Who Is 'Blessing' Israel And Who Is 'Cursing' Israel?

The reference here is obvious:

"I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse"  (Genesis 12:3)

"I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling...On that day, when all the nations of the earh are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves." (Zechariah 12:2-3)

No exclusions, no exceptions, no conditions.

From Israel National News:

Attorney Yoram Sheftel called US Secretary of State John Kerry "the enemy" of Israel in a weekly interview with Arutz Sheva on Saturday night, relating to the clash last week between Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon and the US State Department.

"Even if Ya'alon did not do anything else in his life but say what he did, we will remember him for generations to come," Sheftel stated.

"Even though he made the statements in private messages to Yediot Aharonot, and they crossed all the lines to use it to harm the State of Israel, what [Ya'alon] said was true - and even articulated well," Sheftel claimed.

Ya'alon was quoted as saying that "Secretary of State John Kerry – who came here very determined, and operates based upon an unfathomable obsession and a messianic feeling – cannot teach me anything about the Palestinians."

"I live and breathe the conflict with the Palestinians, I know what they think, what they want and what they really mean," he continued. "The American security plan that was presented to us is not worth the paper it was written on.”"

The US responded with shock Tuesday, calling the remarks "offensive" and "inappropriate." Ya'alon responded Tuesday to the US with more criticism, stating that the US knows that the source of instability in the Middle East is not the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

"Some things cannot be solved in one [day]," Ya'alon stated, addressing US efforts. "Note that we still we have not solved all the problems of medicine and mathematics; it is not like we don't have special challenges also facing us."

He called on Israel "not to panic and give in to these [statements] and other intimidation, because this ( standing up for oneself) is the only way to protect the security of Israel."

Ya'alon later apologized for the remarks, stating that he had no intention of "offending" Kerry. The apology itself has garnered a backlash, as many see the statements as yet another bow to US pressure.

Kerry: Representing the Arab world's interests - not Israel's

On Saturday night, Sheftel also said to Arutz Sheva that Israel is not conducting talks with the Palestinian Authority, but with the Americans, who are working on behalf of the Arab world.

"They want to give the Land of Israel over to the enemy, they want us to withdraw from our communities [in Judea and Samaria] and from the Jordan Valley, they want us to retreat to '1967 lines,' and give us security arrangements that don't provide security," he continued. "These are the Arab world's stances on the issues, as presented by Kerry - making him into an enemy, as he represents the very people who want to destroy us."

"He tells us constantly that the US is making Israel's security a 'top priority' - then tells us, despite knowing what happened in Gaza [with the Disengagement], to withdraw from the Jordan Valley, even militarily, and has the audacity to call that 'security'," Sheftel elaborated.

"Israel withdrawing from the Jordan Valley would mean that missiles, rockets, and mortar shells would be raining down on Israeli communities [in Judea and Samaria] in a short time," Sheftel fired, "and no one knows it better than Kerry."

"Kerry keeps saying that both sides will have to make the painful decisions - what painful decisions will Abbas have to make?"

This message needs to be spoken loud and clear. If God's prophets were in our presence, they would be  preaching this message from the rooftops if necessary. They would certainly be heard.

Our so-called leaders (not just in the U.S., but almost all of 'the nations' leaders as well) are leading us directly into the path of destruction. They are mocking God's word and God's law. There will be a price to pay.

We 'watchmen' have to get this word out; no one else will. We have to be bold in our witness - both to a risen Christ but also to the prophetic word. The nation's leaders must hear that their actions against Israel are a direct challenge to God Himself. God will not be mocked.

Hi Scott,

In the last crash, the Canadian banking system remained untouched and strong, our economy has remained the strong in most areas. After reading this glowing article about the Canadian Prime Minister, and our government support of Israel. (Which I already knew about)
http://www.timesofisrael.com/why-is-stephen-harper-one-of-israels-staunchest-supporters/

In context to the referenced scripture this might help explain the blessing that the Canada is experiencing despite some of our not so great policies on abortion ect....

Thats so strange, I just left reading that article before coming here. My second thought was - how will Canada be blessed, because I believe they will.

Stephen, you can expect push-back on that. I think we understand how you see this situation at this point.

Scott,

I'm encountering a lot of "chatter" about (and I'm delicately dancing around on this) means to deal with a certain percentage of enrichment, and a line that's close to being enforced. That's all I will say on that...read into it.

On another issue, why has MSM stopped reporting on Syria? Is there still a civil war in progress? Have the 2 factions made up? Settled their differences?

There has been some stuff in the JP about Syria, but there aren't really any significnt changes in the ongoing war (IMO)

I hope I am reading between the lines correctly. if so, it would have to be on Israel's part, unless Soros wants O to take action.

These days, I base what 'O" will do based on what I believe Soros wants.

That last comment was so unnecessary and taunting. I'm not going to have that.

Well, well, well.......

So, another line is crossed. Or so it seems.

Public acknowledgment that Kerry (hence, this Adm) is the enemy. I had thought at first it was from a member of Bibi's Cabinet, but its from a prominent Israeli Attorney.

Even so, its a start of seeing the acceptance that the US is no longer representing Israel's interest....in fact the opposite.

Its just reassuring to see this level of understanding and acknowledgment from Israel.

With this "out in the open" now and for the first time, perhaps we'll start seeing some diplomatic counter moves from Israel using this as a base as opposed to assumptions that its just misguided policies to help and support them.

Huge difference.
