Netanyahu to visit Washington on Monday, source tells 'Post'

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit Washington next Monday, and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer will arrive in Washington on Monday, a source told The Jerusalem Post.

The cabinet held a discussion and will wait to hear about Dermer's meetings in Washington before considering additional significant steps in Gaza.

On Sunday, US President Donald Trump called for a deal to be made in Gaza and to "get the hostages back!!!" in a post to Truth Social.

Earlier, Trump said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in the process of negotiating a deal with Hamas to free the remaining hostages.

Recently, Trump criticized Israel's prosecutors over the ongoing corruption trial against Netanyahu, saying it was interfering with his ability to conduct talks with both Hamas and Iran.

"The travesty of 'Justice' will interfere with both Iran and Hamas negotiations," Trump wrote. "In other words, it is INSANITY doing what the out-of-control prosecutors are doing to Bibi Netanyahu."

Netanyahu thanked Trump on Sunday morning, saying, "Together, we will make the Middle East Great Again!"

Israel and Syria holding ‘advanced talks’ on bilateral security deal

Israel and Syria holding ‘advanced talks’ on bilateral security deal — senior official

Israel and Syria are holding “advanced talks” on a bilateral agreement, a senior Israeli official tells The Times of Israel.

The contacts are focused on coordination around security matters, says the official, who would not speculate on when a full normalization deal between the two enemy states could turn into reality.

“Could it develop into something beyond [security arrangements]?” the official asks. “We will wait and see. For now there isn’t anything concrete.”

“There is absolutely an aspiration to expand the Abraham Accords, and it’s no secret that we want to see Syria in this,” the official continues. “And there may be an opportunity.”

However, says the official, even if Syria and Israel reach a deal, “we will not withdraw from the Syrian Hermon, nor from the Golan Heights.”

The officials say that interim Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa “seems that he is on the right path to try to establish some kind of government that benefits from the economy and investments, but you never know. We are very careful, very careful.”

Sa’ar vows Golan Heights not up for discussion in any talks with Syria

Sa’ar vows Golan Heights not up for discussion in any talks with Syria

In any potential peace agreement with Syria, “the Golan Heights will remain part of the State of Israel,” says Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, speaking alongside his Austrian counterpart Beate Meinl-Reisinger.

Sa’ar underscores the fact that Israel annexed the Golan Heights more than four decades ago.

He does not speculate on how imminent peace might be, or whether Syria is a more likely candidate for a peace deal than Saudi Arabia, but says that Israel “will welcome Syria to the peace and normalization circle in the Middle East.”

Sa’ar says that Israel “is interested in expanding the Abraham Accords circle of peace and normalization,” naming Lebanon and Syria.

The foreign minister says that Israel is “serious in its will to reach a hostage deal and ceasefire in Gaza.” He calls on Europe to back US special envoy Steve Witkoff’s proposal for a ceasefire, in order to “shatter Hamas illusions.”

However, there are “significant gaps between the two sides’ conditions,” says Sa’ar.

Sa’ar stresses that Israel is “committed to achieving our objectives” in Gaza, adding that Israel is “committed to continuing to facilitate the humanitarian effort.”

The foreign minister emphasizes that “Hamas takes over the aid” which “causes the war to continue endlessly.” He lauds the US- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation for helping Gaza’s civilians directly.

A Palestinian state “would threaten the security of the state of Israel,” he says in response to a question from The Times of Israel about whether he would support a two-state solution if Saudi normalization was conditioned on such a move.

He also argues that Israel’s success against Iran’s ballistic missiles, drones, and nuclear program also protected Europe’s security.

Syria moving towards normalization with Israel? Signs point to growing cooperation after war with Iran

Syria moving towards normalization with Israel? Signs point to growing cooperation after war with Iran

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to travel to Washington, D.C., in order to promote a hostage-ceasefire deal and normalization with Syria, Israel’s Channel 12 News reported on Friday.

The report comes amid growing optimism in the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump that an end to the Gaza War could be near, along with a deal to release the remaining hostages.

Prime Minister Netanyahu remarked in a video released on Thursday evening that "the victory in Iran opens the door to the expansion of the peace agreements, the release of the hostages and the defeat of Hamas.”

Netanyahu said, "We fought hard against Iran – and we achieved a great victory. This victory opens up an opportunity for a dramatic expansion of the peace agreements. We are working on this diligently. Alongside the release of our hostages and the defeat of Hamas, there is a window of opportunity here that must not be missed. You can't waste even one day.”

