Prophecy Related News Increasing Dramatically Yet The Pulpits Are Silent, The Fate Of Damascus, SDRs And One World Currency

The first article below is from Jan Markell which characterizes what is happening right now in prophecy and she is absolutely correct. One aspect of her article points out the sheer volume of prophecy related news that we are seeing and the difficulty in keeping up. I can relate.

What incredible times we live in -- like no previous generation.

The world is heading pell-mell for a conclusion though nobody knows the timing on this. But we are privileged to look at signs that are like clouds forming on the horizon. In the 1970s there were only a few events that were prophecy-related happening. There were minor shakings but sometimes connecting the dots was even a stretch!

Fast forward to today and there are so many prophecy-related events happening daily and hourly that it presents a major dilemma for those of us watching the signs of the times to know just where to focus. As I post stories daily on my website, I agonize that I must leave off so many as space and time won't allow readers to zero in on all that is happening!
It is a privilege and a challenge to be born for such a time as this. Very little that is predicted to happen in the "last days" is good news and who wants a steady dose of bad? But if one can "look up" one can bear the heartache of looking around as the signs of the times explode on our news outlets.

The Bible asks us to be "watchmen" (Ezekiel 33). We're to be sounding an alarm. Trouble is ahead. Time is short. And I have never felt such a sense of urgency and the realization that time is, indeed, short.

I am watching signs "converge." They are stunning and breathtaking. But most pastors will not talk about them!

LifeWay Research is a Nashville-based, evangelical research firm that specializes in surveys about faith in culture and matters that affect the church. They report that a  third of America's Protestant pastors expect Christians to be Raptured -- or taken up in the sky to meet Jesus -- as the last of the last days begin. Over 36% believe in a pre-Tribulation Rapture. In spite of this glorious good news, their pulpits remain silent.

Over 50% of Protestant pastors, according to the survey, believe in a literal Antichrist -- but their pulpits are silent.

Most pastors hold to the basic teachings of Christ's Second Coming -- but their pulpits are silent.

This same survey says almost 50% of Protestant pastors believe in a coming Millennium and hold to premillennialism.  At this time we finally do away with the curse and fallen human nature -- but their pulpits are silent.
Pastor Tom Hughes leads The 412 Church in San Jacinto, California. He has written a thoughtful article titled, "Five Reasons Pastors Don't Teach Bible Prophecy." He writes, "Prophecy fills the Bible. End time prophecy touches every person alive  today. Jesus taught on it. So did John, Paul, Peter, James, and Jude. Yet only a small percentage of churches teach this crucial part of God's message to our generation.

"Some pastors don't teach it for theological reasons. They don't believe it, don't think it applies to us, consider it symbolic, or whatever. Others believe we're probably living near the end of the age, but still refuse to touch the topic. They see it as an elective part of God's curriculum. Take it or leave it."

Hughes continues, "That's not how Jesus saw it. He reprimanded the Pharisees and Sadducees for not discerning the times. 'When it is evening you say, it will be fair weather, for the sky is red; and in the morning, it will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening. Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.' " (Matthew 16:2-3 NKJV)

Hughes concludes, "More than a quarter of the Bible is prophecy -- much of it yet to be fulfilled. How can we give congregations a well-rounded understanding of scripture if we leave out such a vital part of it?"

He then goes on to list these five reasons pastors may not be sharing these issues in the pulpit:

1) They don't understand prophecy.

2) They fear offending members of the church.

3) They sense this will scare people.

4) People might not tithe if they think we're close to the end.

5) There is fear in looking like the "loony-tune fringe. The Harold Campings have done great damage.

The prophecies of the first coming of Christ were fulfilled. They stand as evidence that the Bible can be trusted. Prophecies of His second coming work the same way, except we get to witness these events in our time, often with our own eyes.

The nations of the world seem moved, as though by a hidden hand, into exactly the right positions on a global chess board. What an amazing thing to see it happening before our eyes! It builds faith and draws our attention God-ward. And it is a fantastic evangelism tool.

I think the church is headed into the home stretch of her history! I base that not on emotions or wishful thinking. I base that on what I see happening daily.  Man can live for a week or two without food. We can live only days without water. But our spirits are crushed within hours without hope.

