"The unilateral establishment of a Palestinian state with Hamas will strengthen Iran's foothold in the region," Katz said, while visiting the Itamar home of the Fogel family, who were murdered by Palestinians in March. "Hamas and its leaders are the only ones in the world that criticized the killing of Osama bin Laden, and we do not need to be in contact with an organization," that partners with Hamas, he added.
Ahmadinejad's nightmare
As in previous years, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad used his country’s celebration of Army Day on Monday to bash Israel and the US... and it has become customary for Ahmadinejad to utter threats against the Jewish state and epithets against the bulwark of freedom and democracy, America.
“A new Middle East will emerge without the presence of the United States and the Zionist regime and their allies in the near future,” Ahmadinejad declared, claiming that the US and Israel were plotting to “spark an Iranian-Arabian Shia-Sunni conflict.”
UNFORTUNATELY, AHMADINEJAD’S prediction that the current revolutionary changes sweeping the region will lead to greater antagonism against Israel and the US and, therefore, to more of the same repressive, backward and/or fundamentalist leadership is no less valid than more optimistic views that see the Arab Spring as a harbinger of a bright new future for the Arab world.
The article then proceeds to give us a realistic view of current events in the Middle East:
Contradictory messages are being conveyed from Egypt, for instance, regarding the future of the Camp David peace agreement with Israel. And the threat that the Muslim Brotherhood will become a dominant force in Egypt is very real. Such a development would further strengthen Hamas-controlled Gaza.
In Libya, the little that is known about the rebels presently receiving Western backing to fight Muammar Gaddafi’s regime is not reassuring. The Libyan Islamic Movement for Change, one of the rebel groups, was formed by Islamists, and the Transitional National Council, the group formed by the anti-Gaddafi rebels during the uprising of 2011, was endorsed by Abu Yahya, a Libyanborn al-Qaida official who broadcast a video message urging the Benghazi rebels to continue the fight for the establishment of an Islamic regime.
Evidence at bin Laden's home raises nuclear concerns
The U.S. has worried quietly about the infiltration of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and military for years. Those concerns heightened in recent months when the CIA learned that bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad was a stone’s throw from Pakistan's military academy.
Pakistan is neither a member of the IAEA nor a party to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Analysts estimate Pakistan to have more than 100 nuclear weapons. The latest estimate by Princeton University’s International Panel on Fissile Materials, which takes account of the world’s nuclear material, estimates that Pakistan possesses between 1.6 tons and 3.8 tons of weapons-grade uranium and between 132 pounds and 286 pounds of plutonium.
“Up to now, the Pakistanis have said the nuclear material is under military and ISI control and particularly the plutonium and highly enriched uranium,” Mr. Heinonen said. “These are from facilities that are not under IAEA control at all.”
“Our major concern has not been that an Islamic militant could steal an entire weapon but rather the chance someone working in [Pakistani government] facilities could gradually smuggle enough fissile material out to eventually make a weapon and the vulnerability of weapons in transit,” said the cable, which was released Wednesday by the anti-secrecy website WikiLeaks.
Al Qaeda Revenge Attacks "Certain"
Al-Qaida is much stronger than it was on 9/11 despite the death of Osama bin Laden and it’s a virtual certainty that the growing terrorist group will launch a major revenge attack, according to author and former CIA bin Laden expert Michael Scheuer.
In an exclusive Newsmax.TV interview, Scheuer predicted that bin Laden will have “an enduring resonance among Muslims for hundreds of years,” because he hurt the United States and survived for a decade afterward.
Levee blast means lost year for Missouri farmers
Blasting open a levee and submerging more than 200 square miles of Missouri farmland has likely gouged away fertile topsoil, deposited mountains of debris to clear and may even hamper farming in some places for years, experts say.
The planned explosions this week to ease the Mississippi River flooding threatening the town of Cairo, Ill., appear to have succeeded — but their effects on the farmland, where wheat, corn and soybeans are grown — could take months or even years to become clear. The Missouri Farm Bureau said the damage will likely exceed $100 million for this year alone.
Massive asteroid hurtling towards Earth
A massive asteroid will fly within the moon's orbit narrowly missing Earth later this year.
