Boko Harem Vows To 'Kill Every Christian', 'Blow Up Every Church', Julian Assange: Emails Demonstrate Weapons To Islamic Jihadists In Syria

Boko Haram’s new leader vows to “kill every Christian,” “blow up every Church”

The new leader of Boko Haram, just appointed by the Islamic State, has vowed to end his attacks on fellow Muslims regarded by the group as infidels, and instead focus on Christians. Abu Musab al-Barnawi, who replaces Abubakar Shekau, has accused the West of trying to “Christianize the region” and says he will “blow up every Church” and “kill every Christian.”

Meanwhile, Shekau, who in March 2015 pledged allegiance to Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, has released a recorded message crying foul over the new appointment, but vowed to “continue in the cause of Allah” to destroy the infidel….

Abu Musab al-Barnawi’s new focus on murdering Christians and destroying churches represents a major shift in strategy, as Boko Haram has killed far more Muslims than Christians since the election of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, whom Boko Haram regarded as an infidel; it has been going after every Muslim who voted for him. Buhari made it his priority to destroy the jihadist group and encouraged neighboring countries to join in his counter-terrorism efforts.

Under new leader al-Barnawi, Boko Haram is now bringing in new recruits in a redirected anti-Christian war that he describes as one being “fought by Muslims against ‘apostates’ and ‘crusaders.'”
“Will blow up every church, kill all Christians: Boko Haram’s new leader, announced by ISIS”, by Yashaswani Sehrawat, India Today, August 4, 2016:

Nigeria’s Boko Haram Islamic extremists have a new leader who is threatening to bomb churches and kill Christians while ending attacks on mosques and markets used by ordinary Muslims, according to an interview published Wednesday by the Islamic State group.
He also says there is a Western plot to Christianize the region and has accused charities of using their aid for that, according to a SITE Intelligence Group translation of an interview published on Wednesday in the Islamic State newspaper al-Nabaa.

On Monday, I reported on the fact that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton engaged in the sale of arms to Qatar, which ultimately ended up in the hands of Islamic jihadists in Syria and Iraq that later became the Islamic State. Now, Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange is claiming that there are "1,700 emails in Hillary Clinton's collection" which prove that she did just this.
While not supporting Democracy Now, nor democracy in general, I do think this interview with Julian Assange by Democracy Now is important information.
"So, those Hillary Clinton emails, they connect together with the cables that we have published of Hillary Clinton, creating a rich picture of how Hillary Clinton performs in office, but, more broadly, how the U.S. Department of State operates," he continued. "So, for example, the disastrous, absolutely disastrous intervention in Libya, the destruction of the Gaddafi government, which led to the occupation of ISIS of large segments of that country, weapons flows going over to Syria, being pushed by Hillary Clinton, into jihadists within Syria, including ISIS, that's there in those emails. There's more than 1,700 emails in Hillary Clinton's collection that we have released, just about Libya alone."

Understand, this is not just about Hillary Clinton. It's not just about Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah. It's also about many in the Republican Party who endorsed the funding, training and arming of these Islamic jihadistsincluding former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and a Republican-led Congress, including RINOs like Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham.

The recent downing of a Russian Mi-8 helicopter and the death of all 5 on board over Al Qaeda-held Idlib province in Syria, represents the unenviable full circle US rhetoric has made surrounding both the Syrian conflict, and the wider “War on Terror.”

It was the United States who first created and used Al Qaeda in Afghanistan in the 1980s to down Russian aircraft and to fight Russian troops. After successfully pushing Russia out of Afghanistan and plunging it into a sociopolitical dark age, the US went on to claiming to be victimized by the monster they themselves created, perhaps most spectacularly on September 11, 2001. Today, the US finds itself back to now fully using Al Qaeda to fight a proxy war against Russia, this time in Syria.

The Russian Mi-8 helicopter was conducting humanitarian operations. This is not according to only Russian or Syrian sources, but even opposition sources including UK-based anti-Syrian government proponent Rami Abdulrahman who refers to himself as the “Syrian Observatory for Human Rights” (SOHR).

The New York Times in its article, “Russian Military Helicopter Is Shot Down in Syria, Killing 5,” would report that:

The downing of Russia’s Mi-8 over Idlib is not the first. Another Russian helicopter was shot down near Palmyra in early July.
Japan Times in its article, “U.S. missile brought down Russian helicopter in Syria: report,” would report:

Two Russian airmen killed in Syria on Friday were shot down with American weaponry, the Interfax news agency said Sunday, quoting a Russian military source.

It said insurgents from the Islamic State group hit the airmen’s Mi-25 assault helicopter with a U.S.-made TOW heavy anti-tank missile, a weapon that uses guidance from a ground station.

The possibility of terrorist organizations like the Islamic State (IS) ending up with US missiles should be no surprise. It is a “coincidence” it appears many US policymakers wanted to unfold in Syria, if a no-fly zone implemented over Syria by the US directly was not a possibility.

One of those US policymakers is US Senator John McCain (R-AZ) who would say in a 2015 interview on Fox News that:
I might do what we did in Afghanistan many years ago, to give those guys the ability to shoot down those planes. That equipment is available.
He would elaborate further by stating:
The Free Syrian Army, just like the Afghans shot down the Russian…

It should be noted that the “guys” Senator McCain is referring to in Afghanistan were Al Qaeda. With the downing of 2 Russian helicopters at the hands of IS and Al Qaeda respectively, it appears very much like Senator McCain has (one way or another) gotten his wish, with Al Qaeda once again serving as the armed intermediary between the US and Russia.
The end result is US foreign policy coming full circle, having created Al Qaeda to fight Russia in the 1980s, then using the terrorist organization as a pretext to extend military interventionism globally, to now once again cheering them on in Syria as they down Russian aircraft amid a struggle to restore peace and stability to both Syria and the wider region.

One wonders if this irony is lost on the American people, who have been asked to sacrifice so much in the name of fighting “terrorism,” only to have those who have done the asking to ally themselves with the very terrorists in a destructive proxy war in the distant lands of the Levant.

That was United Nations Rapporteur Maina Kai on July 27, a representative of the U.N. Human Rights Council, who on the tail-end of touring the U.S., endorsed a little-known and yet highly controversial practice by the Justice Department to effect a federal takeover of local police and corrections departments.

The consent decrees are already being implemented in Newark, New Jersey; Miami, Florida; Los Angeles, California; Ferguson, Missouri; Chicago, Illinois; and other municipalities.

Here's how it works: the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice files a lawsuit in federal court against a city, county, or state, alleging constitutional and civil rights violations by the police or at a corrections facility. It is done under 42 U.S.C. § 14141, a section of the 1994 Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act, granting the attorney general the power to prosecute law enforcement misconduct. The municipality then simply agrees to the judicial finding — without contest — and the result is a wide-reaching federal court order that imposes onerous regulations on local police.

In short, the much-feared nationalization of local police departments is already being initiated by the Obama administration's Justice Department. And somehow nobody noticed.

The breadth of regulation here shatters any notion of local governance or federalism. The Obama administration has been pursuing the federal takeover of local police right under Congress' nose — and Republicans  in Congress were apparently unaware it was happening.

No doubt the practice would continue under a Hillary Clinton administration too. Do you want a Clinton Justice Department running your local police force? That is how important the election in November suddenly becomes — with law and order already hanging in the balance and police being targeted by domestic terrorists in the slayings in Dallas and Baton Rouge.
