilize the Middle East began much earlier, as geopolitical analyst Tony Cartalucci has repeatedly demonstrated.

Last May, Cartalucci wrote an article, America’s Arab Deception. He stated, “The Arab Spring was entirely engineered, prepared for, activists trained, funded, and equipped by the United States, years in advance, based on successes and experience garnered from decades of extraterritorial meddling.

In America, our protests appear leaderless, ill-defined, and uncoordinated. To mask the central planning, the protests began small in a few cities before the national rollout proceeded, a common tactic of most marketing schemes. These protests are not leaderless. And their well-defined agenda can be derived from those manipulating the leaderless mobs behind the scenes.

Last July, Adbusters Media Foundation announced they were organizing a street protest to occupy Wall St. Founded 1989 by Kalle Lasn and Bill Schmalz, this Canadian firm describes itself as “a global network of artists, activists, writers, pranksters, students, educators, and entrepreneurs who want to advance the new social activist movement of the information age.” They are anti- Capitalism, anti-consumerism, pro-environment, and pro-violence.

Adbusters is financed through its magazine subscriptions, but it also received grants the last ten years totaling $185,000 from the Tides Foundation, which is partly financed by the mastermind of financial destabilization, George Soros. Soros announced his sympathy for the protestors and has committed his organizational and financial resources.

Soros’ MoveOn.org has organized liberal protest movements in the past and urged its members to join the “occupying” protests. MoveOn.org has also promoted an Internet-based demonstration in conjunction with Rebuild the Dream, another radical group financed by Soros and led by Van Jones. Van Jones was President Obama’s former Green Jobs Czar, who resigned when his past extremism was exposed.

President Obama sowed the wind now he is reaping the whirlwind. He has no idea what he is doing. He thinks the Islamist militants are going to be his buddies. What he's not aware of is that they know he's only in power for at most another four years and then the militants have to face another pro Israel U.S. So the militants may as well cause as much havoc and mayhem as possible now as wait to see who's in power next.

So Obrazen was surprised with the ferocity of the attacks. What do you expect from someone who is meeting with hip-hop radio djs instead of minding the store. It was no different than Nero fiddling while Rome burned.

I don't have my Strongs Concordance handy, but wondering about the word "rebellion" in 2 Thess 2:3. Any chance that we are seeing it right now? Thoughts?

Would you say that the powder keg has started to burn? It hasn't blown, but it appears that it has started to burn.

I believe it is quite possible. We'll know in a week or two if this continues to escalate or not. I believe it will. Stay tuned!

Al Qaida sat on this film since July, waiting until September to use it to whip pawns into a frothy frenzy. I wonder just who would make such a film? Who stands to benefit? I keep coming right back to someone connected to the White House.

We've all thought something was likely to happen in Octobrr to cause Obama to declare Martial Law. And Al Qaida and their ilk know the only chance they have of obtaining a Palestinian State is through the lame duck term of a Demcrat President. And how convenient that according to the White House's own logs made public, Obama didn't attend a single Daily Security Briefing the entire week leading up to 9/11. This way, he can plead the case, he had no idea that Egypt Intelligence had alerted the US that our Embassies in the ME were at risk.

I fear all this will escalate into something catastrophic and he declares Martial Law or the nation rallies around him,
