French President Macron: 'Use All Means If His Influence To Restore Calm'

FRENCH PRESIDENT EMMANUEL MACRON STEPS IN TO FACILITATE A PEACE TREATY BETWEEN HAMAS AND ISRAEL

French President Emmanuel Macron has spoken Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas about

the latest Mideast clashes and says he will speak soon with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin

Netanyahu as well as other regional leaders.

As night fell on the Middle East, a fresh, heavy barrage of rockets from Hamas fell as well numbering over 100 into the South at Ashdod and Ashkelon. The fresh barrage came as the IDF prepares for a possible ground offensive in Gaza and upped its airstrikes against Hamas and other terror groups in the Gaza Strip. On Thursday, the military called up 7,000 reservists as rocket barrages continue to pound the country. As the rockets exploded, Emmanuel Macron was on the phone with Mahmoud Abbas talking peace. Right on time.

FROM CHINA POST NEWS: A statement from Macron’s office on Thursday said the French president expressed condolences for Palestinians killed in the conflict with Israel. But he also condemned attacks by Hamas and urged Abbas to “use all means of his influence to restore calm as quickly as possible.”

MACRON URGED “A RETURN TO PEACE” AND “A DECISIVE RELAUNCH” OF PEACE NEGOTIATIONS. ALSO ON THURSDAY, A FEW DOZEN PEOPLE PROTESTED IN EASTERN PARIS TO SHOW SUPPORT FOR THE PALESTINIANS.
