Jordan On The Brink

Today may be one of the most significant, prophetically related news days in quite a while, and that is certainly saying a lot.

This first article really deserves a separate posting as it could be the most significant news in a long time (hard to imagine that isn't it?). This is significant because Jordan is the last "surrounding" (aka "inner circle") country who isn't actively seeking Israel's destruction. That is about to change, either through pressure on the existing political structure, or a regime change. It appears that Jordan has finally gotten caught up in the so-called "Arab Spring":

Jordan’s Muslim Brotherhood has given King Abdullah II notice that he has until October to bow to their demand to transform the Hashemite Kingdom into a constitutional monarchy or face Arab Spring street pressure for his abdication.
Israeli and Saudi intelligence watchers are becoming increasingly concerned about the approaching climax of the conflict in Amman between Islamists and the throne .

For Israel, an upheaval in Jordan bodes the tightening of the Islamist noose around its borders – Egypt and Libya to the south and Syria to the north, with unpredictable consequences with regard to Jordan’s Palestinian population.

Saudi Arabia, already threatened by Iranian aggression, fears the oil kingdom may be next in line if its northern neighbor is crushed under the marching feet of the “Arab Spring.”The oil kingdom’s royal rulers are reported to have belatedly woken up to the peril and are in a panic. They realize that their preoccupation with helping Syrian rebels overthrow Bashar Assad misdirected their attention from the enemies lurking at their own door. Thousands of articles in the Arab press in the past year have predicted that after the Muslim Brotherhood seizes power in Damascus, Amman would be next in its sights followed by Riyadh.

So, what are the options?

1.  He could bow to the main Muslim Brotherhood’s demand by submitting to the kingdom’s transition to a constitutional monarchy and the transfer of executive power to an MB-led government by means of the electoral reforms for which the Brothers have been pushing for years. In Jordan as in Egypt, the Brothers hope for a two-third majority in a free election.
2.  He could stand up to the Brotherhood’s demands and order his security, intelligence and military forces to crack down on the opposition. This course carries the risk of plunging Jordan into the carnage of civil war among the diverse segments of the population. The biggest dangers come from the Bedouin tribes, whose traditional allegiance to the Hashemite throne has weakened in recent years, and the Palestinians who form 60 percent of the population.
3. He could seek to negotiate a compromise through various brokers. Our sources report that several attempts at mediation have been ventured of late, but got nowhere because the Muslim Brotherhood sent its most radical leaders to the table and they left very little margin for compromise.

According to sources at the royal court, Abdullah will very soon meet with MB leaders for a personal appeal for calm after years of heated debate. Most observers believe that he has left it too late and by now the Muslim Brotherhood has got the bit between its teeth.Indeed, according to an internal memorandum leaked to the Al-Hayat newspaper, the MB has already set a date for mass demonstrations against the King to start on Oct. 10 and ordered its members to go to work at once to mobilize at least 50,000 demonstrators for daily protests against the king and the royal family until he bows to their will.

This evolving situation is worth watching very very closely as it potentially represents a huge development in the Middle East.

Now we quickly turn to the revived Roman Empire of the last days and see further prophetically related developments:

Today MEP (Member European Parliament) Nigel Farage warned King World News that “We are now entering the end game.”   Farage also cautioned “We are storing up these huge problems for our children and grandchildren.”  Farage also discussed gold, but first, here is what he had to say about the ongoing crisis:  “What is really happening here is the eurozone crisis is so serious, and so dire, public opinion across Europe is turning so quickly in every country against the project, that what they are trying to do is seal and complete the project before everybody really wakes up to what’s being done in their name.”

“That’s what they are about.  We are now entering the end game in what has been a 50 year political project.  This is all going to come to a very dramatic head over the course of the next two years....

