Israeli Official: Satellite Images Back Claims That Iran Is Developing Nuclear Weapons

An Israeli official claims satellite images that raised suspicions Iran is trying to conceal a key nuclear test back Israel's concerns that Tehran is developing an atomic bomb.

The official said the pictures "reinforce what Israel has been saying all along ... the Iranian nuclear program is not benign." He spoke on condition of anonymity pending a formal government response.

Earlier Thursday, Yukiya Amano, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, told CNN that Iran is not telling us everything about its nuclear program.
"We have the indication or information that Iran has engaged in activities relevant to the development of nuclear explosive devices," Yukiya Amano told CNN.

According to intelligence analysts, the threat to homeland security includes Iran’s increasing inroads into Latin America, cyberwarfare and ballistic missiles.

Iran has a kinship with Latin American countries that are opposed to Western sanctions.

“Iranian officials – probably including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei – have changed their calculus and are now willing to conduct an attack in the United States,” according to James Clapper, director of the Office of National Intelligence.

Iran’s ballistic missile program similarly has alarmed U.S. officials. In 2009, when the U.S. issued its U.S. missile defense strategy, Iran’s ballistic missile program was viewed as a “phased adaptive approach.”

While the threat remains to U.S. overseas assets, the threat from Iranian intercontinental ballistic missiles has become more imminent.

“Iran already has the largest inventory of ballistic missiles in the Middle East and is expanding the scale, reach and sophistication of its ballistic missile forces, many of which are inherently capable of carrying a nuclear payload,” according to a recent U.S. intelligence assessment.

Iran, he said, is making major headway toward an ICBM capability through long-range missile tests and has developed a broad engineering base and missile survivability effort.

My, how predictable was this one?

Although Saudi Arabia had good relations for more than 30 years with Egypt under now-ousted President Hosni Mubarak, the kingdom is warily watching political developments in Cairo as the Muslim Brotherhood shows increasing strength, according to a report from Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.

In what appears to be a cross-spectrum of political sentiment in Egypt as a result of the ouster of Mubarak, there appears to be a desire to normalize ties with Tehran, believing that resumption of relations between the two Muslim countries will remove many controversies and differences.

While the other Arab countries in the region are concerned about the growing influence of Iran, especially its ties to their Shi’ite minorities, Nour said that his party is not afraid of Iran’s role and influence in the region.

Iran had planned to bomb an Israeli ship while it crossed the Suez Canal, the prosecution in Egypt's state security court said, the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram reported on Saturday.

According to the report, two Egyptians were recently arrested and investigated for allegedly planning an attack on an Israeli ship in the Suez Canal.

Haaretz reported last week that a high-ranking official in Jerusalem said that Iranian military experts have been active in Sinai and the Gaza Strip.

Several terror groups are now at large in Sinai, the source explained: local Bedouin, who are adopting the ideology of the Global Jihad; groups supported by Iran, who are trying to recruit and train militants not only in Sinai but throughout Egypt; and Palestinian organizations. Joining them are Global Jihad militants from Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen and Saudi Arabia

As activists are planning to lead aGlobal March to Jerusalem next Friday, Israel has warned neighboringcountries that it would forcefully respond to attempted breaches of its borders.

The Global March to Jerusalem initiative aims at getting over one million Arabs and their supporters to attempt to infiltrate Israel’s borders on March 30th. A spokesman for the march said last week the initiative “demand[s] freedom for Palestine and its capital Jerusalem.”

The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC) has presented information that Iran is behind the initiative and openly supports it. The march has alsobeen endorsed by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who was U.S. President Barack Obama's pastor for 20 years at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.

Diplomatic sources told the London-based Asharq Alawsat newspaper on Friday that Israel has sent messages to the governments of Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, the Hamas government in Gaza and the Palestinian Authority regarding the planned march.

The report said that in the messages Israel made it clear that anyone who will come near its borders would be considered an infiltrator and the IDF will act against him with full force.

Israel also reportedly demanded that Arab countries not allow an escalation of the tension in the region through marches toward its borders.

A Missouri state lawmaker says it’s a scary time in America, especially if you’re not fully on board with Washington’s socialist-leaning agenda.

“It’s kind of a dangerous time for people in America who might wind up disagreeing with the government,” Missouri Rep. Paul Curtman said during a conference telephone call regarding organized opposition for the National Defense Authorization Act.

After serving in the Marines for 10 years, he said, he realizes that under the federal government’s definition of “potential terrorist,” he qualified by virtue of his status as a combat veteran and his conservative political views.

The law was signed by Barack Obama Dec. 31, 2011, and among its sections is 1021, “which purports to authorize the president of the United States to use the armed forces of the United States to detain American citizens who the president suspects are or have been substantial supports of al-Qaida, the Taliban, or associated forces, and to hold such citizens indefinitely,” according to an analysis of the federal law

“Detention provisions without due process written into sections 1021 and 1022 of the National Defense Authorization Act served as a shot across America’s bow, raising concern to an amazingly high level, bringing groups and individuals across the political spectrum together to battle what they view as an unconstitutional and dangerous federal power grab,” his report said.

Who is the Superpower now?

Why Iran Thinks America Won’t Attack

What? "the rise of Iran"? Superpower? Please share where GODS WORD says that Iran is a "superpower" in these Last Days?
Should we care, what Iran "thinks"? You could spend an infant amount of time, trying to figure out mad men. The enemy loves nothing better than to steel our time, and promote fear. Whew, seems to be ALOT of that going around.

God Bless!