The space rock, called YU55, will hurtle past our planet at a distance of just 201,700 miles during its closest approach on November 8.
That is closer to Earth than the moon, which orbits 238,857miles away on average.
With a width of some 400metres and weighing 55million tons, YU55 will be the largest object to ever approach Earth so close.
Fatah-Hamas Unity Will End the Peace Process
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that reconciliation between the Palestinian Authority and Hamas could spell the end of the peace process. “You can not have peace with both Israel and Hamas,” Netanyahu said.
Reacting to the reconciliation deal, Defense Minister Ehud Barak told members of the media that Israel will not negotiate with the Palestinians if Hamas is part of their leadership. “Hamas,” Barak added, “is a murderous terrorist organization that fires rockets on civilians and has recently fired at a school bus with children in it. This is an organization that we have nothing to negotiate with.” Barak charged that Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas), Chairman of the Palestinian Authority, is responsible for what just happened. He added: “ Israel will request from its friends in the world not to negotiate with such a government.”
If you need proof of this idea, here it is (try finding this document discussed in the MSM):
While there is no substantive difference between the Fatah charter and that of Hamas (both call for the disappearance of the Jewish state), the Hamas charter does not mince words:
“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”
“The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf, consecrated for future Muslim generations until Judgment Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up. ”
“There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals, and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors.”
“After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on. Their plan is embodied in the ‘Protocols of the Elders of Zion,’ and their present conduct is the best proof of what we are saying.”
IAEA: Contaminated Water May Reach West Coast
The International Atomic Energy Agency says radioactive water leaked from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in northeastern Japan may reach the West Coast of North America in one or 2 years.
The IAEA said that, based on an analysis of data provided by Japan and other sources, the contaminated water may spread across the Pacific on the Kuroshio current, and reach the coast of North America by next year at the earliest.
High-Level Radiation Found on Seabed Near Japan's Crippled Nuclear Plant
Japanese officials say radiation readings are 100 to 1,000 times the normal level on the Pacific seabed near the Fukushima nuclear power plant that was damaged in a natural disaster in March.
Local news media Tuesday quoted the plant's operator, Tokyo Electric Power Company, as saying that high levels of radioactive materials were found in samples taken from the seabed at points 20 to 30 meters deep.
The Tokyo Electric Power Company Tuesday began releasing findings on radiation leakage from the Fukushima nuclear accident. The information had been withheld for fear of causing mass panic. Some of the data was posted Tuesday on the company's websites.

Remember ‘my’ Postie Bob Mitchell of Shofar U.K.???
Using Scripture, grammar, Greek and copious prayers over the last few years I have challenged his folly in a concerted effort to show him that the track he is laying to reach his determined destination of a Post-tribulation Rapture, is entirely a figment of his own imagination, fed by the inept erudition of men equally ill disposed.
At the time he blustered to try and defend Post but failed utterly with irrational replies that were unbelievably, and embarrassingly, illogical and void of Biblical exegesis as context was conveniently ignored.
In particular, and especially, he had no defence for Rev3:10. He tried, but his reasoning was so frail and twisted, he was literally grasping and clawing at the wind. Even claiming the Septuagint supported his interpretation of ‘tereo ek’. He was easily proved wrong, as were his ‘supporting’ N.T. Scriptures. Eventually he did not respond at all and pulled the drawbridge up.
He now has six You Tube videos which, not only ignore the facts given to him, but has turned those same facts onto their head to wilfully and brazenly pillage them in cultish mode to defend Postie. One is his abuse of imminency; feebly ‘taking on’ respected scholar Dr Reynald Showers, believing instead his own untutored, tortured rationale.
These are horribly deceptive, because to those who are unaware, his blarney is weaving a lie by dismantling the truth. It truly grieves my spirit that his recklessness is being accepted by the Biblically uninformed as ‘plausible’; as is ever the way of a cult, and I use the word advisably and purposefully.
People are following this personality cult, as his faulty eschatology is steadily dismantling doctrine one after the other. For example; in order to ‘prove’ the church is in the Tribulation, the ‘saints’, HAVE to be the church. To keep that error supported it tracks back to believing Israel and the Church are one and the same, without distinction, in his own personal brand of ‘replacement theology’. Eternal Security is also denied adding ‘works’ to the Gospel.