When Nigel Farage speaks we should pay attention: He is one of the very few politicians world-wide who is speaking the truth and his voice reveals just how close we are to the Tribulation:

“The end game for them is to effectively abolish the nation states of Europe, to completely abolish any concept of national democracy, and to vest all power, all the attributes we associate with normal countries, that is all to be vested in this new European political class.
That imperial ambition has been there from the start, but up until now it has been hidden.  I have to say that as far as most of Europe is concerned,  I am quite pessimistic.  Despite the fact that we have these democratic rebellions taking place in the North, in so much of Europe the current status quo has the whip hand and is in control.  For most of Europe they will continue with this insane project, but there are countries that will free themselves from it.

The information above was just a small portion of this extraordinary interview with Farage.  He discussed the fragile banking system, the end game, gold, what type of chaos to expect going forward and much more.  The KWN audio interview with Nigel Farage is available now and you can listen to it by CLICKING HERE.

The news below is equally important today, for a variety of reasons. If you recall, a couple of years ago Russia went into Georgia, militarily, and gained control of part of that land. At the time, it was noteworthy because as we know from Ezekiel 38-39, the Russian led coalition will enter Israel from the far north and to do so, there needs to be a "land corridor". Seizing this corridor would require occupation of a land strip through Georgia.

Now this scenario is back in the news:

It could be déjà vu all over again – as a Russian-led security group is in the process of holding a series of military exercises for the first time in the South Caucasus in what may be a prelude to a military attack on the former Soviet republic of Georgia, next door

Russia has on the calendar a series of military exercises this month and next in cooperation with the Russian-led Collective Security Treaty Organization, or CSTO. The largest, called Kavkaz-2012, was held in Russia’s South Military District in southern Russia.

It was significant since it drew the attention of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, which has been in the process of conducting its own military exercises in Georgia reflecting scenarios that affect critical infrastructure.Nevertheless, the fact that NATO is conducting a military exercise in the Republic of Georgia has raised concerns with neighboring Russia.

Russia’s reaction and the fact that it’s conducting military exercises of its own are of particular concern to Georgia, which was the subject of a Russian invasion in August 2008 following a similar annual military exercise.
Georgia is in the South Caucasus and has continued to block a land corridor that the Russians need to reach their sole base in Armenia, where they intend to hold another CSTO military exercise.

The military exercise in Armenia also is significant, since it is the first CSTO exercise involving the countries of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan in the South Caucasus. Like NATO, the CSTO members are obliged to respond to any threat to its members.

Already, Georgian officials are sounding the alarm.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry claims that Russia is positioning large numbers of troops and military equipment in the Georgian breakaway provinces of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
The amassing of troops comes as Georgia prepares to hold parliamentary elections on Oct. 1.

Also in the news:

And last but certainly not least, we have Hal Lindsey's latest video update and it is well worth watching:

Is it just me, or do you also sit back and view the news and just shake your head at just how fast we are moving towards the very last days as foretold by God's prophets?

Im going to lift moderation for a while (probably today only) only because I think today's news is that significant and I'm not sure when I'll be able to moderate today - I don't want to stifle any comments.

If the usual person(s) show up in order to create controversy/strife - lets please just ignore until I have a chance to delete.

Many thanks - God Bless - we're really getting close to the end.

I can't tell you how much i love Nigel Farage . Soooo , We've watched Mario Monte a former Goldman Sachs employee replace "Silvi Berlusconi" after his "sex scandal"..We watched Greeces Prime minister Papandreou be replaced by Lucas Papademos (a former banker and ECB vice president.) We've watched Dominique Strauss Kahn (Head of the IMF) Be replaced by Christine Legard "After "raping" a cleaning woman in his NYC hotel (Bullshit) . Christine Legard wants to end the "exorbitant priviledge" of the dollar being the reserve currency of the world . Timothy Geitner (Secretary of treasury) agreed to this (its online google it) and admitted that we should have a SDR (Special Drawing Rights)and/or a basket of currencies . Timothy Geitner (current Secretary of treasury)is a former Goldman sachs employee . Prior to this we had Hank Paulson who of course worked for YOU guessed it Goldman Sachs , prior to this we had Robert Rubin , guess where he worked ? Goldman Sachs . Are you noticing a patern ? So lets throw in some more crazy talk ? Julian Assange head of Wikileaks ? Do you think he actually raped those women ? Beautiful timing huh ? Sherrif Joe Arpiao? Wasnt the timing of his battle with DC amazing ? Right when he was about to announce the birth certificate he got called out ? Andrew Breibarts death after announcing "big news about Obama" ? Just something to think about ?