Reports of atrocities coming out of Syria are reminders of the ongoing rage of man against man. We live in a world headed for a time in which God must deal in judgment with planet earth. We get an inkling of what faces the cities of this world with the declaration found in the book of God’s most terrible judgment. “And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath” (Revelation 16:19).
The great commercial center at the time of that judgment will suffer as perhaps no city or people have ever suffered, when God’s cup of wrath is full, and He gives it to Babylon to drink. Jesus Himself said it would be the most terrible time in human history–and that’s saying something! This earth has been witness to regimes that have dealt so fiercely with their peoples that we sometimes wonder how the Creator of all things could have allowed such treatment.
The Lord has acted at times to judge the murderous governments throughout history, of course. The Third Reich is an example. Hitler’s Reich was to last a thousand years, but lasted barely twelve, and is today looked upon as among the most heinous–certainly considered the most horrendous of the modern era. Yet there are elements among us that view the Nazi regime as a good idea, particularly because of the way that government treated the Jews.
Syria’s present tyrant-ruler is one such admirer of the Nazi attitude toward God’s chosen people. Like all Muslim states of the radical sort–and it’s difficult to find one that isn’t radical—the brutal Syrian dictatorship of Bashar Al-Assad, successor to his father, Hafez Al-Assad, hates Jews with satanic passion and has Israel in its crosshairs for annihilation. For this reason, it can be said with certainty that, barring repentance, the Syrian leader and his ilk are in for some very rough times indeed. God’s Word says about the people of earth and their treatment of Abraham’s progeny: “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” (Genesis 12:3).
But, it is not the Jews alone that the Syrian dictator comes against with luciferian anger. He slaughters anyone who would defy his self-anointed right to rule with an iron fist of oppression. He is doing so with abandon these days, even in the face of pressure –although milquetoast pressure—by the international community.
The world of opposition to what’s going on in Damascus and surrounding area is of the spineless sort because of threats from Russia and China. Putin and the Chinese leadership have made it clear that any military action to put Assad out of power will be met with Russian and Chinese force. It is much like in the cold-war days when the Soviets and the Maoists held the nuclear threat over the heads of the world’s diplomatic community.
As the death tolls rise with Assad’s military murdering people in plain view, yet blaming the opposition rebel forces of perpetrating the killings, the international community wrings its collective hands and seems totally unable and unwilling to take action that would truly cause the raging to cease in the region.
Satanic/demonic influence, with ISIS and other forces wreaking havoc on innocents, driving refugees along with terrorists to Europe and other places presents dangers the world has only begun to suffer.
There seems no chance of a Jonah-Nineveh sort of repentance by Assad and his ruling henchmen. We can say with certainty, then, that God’s judgment is on its way to Syria. But, it’s not just the fact that God will judge anyone who hates Abraham’s seed, or that judgment will come because of the obvious sins of the regime in murdering the Syrian people. We can know with certainty God’s judgment is coming because of the prophecy, with which most Bible prophecy students are familiar.
“Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap” (Isaiah 17:1). Damascus’ cup of wrath is about to be poured by the mighty hand of God. But, lest the rest of the world think this city that harbors most every Islamist terrorist organization that is blood-vowed to destroy Israel is alone in the prophetic promise to drink of that cup of wrath, consider again the following forewarning to all cities of earth: “And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath” (Revelation 16:19).

It seems this whole situation is moving much faster than anyone could have predicted. With this new SDR being planned since the 1970’s it seems they have been working on this for quiet some time. There was another important development in the 1970’s, August 1971 to be precise – President Nixon closed the gold window. Seems there was a little more to that step being taken than meets the eye.

From my perspective the SDR is an illusion of an illusion. Special Drawing Rights (SDR) is a “unit of account” that allows nations to trade amongst themselves. The SDR unit of account is weighted, currently, against four fiat currencies, the US dollar, the euro, Japanese yen and British pound. These fiat currencies that make up the basket of SDR currencies are backed by the respective nations taxes and bond issuances. The taxes are collected, on a go-forward basis, so in essence the value of the currency is based on future labor of each nation. In the real world, where you and I live, this is known as a ponzi scheme – we would be jailed for offering this type of “investment”. The SDR is backed by these currencies which adds another layer to the ponzi scheme. The ponzi has now grown from an individual nation to the global stage. I will be more than happy to redact the above if my analysis is incorrect. From where I sit, that’s what I see.

