Replacement Theology And The Israel Deception

[Below is just the beginning of this long article, but it is worth reading in full at this link]

By Matt Ward
Following the May 14th US Embassy transfer to Jerusalem, and the subsequent Palestinian provocations at the Israeli-Gazan border, Israel has been under intense worldwide scrutiny, and has suffered exceptionally harsh criticism for essentially defending her borders and her innocent communities within. This criticism has come, as expected, from a wide cross section in the Muslim and Arab world, but also and especially in the West, from those within the mainstream of the Christian church.
These seem to be men and women who have bought wholly into the false doctrine of replacement theology, and they are quite cynically using this recent crisis to further their ultimate goal of delegitimizing Israel.
This is an essential issue because there are many that stand on the fringes of Christianity who are confused and unsure over where they should stand on this issue. To be clear, as a Christian, where you stand on Israel is, I believe, an absolutely pivotal issue.
In my opinion, this is not even an issue about the Jews and whose land it actually is; it is much more important than that. At its heart, this is an issue that pertains to the integrity of God Himself.
At its core, this is an issue about trust; can we as Christians trust and take God at His word, or not? Simply put, does God lie? If the answer to that question is “no, God does not lie,” then one has to seriously ponder some of the positions professing Christians and Christian leaders have taken over the last week regarding Israel.
Israel is besieged all about, literally and metaphorically. Current issues over Israel’s recent use of force, and the perceived rights or wrongs of a US Embassy switch to Jerusalem, are now being used deceitfully and mixed up with replacement theology to further a clear anti-Israel agenda. To a great extent, this has always been so. But it should not be like this within the church.
Replacement theology is growing exponentially within our churches today. It the wholly unbiblical belief that the nation God once called the “apple of my eye” (Zechariah 2:8) has been replaced by the Church and that the current “entity” in the Middle East known as Israel is an unlawful, terrorist usurper of the innocent Palestinian people.
It is a lie spawned in the pit of hell. It is unbiblical; it’s demonstrably false and it is wrong.
I have actually read articles over the last week on mainstream Christian websites, not only bemoaning Israel generally but also openly questioning her legitimacy as a nation state. Tied into this, always subtly, is an insinuation that modern Christian advocates and supporters of Israel have to varying degrees “got it wrong” about Israel and her place in God’s order.
Some have even gone so far as to strongly suggest that the reason for God’s rejection of modern-day Israel is because of Israel’s past disobedience to God, and because of their rejection of Jesus Christ. This argument has been the classic basis of all true anti-Semitism for the last two thousand years, and has led to countless massacres, pogroms and holocausts because of it. Shamefully, we now find it commonplace in the mainstream Christian church.
If this is true, that Israel has been rejected because of her past disobedience and rejection of Jesus, then I say woe to the Church of today. Does our church today really look like an obedient one to you? Apostasy is rampant, as is compromise in all areas of life and seemingly at all levels of leadership, with one or two very notable exceptions. The Jesus taught in many pulpits today is a “different Jesus” (2 Corinthians 11:4) from the one originally taught by the apostles of Our Lord.
My question here is a simple one: If God so readily abandoned Israel for disobedience, then why today do we believe that God will not also abandon us for our own rampant corporate disobedience? Why will God not just raise up another people for Himself who will be obedient, as they preach that He has done with Israel?
I want to be clear. If you are a Christian, then the very basis of your faith should be the words of God Himself, as recorded in scripture. There should be no other basis for revelation outside the Bible. If this is the case, and we are being intellectually honest, then the only conclusion you can draw regarding Israel is an unequivocal one. The land currently occupied by Israel belongs to them alone.
But the Bible goes further. It also states that the land due to Israel extends far, far beyond her present borders, deep into Egypt and out into present-day Iraq.
The Bible clearly teaches that “God does not change” (Malachi 3:6). In preaching, or subtly suggesting that God has essentially abandoned Israel for the Church, the church of today has robbed itself of its own assurance of its own eternal security in God. If God abandoned Israel because of sin and disobedience, then we in the church are doomed because God is an impartial God “who does not change.” The same standards He applied to Israel will be applied to us also.
The reality is that God has not abandoned Israel at all, just like He will not abandon us. Instead, God has allowed Israel to “…experience a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.” (Romans 11:25). God has not forgotten about Israel. He is currently dealing with the Gentile world, and the signs all around us indicate strongly that this Gentile dispensation is about to come to an end.
After this, God will once again turn His full attention to dealing with the remnant of Israel, then finally “…all Israel will be saved” (Romans 11:26).
Israel’s future is irrevocably bound up in the character of God. When Christians question the future of Israel in God’s plans, believing God to have abandoned his once “holy inheritance,” they are actually bringing into question the integrity of God Himself. They are calling God a liar and exposing Him to public shame, because God promised the children of Israel,

