Israeli PM orders investigation into Iran leak
Israel's prime minister has ordered an investigation into alleged leaks of plans to attack Iran's nuclear facilities, it has been reported.
According to the Kuwaiti newspaper al-Jarida, the main suspects are the former heads of the Mossad and the Shin Bet, respectively Israel's foreign and domestic intelligence agencies.
Netanyahu is said to believe that the two, Meir Dagan and Yuval Diskin, wanted to torpedo plans being drawn up by him and Ehud Barak, the defence minister, to hit Iranian nuclear sites.
Tzipi Livni, leader of the opposition Kadima party, is also said to have been persuaded to attack Netanyahu for "adventurism" and "gambling with Israel's national interest".
The nation's viability is in question, not to mention the lives of millions, and politics are being played. Sounds a lot like the U.S.
The paper suggested that the purpose of the leaks was to prevent an attack, which had moved from the stage of discussion to implementation. "Those who oppose the plan within the security establishment decided to leak it to the media and thwart the plan," it said.
Both Dagan and Diskin oppose military action against Iran unless all other options – primarily international diplomatic pressure and perhaps sabotage — have been exhausted. In January the recently retired Dagan, a hawk when he was running the Mossad, called an attack on Iran "the stupidest idea I've ever heard".
"It seems that only Netanyahu and Barak know, and maybe even they haven't decided," commented Amos Harel and Avi Issacharoff, both respected Haaretz writers. "While many people say Netanyahu and Barak are conducting sophisticated psychological warfare and don't intend to launch a military operation, top officials … are still afraid."

Now we have yet another possible basis for the mysterious and atypical leaks regarding an Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.
Who knows. We'll have to wait and see what happens next, as we await the next tipping point to hit the news.

Just popping in for a moment...yes indeed it does sound like the U.S., and that is where Bibi is taking the cue from with this. It is PSY-OPS.
The launching of the Jericho-3 intercontinental ballistic missile was a warning, a message to the enemies of Israel. Yet also, by this back and forth supposed “leaked” information, that causes confusion, distraction, they have tested this missile as it would have needed to be done, before using it. Mr.C is MUCH more qualified to address that aspect.
As Bibi has always said, the West does not understand the ME. Israel surrounded by such recycled evil, understands that these evil enemies are hard wired to only respect strength and NOT any kind of passivism. These enemies see passivism as weakness.
It is a ruse upon a ruse. It is extremely difficult to believe that Dagan has changed. He has been hard core with Iran, in fact the Iranian nuke program was his specialty when he was in Mossad. Its the good cop - bad cop. Now Bibi is acting outraged at the divulging of information supposedly of plans to attack Iran. Is he really though? Or was this a diversion to make it look like they are preparing for an attack, so they had to create this ruse to cover for the testing of the missile? And really are going to attack at another time.
Its kind of like, “oh dog gone it, you caught us, now we cant do a surprise attack”, pay attention to the headlines enemies, while we test our new missile.
Dagan may have indeed spilled the beans on some information, but coming from him, there would be much more to it. As said, Iran was Dagan's specialty, and term after term, then changed to year by year, he was reaffirmed in his position in Mossad. It was as if they were reaffirming him, to keep him on hand for the Iran situation, because of his vast amount of information involving Iran, and covert operations against them. Iran was Dagan's project for sure. Here is a tidbit, what would seen to be an innocuous article, from when Bibi reaffirmed Dagan in his position of Chief of Mossad. This is from 2009. Please note what Dagan’s “mandate” was.
JMHO, personally, I find it very difficult to believe that Dagan would first, talk about a true pending Israeli attack on Iran, or divulge any information regarding planning. Remember, he was in on the planning of the Syrian attack, where they had commandos on the ground INSIDE Syria, not just once, but TWICE. Every operation Israel has done, against Iraq, and then against Syria, was not “leaked” to the media.

I think a leak falls closer in line with prophetic fulfillment than merely Israel playing chicken with Iran to get them to back off their nuke program. Those at Iran's helm, truly believe the 12th Imam has arrived and that Iran would triumph over Israel in the coming battle. So believing that, why would Israel think even for a moment, they could beat their war drums loud enough that Iran would back off?

Personally, I dont believe its an attempt to have Iran back off, but rather a diversion so as to confuse the enemy as to the timing of their attack.
Bibi has clearly given the U.S. a signal this week, more over a slap in the face, by announcing they will continue to build in Jerusalem, or as he referred to it as, their "Eternal City". This to me, was Bibi saying "enough, forget your so called peace plan".
The launching of the missile was two fold. We would not normally have known so publicly about this test, unless they wanted their enemies to know. It showed Israels enemies their strength, and it allowed them to test it, which has to be done to use it at some point. Mr.C knows way lots about such things, especially missiles.