Yea, they're a legend in their own mind :)

But seriously - if they think that they have such capabilities, such a mindset could have prophetic implications...IOW, if they believe that they can take on the US and/or Israel, such thinking could end up triggering war.

Mrs. C said...

Hi Brother Scott, :)
Yes indeed, they very well could trigger a war, through their proxies, and they very well could attack the U.S. through proxy sleeper cells.
We look to Gods Word, which is most important. :) The U.S. is no where as even an inkling of a "superpower". This has been known for decades, that something will take down the U.S. for sure.
But the mystery poster (one of many it appears lately), suggested by even their log in name, and referred article, that Iran is some kind of "superpower", in addition to promoting fearful kinda article.
We dont have to be afraid of anything. We knew ALL of this was coming. Just saying what a "think tank" thinks, means nothing next to the only Truth, and that is Gods Word. Do we turn to mans words, videos, youtube etc., or Gods Words for the Truth, and instruction in these Last Days.
Gods Word tells us Iran will not participate in the next war of Isaiah 17, but will directly in the quickly following Ezekiel 38.
As we know though, when Iran does participate in Ezekiel 38, they will be nothing more than a tagalong with all the others, not by any means a "superpower". Time is drawing very, very short Brother! Look up, look up our redemption draweth nigh!
God Bless You Brother!

It sure is....Very short. Between now and mid-November is going to be a roller-coaster IMO

Dear Scott,

Why do you think Jesus answered the disciples questions about the end of the age without quoting these specific battles that seem so anticipated as the endgame?
( I mean the way we say to each other, time is short!)
It seems like the signs He gave were something to see and experience but not necessarily exegete.
I guess I get off track a little when I see such emphasis in our
conversations on future wars (when His warning was , yes there will be wars and RUMORS of wars) He didn't emphasize Which wars except for the nation aGainst nation wars which we think are the ww'S)
i see the incredible build up in the whole ME of unrest and calls to hatred and violence. These seem
especially demonic in their irrational hatred of Israel and the West. I am confused though when we seem to think that any minute the Is.17 war will happen.
I don't naturally see it, when Netanyahu is trying so hard to stop nuclear conflict against Israel. Why are we expecting him to suddenly wipe Damascus off the map? Are these specific wars what we should be studying or is the list that Jesus gave more germaine?
I am not arguing. I am trying to stay joyful in hope and expectant in prayer for Christ's work in,through and around us till He comes. I ache for the lack of repentance in our country and like Abraham want to intercede for the "righteous" in the land.
I believe that fearing these enemy countries is a mistake. We fear only God Who alone is great and powerful. He has told us of these judgments that have happened and are still coming but always there is a space for repenting.
How should we be anticipating His arrival as the Master away on a journey, returning to find us doing His work?I am struggling with this
daily dread of sudden holocaust.
Every morning I turn the news on wondering if war has happened while we slept. I am not sure this is what He wants me so focused on..

Mrs C you may need to go back into the old testament and consider why the Lord raised up enemies in the past to JUDGE HIS PEOPLE whom had gone a-whoring after false gods. We are no different :(

God has been affirming since 2006 that He would be raising up the spirit of the MEDES ( please do a bible word search on who this nation is and why the Lord RAISES them up ) to bring about His plan and the soon 42 month tribulation.

Who is able to stand?

It is given unto the BEAST to make war with the saints, ( another powerful word study of who those are )

There is a famine in the land...a famine of God's word!

It is time that the church wake up to the lateness of the hour and to have our lamps trimmed. No easy escape , yet not appointed to wrath.

Church wake up.Seek the Lord in spirit and truth lest this day come upon you .....quickly.

Dear Scott........

ANON here says that the TRIB period is 42 months ?? really ??

I thought it was 7 years, 42 X 2...

final authority on that in REVELATION.

Anon,
Forgive me but no “word search” is necessary, reading His Word within full context of the given Scripture, and most importantly with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, IS of the utmost importance. There is so much cherry picking of Scriptures out there now a day. Forgive me, but God is not Judging this nation, and there is a HUGE difference between Gods relationship with His People, and His relationship with other nations in the world. We have no Covenant with God as a nation, as His does with His People, the His Nation of Israel. Forgive me, but I wasn’t aware that 2006 was any kind of Proclamation from God regarding Iran, did you hear this from some kind of self proclaimed Prophet? The Tribulation period is 7 years, not 42 months, unless of course you believe we are already in the Trib, which in that case is not Scriptural or True. “No easy escape” is a common phrase used by those that hold a post-Trib view. There is no “famine” in the land concerning Gods Word, it is plentifully here. However, His Word as plentiful as it is spoken in this land, is manipulated, misunderstood, edited, and quite honestly not listened to or ignored by many Pastors and Congregations across the land…that is exactly what Gods Word said would happen in these Last Days…

Well, I hope I hear from someone OUT THERE soon....please tell me
the TYPE of accident that Blake
was involved with.....thanks,

Mrs C...no need to ask for forgiviness :)

USA is being judged and will soon experince the raising up of the SPIRIT OF THE MEDES ( IRAN) to bring down a nation that is filled with PRIDE AND ARROGANCE , oh thy high and lofty one, she whom saith, "I AM and there is NONE like me " will be brought low before the nations of the world ( actaully it has already )

No prophet here, just a humble servant and no cherry pickin either :)

MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

Mrs C one last point before I dust my feet off here :)

I give you my word that I will pray for you that your faith will stand in the dark days that lay ahead. I pray that you have oil in your lamp and be willing to suffer the tribuation that is upon us.

Proverbs 1

22How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

23Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

24Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

25But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

26I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

27When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

28Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

29For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

30They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

31Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

32For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

33But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Shalom to you :)