Hawaii Volcano: No End In Sight

HAWAII VOLCANO: No end in sight as fresh magma mixes with old

Lava oozing out of cracks for two weeks in rural Hawaii neighbourhoods took on new characteristics as fresher magma mixed with decades-old magma, sending a flow toward the ocean Saturday.

Since a first fissure opened in a community on May 3, lava was mostly spattering up and collecting at the edges of the cracks in the ground. Two neighbourhoods with nearly 2,000 people were forced to evacuate as lava claimed 40 structures.

On Friday afternoon, the lava changed dramatically with one fissure ramping up and sending a flow across a road, destroying four more homes and isolating residents, some of whom had to be air-lifted to safety.

The change is attributed to new magma mixing with 1955-era magma in the ground, creating hotter and more fluid flows, scientists said.
“There’s much more stuff coming out of the ground and it’s going to produce flows that move further away,” said Wendy Stovall, a U.S. Geological Survey volcanologist.
By Saturday morning, two of 22 fissures had merged, creating a wide flow advancing at rates of up to 300 yards (274 metres) per hour. Aerial footage from the USGS showed fast-moving lava advancing to the southeast. The flow was 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometres) from the ocean, scientists said.
In the background, the footage showed lava fountaining 328 feet (100 metres) high at one of the fissures. The fountains are created by vents closing, forcing magma to burst through a single outpoint, Stovall said.
If lava threatens main highways, more people will be told to prepare for voluntary evacuation.
A lava flow was less than a mile (kilometre) away from Highway 137 and would reach it in a matter of hours, officials warned Saturday afternoon. No one lives in its path and another highway remained open as an escape route, said Hawaii County spokeswoman Janet Snyder.
A handful of people were trapped when lava crossed a road Friday and some of them needed to be airlifted to safety.
“They shouldn’t be in that area,” said County Managing Director Wil Okabe. He wants people to heed evacuation warnings.
Edwin Montoya, who lives with his daughter on her farm near the site where lava crossed the road and cut off access, said the fissure opened and grew quickly.
“It was just a little crack in the ground, with a little lava coming out,” he said. “Now it’s a big crater that opened up where the small little crack in the ground was.”
Experts are uncertain about when the volcano might calm down.

Trumpet Judgements And Key Prophetic Dates

Rapture Dates and Trumpet Judgments

Pete Garcia

Inevitably, as we draw closer to the last days, things are beginning to happen with increasing frequency and intensity. These events will trigger a whole slew of emotional responses for those who are awake and watching, ranging from excitement and anticipation, to fear and foreboding.

There will even be that eerie (uncanny) feeling we get when we see the prophetic passages of Scripture literally being fulfilled as we watch events unfold. In these instances, we should take comfort in the words of Christ who, on numerous occasions, stated that we were told all these things beforehand so when they happened, we would believe (John 13:1914:2915:2616:4).

There is no particular format for this brief; I have just had a series of things on my mind so I will unpack these in no particular order.

Rapture-Feasts of the Lord

Leviticus 23-There are many who believe that the Rapture of the Church has to take place on a feast date such as Trumpets or Pentecost. Then there are those who believe a Rapture-event is not dependent upon such dates, but could happen at any moment. I have changed my opinion on this particular topic and now lean toward the former (feast-Rapture) bandwagon simply because Scripture does not support these specific Christ-centric events as happening haphazardly (see Galatians 4:4-5).

