Syria Arming Hezbollah With Soviet-Era Tanks, IDF On High Alert

Report: Syria arming Hezbollah with 75 Soviet-era tanks

The Syrian army has given dozens of Soviet-era tanks to the Islamist Hezbollah organization to help battle its enemies, Kuwaiti newspaper Alrai reported Saturday.

According to the report, the move comes as Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and Russia have launched a “joint operations room” to coordinate their campaign to defeat the extremist Islamic State group, which has captured swathes of Syrian territory during the country’s four-year civil war, as well as the opposition groups, some linked to al-Qaeda, seeking to overthrow Syrian President Bashar Assad.

The newspaper quotes official sources as saying that each party will be responsible for particular areas of Syria, with Russia operating in Latakia, Hama and some parts of the Aleppo province, while Iran will be defending the capital Damascus and down to Quneitra on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights. The report also states that some 100 Iranian special forces trained in urban warfare have arrived in Damascus

Hezbollah will reportedly be taking up positions around Homs, where the ancient city of Palmyra — now largely decimated by Islamic State — is located. The Syrian army has received substantial support from thousands of fighters dispatched from Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Lebanon — and most notably fellow Iranian client Hezbollah.

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces has been preparing for a possible ground operation on the Syrian side of the Golan in the event of sustained rocket strikes or coordinated terror attacks against Israel either by Sunni jihadists or Hezbollah.

The number of Islamists flooding into the area close to the border with Israel has the IDF on high alert, Channel 2 reported last month, adding that the military had held a large-scale drill simulating a possible advance into Syria and the evacuation of Israeli civilians from border communities

The reported deployment of tanks comes less than a week after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saidRussian President Vladimir Putin had voiced no opposition to a warning during their meeting in Moscow on Monday that Israel would act “to thwart the deadly weapons transfers from the Syrian army to Hezbollah.”
Netanyahu said that he told Putin in “no uncertain terms” that Israel would not tolerate Iranian efforts to arm Israel’s enemies in the region, and that Jerusalem has taken and will continue to take action against any such attempts. “There were no objections to our rights and to what I said. On the contrary: there was readiness to make sure that whatever Russia’s intentions for Syria, Russia will not be a partner in extreme actions by Iran against us.”

Ahead of their meeting, as they made statements to the press, Netanyahu told Putin that Iran and Syria have been arming Hezbollah with advanced weapons, thousands of which are directed at Israeli cities. “At the same time, Iran, under the auspices of the Syrian army, is attempting to build a second terrorist front against us from the Golan Heights.”

The prime minister told his Russian host that Israel’s policy is to prevent these weapons transfers “and to prevent the creation of a terrorist front and attacks on us from the Golan Heights.” Netanyahu came to the Kremlin to “clarify our policies, and to make sure that there is no misunderstanding between our forces,” he said.

The United States has already been checkmated in Syria. Russia has already gained a firm military foothold in the Middle East and as the reader will soon discover, China is sending some of its military in support of Russia’s effort in Syria as part of a newly forming BRICS coalition being put together to ostensibly destroy ISIS. The real purpose of these moves is designed to have China and Russia take over the Middle East. These events should not come as any surprise as China and Russia have openly announced their hostility toward the United States for the past three years.

How serious are the Chinese and Russians at standing up to the imperialistic United States? Considering that both Chinese President Hu and Major General Zhang Zhaozhong have threatened the United States with nuclear war if they invade Iran, the prudent opinion says that this is the newest version of the “Axis of Evil’s” line in the sand, and it has been clearly drawn. While many eyes are on Ukraine, the real prize and the key to the solvency of the BRICS is Iran and its willingness to accept gold for oil payments. Protecting Syria is the first line of defense, because all roads to invading Iran and ending the threat to the Petrodollar run through Syria. And America’s worst nightmare, a joint Middle Eastern military partnership between Russia and China, is about to become a reality.

In a potentially stunning development, the Al-Masdar Al-‘Arabi, (AKA) The Arab Source, is reporting that a Chinese warship recently passed through the Suez Canal three days ago,  and is headed to Syria to assist the Russians military fight against ISIS. The news source refers to ISIS as “US proxies trying to overthrow the al-Assad government”.

This news comes on the heels of the recent arrival of Russian military personnel which arrived at the Syrian port-city of Tartous. This is a potentially catastrophic development given the fact that the US admits to having Special Operations Forces on the ground in Syria as well and soon-to-be presence of the Chinese military to Syria provides more insight into their contingency. The foundational structure, which will comprise the elements of World War III are nearly in place. Syria will be the flash point for World War III, followed by a Russian invasion of the Baltic states. Some has suggested that the Russians are borrowing from a page in the US military strategy and they are beginning to build a coalition of forces in Syria. In other words, Russia will not be confronting ISIS alone. This is similar to the US plan of forming a “coalition” of forces.

Not Far From the Kingdom

Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell ... give ... and follow me. – Mark 10:21

Jesus loves every one, but there was something in this young man that specially drew out His affection. He saw in him many amiable qualities, many elements of beauty of character, many things that by divine grace could be made into great loveliness and power. There are many thoughts suggested by this statement. Here are a few of them: — Christ loves those who are not His disciples; some people think He loves only those who have begun to love Him. Christ is deeply interested in every young man; He beholds the possibilities in every young life. He sees lovable things even in the unsaved; but amiable qualities are not enough to save one.

Our Lord’s answer to the young man’s question is very instructive. What is the one thing which, besides all we can do for ourselves by obedience and cultivation of character, makes one a Christian? It is important to be able to answer this question, for it is often asked. A man says: “I live as well as Christians do. I attend church; I keep the commandments; I am kind to my family and generous to the needy and poor; I live conscientiously in all things. What do I lack?”

What shall we answer him? Shall we tell him to sell his farm of his property and give all he has to the poor? Was that the one essential thing in the Master’s counsel to this young man? No: the essential thing was following Christ; the selling and giving away were but parts of this. The young mans heart was attached to his wealth, and the “one thing” was to take Christ instead of his wealth. So we should answer our inquirer by telling him that he must accept Christ as his Saviour and Lord, that he must lay his money and all that he has at Christ’s feet, to be used only for Him and as He directs, and must take Christ as his sole portion for ever.

IS conflict: France launches air strikes in Syria

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-34372892

With all this buildup in Syria they should have ISIS out within the week you would think. U.S., Russia, France, Israel, and China. This is completely nuts. Someone is going to get in the crossfire.
