"PA State" in September? Will the U.S. Abandon Israel?

Genesis 12:3 keeps coming to mind; you know, that scripture in which God definitively states that He will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel. And related to that, is God's judgment of those nations who attempt to divide Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:3). These scriptures need to be kept in mind as we read the articles below:

Obama to recognize Palestinian state with 1967 borders in UN vote

A reported willingness by the White House to vote for the creation of a Palestinian state in the UN signals unprecedented trust issues with Netanyahu’s government and will likely exacerbate US-Israeli relations.

One of the newspaper’s head commentators, Nahum Barnea, stated that “senior” US officials attribute the president’s latest stance to “the revolutions storming the Arab world.”

This coupled with resentment at Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu for failing to take genuine steps towards a settlement with the Palestinians reportedly inspired the president to adopt his latest position.

Barnea expects relations between Washington and Tel Aviv to head down a rather dangerous road, wherein “a US approval for the declaration of a Palestinian state would cause confusion and extreme embarrassment for Israel.”

Israeli security sources reportedly stated that “a UN decision to recognise a state of Palestine would turn the Jewish settlers in the West Bank into outlaws” with regard to international law. Nevertheless, the presence of the Israeli army in the West Bank has been and will continue to be considered a breach of UN resolutions.

And we see related articles which confirm the ideas above:

Palestinian State in September? This would be a Terrible Mistake

As international support builds for the Palestinians to unilaterally declare their own state at the U.N. General Assembly opening session in September, I am growing increasingly concerned the President Obama is preparing to endorse such a move and even push for it.

Bible prophecy makes it clear that in the last days the nations of the world will divide up the land of Israel. But the Scriptures are also crystal clear that the nations will face the judgment of Almighty God for doing so.

“For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them to the Valley of Jehoshaphat ["the Lord judges"]. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land.” (Book of Joel 3:1-2).

Let the nations be warned by the God of Israel: they are on a dangerous and disastrous road. Let us pray they turn around before it is too late

One could wish the clear warning of the Bible would be enough to dissuade the President from dividing the land of Israel. I am not sure it will. Perhaps sheer politics will help. A new poll shows that 51% of Americans oppose a unilateral declaration, and only 31% supporting one. Nevertheless, the President and his senior advisors don’t seem to be listening to the Lord, or the people on this one.

PA Says US Needs to Move Fast on 'Peace Plan'

The United States needs to hasten its plan to revive Middle East talks before the Palestinian Authority moves to seek recognition as a state, a spokesman for PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas said on Wednesday.

"It's time for the American administration to move before September," Reuters quoted spokesman Nabil Abu Rdainah as saying.

The statement follows closely on the heels of today's PA request to Western officials for $5 billion dollars to launch a state with.

Taken together, the two moves indicate that the PA is practicing brinkmanship, in effect saying "hold us back" and warning the US that if it does not browbeat Israel into making concessions, it will plow ahead with the plan to declare a PA state unilaterally

This summer promises to be very interesting, September in particular.

Egypt will have their elections, presumably placing the Muslim Brotherhood in control.

The arms build-up in both Lebanon, Syria and Gaza is undeniably happening for the purpose of invading Israel.

Iran's leadership, including Ahmadinejad is promising the imminent return of the Mahdi, and to see this, war needs to be taking place in and around Israel.

And perhaps more importantly, September is the deadline to have created a "PA State" with Israel's cooperation, and if not, then such a state - including new Israeli borders - will be forcibly imposed by the UN.

Any of these factors could easily serve as the tipping point.

We are headed into uncharted waters this summer. Things are getting very interesting for the prophecy watcher as we await the coming of the only true Messiah - Christ Jesus.

I can't help but think Israel will be making some tough decisions well before Palestine is recognized. Decisions that will include military strikes. It's clear as day that the US is not going to side with Israel and I fear the foolish decisions that are being made. Israel has been providing the US with intel in the middle east and I fear that they will be reluctant to continue to do so. If that should transpire, be prepared to see increased terrorism. The Lord can't come soon enough. This world is filled with darkness.

Scott you pull it all together better than any other site I visit and I visit many.

It is just so crystal clear that the return of the Lord is at hand. Everything on multiple fronts are all coing together at the same time.

Thank you Jesus for some reason allowing me to see your mighty prophetic hand at work in these very last of the last days. And yet, so little of my friends, family or the world seems to see or care.

Not that I am Noah but any stretch of the imagination....but I can at least relate to how he must have felt as he sounded the warning of God's impending wrath.

Praying that many come to Christ while there is still time and praying for the protection and for the peace of Jerusalem and the Jewish prople.

Even if Obama does veto it, the PA says it will try to push it through approval by using UN Resolution 377 Uniting for peace resolution. Dark days indeed.

Anon - Thats how I see things playing out. A general UN resolution will do this, independent from the Security Council - although the way things are going, the security council would probably approve it anyway.

WV - many thanks. I totally agree about Noah - I was saying that the other day in fact --- I can only imagine what his 100 year wait was like. And you are also right about the lateness of the hour, I couldn't agree more.
And perhaps more importantly, I too thank God almost every day that He has allowed me to live during this era and have an awareness of His hand via prophecy.

Gearedup - America is done. Stick a fork in us - Soros' plan has been essentially fulfilled. Congrats to him.

Al we have now is the Lord and His return. Come quickly Lord....

Scott~ stick a fork in us~ couldn't have said it any better. Thank you for being the watchman that you are. May your ministry reach millions for Christ.