Those who believe it has to be on a feast date, make strong cases to the fact that the term “no man knows the day or hour,” is a Jewish idiom referencing the start of the fall feasts. The fall feasts start at the head of their new year (Rosh Hashanah-September/October) which also begins the feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah is the biblical name), because it begins on a new moon. A new moon sighting before modern technology was very difficult to determine exactly when it began. You would not know the exact day or hour. However, you knew generally, when it would begin.
So follow the logic on this, you have four spring Jewish feasts that all occur within a short period:
  • Sabbath Day (weekly)
  • Passover (Pesach) Nisan 14-15 [Fulfilled: Christ death on Calvary]
  • Unleavened Bread (Chag Hamotzi) Nisan 15-22 [Fulfilled: Christ buried]
  • First Fruits (Yom habikkurim) Nisan 16-17 [Fulfilled: Christ’s resurrection]
 ---------Fifty-days later----Last of the Spring Feasts-------------[1 Cor. 15:3-7]
  • Pentecost (Shavuot/Feast of Weeks) Sivan 6-7 [Fulfilled: Holy Spirit given in Acts 2]
---------Four-month break------------------
In John 4, Jesus was compelled to travel to Samaria, and it is here that He speaks to the Samaritan women and asks for water. Samaritan’s were of mixed Jewish and Gentile descent, thus unclean and shunned by the Jews. It is interesting to me that Christ was first compelled to go here (John 4:4) and then used this specific opportunity to present Himself to the Samaritans. It is here that he tells His disciples that the fields are ripe for harvest.
Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. Jn. 4:35-36
---------Beginning of Fall Feasts------------------
  • Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah/Yom Teruah) Tishri 1 [Not yet fulfilled by Christ]
  • Atonement (Yom Kippur) Tishri 10 [Not yet fulfilled by Christ]
  • Tabernacles (Sukkot) Tishri 15-22 [Not yet fulfilled by Christ]
Here is the rub, we do not know if we are going in a May/Pentecost Rapture (because we are a separate/distinct group from Israel), or if we are going in a Fall/Trumpet Rapture. Neither can we be dogmatic about a specific year. However, regarding which feast day makes the most sense, Trumpet’s makes more sense to me since this is a Christ-centric event and He is fulfilling these events, not us. Moreover, the subsequent feasts seem to fall in line with putting the focus back on the 70th Week of Daniel.

The Church is told in 1st Thessalonians 5:4 not to be in darkness (or ignorance) regarding that dayHebrews 10:25 reminds us that we would see the Day approaching. If we could not know the day, then how could NOT be in ignorance about it?  How could we SEE the day approaching, if we could NOT know which day it could be?
Jesus rebuked the church at Sardis (who I believe to be the mainline protestant churches) by saying,

Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard--and keep it and repent. If therefore you shall not watch, I will come like a thief, and you shall not know at what hour I will come upon you. Revelation 3:3
Therefore, as it has happened, the mainline protestant churches have largely abandoned teaching or preaching about prophecy. They have quit watching largely returning their gaze from the sky, to the world around them. Not only has it had a distracting influence upon them, but it has also had a deadening effect. Mainline churches are dying (literally) on the vine. It would appear then that the most commonly used phrase against trying to understand the timing of the Rapture, “no man can know the day or hour,” is packed with a lot more meaning than we were originally led to believe.

Truth

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32
There is no new truth; there is just THE Truth. If Scripture is true and I believe it is, then everything I understand about the world must be understood through that lens (or filter). Geopolitics, economics, technological advancements, current affairs, the sciences, etc., are then all measured against what Scripture has to say (or not say) about a particular topic.
While the secular world might think this particular lens is a blinder or hindrance to objective reasoning, this biblical worldview really is more like a pair of glasses. These glasses exposes the world for what it really is, a four-dimensional construct (height/width/depth/time) that is currently winding-down and falling apart. Moreover, we cannot prevent this deconstruction from happening any more than we could stop an earthquake. Once I accepted the reality that God is in control (and always has been), it has taken away a lot of my own fear and anxiety about what was coming upon the earth.

Peace and Security

For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 1st Thessalonians 5:2-3
Since 9/11, I have increasingly come to understand that one cannot have peace and security(Grk-asphaleia) without giving up rights and liberty. The United States experiment became the most successful manifestation of freedom and liberty in human history, but as of late, has become unsustainable both for practical and existential reasons. Over the past 105 years (or since the Federal Reserve Act of 1913), the United States has steadily and incrementally lost its freedoms to both the globalists and socialist agendas. They (globalists/socialists) seek to destroy our experiment in liberty for their own idealistic purposes of a one-world government. A government that is controlled by a small group of elites. Although the United Nationsbecame the official political mechanism for this global unification, numerous other organizations continue to work toward uniting the world under singular political and economic system.

