In The News: Saturday

Today's news seem like a departure from the prophetically related 'normal' news cycle.

As far as the Pope is concerned, I personally don't have strong feelings regarding his potential ties to biblical prophecy. Having said that, there are some interesting news stories regarding this Pope that shouldn't be ignored - especially in these last days. As usual, the reader can decide - I just present whats "out there" in circulation. To ignore controversial views as we watch the world around us, based on a premise of political correctness, in my opinion borders on irresponsible. This Pope could end up being the most "Godly", soul-winning Pope to ever enter the Vatican. That possibility exists. He also could end up being highly destructive. We just don't know at this point.

The controversial move comes in response to recent aggression from the pariah state led by tyrant dictator Kim Jong-un
Earlier today the communist nation caused international anger when it reportedly fired short-range missiles close to Japan.
Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel is expected to reveal tonight the deployment of 14 ground based missile interceptors on the US West Coast.
The move will also involve the re-opening of a missile field in Alaska, and some based in California.
It would take two years for all of the systems to come online.
Today's short-range missiles launches into the sea of Japan are the latest in a string of aggressive acts by Kim Jong-un and is sure to further escalate tensions in the region.
And although no one is thought to have been killed the missile firing has enraged the international community.
It comes just a week after Kim Jong-un vowed to launch a nuclear strike on the US and a month after they conducted secret underground nuclear tests, causing a huge earthquake.
The missiles used in this firing are presumed to be the KN-02 short-range type, which have a reach of about 75 miles.
Details were apparently leaked to a South Korean news agency by a source within the South’s military.
They said: “The launch was seen as testing its capability for short-range missiles.

Below we can see Ann Barnhardt weighing in on the new Pope. Suffice it to say, she is not happy (keeping in mind, this is the opinion of one person):

Next, he's a Jesuit. Now, I must disclose that I have a deep personal, seething, visceral hatred of Jesuits, but my hatred of them is a corollary to the fact that they long ago descended into truly evil heresies and apostasy. Jesuits, in addition to being a cult of sodomites who hate God, are also … wait for it … Marxists. Now Francis has in the past put up some token resistance to so-called "Liberation theology", which is just Communist Totalitarianism in religious drag, but he is huge, huge, huge on "social justice", which is merely code for Marxism. This guy's worldview revolves around giving people free stuff because it's nice, which as we have discussed is contrary to logic and reason, specifically in the subset of mathematics, and thus is contrary to Our Lord who is FIRST the Logos, with the Divine Caritas (charity) proceeding out of the Logos. Bottom line, there will be zero positive assistance to the world from Francis with regards to the inevitable economic collapse. Not only will there be nothing helpful coming from him, he will almost certainly come out in favor of more debt, more "free stuff", and more rhetoric about how people are "entitled" to physical and service commodities (which are someone else's man-hours, remember) as "rights".

And this article is getting some attention and is linked at a variety of sites:

According to the prophecy of St. Malachy,  Petrus Romanus has arrived.  Pope Francis I, formerly known as Jorge Mario Bergoglio, was the son of an Italian railroad worker from Turin, Italy. While those of shallow vision will be quick to point out “his name is not Peter,” prophecy is often fulfilled enigmatically in a manner not entirely clear until it is resolved. For example, who could have known that “labor of the sun” John Paul II would be buried during eclipse until his papacy had ended? We have stated from the beginning that the title “Peter the Roman” was likely symbolic.

Paramount is the fact that he is the first ever Jesuit pope. This has great prophetic significance as the Jesuit order was formed to specifically to combat the protestant reformation and assert papal supremacy over the entire world. According to a historian, “The Jesuits were the soldiers of the pope: they knew no law but the will of their general, no mode of worship but the pope’s dictate no church but themselves.” [3] Because of this, the Jesuit order was suppressed and disbanded for its pernicious skullduggery by Pope Clement XIV in 1773 and by the mid-eighteenth century, the Jesuits had earned a bad reputation in Europe for political maneuvering and economic exploitation bar none. Interestingly, Pope Benedict XVI addressed the Jesuit order in 2008 encouraging them reinvigorate the fourth vow. He said,