When he was idling along on his blog it was only a few being misled; but now he has gone ‘international’ by using You Tube. Being deceived, he is now open to deceiving the world by gross misapplication of Scripture and vain philosophy.

Hello Scott
The head of our Police gave us a long speech yesterday.
We aren't to become complacent as our alert remains Amber on 'Severe' meaning an attack is likely.
Next in line, Red, is Critical meaning an attack is 'Expected Imminently'. :¬|
Maranatha!
Sue
Praying for your safety Sue as well as all who belong to our Lord.
Kem
Sue-I was going to say make your own video, but instead lets pray to have his eyes opened! I was totally convinced in a mid trib forever until i landed here. there is always hope! Blessed hope in Christ Jesus!-You know...if you are a believer you are getting raptured so in a weird way, it doesn't really matter oddly enough :-) -ally
Scott, I would be very interested in your thoughts on what this fellow watcher has to say about the upcoming march on Israel (the 3rd Intifada) on May 13th and its possible relation to Psalm 83. I had never thought about the main point that he makes. He covers all this in the first 7.5 min or so, so you needn't watch the whole thing unless you just want to. Thanks!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8sVmiWw0QU
Actually, I'm interested in anyone and everyone's thoughts on that video and his thoughts on Psalm 83.
Sue, I will also pray for your safety! I will also pray against Mitchell's deception.
May 13th? That's my birthday! And it's a Friday... Hmm jokes.
My friend, who is a catholic, said that in the bible, God said that whatever you believe about the after life will come true. It kinda disturbed me that someone who claims to be a Christian can believe such a thing.
Sue, I will keep you and your pre-trib ministry in my prayers. Mitchell is definitely one who presents a gospel that "tickles the ears" of the uninformed. :-( I know of the frustration you speak as I am surrounded by those who endorse replacement theology.
Dylan~regarding Friday 13th~bad juju is coming. ;-)
Scott, I posted this question in a previous entry but wanted to repost it again. Do you think that with OBL's death that the state of Palestine will be recognized to deter terrorism by the radicals? And my next question: Have you considered that the Damascus event could be caused by Syrian protestors rather than a pre-emptive strike by the Israelis?
Lots of good stuff here today from the readers.

Sue~
Thank you for trying to work so hard to keep the train of thought on track with this person. Just going to the link you gave us made my head spin listening to him.
It's a sad day when we are all confused and possibly turning against one another to do what we believe is the right thing. Thank God for his word. I hope others will keep seeking the truth and learn to discern what is true and holy from it.
This part of a teaching I heard today is reflective of this very behavior you are seeing on U-tube.
Have a blessed day!

Alice - I'll take a look at that video when I get a chance to sit down at the computer this evening.
Geared - I recall thinking a few weeks ago, that I believe there is more going on (regarding the formation of a 'PA State" in sept than what we are hearing....I'm not sure what it is, and I can't put my finger on it, but I have a sneaking suspicion that we will know a LOT more about what has been going on behind the scenes - and I also believe more will be revealed in Sept.
They have to overcome the fact that Israel STILL doesn't have to comply with the new PA State in Sept, but it sure would be easier for 'everybody' (except Israel, of course) if they go along with the plan...
So - The PA and the Quartet all know this. So perhaps my unsettledness has to do with the fact that THEY know Israel needs to be forced to go along with this EVEN if its a "unilateral" decision/vote by the UN.....
So how can that last piece of the puzzle be dealt with? - Israel.....
Maybe this is what is happening behind the scenes? a way to ________ Israel into compliance? (in blank: Coerce? Blackmail? Force? Terrorism? Threat? Sanctions" "Failure to Protect"?)
And that question is quickly followed by - Could THIS be the plan that the AC ultimately (post-Sept) "confirms?
Many more questions than answers...
Scott said... "(in blank: Coerce? Blackmail? Force? Terrorism? Threat? Sanctions" "Failure to Protect"?)"
Oh! I thot you had the blank there for a bad word. Sorry, my bad...