Islamic Terrorism

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. Matthew 24:6-7
The terms nations and kingdoms used above might seem a bit redundant, but they mean two different things in its original Greek form. Nation is ethnos, by which we get the word ethnicity. Kingdom is basileia, which means a political or governmental elementIn true Hegelian Dialectic fashion (thesisàantithesisàsynthesis), Islamic terrorism has become the “useful excuse” (thesis) by which the citizens of the West demand an answer for (antithesis). The globalists increasingly introduce invasive and constrictive legislation to the West as a foreordained solution (synthesis) for said terrorism. We need only trade freedom for security.

Why do I think this?

Because the West refuses to deal with Islamic terrorism in any common sense way. Instead of recognizing the destructive nature of Islam, western governments (the majority of whom are led by indoctrinated leftists), are doing everything they can to placate and coddle Islamist agendas. Islamic terrorism is useful to them at present (e.g., the Patriot Act, police-state tactics) much in the same way the anarchists were useful prior to World War I.
However, going back to my first point, if the Bible is true (it is), then Islam is not the final dominant form of religion on the earth. Rather, Satan will use Islam until it no longer serves his purposes. What I mean by this is that Satan is currently using the fear and division Islam causes to drive people into the arms of this final world government and religion. Ultimately, Satan intends to install his own man (the Antichrist) on the throne and direct ALL worship to him (Revelation 13). Islam will cease to exist as either a threat or an issue at the conclusion of the Gog-Magog War (Ezekiel 38-39).

Climate Change

According to nature.com, a recent scientific study found that the earth currently contains around 3.04 trillion trees. While that might sound like a lot (it was more than they originally believed), the presumably unbiased researchers go on to theorize that it is roughly half the number of trees they believe existed since humans started walking upright (their opinion).
According to Scripture, during the First Trumpet Judgment, one-third of all the trees on the earth will be burnt up through fire and hail (Revelation 8:7). Purely going off the number of trees, this study shows that almost one-third of three trillion trees are located in the western hemisphere. If we were to add up the total number of trees in the western hemisphere’s three largest nations (Canada-318 billion), Brazil-302 billion), and the (United States-228 billion), we get 848 billion trees. That is 152 billion trees short of one-trillion. However, if we added in the rest of the nations in our hemisphere (Mexico, Argentina, Chile, etc.), it should reasonably fill out the rest of that one trillion trees that are consumed inside the 70th Week of Daniel.

Does this mean that the western hemisphere is destroyed by some supernatural, cataclysmic event? I do not know, but the numbers are intriguing.

How The FBI And CIA Restarted The Cold War To Protect Themselves

How The FBI And CIA Restarted The Cold War To Protect Themselves

On December 29, 2016, the Obama Administration – with three weeks remaining in its term – issued harsh sanctions against Russia over supposed election interference.  Two compounds in the United States were closed and 35 Russian diplomats were ordered to leave the country.

Russia responded by calling the actions “Cold War déjà vu.”
In the two years that have elapsed since, it has been learned that the “intelligence” that formed the basis for the sanctions was beyond dubious.
A single unverified “dossier” compiled by an ex-British spy with no discernable connections to Russia was shopped to FISA judges and the media as something real.
The dossier was opposition research by the Hillary Clinton campaign, a fact that was not disclosed and actively hidden by off-the-book transactions through the law firm Perkins Coie.
As a dog that chases its tail, the fake dossier was being used to cause the investigation which itself lent credibility to the notion of Russian interference.
The FBI and CIA thumbed the eye of an armed nuclear state based on false intelligence.  Why?
The answer is now obvious: to cover up their own election year shenanigans they thought would remain forever hidden in the inevitable Hillary Clinton victory.
Russian collusion had first come to the electorate’s attention in July.  The DNC had lost a cache of its emails either to a phishing scheme or to a hacker.  The emails showed the Clinton campaign and the DNC conspiring to fix primaries against Bernie Sanders.
The outcry among Sanders supporters was sufficiently loud that DNC chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned on the eve of the democratic convention.
It was a huge scandal.  To squelch it for their expected future boss Hillary Clinton, the FBI and CIA constructed a Rube Goldberg machine of “Russian collusion” to blame Trump.

