Florida State Rep. Anthony Sabatini called for the state to arrest FBI agents conducting law enforcement outside Florida’s purview and to sever ties with the Department of Justice Monday.“It’s time for us in the Florida Legislature to call an emergency legislative session & amend our laws regarding federal agencies,” Sabatini wrote in the wake of the FBI raid of Donald Trump’s Florida residence, Mar-a-Lago. “Sever all ties with DOJ immediately … Any FBI agent conducting law enforcement functions outside the purview of our State should be arrested upon sight.”
Many Republicans have described the raid of Trump’s residence as a politically-motivated abuse of power. He said state legislators needed to put pressure on the FBI by limiting local agencies’ cooperation with them and by requiring them to seek permission from the state before conducting operations in Florida.
State legislators need to ban interlocal agreements between state and local law enforcement and the FBI and require the FBI to get Florida’s permission before conducting operations within the state, he told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
“That’s just at the state level. At the federal level they need to be totally gutted and cut down,” he told the DCNF. “We need to be putting as much pressure on them as possible.”

On one hand it’s funny because he now knows slightly how the Jan 6 prisoners must feel. And he did nothing for them. But it’s also very disturbing how out if hand all politicians and all the government agencies are. If the FBI are such bad asses why don’t they cross into Mexico and take care of the cartel and our drug problem? I want Gopro footage for that please.
