The Power To Destroy:

The Power to Destroy: Audits of us peasants dead ahead

Yes, American citizens will soon face 87,000 new IRS agents thanks to the passage of the laughably titled "Inflation Reduction Act" in which the expanded IRS will receive $80 billion in new funding over the next nine years. A significant number of these agents will be part of the IRS Criminal Investigation Unit, courtesy of Your Tax Dollars. Columnist David Harsanyi calls this the biggest expansion of the police state in U.S. history.Who does the IRS plan to target?

According to Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas, ranking member of the House Ways and Means Committee, of the projected 1.2 million new audits the IRS will conduct each years, over 710,000 (nearly 60%) will fall on Americans who earn less than $75,000 per year. (Side note: Welp, that covers literally every one of my acquaintance …)

A chart from the House Ways and Means Committee further breaks down the potential audits:

  • Over 313,000 new audits for Americans making less than $25,000 a year;
  • Over 147,000 new audits for those making $25,000 to $50,000 a year;
  • Over 122,000 new audits for those making $50,000 to $75,000 a year.

It's worth noting the highest number of audits will be targeting the poorest Americans, the ones with the fewest resources and least ability to fight unfair claims. Isn't that nice? In an unrelated coincidence, the IRS has a history of targetingconservatives (see this and this).

It should be pointed out that White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated Americans making less than $400,000 a year would not be targeted for new audits under the Democrats' plan. Biden and IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig have made similar statements. Who are you gonna believe? I'll let you decide.

Now 87,000 sounds like a big number. But how big? Take a look at the meme below to get an excellent visualization.

So, will this be like the Airports with folks not properly trained, but like to have their power trips to abuse power, nor most not in shape to do their jobs?? Just inquiring.

Will they do background checks on those folks, one wonders, right? Prediction, doubt many folks want the job, it's seasonal, they have to have great credit, clean taxes, should have no arrests & great background checks, etc..., and what do they pay? How many applying would pass? OH, seasonal means they can go on unemployment when tax season is done, right? Where are these numbers coming from?

Oh boy, IRS will probably make everything a hobby, surviving is a hobby now, right?
Seriously, let us pray for checks & balances with oversight is soon coming over ALL the American's Agencies that are to serve us!! May God Bless America! Bless the right people, positioned in right places, at the right time! Knew an IRS acquaintance, she became plump crazy working at IRS for fifteen years, she reputedly thought: "They" zapped her at night through her walls,(micro-wave weapon/direct energy??), it hurt her skin horribly, crackled through the walls, and yes, she wasn't quite sane, IMO!

This was a long time ago even, but what if those signing up need be prepared for being micro-waved if they misbehave,...supposedly? Who knows, right? Point is, the state of mind some are in,... tis extremely questionable, IMO! Paranoid as all get, right out of the gate, IMO! So when getting taxes done, get an oldie but goodie; The best Tax Preparer to have is one who had worked 25 plus years at IRS prior, they are the most thorough, IMO!

IMO I’ll tell you a fact. If you are audited you will pay big time. Not just you personally but anyone. I’ve seen it multiple times in person with honest people and businesses that had the cleanest accounting possible. It’s been and always will be pure theft with the IRS. You can only pray we get passed over when these roll out.