The FBI never bothered to test the computers for a hack.  That task was left to CrowdStrike, a private contractor whose CTO and co-founder, Dmitri Alperovitch, is a Russian ex-patriot and a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, a think tank with an anti-Russian agenda.
The Atlantic Council is funded by Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk, a $10 million donor to the Clinton Foundation.  The fix was in.  CrowdStrike dutifully reported that the Russians were behind the hack.
Lat year The Nation, a progressive publication, got a group of unaffiliated computer experts to test CrowdStrike’s hypothesis and they concluded that the email files were removed from the computer at a speed that makes an off-site download from Russia impossible.
Incredibly, Trump was placed on the defensive for email leaks that showed his opponent fixing the primaries.  His campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, resigned because of past dealings with Russia.
Trump protested by stating the obvious: the federal government has “no idea” who was behind the hacks.
The FBI and CIA called him a liar, issuing a “Joint Statement” that suggested 17 intelligence agencies agree that it was the Russians.  Hillary Clinton took advantage of this “intelligence assessment” in the October debate to portray Trump as Putin’s stooge.
She said, “We have 17, 17 intelligence agencies, civilian and military who have all concluded that these espionage attacks, these cyber-attacks, come from the highest levels of the Kremlin.  And they are designed to influence our election. I find that deeply disturbing.”
The media’s fact checkers excoriated Trump for lying.  It was the ultimate campaign dirty trick: a joint operation by the intelligence agencies and the media against a political candidate.
Trump won anyway against this level of cheating.  It has since been learned that the “17 intelligence agencies” claptrap was always false.  Powerful insiders at the FBI and CIA authored the intelligence assessment and deceptively packaged it as a consensus.
By December 2016, the FBI and CIA needed something to justify their illegal wiretaps and spying.  If not the quid, they at least needed the pro quo: an event that could be portrayed through a hard squint as collusion.
They were not without means.  They had members of Trump’s transition improperly wiretapped.  If they could catch one making a concession to the Russians, they could say “gotcha” – this proves you were always in bed with them.
That is when the CIA and FBI shopped their phony intelligence assessments to President Obama and he sanctioned Russia.  Then they listened in on the Trump transition’s conversation with the Russian ambassador the next day.
Surely General Flynn, Trump’s incoming national security advisor, would scoff at the sanctions and promise to lift them.  That would be the pro quo that proved the quid.   They would finally have anecdotal evidence that showed Trump delivering for Putin.

General Flynn, though, was uncharacteristically noncommittal.   It didn’t work.
The machinations that followed, the secret memos and special counsel, the prosecution of Flynn anyway for what happened in his conversation, the whole sordid mess, is a cover-up.
In the inverse logic of Russian collusion, the investigation itself supplies credibility to the collusion narrative.  Any attempt to end the investigation is obstruction of justice.
One person has the constitutional responsibility end this nonsense.  Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who himself was duped into recusing himself by since discredited intelligence, should bow to recent disclosures of impropriety and say enough is enough.
His Inspector General will be issuing a report to him sometime soon.   Maybe then he will lift his recusal and start the prosecutions.  People should go to jail for this.

Iranian Electronic Warfare Facility Blown Up South Of Damascus - Second Explosion In 4 Days

Iranian electronic warfare facility blown up south of Damascus, second explosion in 4 days

Powerful explosions were reported early Monday, May 21, in the Naijah area south of Damascus. A Syrian military academy situated there serves as an Iranian/HIzballah intelligence war room and an Iranian electronic warfare facility. The explosions were reported by Sky News in Arabic with no official confirmation or indication of what caused them. If confirmed, this would appear to be the second pinpointed attack in four days on an Iranian military target in Syria.

On May 18, fuel, arms and ammunition depots at a Syrian air base near Hama were blown up, causing massive explosions. Despite Syrian official denials, a number of Iranian officers were killed in this attack on one of Iran’s most important bases in Syria.  DEBKAfile’s military sources learned later that the attack was carried out by an unnamed ground force, which fired eight missiles at the base.
