America's Contribution To Armageddon, Pope Francis: All Religions "Meeting God In Different Ways", Plans For One World Religion

 America's Contribution To Armageddon

[This is another excellent commentary by Terry James ]

As written about before in this column, Israel remains strangely silent as all of the Arab and Iranian states around the tiny Jewish state begin to burn like a grass fire surrounding a log cabin. But Israel is no such inanimate, ordinary spectator. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the IDF know that Israel is the actual target when these wild men—as the Bible terms them—finally zero in on their most hated enemy. Israel’s trigger finger is on the ultimate weapon and will pull that trigger to defend itself.

Thus there is a cry for peace and safety by the likes of American Secretary of State John Kerry. It is really, however, a demand that Israel be disarmed and marginalized. This is so Kerry’s new friends, the Iranian Mullahs, can have their way, bringing, he and the rest of the world’s diplomatic fools believe, peace at last.

It is arguable to contend that the whole Middle East region would have been far better off if America had never gotten involved there. This is something that is said time and time again by those who want to blame George W. Bush and his father for committing troops to the region in two military actions. This is, at least in part, a mistaken contention, however. The Lord, Himself—it is obvious to students of history, when combined with study of Bible prophecy—determined that the United States would be a major part in the founding of modern Israel and a major physical agent of Israel’s protection.

The current American president and his ideological, leftist bedfellows display the reprobate thinking that comes from anti-God rebellion as forewarned in chapter one of Romans. A prime example of this upside-down lunacy is on display when thinking on the situation in the president’s dealings with both the nation of Iran and with the American people.

In the matter of Iran, Mr. Obama and his ilk indicate they think it is just fine to arm the Armageddon-planning Mullahs with nukes. This, despite the fact these madmen have stated time after time they plan to destroy the great Satan, and the little Satan (America and Israel). At the same time, the president and his leftist, political associates indicate they think it will make America safe by disarming American citizens by the threatened executive action on so-called “gun control.” The Iranian Mullahs can be trusted with nuclear weapons and their delivery systems that can destroy the world, but the American gun-owner can’t be trusted to have a Second Amendment-guaranteed right to own and bear arms.

Such insanity almost certainly is in the process of making our nation culpable in helping bring on man’s final war.
Thankfully, all of this means, as always, that Christ is about to call His church—all born-again believers—to the safe-shelter of their Heavenly home.
It is imperative, therefore, that all who belong to Jesus Christ determine to lift that name that is above every other. Thus, so that many who are lost will be drawn to the Lord. He is the only hope for those who are heading into the worst time in all of human history.

In his first-ever video declaring his “prayer intentions,” the Roman Catholic leader Jorge Bergoglio, also known as Pope Francis, called for dialogue and collaboration among those of the various world religions on Tuesday, asserting that they are simply “seeking or meeting God in different ways.”

“Most of the planet’s inhabitants declare themselves believers,” he states in the production released on the Feast of Epiphany. “This should lead to dialogue among religions. We should not stop praying for it and collaborating with those who think differently.”

The video then features clips of those from different world religions declaring belief in their various deities.

“I have confidence in Buddha,” a female lama announces.

“I believe in God,” a rabbi affirms.
“I believe in Jesus Christ,” a priest states.
“I believe in Allah,” an Islamic leader declares.

Francis contends that all the religions of the world simply represent mankind’s diversity in seeking God. He says that despite the differing beliefs, everyone is a child of the same God.
“Many think differently, feel differently, seeking God or meeting God in different ways,” he states. “In this crowd, in this range of religions, there is only one certainty that we have for all: we are all children of God.”

The video then provides footage of the pontiff meeting with and embracing those of various religions, including Buddhists, Islamists and Orthodox Jews. It again cuts to representatives of the world’s religions, who now declare the same statement: “I believe in love.”

“I hope you will spread my prayer request this month: that sincere dialogue among men and women of different faiths may produce fruits of peace and justice,” Francis states. “I have confidence in your prayers.”

But not everyone is supportive of the Vatican’s call for unity and common ground. Mike Gendron of Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries of Plano, Texas told Christian News Network that the pontiff’s assertions that all mankind is “seeking or meeting God in different ways,” and that all are children of the same God, are flawed.

“Tragically, those who do not know the Bible or who refuse to submit to it as the supreme authority for truth, will be deceived by the pope’s latest pronouncement,” he stated. “The pope’s assertion that all mankind meets with/seeks after the same God, just in different ways, is false according to the word of God. No one seeks for (the true) God (Rom. 3:11), but there are many who seek after false gods of their own imagination or false gods of their religious traditions. The only way to meet with the true God is His way, through the one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus (1 Tim. 2:5).”

“The word of God reveals that the human race is made up of people who are either children of God or children of the devil (1 John 3:10),” Gendron explained. “The Lord Jesus soundly rebuked the religious leaders of His day for refusing to believe the truth of His Word (John 8:440-43). Jesus told them that their father was the devil, who is the father of lies (John 8:44).”