Given the push by left wing groups in Israel, for peace, regardless of consequences to Israel, I don't have a problem one believing Bibi means business and isn't simply staging a ruse. But I'm also confident, if this does turn out to be a ruse, it won't have the intended effect.
Oh for sure, Bibi means business. He has said for years, that Hamas and Hezbollah are secondary compared to Iran. Iran He has said many times, regardless of his government position, that Iran is the "head of the snake, that needs to be crushed".
With Syria and Iraq, Israel had the element of surprise. Not so easy with Iran due to the distance.
This could be a ruse to distract from the real time that they possibly will due this. The enemy or enemies, will believe the time has elapsed for an attack, and let their guard down at some point.What this also can do, is allow Israel to determine what the enemies defenses are. In other words, the enemy makes defense preparations for an attack, and they can monitor what those preparations are, know their weaknesses.

Oh, IF this is a ruse, I suspect there are many aspects to it...far, far more than is on the surface. To be effective, it has to be believable...so believable a country finds it worthwhile to activate whatever deep intelligence gathering assets they have.
Just an example....
1. With the missile launch, suspect there was no radar or electronic gathering location that was not revealed as Iran activated their own assets and gathered as much information as they could from the same launch.
2.Iran and all their friends have probably activated every bit of intelligence gathering equipment they have to assess Israel's intent and timing. This allows Israel to try and locate / identify the assets and maybe even feed some false information to an obscure source with full confidence that it would be picked up by the enemy.
3. Even deep sleeper cell "intelligence" networks are probably activated to determine just what is going on and when. How much false/damaging information can Israel fabricate and let be "discovered" during these times and how many new "spies" can be rooted out by tracking the activities and movements of the known "sources". Also, how many of these can either be fed sanitized information or simply be made to disappear when the time is right.
4. Israel is going to find out how long it takes Iran to get its "activation" orders formulated, passed down, and put into action in each and every one of these areas.
5. Israel is going to obtain and analyze radar frequencies and other characteristics...which tells something about the capabilities / limitations and may give clues on how to defeat it.
These things get deep, real deep....and deadly. Lost of busy folk tonight and some getting ready to depart this world.

One question in my mind is; is Israel capable of fighting a multi front war? The other thing is I'm thinking it probably doesn't matter when Israel strikes Iran. In the end israel will get hammered by their enemies wether they remain passive or choose to snot them. If I'm wrong please correct me. Chreers, David.

I would agree. Either way, regardless of what Israel does, they will get hit. 1948 is a prime example of that.

As for the video, my goodness. WW3? Interesting how this gentleman meshes so many different things. :) Not feeling so well this morning, so Ill try to make it short. It kinda reminds me of the false Nostradamus, or Edgar Casey “stuff”. As Dr No said, it is satanic. JMHO, but its interesting how all these soothsayers have a wee little bit of truth in their false teachings, entice, in the same way that the enemy deceives.
For example, this gentleman in the video, speaks of Russia and China joining together (I think he said, was pretty tired) and at the end of this battle is when these evil little men will present their grand plan to the world to raze up the ac. We look to Gods Word, and He tells us that Russia and China are together for the battle of Armageddon, the END of the Trib, not the beginning of the Trib when the ac rises to power.
This is just for me personally, JMHO, I find it difficult to believe that these little men control wars. There are far, far too many variances that occur, that perpetuate, or retract wars. Far too many. They may be profiteers during these wars therefore try to perpetuate them, but again, they are legends in there own minds if they think they control all facets of war and the outcomes.
Im reminded of the sayings “if you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans”. These evil little men can run around the world (as I believe they do), with their “plans” and “plots” all they want, but they and their “plans” are weak, mere nothing, before Almighty God! God may even allow some of them to fulfill their schemes to a degree, but it would only be to fulfill HIS ultimate Plan.

Yes, Israel has been training for a multiple fronted war for some time now. They know what their up against. Iran has surrounded Israel with their chess pieces in Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza. Iran has made it clear, that they will trigger these enemies surrounding Israel, to attack Israel, should they be attacked.
Bibi has said for years, that Iran is the “head of the snake” that controls all of their “proxies” against Israel, and that the “head of the snake needs to be crushed”. This makes Iran a high target for Israel, as they are the primary source and promoter of all this evil against Israel.
Knowing all of this, Israel has intense planning. How do you take on multiple fronts? You perhaps try to diminish the number of “fronts” you would have to fight. That is why these comments made by members of the Israeli government were particularly interesting this week, especially in light of everything else going on.

IF Israel takes down Hamas permanently, that is one less “front” they would have to fight, should they decide to go for Iran.
Most importantly, is Gods Word, Gods Purpose for Isaiah 17. His Word begins by telling us that Damascus is gone in a day Vs.1 & Vs.14. Quickly following is Jordan, Vs2, then the West Bank Vs. 3. So it begins by Israel fighting multiple fronts, and winning, but then something horrific happens to Israel, and God tells us why He allows it to happen and that there will be “desolation”. Gods Word tells us that Israel will fight this war alone, and there are no means of re-supplying. It is only at the very end Vs.13, when Israel’s about to be completely wiped out, that God Himself steps in.