On a lighter note for today, my wife has a pretty quick wit but she's real shy about popping of with it except amongst people she knows well.
She was browsing Craigslist, as she likes to do frequently, and she commented that people say/write the strangest things... Some guy wanted to give away "winter snow-tires" [that's tyres, for a certain somebody on the other side of the pond...], a she laffed about that.
I told her to respond back with "I wuz really looking for summer snow-tires. Do you have any of those?", but she wouldn't...
;D
hey guys please don't take this the wrong way... I have a friend he is a very godly person he he is right on most of his the ology he loves people well and in my opinion a good man of god.... except that he's a post trib other than that I agree with the rest of his. teology. try not to make one's placements of the rapture the point of division.
I have nothing but respect for this postie.there are 4 areas of theology that have caused more d vision and fighting church splits than anything else, they are 1) eternal security ( which I believe in) 2) gifts of the spirit including speaking in tongues ( which I believe in) 3) predestination ( which I DONT believe) 4) and the rapture.
...oh 1 more thing I should probly say about the tongue thing tho I totally believe in it and believe ALL the gifts should be used in the church I do disagree how some charasmatics use and abuse that gift
Hartdawg.... Thank you for keeping things in perspective. Righteousness has been given to us. We are supposed to keep renewing our mind daily and learn to perfect holiness until that glorious day.
I think Satan wants to provoke our sinful natures with various thoughts that we just don't need to entertain. If there is bitterness then he can destroy our faith as well as our physical and spritual parts of ourselves.
Your thought process is right as we are to love everyone including our enemies. We don't have to associate with them but we still have to perfect that holiness and love our enemies. Some days it's easier said than done. Thank you for bringing that to light. We are all the body of Christ and should act accordingly.
.....and remember anon...posties are not our enemies.....they're just wrong:)
So true...I was referring to what we may come up against or are already dealing with in our personal lives :)
Hello All
The problem with this particular Postie, who will 'go' in the Pre-trib Rapture regardless, is that his view is affecting other doctrine's which he HAS to change to fit in with his view.
He has just replied where he insists the Church was not born at Pentecost, it existed in the wilderness with Moses. Acts7:38
(ecclessia means an assembly)
So my aim in this is to contend earnestly for the faith, not argue over timings.
DrNofog
Ask your dear wife what she thinks of our cards to welcome a 'NEW Baby'? I have yet to see an OLD one!
Sue:)
P.S. Many, many thanks for the prayers.x
Hey, this is kinda off topic, but do have any of you read any books by Ted dekker?
I know E.I...I know, I just wanted to put I checked in it before it did turn into something that you did not intend. no Dylan But I heard they are great books
Alice - I'm watching this video and I've seen this guy before (what's his name") and I have liked him in the past, but he is already making two mistakes that are common:
1. There is no bible prophecy which links the beginning of the last generation, to the regathering of Israel in 1948. Its SUCH a common mistake. The ONLY place that we were given the beginning of the generation was in Matthew 24:7-8 - at the beginning of Olivet, when Jesus said the first birth pains would be Nation against Nation-Kingdom against Kingdom (WWI) - and quakes, famine and pestilence.
2. I totally disagree with a generation being 70 years...A generation (Genea) means the lifespan of the generation in context. Genea was also used in the Matthew 1 - the genealogy - and all of those "generations" included vastly different life spans.
In the context of the last generation (ours), people are living to ~100-110. That is the expected duration of this generation, which IMO (and Fruchtenbaum FWIW) started in the WWI era.

Sue -
Isn't it amazing how convoluted and twisted the posties can become with scriptures to prove their point?
I haven't seen the video yet, but what about 1 Thess 1:10? Its similar to Rev 3:10 ---> what is his answer for that?
AND - where is there a description of a Rapture in Zech 14? Rev 19? With the detailed description of the Second Coming in Rev 19, why is there no description of a Rapture?
Does he explain when the wedding and wedding supper took place? The Bema Judgment? When did that take place?
Also - who populates the 1000 year reign? (wait, don;t tell me - he says that there will be a "remnant" of people who didn't accept Christ, but somehow get to move on to the 1000 yr reign?