Good Morning Scott! Wow-I'm wondering, since america has a recent history of throwing our dependable allies under the bus lately, if the Saudi's won't call in their "new" friends to help. China who they are paying 800 million dollars and half of all the oul that comes out of Saudi ground for the next 30 years in trade for nukes and a Chinese military base on Saudi turf.
The King of Jordan is very very smart. His mother was American, Queen Noor and he is a skilled diplomat. And don't forget, he is a direct descendant of mohammad which in the muslim world gives him a lotta clout with all branches of islam! A lotta people think he could be a possubility fir the ac position too. My the plot thickens!
And now I need everybody's opinion about something. The Holy Spirit is telling me that we as Christians need to corporate prayer bigtime. As in all of us need to pray the same thing on a certain day, so millions are asking God fir the same thing on that day. Let me know if that resonates with your spirit please (shhh, today pray for God to do his will in the m.e. And to close the ears of the u.n. And all persons to ahmedijinads words! )

Just wow. Like sitting in that movie that you can't take your attention away from for a second but too "beyond belief" to be able to truly identify with. Surreal, for sure.

Miss Alley, am feeling strong urge here to join in the national 40 days of prayer for God to heal this country. It starts on Sept 28 and continues through the election.

Brother Nathan,
Brother Scott does not allow profanity. Perhaps its not profane to you, kinda tucked into the middle of your post, hoping to be overlooked? We have recommended this site to many new Brothers and Sisters, and profanity makes this site no different than other secular sites. Would you talk like that in the presence of the Lord? Because He is here, and knows all that we say and do.. Please, try to refrain with the language, ok?

God Bless

Great posts today, Scott . . .i can almost feel it in the air.

I came across this story today . . .that from the outset, might appear innocuous. But according to global studies, there's going to be a sharp decrease in pork in 2013, due to drought and increased corn prices.

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-202_162-57519703/global-bacon-shortage-unavoidable-group-says/

I got to thinking about it . . .and really, only Christians and non believers eat pork. Jews and Muslims as do Hindus, abstain. If there were a sudden decrease in demand because Christians were suddenly gone . . . .

Some time ago, I came here to ask for prayers that my grown children would accept Christ. Thank you so much for the prayers. I just want to say . . .my middle daughter accepted Christ last Sunday. Furthermore, is so enthusiastic about her new life, is planning to become involved in her new church. Praise His Holy Name!

Robin,

That's wonderful news about your middle daughter. I can't think of anything more exciting than a loved one (or anyone) accepting the Lord. What great news.

God bless.

Congrats Robin. I know we have a lot of prayer warriors here and I am requesting prayer for my husband to receive Christ. He has turned away and wants nothing to do with "church" or the Word of God. Please let's also be in prayer for our men and women in the military. Wow....there is an electric "feeling" in the air that something big is coming. Does anyone else feel it? I kind of feel like a kid on Christmas eve.....:)

If Jordan goes down, the stage is set.

And, rockets from Syria "accidentally" landed on the Golan this morning.

Dear Robin,
So wonderful to hearabout your daughter. Really great news.

Ally, I am sorry to hear of this trouble for King Abdullah. I was a fan of his Dad as a peace maker.
I think Abdullah though is not Queen Noors son but from a previous marriage of King Hussein.
Jordan has been a buffer for Israel and now will face this radicalism like the other countries. Very sad.

Praying for your study WV.

I think the Holy Spirit is moving gathering the Gentiles ! Robin, like your daughter, my husband of 26 years accepted Jesus as his Savior this summer! This is the best kind of news! Let us keep praying for those who don't yet know the Lord!