For this very reason I have invited you and also invite you today to reflect in order to rediscover the fullest meaning of your characteristic “fourth vow” of obedience to the Successor of Peter, …[4]
The fourth vow of obedience to the pope is one of “absolute subservience to the pope; to do whatever he enjoined, and go on any service he wished, and into any quarter of the globe.”[5] A few ex-Jesuits have called this a blood oath involving pagan rites which were laid bare in the suppressed document “Jesuit Extreme Oath of Induction” which was recorded in records of the U.S. Congress. According to this document, they are indoctrinated into the principle of IUSTUM, NECAR, REGES, IMPIOUS:
When a Jesuit of the minor rank is to be elevated to command, he is conducted into the Chapel of the Convent of the Order, where there are only three others present, the principal or Superior standing in front of the altar. On either side stands a monk, one of whom holds a banner of yellow and white, which are the Papal colours, and the other a black banner with a dagger and red cross above a skull and crossbones, with the word INRI, and below them the words IUSTUM NECAR REGES IMPIUS. The meaning of which is: It is just to exterminate or annihilate impious or heretical Kings, Governments, or Rulers.[6]
While modernists surely prefer more subtle methods,  we address the Jesuit’s who make up the Vatican Observatory Research Group in some detail in our new book Exo-Vaticana and offer some surprising revelations as to what might entice the entire world to unite under the new pontiff.  Even so, other researchers document an ongoing militaristic campaign:
Today the Jesuit Order has about 19.000 members. Of the about 13.500 priest members, some have taken the 4th vow secret oath in which killing a ‘heretic’ is not considered a crime. The ranks of Jesuits are thinning; From 36,000 members at the order’s zenith in the mid-1960′s, to 26,000 in 1983, to 23,000 in 1995 [10]. The Jesuits are geographically organized by 91 provinces (61?), which each belong to one of 10 assistancies around the world.
The Military Order of Malta has about 12.500 members (excluding volunteers), and Opus Dei has about 26,000 celibate members (excluding volunteers).
The Vatican-Jesuit-Masonic crusades, up to our present time, show their criminal “full-spectrum dominance” doctrine is effectuated all over the world by:
War, genocide and depopulation (recent examples: Canadian natives genocide between 1880-1984, the “Vatican managed Serbian genocide during WWII” with an ongoing US court case, and the ongoing Shia Muslim genocide in Iraq with over 1.217.892 deaths)
Political subversions
Economic slavery
Poor quality nutrition, healthcare and housing
Government propaganda (via education, media, science, and religion)
Suppression of sovereignty, consciousness and spirituality. [7]
In Petrus Romanus we stated our belief that the name “Peter the Roman” implies this pope “will reaffirm the authority of the Roman Pontiff over the Church” and “will emphasize the supremacy of the Roman Catholic Faith and the Roman Catholic Church above all other religions and denominations, and its authority over all Christians and all peoples of the world.”[8] This seems in line with the Jesuit agenda.

Threats to Israel from Syria and Iran:

“The damages of the imminent fall of Syria are very high for both Iran and Hezbollah,” he said.
“Iran is losing a sole ally in the region surrounding Israel. It will lose the ability to transfer weaponry through Syria to Hizbollah.
"Iran and Hizbollah are also preparing for the day after Assad’s fall, when they will use this army to protect their assets and interest in Syria.

Iranian officials have previously acknowledged the presence of forces from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Syria as advisers but have denied intervening in the conflict.
Maj Gen Kochavi also said Mr Assad was preparing to use Syria’s stockpile of chemical weapons, which Israel fears could fall into the hands of Jihadist fighters or Hizballah in the event of his regime crumbling.
“Assad continues to assert his control of Syria’s chemical weapons, air force, and military hardware,” he said.
“[He] is making advance preparations to use chemical weapons. He did not give the order yet, but is preparing for it.”

Signs of our times:

In a recent interview with The Independent, Nicole Sherzinger – the former lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls – discussed the music industry and what is truly needed to make it. According to her, female pop stars who receive “industry love” must obey orders, forget about their values and accept to be slutty. In short, they must be willing participants of the elite’s Agenda. In Sheringer’s words: ” To make it, you really have to sell your soul to the devil”. This phrase is often used by celebrities who discuss the industry (see the article When Insiders Expose the Ugly Side of the Entertainment Industry) and its meaning can be a lot more literal than most would expect. Indeed, making it in the industry does not only imply doing things you don’t feel like doing – it implies going against the very morals and values you grew up with. Even worse, it implies submitting to the dark forces ruling the industry and all of the spiritual sacrifices that come with it.

Thank you Scott, for hosting a blog where controversial views can be discussed. It is nice to know that we don't need to be politically correct, but rather speak the truth (as we see it; influenced and colored by our reading of Scripture) in love.

Read the blog by Ann Barnhardt in its entirety. Interesting POV from an apparently born-again practicing Catholic. She articulates the connection between the Jesuits and marxism/socialism very well.

Will this pope guide the post-rapture Catholic church during the Tribulation? Time will tell. The post-rapture Catholic church very well could be "the woman who rides the Beast" of Revelation Ch. 17. From what I've read from scripture and different commentators, the false prophet arises from the earth or land (Rev. 13:11-12), emblematic of Israel.