If so, why did Jesus ONLY mention a gathering of "Sheep and goats"?
I could go on and on :)
Stephen - Thanks I'm on it :)
So the EU will continue to fund the PA even after a Hamas merger.....Interesting...
DrNo - I must say, I'm a little disappointed that you couldn't persuade your wife (?) - Have you no persuasive abilities even in your own home? Actually, it would have been pretty funny, admittedly :)
Scott, thank you so much for your thoughts on that video! I, like you probably, have seen that fellow a couple of times too, but I don't know his name.
But what I found most interesting was his point that Psalm 83 never mentions that it is a battle or war. It mentions no weapons. I'd never thought about this! In addition, I feel quite certain that I've heard people refer to this as the Psalm 83 "war", and as this fellow points out, it really does NOT appear to be a war. He goes on to speculate/wonder if this gathering against Israel on May 13th could actually fulfill Psalm 83. He believes the nations all line up to be the same. Could Psalm 83 simply be this "uprising" against Israel organized on facebook???
I guess the good news is that if he is truly on to something, we don't have long to wait to see if it is fulfilled! ...On Friday the 13th, btw. ;)
Oh, and in case I forget...HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you next Friday, Dylan!!! (((BIG BIRTHDAY HUG))) Are you by chance going to be 13 on the 13th?
Alice
I actually agree with that aspect, regarding Psa 83..Psa 83 is a prayer - a petition - for God to protect Israel from this threatening coalition. It isn't a description of war.
FWIW, some folks see Isa 17 as the answer to this prayer.
We'll see!
No, alice,(I feel so disrespectful addressing adults by their first names haha) I'm going to be 14 next Friday.
Dylan...1)HAPPY B-DAY BRO! 2)14 and interested in prophecy (and the things of God) that's sooo awesome! God will reward you for that. 3) being a youth leader I know how difficult it is for young people today to live godly lives...and it gets no easier. dont ever turn your back on God....the pressure WILL BE there but he'll be with you
Scott, a new record has been set--31 replies. Well, 32 now. Well done thou blog master.

Hello Scott
ALL your suggestions have been challenged. I have recently ‘got him’ re. the 2 witnesses; he had said they, and ALL the judgments come at the end of the 7yrs, but the 1260 days cinches it.
Bob is like a slippery eel with Scripture. I am now afraid I may be making him worse! The harder I edge him in, the deeper he digs the hole and throws out of context verses like confetti.
He will not see Israel and The Church as distinct, but I MAY have tripped him on that? [ Israel is a Nation of Jews baptized into Moses with Abrahams contract of Seed, Land, Promise on earth reproducing during the Mill while The Church is Jew AND Gentile baptized into Christ’s spiritual body by the Holy Spirit. We are not a nation, no land, no babies in our glorified bodies so distinctly different.]
My main concern is with the people following him. He is on Revelation TV, they are supposed to be Pre, but they are encouraging him by using him for ‘prophecy update’. Then folk trot along to his blog and its there they get caught up in his strange teaching. Not quite occult, but too close for comfort.
I feel quite low over it, its like a weight on my chest. I am assuming its ok to go ahead with it, I can’t do it without The Lord, so if He wants me to stop I shall have to. I haven’t bothered with the other 5 videos, but I have posted loads on no. 1. I wonder if you and the others could guess who I am? I am wondering when Bob will realise he is contending with me. He knows I come here, so he may take a peek? “Hi Bob”:)
Sorry to go on. It’s rare I have anyone physical to talk to about these things!
God bless.
Sue
x
Scott, thanks again for the explanation! I appreciate your time and thoughts on this!
Dylan, don't worry about addressing us here by our first names--it's all you have! Mine is an old family name that isn't my real name, anyway!
Sue, I will continue to keep you and this situation in my prayers. I pray God will expose this man. Also, I pray that many are listening, finding errors, and therefore digging into scriptures to discern for themselves what God's word says!
