The World Approaches the Tribulation

I can't recall the exact quote, but I recall reading a few months ago about the concept of the "current system" of capitalism having to be completely destroyed in order for a new "movement" to take hold.

We are currently seeing the existing system of free enterprise and subsequent freedom in general being dismantled. And as mentioned before, this is a necessary development on this side of the Tribulation. This article adds insight:

It's All Coming Apart

Despite Government propaganda and manipulated statistics to the contrary, our economy continues to deteriorate. For every "green shoot" highlighted by the Government and its lackey media, multiple contra-examples are cited by independent analysts.

To continue to deny reality risks credibility. Perhaps that is why S&P, arguably a sock-puppet of Wall Street, on Monday made its announcement regarding the financial condition of the US.

As reported by the Wall Street Journal:Standard & Poor's Ratings Services Inc. cut its outlook on the U.S. to negative, increasing the likelihood of a potential downgrade from its triple-A rating, as the path from large budget deficits and rising government debt remains unclear.

I'm not sure many folks appreciate the significance of this S&P announcement. It precedes the next big announcement which will be a downgrade of our S&P rating - and when that happens, we will see devastating results. And its a guarantee. Take a look at this statement:

The S&P judgment was as unexpected as a terminally-diagnosed patient finally reaching his final destination. Reaction by the political class to the "death" is likely to be characterized by the Claude Rains gambit: "I'm shocked, shocked!" How could anyone have seen this coming? Actually, the only surprise is why S&P waited so long to report on the obvious and why it didn't also remove the Triple A credit-rating of US debt. That downgrade of debt will follow eventually. Apparently S&P doesn't want to pronounce a corpse dead until it is put into the ground.

That pretty much says it all doesn't it?

Economic damage over the last several decades is structural, yet decision-makers continue to treat the problem as a normal, albeit severe, economic cycle. The US economy and many other world economies are in a debt death spiral.

Academic economic nostrums are ill-equipped to deal with this problem. Structural debt problems are not part of their model. As a result Keynesians prescribe more spending (and more debt), further poisoning the economic patient. These economic charlatans know no other medicine.

In the meantime we spiral downward as life slowly ebbs from the economy. There is no way out except to recognize the level of debt is not supportable. Excess debt must be liquidated in order for the economy to recover. That requires pay-downs and defaults, not bailouts. There will be lots and lots of defaults. There is no other way.

The ship is going down, and the politicians in charge are pretending that all is well, and we really need to focus on polishing the rails of the ship and making sure the windows are clean. Meanwhile, the ship continues to sink while nothing is done to correct the "sinking" aspect.

Instead, the political class and their economic epigones insist on treating the problem as just another cyclical event. Easy money, stimulus and all the other Keynesian nostrums are useless. They are what brought us to this point.

Massive amounts of debt must be liquidated.

The charade that government can solve this problem may continue for a while. So might the notion that the government cannot go bankrupt. Yet both beliefs are false and will be seen to be so. Spending, hiring, and investment will be unresponsive to anything the government may or can do.

The myth of government is breaking down around the world. For those with 20-20 vision, the Emperor is already seen sans clothes.

But as mentioned before, the stage is being set for a "world savior" to appear and seemingly have fix for these global problems - problems that currently seem insurmountable.

Unfortunately, the world will pick the wrong leader. They will realize it only after it is too late:

"... for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying "Peace and safety", destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman and they will not escape." (1 Thessalonians 5:2-3)

"He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God." (2 Thessalonians 2:4)

"He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation." (Revelation 13:7)

The stage is being set for his appearance, and the time is ripe.

We are most definitely approaching the very last days.

But that's a good thing for the Bride!

Maranatha!

This is an incredibly painful time for any who love Israel and especially those who have lost loved ones in this perpetual attack. With tears I report that the 16 year old boy on schoolbus hit by a tank mortar fired from Gaza died from his injuries Sunday evening. I never met my dad because of these terrorists.

The American Thinker is a great source that you have turned me on to Scott. That was an excellent article and I love the comment section.

While it is painful to watch America dismantled and plunged into the economic abyss, it moves us to the doorstep of our Lord's return. We can now see the door open to the the coming 7 year tribulation and what we see sure isn't pretty. The white horse rider of Revelation 6 is mounted and ready to ride.

Come Lord Jesus, WVBORN56

Anonymous--I'm so sorry about your loss. It is very difficult watching Israel being surrounded by Her enemies but God will stand before His Wife, the tiny nation Israel, and demand the lives of the wicked. They will have to give an accountability for trying to divide her.

If you believe in Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you will soon join Him at the Wedding Feast, a day in which we will finally be free of the shackles of sin and the evil one will no longer be in our presence. Selah!

Anon-I'm terribly sorry for your loss; and watching Israel surrounded by rabid enemies who only want to see death and destruction is painful. This is the same reason that God declared that his hot anger is aroused.
I think we can all relate to that.