As we reported, the day it happened, the new M-SDR is official and will be moving into the hands of the Chinese banks over the next several weeks. China has been pushing the IMF and World Bank since 2009 to consider a serious change to the current world reserve currency system. The current governor of the Peoples Bank of China (PBOC), Zhou Xiaochuan, has spearheaded this call to change and it appears China is not going to be satisfied with just the M-SDR Bond; they want the whole system to change, now.

“The Chinese … have made it very clear that the Special Drawing Rights of the IMF is the preferred future international world reserve currency,” writes Willem Middelkoop in a note to clients.
“What you are going to see is world money. You are going to see the IMF print Special Drawing Rights (SDR). It’s a geeky name but it’s a kind of world money printed by the IMF. They’ll flood the world with trillions of SDRs,” James Rickards told Epoch Times earlier this year.
Now that the first issuance is well underway, it is easy to lever up the balance sheets of international development organizations and keep issuing—or printing—SDR obligations even in the trillions until even private market actors support and accept them. Once the SDR is widely accepted as payment, the IMF could just redeem all outstanding local currencies for SDR and the world would not only have a new reserve currency, but just one global currency.

As the new M-SDR Bond, as we stated, begins to mature it will be in demand, not only from large investors – nations, large banks and hedge funds – but will become more attractive to retail investors. This is where the change will occur and the SDR will move from a bond to a currency. If you listened to the interview conducted with Larry White I describe a very specific scenario that moves the M-SDR from a bond to “acting like a currency”. As this aspect of the M-SDR bond grows it will be very easy for the citizens to accept this as a currency. The citizens already accept a “blip-on-the-screen” as currency why wouldn’t they accept a different form of illusion – what is the difference?

“You create new liquidity. That’s the kind of reform that could change the international system immediately,” says Worth Wray.
Willem Middelkoop says this could be done through an IMF substitution fund, an idea already discussed in the 1970s.  “This fund could facilitate a direct exchange of dollars for SDRs. The liquidity issue would be resolved with one stroke of the pen, as an SDR would be created for every dollar that was exchanged,” he writes in his note.
Sounds crazy? It is, but the official plan is right here, for everyone to see[Emphasis added]

Aside from the standard list of lies which US-led ‘Coalition’ representatives regularly spout regarding their so-called ‘moderate rebels’ (terrorists) in Syria, there is another key lie which is only barely holding Washington and London’s house of cards together – that is the idea that some of these ‘moderate rebels’ (terrorists) are somehow engaged in the grand crusade against ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh (all terms apply equally to ISIS). For all intents and purposes, this spurious western claim is a lie – one of many lies about Syria constantly being fed to the public by western politicians and media functionaries.

The reality, outside of the Washington-London “classified” reality bubble is that these US-NATO-GCC-backed ‘moderate rebels’ (terrorists) have, more or less, the exact same objectives as ISIS,and unless they are fighting over control of money or illicit black markets, their shared collective goal is the overthrow of the Syrian government in Damascus via ‘regime change’ and an end to a secular, multi-religious nation-state of Syria. Put simply: their flag designs and online brands may differ, but they are effectively one in the same. So it only stands to reason that if the US-NATO allies are wholeheartedly backing this rebel-terrorist ‘armed opposition’ conclave, then despite their highfalutin rhetoric, US-NATO allies are also supporting an end to the secular multi-religious nation-state in Syria.

Furthermore, as western-backed terrorist rebels share the same objectives as ISIS, then by extension – this also means that the US-NATO allies share the exact same goals as ISIS. Yes, that’s right: US-NATO forces have positioned themselves as natural allies of ISIS, alongside the ‘moderate rebel’ terrorists who have already received billions in western taxpayer-funded arms, equipment, training, intelligence support and cash.

Does anyone still believe that “the ‘moderate rebels’ are fighting ISIS,” like Washington has insisted for years now? According to the evidence, that’s just another lie – and here is even more damning proof that it’s a lie…
US-backed ‘rebels’, under the watchful supervision of US drones, have just let ISIS walk away…

Spot on article by Jan Markell. That's been the sad state of affairs in the Church for some time. The divide between those awake, longing for His appearing, and the everyone else seems to be growing wider by the minute.