The take home point of all this Malachy prophecy business (which is the basis of the speculation about the new pope), is that - If people are curious and seeking the Lord because they think that we might be on the last pope, then praise be to God! God used the 2008 U.S. presidential election to get my attention about the truth of Bible Prophecy and I know God is using the election of Pope Francis to do the same for others. Time is much shorter than it was 5 years ago. God has allowed the world a new Pope (who might be the last?), and Easter is just around the corner too. Great openings to have conversations about HIM.

I've never heard of Ann Barnhardt before, so in curiosity, looked her up.

Yes, she makes some interesting points about Marxism and perhaps she's right abut Jesuits. However, I can honestly say, the two Jesuit priests who conducted my one on one catechism classes during my teen years were two of the most sincere, humble people I can honestly say I've ever known.

But here's my biggest problem with what she has to say, and frankly, negates everything else that may or may not be true.

In her own words:

Next, he is an "ecu-maniac", which is to say that he is in the "all religions are equal and can't we all just get along" camp. In Buenos Aires he knelt before and received the "blessing" of a Superfun Rockband Church "pastor", and even received "communion" from a Protestant. There are pictures floating around of that episode. This is terrifying. He clearly does not have a strong belief in or understanding of Our Lord, His Church, the Mass or the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Eucharist. But, as I have stated repeatedly, almost none of the men ordained in the 1960s, 70s or 80s do.

She defines "ecu-maniac" as one who reaches out to Christians outside the Catholic Church. :""blessing" of a Superfun Rockband Church "pastor" as though Pastors from non-denominational churches aren't worthy to bless a Catholic . . .or this: "and even received "communion" from a Protestant". As if a Protestant isn't worthy to even wipe his shoes, let alone offer communion to a Catholic.

But that she has a "deep personal, seething, visceral hatred of Jesuits" tells me, she lacks even a basic understanding of Grace and the work of Jesus on the cross. He was all about love and everything He did, He did out of love for us All, not just Catholics, as she obviously believes.

I turned from The Church in 2008, or maybe they turned from me . . .but that void was what the Holy Spirit used to draw me to true Salvation.

Only time will tell if this Pope's willingness to reach out to Christians of other faith traditions, and his history of helping the poor are genuine or a deceptive plot to gain the trust of the world . . .but let's all pray that God's will be carried out and His plan in control. We don't need Malachi's prophetic words to tell us what time it is.

I believe that part of "watching" is watching everything possible - not everything will necessarily have prophetic significance at the end of the day, but you don't know as things are evolving. But as I have said before - I'd rather cast a wide net than a shallow one.

I also haven't said this for a while - but just because I post a link doesn't mean that I endorse the author or agree with everything they say or do.

It all fits. I know we all have our own opinions about this pope...but
I have made my choice. as far as
I am concerned, the FALSE PROPHET
is in power....and has been since 13 MARCH 2013.

0n 3-13-13 at 8:13 at night.

assuming i am right, then that means the Rapture is very very
close. One must NOT forget this
guy's age, 76 going on 77.

not a joke, really.

and WE KNOW according to prophecy
that the FP and the AC will be
thrown ALIVE into the Lake...

so therefore, whoever THIS FP is,
he will NEED to survive that 7 years.

THAT IS what concerns me about
Mr. Francis.

Looks like Wall Street Bulls better
be ready to PACK THEIR BAGS and
RIDE the train out of town real
fast !!!!

I don't understand the whole pope deal. Stephen, what's your thoughts about Mr. Francis, and the AC? I feel sure the AC is on the scene and somewhere in waiting. I thought his age was quite high seeing as the last pope aged out. I was expecting someone alot younger. Who knows, maybe there is a coralation between the AC and the Vatican. I don't think the bride will be here when the AC is revealed, but maybe we will find out in heaven

Dear David >>>>

I believe the AC is the TOP MAN
in the UFM, Mr. Silijimasi.......

and he has 6 working under him.

HE is from Morocco....I have
noticed a RAPID P/U of activity
in the UFM JUST in the last week.

That in itself is ominous. The Vatican and the AC are most
definitely in TUNE with each other.

ie...one world religion

one world government

ect ect ect.

BUT THEY NEED a CRISIS to clinch
power and that I believe is a
stock crash and possibly the rapture.

IF the restrainer against EVIL is
out of the way, then it WOULD
MAKE SENSE that the devil will be
able to work more freely....

and quickly

the age of this Francis guy is
REALLY WHAT scares me....

also being #266

that TRIBULATION must be very close.

very close.....indeed....

it's almost like when I saw this
originally on Big Charts . com
I could hardly BELIEVE I was reading it, ie, the pope is resigning and ALL that has transpired since then.
(including the two lightning
strikes a few hours later on 11 FEB 2013.)
