Interesting Developments At This Time In Prophetic 'History': Macron Forming 10 Nation Military Coalition Within EU

Another Key Development To Keep A Close Eye On

Bible prophecy tells us that in the last days there will be a revived but unstable Roman Empire of sorts (see Daniel 2:29-45). Daniel and Revelation also inform us that in the last days there will be a 10-king confederacy. (Daniel 2:31-35, 40-45; 7:7-8, 19-24 ; Revelation 13:1-2; 17:3, 7, 12-16).

Students of Bible prophecy have speculated about whether this will be 10 nations, 10 world regions, or simply 10 elite leaders. When the European Union emerged (with 6 original members) and eventually grew to 10 member nations, prophecy students were sounding alarms—until the EU grew past 10 nations (current EU members total 28 nations). Then the excitement died down a bit.

Another development that confused some prophecy students was the rise of nationalism with Brexit and the election of Donald Trump. It seemed that globalism (the collective push toward a one-world government and currency) was speeding down the tracks toward its prescribed end-time format, but hit a major speed bump with those two surprising events. Would the EU dissolve? Would America return to her roots?

I came across an article today that piqued my interest if it proves true. Given everything else going on (70th Anniversary of Israel’s rebirth, Ezekiel 38 players completely aligned, a Pope who fits the spirit/character and ideology of the false prophet to a “T”, the threats of war from Iran, the constant calls for peace and safety, the explosion of end-time era technology, and SO MANY other things), I have to admit, this article really got my attention.

Rather than being speed bumps in the road toward the end-time landscape, Brexit and the strange election of Donald Trump may have actually been accelerators toward the conditions that need to fall into place. Prophecy expert and Pastor, J.D. Farag has long sensed that would be the case.

Emmanuel Macron, whom many have shown to have the exact characteristics (nationality, background, globalist worldview, and several other qualifications noted in passages about the future/evil end-time ruler) is gathering the leaders of exactly ten nations to form an official coalition in June (just one month after Israel’s 70th anniversary—a very prophetic date for several reasons) to form a “common European intervention force, defense budget, and doctrine.” 

Did I mention it will consist of exactly 10 nations?

Please hear me—I’m not playing pin-the-tail-on-the-antichrist (even if Macron’s first name means “god with us” and he has apparently compared himself to the ancient Roman “god” Jupiter), and I think we need to be very careful not to speculate too much. Perhaps he’s the guy that organizes the 10 nations. Perhaps the 10 nations won’t come together as planned. We’ll have to wait and see. That said however, this news of a 10-nation confederacy has my attention simply because of the avalanche of other prophetic developments all occurring at the exact same time.

Trumps soon-to-be-revealed “deal of the century” has the hallmarks of the covenant the Bible says the antichrist will later enforce. A ten-nation union in the geographical area of the ancient Roman Empire is set to unite, Israel was reborn in a day (in 1948) seventy years (Matthew 24’s generation) ago, the US Embassy move to Jerusalem and the impending US exit from the Iranian nuclear deal, all of the players and conditions for the Ezekiel 38 war are currently in place, all of the end-time technology is in place, and so may other things I don’t even have space to include here. You simply can’t make this stuff up. 

ALL of the key things that prophecy teachers have been studying with increasing intensity over the past 40 years are in place or quickly moving into position right now. That is not something that should be easy to brush off.

All of the proverbial road signs tell us we are getting closer and closer to our exit ramp. Scripture teaches that the rapture is an imminent event that can occur at anytime. Fulfilled prophecy proves the Bible is not a fairy tale. One day—possibly very soon—supernatural events beginning with the rapture will explode onto the scene and the paranormal will become the new normal. Emmanuel Macron’s coalition of the willing

Impatient with German foot-dragging on defense, French President Emmanuel Macron will bring together a 10-nation coalition of the willing next month designed to prepare European armed forces to take action together in emergencies, and to bind Britain into military cooperation as it leaves the EU.

Defense ministers of France, the U.K., Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Denmark and Estonia will sign a letter of intent in Paris in June, officials told me, pledging to develop a common strategic culture, share analysis and foresight on trouble spots that may require intervention and work to coordinate their forces for future operations.

Macron outlined the idea in his keynote Sorbonne speech on European integration last September, calling for a common European intervention force, defense budget and doctrine for action in contingencies where the United States and NATO may not get involved. France wants to recruit allies that could help share its military burden especially in Africa, where it intervened alone in Mali in 2012 to prevent Islamist militants seizing control of a weak state.

Frustrated by the big-tent, low-ambition start to the European Union’s so-called Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) in defense agreed last year at Germany’s insistence, the French leader is pressing ahead with a small core of like-minded nations outside EU and NATO institutional structures.

British Prime Minister Theresa May quietly endorsed the initiative at a Franco-British summit at the Sandhurst Military Academy in January but did not publicize the step to avoid antagonizing hard-line Brexiteers in her Conservative Party, to whom any idea of an “EU army” is anathema. She did announce a practical move to help the French in the Sahel region, making available three heavy-lift Chinook helicopters to support operations in Mali.

“It’s really important to have the British on board, not just because they have the most capable, rapidly deployable armed forces along with our own, but also because we share the same strategic culture and history of projecting force outside Europe,” a senior French source said.

Alice Pannier, an expert on Franco-British defense cooperation at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, said the French idea was to bring together those European countries most experienced in military interventions and U.N. peacekeeping missions, some of which are not involved in PESCO for political reasons, such as Denmark and Britain.

Berlin is uncomfortable with the initiative, not least because any talk of intervention upsets peace-loving Germans and raises prickly questions about legal mandates and parliamentary approval. Some officials in Berlin and Brussels regard the European Intervention Initiative — as Macron’s project is called — with suspicion as a rival to PESCO. Nevertheless, Berlin is attending the early-June launch to avoid a Franco-German rift and to keep an eye on what Paris and London are doing, a German source said.

“It’s about scoping out and jointly analyzing the sort of problems that can arise and knowing how to manage them together as effectively as possible if they materialize,” a French defense source said. “It’s about feeling out our partners’ priorities and knowing in advance how and how much they could contribute if a specific crisis arises.”