Thanks gearedup - That would be terrific, but I don't think there is much time left; I really don't. I think we could be down to a matter of months now. It'll be awesome to go back home won't it?
I'll save you a seat at the wedding supper :)

Scott, I am so glad you see as a matter of months too and had the wisdom to say so. I whole heartedly agree. That is so refreshing to hear someone say so. I know we are constantly scolded for being that specific. Jesus only said we would not know the day or hour. What good really is a vague warning to the flock if we can read the signs but not sound the warning? We are not saying it is this year for sure but the signs are currently indicating that it must be very very soon and yes within months. God Bless! I plan to give you a high five and maybe even a manly hug very soon.

Hey, about the whole microcip thing. Up here in Canada, idk about the USA, but the bank is making us switch to debit cards with the new chip technology. We will need a new debit card, PIN # etc. Not sure if it's happening in the USA, but it seems like conditioning of the masses.

Hey Scott! I think that if it's up to us, when the rapture happens me, you and the regular visitors of this site should meet together somewhere in paradise and celebrate christs victory.

WV - I really believe that events in the Middle East will precipitate things - and because this September date keeps coming up - its hard to see overt war not breaking out around that time.

So either we'll get taken up via the Rapture, or we will be here to see the hand of God, in action. Wow.

LOL on the man hug! Indeed.

And as ANON said above, I actually believe that prophecy watchers will be gathered together; not sure why, its just something I believe....

My brother and I are meeting under the Tree of Life - I invite all prophecy watchers to come by :) (I'm actually serious)...

Dylan - I agree brother.

I have a question. I don't quite understand how there is no time or seasons in heaven. I totally believe it, but I don't fully understand it. I was wondering if you could help me understand it more?

Scott yes I agree we have both the economy and the ME impending war preicted for this summer. Then consider the September date for the potential peace agreement which incidently coincides with Rosh Hashanna. That would allow for the second coming of Jesus to coincide with a Jewish feast.

Throw in the coming world economic melt down... bringing us to the brink of Revelation 6 and the white horse. The rapture could be the tipping point that could easily set all this into motion.

Finally Jesus said He would come back as in the times of Noah (business as usual) and as a thief in the night. I don't think it is going to business as usual much longer.

I saw a commercial about a thing for seniors, that when they fall, it automatically alerts the company. Im not saying it's bad (in fact it's a good thing In my opinion) but it shows that we are already tracking our seniors. Like I said earlier, "conditioning of the masses". Or maybe I'm just seeing things that aren't there.

Scott said...

Dylan
I read an article the other day that said - basically - we can easily be tracked now, through a variety of methods - cell phone are one way.

And anybody with OnStar (Chevy) - can make a call and in seconds they'll tell you exactly where you are.

That, and the number of cameras everywhere - we're already being tracked (although it will get worse indeed).

WV - thats something that gets mentioned at my house a lot - ie, the reference that it won't be the 'days of Noah' much longer, and thats an excellent point IMO.

Dylan, as far as seasons in heaven, I just think thats a reference to the fact that we are in a different dimension (this is just my belief) and in such a place there is no concept of time, and w/o an 'earth' rotating around a sun - we wouldn't have seasons.

If you ever read stories of Christians who have 'died' and been brought back by CPR - they will say that the five minutes that they were "dead" could have been much much longer in their 'place"...Its deep - maybe a physicist could comment :)

dylayn-i once saw a pastor who was a rocket scientist/nuclear physicist give a great talk on it. im sorry i cant remember his name but here is the basic premise. God himself is the center of the universe. the universe constantly expands outward from the center. so think a wagon wheel.God is in the center. God can see all of time (the outer portion of the wheel) so if he looks say to the left-he might see Abraham preparing to sacrifice his son.to the right he might see Armaggedon. straight ahead he sees us right now. like looking at a circular time line. thats also theoreticly how he also knew if we accepted Christ or not before the beggining of time. i hope that somehow helps.-ally

Many moons ago; before I really understood the permanence of Salvation, I used to grieve and pray for my loved one's, really afraid they would be lost. I refused to be comforted, even by Scripture, and I could not grasp how God could know the end from the beginning.

One day I had a memory of standing on the corner of a road as the Carnival went past. It was only that bit of the procession I could see as it twisted and snaked through the town. Then I looked up into the sky, and overhead was a helicopter, hovering while taking pictures for the newspaper.

At that instant, I knew the Lord was showing me he was like the helicopter, and from his position, he could see life’s procession as it passed through time, whereas we can only see the bit where we are living. That piece of knowledge put paid to all my doubts and I relaxed into the Grace of God

MANY years later, I heard a great bible teacher describe the same scene and I marvelled that The Lord would actually bother to explain it to someone like me as well.

It’s a strange thought that where Genesis 1:1 says ‘In the beginning…’ is God’s creation of time itself!

God bless

Hey just wanted to share this: 2011: September 28 (at sundown) - begins Rosh Hashana (Hebrew new Year "no man knows the day or the hour") Tradition was to send out two witnesses to watch for the new moon because as hebrews say no man knows the day or hour...Just like Christ said.

Moon Phases, September 2011
New Moon – September 27, 11:09
I would like to share something I noticed not sure if it means much but... A Hebrew generation was usually 70 years The bible says that this generation would not pass away they would see these times. Start from when Israel became a nation 2011-1948=63 years + 7 years tribulation= 70 years.
love what your doing here brother..keep watching I will meet you all under the tree of life.
Your Sister In Christ,
Josette

And most importantly I forgot to add when those two witnesses saw the arrival of the new moon they sounded the trumpet..Praise God how fitting.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thess. 4:16-17
