Gulf countries will convene this evening to discuss a unified response to Iran’s attacks, two Gulf diplomats say, as Tehran presses on with a second day of strikes after US and Israeli attacks killed its supreme leader.
“It will be an online meeting of GCC foreign ministers due to the airport closures,” a Gulf diplomat tells AFP, requesting anonymity to discuss sensitive matters. He says the discussions will revolve around “Iranian attacks on Gulf states and coordination on a unified response.” Another Gulf diplomat confirms the information.
