They were warned

Just a few weeks ago, Israel issued a strong warning to Syria. The warning was directed to Syria, and the warning informed Syria not to supply Hezbollah with advanced anti-aircraft missiles, or "Damascus" would be held responsible. Israel clearly stated that such activity would not be tolerated and Israel would take definitive action against "Damascus" in the event of such action.

It looks like Syria has chosen to ignore these warnings:

"Report: US concerned Syria supplying Hezbollah with anti-aircraft missiles"

Israel News

"The American administration expressed its concerns to the French Foreign Ministry in light of increased arms transfer from Syria to Hezbollah, according to a report in London-based newspaper al-Hayat."

"According to the report, The US is particularly concerned that advanced weaponry, including land-to-air missiles are being handed over. The US also emphasized that Damascus has started equipping the group straight from the storehouses of the Syrian army. (Roee Nahmias)"

If the U.S. has made this observation, then you can bet Israel has as well.

Now the ball is in Israel's court. What will they do with this information?

Only time will tell, but Israel doesn't usually issue false threats - especially with Mr. Netanyahu in charge.

Stay tuned, this story is just beginning.
