Red flag of revenge raised in Iran after Haniyeh's death

Red flag of revenge raised in Iran after Haniyeh's death

A video was shared on social media showing an Iranian TV channel's broadcast from outside Jamkaran Mosque, which is one of the primary significant mosques in Jamkaran, a village in the outskirts of the city of Qom.

The TV channel had a black line on the side of the screen which is known to be placed when an important figure dies. Quran was played in the background and a small picture of Ismail Haniyeh was seen in the right corner of the screen.

In the clip, posted on X, a man was seen to raise the "red flag of revenge" on the top of the mosque. This comes as the Iranian supreme leader threatened to revenge the killing of the Hamas leader in Tehran.