Axios reported on Thursday that Netanyahu is planning a visit to Washington, D.C. as part of “a victory party after the war with Iran.”

According to the report, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Netanyahu would like to visit in the coming weeks, but that no date had been set.

She also said that U.S. President Donald Trump hopes to use the Iran victory to expand the Abraham Accords, specifically mentioning Syria.

"The president is certainly hopeful that more countries in the region will sign on to the Abraham Accords," Leavitt stated.

"When the president met with the new president of Syria [Ahmed al-Sharaa], that was one of the requests that he made; for Syria to sign on to the Abraham Accords," she continued.

"We want to see a long withstanding endurable peace in the Middle East and that's the way to do it," she said. "I don't have a timeline for you, but this administration wants to see that happen and our partners in the region should know that.”

The reports come as Hebrew news sites revealed the quiet cooperation between Israel and Syria during Operation Rising Lion, when the Syrian leader al-Sharaa allowed Israel to fly through its airspace.

Last week, Israeli National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi said, “There is direct daily dialogue at all levels between Israel and the regime in Syria,” saying, “I am leading it with political officials there.”

The optimism over Syria appears to be shared by others in the Trump administration.

U.S. Middle East special envoy, Steve Witkoff, stated on Wednesday that the United States hopes to have “some pretty big announcements” about the Abraham Accords soon.

“We think we are going to have some pretty big announcements on countries that are coming into the Abraham peace accords," Witkoff told CNBC during an interview. "We are hoping for normalisation across an array of countries that maybe people would have never contemplated would come in.”

Witkoff’s remarks came around the same time a new billboard was unveiled in Tel Aviv, featuring Trump, Netanyahu, and a group of Arab leaders alongside the slogan: “The Abraham Alliance: It’s time for a new Middle East.”

Global Meltdown Coming?

Whole World is Going into a Meltdown

Steve Quayle is saying the recent wins in the Supreme Court on nationwide injunctions, Biden autopen scandaland Iran nuke program bombings are all setting America up for very hard times.  The Deep State globalists are increasingly desperate and will now have to turn to more violent warfare to destroy America.  Quayle says, “Everyone should learn the term ‘asymmetrical warfare.’  This is what you see when you are talking terrorism, refineries blowing up and wildfires being started at a much higher pace than ever before.  These people don’t show up on your borders.  In our case, we are being softened up by enemies from within.  This interview should prepare people for the worst case. . . do what needs to be done to protect your family. . .. Does it surprise anyone that all of the rage you see starting to raise its head is in the blue cities?  The United States of America is undergoing a communist takeover and takedown of this country.  These are not peaceful riots, and notice how the Democrat Party is out of money after spending like mad crazy people.”

Quayle contends the financial system is teetering on failure.  Both Japan and Germany are in big trouble, and America and the rest of the world are not far behind.  Quayle says, “Japan loaned out money at a 0% interest rate.  It’s called the yen carry trade.  The problem is now all the collateral that backed that up is failing. . .. I think the whole system is in the process of coming down.  Look at insurance and big investment houses.  They all have big investment and are heavily ladened with commercial real estate. . . . When you have the failing of the underlying capital that the loans were made on, it’s just like dominos, and the dominos are already falling.  People only pay attention to the stock market, but it’s the bond market where all of the power lies. . .. The global financial outlook is dangerous, perilous and to quote Gerald Celente, ‘when all else fails, they take you to war.’”....the war with Iran is far from over, and cycle expert Martin Armstrong (a regular guest on USAWatchdog) agrees with Quayle.  Armstrong predicts the Iran-Israel war heats up again in August.  Quayle says, “All the background information I am getting is saying whoa, meaning the entire terrorist and computer cyber teams are working to take down the grid.  When they take down the grid, there will be no water unless you are on your own well, but you better have power to run the well pump.  The best point I can make is everything we have enjoyed under the blessings of The Living God, everything we have taken for granted is going to be taken from us.”

Quayle expects there to be food shortages and global starvation because terrorists will attack the food supply.  There is also much talk of more war.  Quayle says, “These people are demonically infused and demonically instructed.  This is why the whole world is going into a meltdown, and it will bring on the one world financial system. . .. Here’s the point we are at right now.  The power is going down.  Finances are going to crash.  Food is not going to be available, unless you go to the black market.  Everything denominated in US dollars is at risk.  I am talking insurance policies, IRA’s, 401(k)s, defined benefit plans and your mortgages. . ..  Nobody is coming to rescue you except Jesus.”