Blessings! Maranatha!!

Yay Robin! How awesome! The prayer warriors here rock! God really moved quickly after people here prayed over my MRSA! Special thanks to Helen btw! Literally 3 hours after I requested prayer the infection was leaping out of my body (i would give more details but far to gross)
So Yep, these prayers avail much!
Caver-woohoo. Thank you for doing the 40 day fast and pray along with me. Lol I always feel like sych a loner. Giggle. Im not totally fasting, im thinking I might skip one meal a day andgo on a tongue fast. I need to learn to control that naughty little member a/d for me to be quiet, thats really giving something up!!! Waiting to hear from God on what to fast but if no heary, I will do above.
Mrs. C-cussing hmmm. This is one thing we differ on. I dont expect to change your position nor am I trying too. But hear me out. I equate cursing with cursing not cussing. So if said I curse your garden (like Jesus did to that ninbearing fig tree) thats cursing as in"placing a curse on something". Cussing, while some people arent too fond of it, doesnt bother me at all. Probably some, well actually a lot of it, your feelings towards it are from where you were raised, how you were raised etc. and who you hang out with or work with. Also how old you are. Example, when I was younger the phrase "screw you over" my mom thought it was terrible. She uses it now. The word is the same, nothing has changed with the wording. I dint consider it vulgarity at all. No one I know would think twice about using it even in a professional business setting. BS is pretty acceptable also. Ad are many others. Now I would advise someone to refrain from using that terminology if they were witnessing to to a 95 year old small town southern lady in a nursing home. However if you were witnessing to rock stars, dockwirkers, homeboys, gangmembers etc its so not an issue. Because frankly there are some groups whose vicabulary is so pitiful you can even find a word to substitute they can comprehend. :\ and Mrs.C, you and everybody else are pribably gonna really cringe but when I talk to Jesus, I just let it all hang out. I dont think he cares really when its just him and me. He hasnt let me know yet and ive asked him about it.
Now the Lords name in vain. No way I say that. And I try to keep my speach under control, precisely becayse ofpeople like you that might find it offensive. But I think taking the Lords name in vain is really these lying scamming preachers who fleece the sheep. (see Jesus overturning the temple moneychanger tables for his opinion)
Alsi, just because Ive run into this conversation recently elsewhere, Christians better wake up and start getting offended iver sime real stuff instead of piddly stuff, say like our brethern getting crucified literally in Egyot and Tunsinia and how they are smearing the name of Jesus left and right. If we kept the heat on the media that the muslims do, and on congress, the pres etc things wouldnt be like they are but we dont!!! Why? Oh cuz we are too busy being offended by cussing and too busy worshipping the NFL etc. :(
Thanks for listening Mrs. C while I vented! But really, sadly enough its true.
I love you all so much!

KR-you are 100% correct! His mother is an englishwoman. Blonde hair blue eyed Princess Muna. Sorry about that gaff. Yeah, I kinda liked his daddy too. They seemed to be a pretty gentle and well run kingdom with subjects who were loyal and happy. For the most part at least

Sister Ally,
Just so you know, I was raised by a father that could pass for Archie Bunker. In addition, I have camped and hung out with Hells Angeles. I know full well what "cussing" is.
Brother Scott, requested that no profanity be used on his blog. The word used is the same that Brother Scott deleted when others posted them. We have brand new Christians that are reading this blog. It is a poor Witness to them. I understand completely that no one is without sin before Him, no one. And no one has to “clean up” so as to speak, to accept Him as their Savior. He says to come to Him just as you are, with all of our flaws. It is He that grows us, and cleans us up, in whatever way that may be.
We have each an individual relationship with Jesus. You yours, and everyone else theirs.
There is also a difference between using abbreviations, and spelling out curse words.
Bottom line, is out of His Love, to respect Brother Scotts request.