“This remains true today,” he continued. “The god of this world has created a variety of religions to blind all of his children from the light of the Gospel and the glory of Christ (2 Cor. 4:4).”

Gendron, a former Roman Catholic, also opined that the pontiff’s ecumenicism is fulfilling prophesy about the formulation of a one world religion.
“As the pope continues to accelerate his ecumenical agenda to rebuild the religious tower of Babel, he will be fulfilling Bible prophecy. All the religions of the world already share a ‘works-righteousness’ salvation and they all are already united by a common spiritual bond,” he said.
“As we see the prophetic one-world religion forming, we know the children of the true God will have no part of it because they have been sanctified by the truth and sealed with the Holy Spirit (2 Thes. 2:13),” Gendron stated.

Yes, it’s mental illness.  It’s denial of known facts, not suspected or believed conditions or events, but facts.
Like, for instance, the Philly Mayor, who said the attack on an officer was “not linked to Islam” even though the shooter said, after being caught, he did it in the name of Islam.
I know people who refuse to deal with reality, no matter how bad it gets.  The “benign” forms of this sort of thing will frequently bankrupt you; they block you from acting when someone’s ripping you off wholesale and will eventually render you penniless.  Worse, the person doing the stealing may be doing so to fund some sort of bad (and very destructive) habit, a habit they could not afford to engage in without you.
But as an adult, you’re entitled to destroy yourself, whether financially, physically or otherwise.  I may lament it and if you’re someone I care about I may be very unhappy that you’re doing it, but I have no right to stop it because unless you’re insane, and most people afflicted with this are not, it’s a choice.
When said person, however, is a public policy figure such as a Mayor, and makes such a pronouncement, he or she is not just endangering themselves; they are in fact endangering and enabling harm done to you.
That is something that a society simply cannot tolerate.
This mayor must be forced from office and we must deal with the reality of people such as the apparent goon who allegedly perpetrated this assault.

China has landed a civilian aircraft on one of its manmade islands in the South China Sea as part of a series of tests that will eventually lead to the basing of military aircraft, say experts.
As reported by Reuters, the landing demonstrates that Beijing’s facilities in the hotly contested region are finishing on schedule and that military flights, inevitably, will come next.
According to various foreign officials and analysts, the increasing military presence by China in the region could eventually lead to a Beijing-controlled air defense zone, which would only increase tensions with resident nations in the area that also claim portions of the region, as well as the United States, which has vital economic interests in the South China Sea corridor.

One-fifth of all U.S.-bound trade transits the South China Sea annually; in all, $5 trillion worth of global trade transits those waters.
China has confirmed that a test flight by a civilian plane landed on an artificial island built in the Spratlys, the first time Beijing has used a runway in the area.
Vietnam said the plane landed on Jan 2 and launched a formal diplomatic protest, while Philippines Foreign Ministry spokesman Charles Jose said Manila was planning to do the same. Both have claims to the area that overlap with China.
That’s the fear, that China will be able take control of the South China Sea and it will affect the freedom of navigation and freedom of overflight,” Jose told reporters.
China has already warned off U.S. and other naval ships and planes in the region that approach its manmade islands, though the Obama administration and the Pentagon have regularly insisted that international law provides freedom of navigation in the region and that phony islands are not the same as sovereign ground.
Still, as the Council on Foreign Relations noted in 2012 that conflict in the area was a real possibility.
“The risk of conflict in the South China Sea is significant. China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, and the Philippines have competing territorial and jurisdictional claims, particularly over rights to exploit the region’s possibly extensive reserves of oil and gas,” said a CFR Contingency Planning Memorandum. “Freedom of navigation in the region is also a contentious issue, especially between the United States and China over the right of U.S. military vessels to operate in China’s two-hundred-mile exclusive economic zone (EEZ).”
Military landings on the islands are now “inevitable,” Leszek Buszynski, a visiting fellow at the Australian National University’s Strategic and Defence Studies Center, told Reuters.
“The next step will be, once they’ve tested it with several flights, they will bring down some of their fighter air power – SU-27s and SU-33’s – and they will station them there permanently. That’s what they’re likely to do,” he said.

Not that I think we will even be hear come the November 2016 election or the election will make much difference..... but who is everyone considering? It's clear on Facebook in my circle that Trump is not all that popular but most won't comment.... probably out of fear. I like him, Cruz and Carson. All the rest who have a chance appear to be either establishment or globalist candidates.

Keep looking up! Maranatha!

Perhaps Today :)

In agreement WV....Trump has the establishment upset, that makes me : )
I really like Cruz too....he will be marginalized by the MSM (both will be, but Trump has the resources to keep himself out there). I'm like you....don't think it will matter much even iff we are here.

Lance - I tend to agree....I like Cruz, but it makes me nervous that his wife is in the CFR and in big banking = thats a scary combo. Ultimately I don't think it will matter as far as I am concerned - but watching Trump make the establishment nervous is worth something :))
