The Rapture and "Skyline"

Hal Lindsey weighs in on the whole "UFO thing" and the upcoming movie "Skyline" in this video clip. This is very interesting and germane in light of this recent UFO obsession that we have been observing recently:

Rapture With God Not The "Skyline Aliens"

The whole key to this speculation, IMO, is what happens in the Middle East. I really believe that we're gone before Gog-MaGog - and it is hard to imagine the events precipitating Gog-MaGog WON'T occur within the next 12 months. Of course, having said that, I assumed (as did many) that war would break out this summer and it didn't.
I also believe that God is keeping the lid on things until HIS timing is right. Thats the "wild card" in this speculation --- because its almost incomprehensible that war hasn't already broken out.

More recently, I am wondering if this failed peace talks, with the recent surge in Israeli building projects (E Jerusalem and W Bank) may prompt the Arab groups to begin war - they are seeing their coveted land slipping away now faster than ever - and that alone may prompt them to invade Israel (again).....This just occurred to me this morning, when reading in the Jerusalem Post about the various building projects that now have the green light.

We'll see.

Re the 33 rescued miners in Chilli.

“…Another report notes that while still trapped in the mine, 19-year-old Jimmy Sanchez had written a letter that was sent up to the surface saying, "There are actually 34 of us, because God has never left us down here."

He won’t leave the Church ‘down here’ either – nearly our time to ‘go up’!

Scott,

This alien thing is really something. Up until I saw that Hal Lindsey program earlier this week, I have totally dismissed the theory that AC will potentially use aliens as a rapture explanation. I found it interesting, but I just couldn’t really believe something so preposterous would be accepted.

I have to say though, with all the talk about this UFO stuff seemingly coming out of the blue, pun intended, and being embraced by "rational" people, I am in agreement with Hal Lindsey that there seems to be a demonically inspired conditioning process underway. The premise of that movie in particular was really shocking.

I've considered writing about it too, but initially thought it was just too strange. Seeing the reaction of those New Yorkers the other day to all the UFOs over NY City was pretty strange too though. The fact is that what they saw was likely some sort of balloons, and if it wasn’t we know it was demonic not aliens, but the reaction of so many people that these are indeed aliens is shocking.

It simply blows me away! They totally disregard the Gospel. They dismiss that fact that the Bible teaches we are undeserving of Heaven, suppressing that truth to believe instead that they are good enough to deserve Heaven on their own- despite what their conscience tells them. They totally dismiss that God became a Man in the person of Jesus Christ for the purpose of redeeming us from the punishment we actually deserve- even though His coming was predicted hundreds and even thousands of years before He came, not to mention all the eyewitnesses of the resurrection. But they totally embrace that aliens are visiting us, and are likely the ones that created us- including Stephen Hawking.

I just can't understand it, except that the Bible warned us this day was coming. I understand that certain cultures void of the Gospel in both OT times and NT times would not understand the special revelation of God's truth. But a world that has lived with 2,000 of the Gospel being preached has no excuse for rejecting Christ.

Peter warned, “knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts.” 2Peter3:3. And Paul warned, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine…and be turned aside to fables.” 2Timothy4:3—4.

It is so amazing to be living in that time. Based on all these things, I truly believe the Restrainer is about to be removed: the great apostasy, the reemergence of Rome, the reemergence of Israel for that matter, the slowly but surely growing power center of Iraq/Babylon with their newly found oil, the Ezekiel 38 alliance in place, the Psalm 83 conspiracy about to attack, Isaiah 17 fulfillment being warned about in the news on a regular basis, all eyes on Jerusalem, the total disregard for the truth, the love of self being most important to people, the one world currency to be revealed soon, the one world government being talked about and planned constantly, the earthquakes (though they’ve been relatively quite lately), the elevation of the creation over the Creator…I can go on and on.

These things are happening, no doubt about it. So to add to what you’ve already said about the timing, is to remember the words of our Lord, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning—lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!” Mark13:32—37.

The signs are here, share the Gospel with as many as possible.

Also Joe (I'm in a hurry now, but to be brief) - I too used to dismiss the whole UFO thing - but its become SO prevalent these days, the books , the movies, the discussions, the radio talk shows etc...The videos that emerge. And everything we have been looking at over the past weeks.

I am beginning to believe that nothing else makes sense. In other words, I don;t believe that there are "aliens"...I don't believe that this is some sort of conspiracy (although some of the conspiracy theories are very compelling - and if it IS a conspiracy, then that too would fit in well with the AC "using" the UFO story...

But demonic/satanic deception seems to make the most sense and it seems to offer the most reasonable explanation, given the age in which we are living. Also the fact that 1947 really kicked off this whole thing (Roswell).

Speaking of the conspiracy theories - I still have some of hat stuff bookmarked - maybe I'll post on the interesting theories that are out there (primarily the technology to create this kind of deception).

Scott,

I'm with you on that. I have come to the point where I can't ignore all this alien talk. There are no real aliens, only angels and demons. But ever since the Tower of Babel days, the history of mankind has legends of "watchers" keeping track of us, which in modern days has turned into alien stories.

The fact that sane people are taking this seriously in our modern day is what's really causing me to believe this will be the lie used to explain the rapture. We can't be dogmatic about that, but it sure does seem to make sense, especially with the way it's pouring out into mainstream media sources.

The comparison that Skyline has to what we know of the rapture is absolutely uncanny.

It really is...The first time I saw that video clip promoting the movie, I was literally stunned at the closeness of the Rapture. Its just too close to be coincidental. Something is up with this whole thing, and I think we're on to it.

May 14, 2018 will mark 70 years since Israel became a nation. We all know that the generation that was alive at that time is the generation to see all biblical fulfillment of prophesy. We also need to remember to take away 7 years for the tribulation to run it's course. Without setting a date (God has promised that to be His doing) we can clearly see that He is at the door. Beth