34! ;)
Hey Dylan
My daughter will be 14 in a few weeks.....:)
Just sayin.....:)
Sue
I believe the absolute HEART of the matter was captured by this statement that you made:
"He will not see Israel and the Church as distinct"...BINGO...The bottom line
I stumbled on the site of some pastor, the other day, and his ENTIRE point in making his case AGAINST a pre-trib rapture was pointing out the fact that God didn't "rapture" people like Noah, Lot, David, etc...but protected them WHILE ON EARTH.....
I wanted to SCREAM - THATS THE NATION OF ISRAEL, NOT THE CHURCH!!! HELLO !!!
But for some odd reason, these folks REFUSE to believe that there are different distinctions between the Church and Israel.....WHY IS THIS?
Sue, I will pray for wisdom and discernment from the Lord for you in this matter, and for peace throughout it. The Lord is definitely calling all of us to lean on Him even more greatly (fully), as the Day approaches.
Dylan, Happy 14th!
--Sharon
Scott and Sue- I was a slightly past mid trib believer until i met you guys :-) is there anyway you can forward the rapture teaching from here onto this guy? you could always send it to him with the old "listen to this and find the errors" kind of thing. lol but there aren't any. its amazing how many people have been saved trying to disprove the Bible. Dylan-you are amazing for your age and please use my first name...that way i dont feel so old! i am so ready for my glorified body cuz this one is wearing out somewhat. God bless you all!-ally
Ally,
You said you used to be a mid-trib believer. Me, too. Well, pre-wrath, actually. I've been back and forth on the issue over the past 3 years. I read on a pre-wrath board a posting by one person who said he knew of pre-tribbers who had 'switched' to pre-wrath, but he had never heard of a pre-wrath person changing to pre-trib. I was tempted to say, well...ummm...:)
Hi Sue~
I will be praying for you on this mission God is using you for at this particular time in your life. I can't quite recall the exact nature of scriptures, but something seems to be coming to mind that as Christians we should be able to hold each other accountable in our actions and teachings of the scripture as well as our lives- all in the spirit of love. It's almost like an internal shedding of the light on various subjects that maybe the other Christian brother or sister may be lacking in knowledge.
That is what I see you doing here. Sorry it's weighing so hard on you. God knows your heart. He will know that you are doing it for righteousness and not of malicious intent. Thank you for pointing these differences out this week. I can clearly see we are coming up against many false prophets in these last days with many more to come.
Your all wonderful and I look forward to meeting you when we arrive.
Dylan~what a wonderful heart for such a young age. God is using you for great teachings. Keep up the good work. Wise beyond your years!
GG (Annon 1:49 :)
Thank you all for your prayers and support. It really means a lot.
A fellow Brit, Alan Franklin with a U.K. news site I have yet to meet, has just told me he agrees with me. One of my rare emails as I felt so troubled. I really thought he would 'tell me off', but he was so kind just like all of you. I am actually blubbing, big plops off me nose. sniffle.
I have lost count how many comments I have made to Bob today. He keeps batting them back making no sense whatsoever. Its so sad.
The Lord has been really faithful stirring my brain to the best answer. Now I am snookered but feeling loads better.
BIG massive hug to you all.
God bless you big time.

"YOU ROCK SISTER" !
Hello Scott and all
I really tried to get through to ‘my’ Postie. It was going well, or so I thought; then true to form, when the moon came up he changed into a braying Mule!
I was wrong about him thinking that Israel and the Church are the same – where did I get that from? No, he doesn’t believe that at all, its just that O.T. Saints are part of Christ’s Body – silly me, that’s alright then! :-\
I think he was saying it either comes down to this being true because O.T. Saints are saved by Christ’s Blood as well OR he was suggesting another way to be saved – I thought that’s what he meant and told him what I thought of that idea then ‘vacated the building’ quick time – I’m not certain now; but either way the poor chap is totally nuts.
The weird ideas he comes up with are astounding (to me). Plus he can be so impolite when he’s on his Pre-Trib offensive. Result is I have done what I felt I had to do; I can do no more, and as it depresses me its best to leave him to it. God willing my posts may make others think twice?
I KNOW this sounds barking, but his comments suddenly changed, and as I read them it was as if I could ‘hear’ a snake hissing – it felt ‘orrible’ and it gave me the creeps. I am SO thankful for everyone’s prayer support.
Jesus is Lord, hallelujah!
