Turkey’s meddling

Turkey’s meddling

Everyone is watching Iran and the U.S.-led strikes designed to topple that evil regime.

But we also need to keep our eyes on what is going on in Israel.

As Iran is decapitated and defanged, her proxies grow more desperate. This week it was revealed that Hamas sent a secret letter to Tehran, urging an uptick in terrorism everywhere. It’s not totally clear how much control Iran still has over that situation, although we are seeing disturbing signs that cells inside the U.S. are beginning to operate. Attacks on various synagogues are out there, too.

We also learned that Turkey is operating in Gaza, a completely outrageous situation. Turkey’s Erdogan, despite wearing suits, is as big a jihadist as there is in the world. A true believe in Islam, his menacing behavior is constant.

And then there are these two gem: A Hamas delegation visited Cairo and held talks with Egyptian officials and with representatives of the Board of Peace regarding implementation of the ceasefire agreement, and, the chairman of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, spoke to the Pope. Abbas said that once the war in Iran ended, an international peace conference should be convened to end the “Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and Arab territories in Lebanon and Syria.” (From a report by the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center.)

Turkey though is the biggest threat here. Washington should have forbade them from entering Gaza but didn’t.

A *cough “humanitarian relief agency, the IHH is operating inside Gaza, giving Erdogan eyes on the ground. They have zero benevolent intentions.

The Amit Center explains:

  • The Turkish IHH organization announced the launch of a project to clear rubble and open blocked roads in the Gaza Strip as part of reconstruction efforts, following the declaration of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The organization was involved in launching flotillas to the Gaza Strip, foremost of which was the Mavi Marmara flotilla which ended in a violent confrontation with IDF forces in May 2010 and the Global Sumud (“resilience”’) flotilla, which was halted by the IDF in October 2025.