I appreciate this daily prophecy report here, Scott. It's my daily fix of reality! The onslaught of true news has become overwhelming. I get frustrated and anxious, wondering how much more long-suffering the Lord can be. Then I look how long He's suffered with me and that puts it all into perspective!

MARANATHA!!!

Dave, you're awesome brother - thanks:). I believe we are incredibly close now. The way the signs are progressing the trib is so so close so also the gathering up. Ive been feeling the need to contact old friends to make sure they are right w God. Just out of the blue. Also been thinking a lot about my earthly father and brother who are already there:)

Hi Scott,

It is so true, I lost my mother a few months ago...I think of her all the time and how happy we will be in our reunion. Thank you again for all your hard work.

The longing in the heart for His appearing, no words can express how deep it is.

I long to see friends and family that have gone on before us as well. Like someone said earlier about the pauses between the events – there doesn't seem to be pauses any more. I could use some prayer for witnessing opportunities (and boldness in witnessing!). Things seem so spiritually dried up here in northeast USA.

Sandra - just a very brief absence as the most epic reunion of all time is imminent. And thanks for the kind words:).

Dave,

I think you hit the nail on the head about witnessing. I am done & ready to go, but then I think, if the Rapture had occurred 20 years ago...I would have been left here. If it occurred 10 years ago, how many current Christians would have been left. I understand more Rev 3:8 where Jesus says "you have little strength"....amen. Again, I'm beyond ready, but we will be here until the full number of gentiles is reached. Unfortunately, too few people seem to want to hear the truth....I just want to make sure it's not because I'm too timid to tell them. I will say I've become more open of late. As Caver is fond of saying, maybe today church!?!?

Lance

Dont ya'll be quoting Caver - that will lead to total anarchy around here and we cant have that! :)

WWCD? What Would Caver Do? :-)

Most times I feel that I'm ready too, Lance. Then I wind up doing these rabbit hole life self-assessments and ask myself, "What have I really done for you, Lord?" And then I don't feel so ready... like He's got something left for me to do. Don't know if that's just the guilt talking. But regardless… Maranatha!

All of these comments make a lot of sense to me. I feel very much the same way as Dave and Lance. Just like Dave's last comments, I too start questioning myself and what I have done for the Lord or how I have spent my time here. But I too look forward to being out of this upside down world and all of the lies and deceit. Please Lord help us through this time. MARANATHA

Thankfully Jesus did it ALL for us. He wants our love first and foremost. And longing for His return is worthy of a crown. To me that trumps other works. Having said that , its always worth witnessing. I have had occasion to witness the gospel and come away thinking "wow that was easy i need to do that more often" lol. But generally speaking i find the more educated and successful people the hardest to reach and the less educated less "successful" easier to reach. Just as stated in 1 Corinthians.

Hey Dave,
You are not the only one self analyzing. Praise God for the nudge that we feel. Whether guilt or encouragement, God uses ALL things for our good. Guilt comes from the pit of hell, but the urgency we all are feeling to shout to the blinded masses is real and growing! Scott, you are right sir. Jesus did it all. The only thing left for us to do is talk about what He did. At every divine opportunity. I wish more of the steps in my life could have been walking with God instead of towards Him, after a deliberate deviation from the path. And Satan would love to remind me of that....Paul told Timothy to fight the good fight and to literally fight to keep his faith. So must we. There are no heroes here. Just redeemed sinners waiting for the ONE who died in our place.

Strap on the armor and hold on!

Blessings

Brian

Very very good points Brian thanks for that

Yikes....stay away for a few hours and things take off. Shucks...took a half hour to catch up.

Dave and all, absolutely agree. How often I sit around and try to find ways to get involved because when I consider "What have I done for God" I get panicked. Scot's right, of course, but we are justified to God by faith but to other believers by works due to our faith. In short, I'm ashamed at how little I've actually done.

OK Scott...your comment... "Dont ya'll be quoting Caver - that will lead to total anarchy around here and we cant have that! :)"

Shucks, not sure if I should throw a hissy fit or if I resemble that remark.....chuckling, planning revenge. :)

No worries - I'll have the "prophecy update staff" take care of you hehe