God Bless! :)

Robin, we're so happy for you and your daughter. It's wonderful!!!! We're still praying for our son. He said he doesn't understand why God will only let Gentiles and Jewish people into heaven and not others. I don't know where he's getting his idea's from. We noticed a big change when he went to college. There are so many out there who are preaching so many different ways to heaven and it's mixing people up.
Praying for your husband Hubae and glad you're doing better Ally. Please pray for our son to rededicate himself to Christ.
We're joining all of you in prayer for a huge harvest! It's so nice to have you all as family!!!!!

Ally! I am so laughing! I speak to Jesus the same way you do! ESPECIALLY when I'm REALLY upset! (And, I always apologize to Him after!) But our God knows our frame, thank You Lord!

Mrs. C, Hell's Angels, eh? And you lived to tell the tale! Pastor Steve Mays of Calvary Chapel was one too. His book:
"From The Gutter Most To The Utter Most".

Thanks waterer/kr for the prayers. The prep is going well. I am just about finished with sermon #1 and good outlines on the other three. We only have about 60 people for the service I am speaking in so probably no big deal to most but it still makes me pretty nervous mainly because of the responsibility of rightly dividing God's Word. I am finding out just how much I don't really know.

It reminded me of years ago I tried to referee church basketball league games after playing for years. I didn't know the rules nearly as well as I thought. lol

Scott I saw somewhere today that Russia, Iran, Syria and China are doing war games and have moved in a bunch of equipment and troops. Some were wondering if maybe the "games" were a ruse and they are actually prepping for war? It was food for thought.

One thing I have learned over the years is to keep it simple. You know a LOT more than any sudience, and its SO tempting to delve into the interesting details, but you really have to streamline and keep it as simple as possible, yet revealing the interesting stuff.

Good luck.

I say this, because my first 2-3 bible studies were terrible (IMO) - for a variety of reasons - thats when I decided to have it all on powerpoint (it works for me, understandable that it doesn't work for everyone)...But having it laid out like that keeps everything 'linear' and keeps me on track (I tend to get tangential when I don't have structure before me)

If you ever want my power-point slides (if nothing else, for content) I'll be happy to share. In fact, I have been considering posting them to the blog

Caver said...

WV,you are being lifted up here also. Praying for guidance and certainty and that the Holy Spirit lead you to speak with authority and clarity for your audience.

Hi WV~

We are all a rootin' for you. :) Let us know the day before you are going to speak so we may all pray for you. You may start having such a wonderful witness you will have everyone awe struck.

God Bless!!

GG

PS. Congrat's to those who have sucessfully had new conversions in their families. May we continue to pray for the many who are lost and that they too find Jesus really soon! :)

WVBORN56 said...

Thanks Scott for the good advice and for the encouragement and prayers Caver and GG. It is much appreciated. I am speaking every Sunday evening at 6PM in October.

Scott said...

Oh - and one more thing WV :)

If you are ever tempted to get nervous - just remember that its not "you" that people are interested in, its the content of the message :) (no offense of course:)

But thats what I consider before a large group - its all about the message - and thats where the focus will be :)

Scott said...

Oh, and Sue - thats so so very disappointing. I really asked in a nice way to stop with that and for some odd reason you refuse to listen or respect my request. Back to moderation. At least when I'm not around to check on the comments.

Scott said...

Sue,
I don't care what you think. I have asked you politely to stop attacking people who post comments - yet you still do it. And because of you, and your efforts to do so, (while creating disharmony and conflict) I am stuck with spending countless hours moderating the board - thanks for that. You see Sue, I have a job and a family that keeps me busy enough already - and now, as a result of your postings (you and all of your other 'names') I have to do this. How does that fit in with your biblical views that you seem to so desperately push on everybody and your need to 'monitor' people's comments if they don't fit with your views?

Scott said...

WV - I'm going to try and get my power-point presentations posted on the blog - hope to get to it later today or tonight. Keep checking the upper right hand corner of the blog

WVBORN56 said...

Scott will do...much appreciated!
