Statement From The Lavoy Finicum Family

Prophecy Update takes an interest in this story because it reveals how far down the road to tyranny this nation is, in what was once the land of the free. If the U.S. has fallen this far, then it is symbolic of how far the world has fallen. Lets remember, these people were protesting the federal and unconstitutional land grab in the west, and were only asking for a fair hearing and that news relating to this topic would be publicized. Ultimately they were defending the constitution. Let that sink in.

As someone else asked ( I wish I could remember where I read this quote) - if you were watching this scenario play out - and you saw a group of FBI agents gathered on one end of the property and Lavoy Finicum and the others gathered nearby - which group would you feel safer approaching? Perhaps that says it all.

Below we first hear from the Finicum family and then we see the video clip of Mr. Finicum's death while described in detail. It is haunting and very unsettling. One has to ask the question "Is this shooting and death the only way this situation could have been resolved?

You decide. Another question which must be asked, is - why were they stopped on the road anyway, particularly in a remote area? Mr Finicum had been coming and going from the disputed land for some time - an arrest could have easily been made over the past weeks and done so in a peaceful manner, but for some reason that wasn't done. Why not?

Perhaps the saddest and most disheartening aspect of this entire incident, excluding this tragic and unsettling death, is the comment section of many news articles which relate to this story - where some people seem gleeful at this death and seem to be enjoying the fact that an American citizen was gunned down in a violent manner. Perhaps that is just another sign of this age, but it seems to confirm the idea that things will continue to worsen as we approach the Tribulation. It also recalls these passages:

"At that time many people will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other...Because of the increase in wickedness, the love of most will grow cold..."
(Matthew 24:3,5)

"But mark  this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be...abusive...unholy...without love...unforgiving...brutal...not lovers of the good..."
(2 Timothy 3: 1-5)
