More Arrests As Terror Stalks Jerusalem, Hamas Warns It Will 'Crush' Israel In Future War

More arrests as terror stalks Jerusalem again

Three major Israeli counter-terror operations in a week (Aug.10-16) are a measure of the intensity of terrorist plots for the commission of mass-casualty strikes in Jerusalem.

On Aug. 10, a combined effort of the Shin Bet, the police and the IDF, led to five Palestinians from Hebron being intercepted in the Palestinian Jerusalem neighborhood of El Azaria on their way to an attack. No details of this plot were released. But it was obvious that the five terrorists, armed with guns and explosives, were only stopped at the last minute from reaching the center of Jerusalem, just 15 minutes drive from El Azaria, and conducting a major attack.

Then, on Saturday, Aug. 12, a Palestinian woman knifed a man on Suleiman Street in East Jerusalem, mistaking him for a Jew. He turned out to be a local Arab Christian and was not badly hurt, before a police patrol nabbed the woman.

On Sunday, Aug. 13, a suspect was shot in the foot while resisting arrest at Bet Tsafafa, in southern Jerusalem . The police later reported they acted on a Shin Bet tipoff that the suspect, a resident of the mixed Abu Tor neighborhood, was primed for a terror operation.

On Monday, Aug. 14, indictments were filed at the Jerusalem district court against three residents of East Jerusalem on charges of plotting a shooting attack, as well as targeting police forces and persistent rock attacks on traffic - all in Jerusalem. They were also accused of planning to loose gunfire and explosive devices on vehicles using the Nablus bypass. This group therefore harbored ambitions for a widespread terrorist offensive in and outside Jerusalem.

Although Israel’s security authorities are cagey with the information they release on the mostly covert war they wage on Palestinian and Israeli Arab terror, three geographical areas may be marked out as significant: They are metropolitan Jerusalem including Bethlehem; Hebron - the city and mountain district; and the Israeli Arab town of Umm al-Fahm, northeast of Tel Aviv, which was the home town of the three gunmen who shot dead two policemen on Temple Mount on July 14.

Each location occupies a special place on the terror map.

The terrorist networks of Hebron and its environs are mostly tied ideologically and operationally to the extremist Palestinian Hamas. In the past fortnight, Hamas was found to be receiving large sums of money, most of it coming from sources in the United Arab Republic in the Persian Gulf. Some of the cash was funneled to Judea and Samaria and provided those networks with an extra incentive to go into action.

Finding the UAE funding Hamas terror was somewhat of a shocker to Israel.

After all, the emirate formally joined the anti-terror coalition that US President Donald Trump created during his visit to Riyadh and later to Israel in early April.
The terrorist cells operating in Jerusalem mostly belong to Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party, or its militia, the Tanzim. Most are fringe groups that are not directly associated with their leaders. But the fact that they are free to perform acts of violence against Israelis is worrying Israeli security authorities.

The networks of Umm al-Fahm and its rural villages appear to be ideologically inspired by the outlawed Northern Branch of the Israeli Arab Muslim Movement (which is linked to the Muslim Brotherhood), or directly tied to the Islamic State command center in Syria.

Obviously, Israel’s sovereign presence on Temple Mount, which is holy to three monotheistic faiths and claimed by Muslims, is an abidingly explosive issue. Last month’s crisis centering on the shrine, appears to have abated - but only on the face of it. The embers of the conflagration continue to simmer under the surface of the site and the city.

Yahya Sinwar, Hamas’s leader in Gaza, on Wednesday threatened to “pummel” Israel if necessary.

"Hamas is not seeking a confrontation, but if such a confrontation should arise, Hamas will pummel Israel," said Sinwar, according to Yediot Aharonot.

Sinwar, whose voice has not been heard many times since his appointment as Ismail Haniyeh's replacement last February, warned Israel against "taking stupid steps against Gaza ", adding, "The Palestinian resistance has the ability to respond to that."

Sinwar also made it clear that Hamas was prepared for a confrontation and claimed that the organization's strength was greater than it was during Operation Protective Edge in 2014.

"Israel is not launching a new war against Gaza, which stresses its fear of the unknown that awaits it in Gaza," he claimed.

Since the counterterrorism Operation Protective Edge, Hamas has been busily reconstructing its terror tunnel network breaching into Israeli territory.

A senior Israeli security official estimated several months ago that the terror group continues to dig 10 kilometers in tunnels leading into Israel per month.

Last week, the IDF and the Israel Security Agency (ISA or Shin Bet) exposed significant infrastructures belonging to Hamas in Gaza, including terrorist tunnels intended to be used as hideouts for terrorists and for the transfer of weapons.

Hamas’s chief in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar, said on Wednesday that his movement was not interested in a war, but added that should a conflict break out, Hamas will “crush” Israel.

“We are not seeking a confrontation with the Israelis, but if there is a confrontation, we will crush them,” Sinwar reportedly said, in his first meeting with journalists since ascending to power six months ago.

Sinwar is considered one of Hamas’s most ruthless leaders. His election as Gaza leader raised fears the terror group in control of the Strip might be more prone to enter into a conflict with Israel.

Sinwar reportedly argued during his meeting with journalists that the reason Israel is not starting a war with Gaza is “fear of the unknown that awaits it,” reported the Palestinian news site Mashreq News.

The Israeli military is currently building an above- and below-ground barrier around the Gaza Strip, aimed at countering Hamas tunnels dug into Israel to carry out attacks.

In the past, the military has expressed concerns that the construction of the barrier, which began in earnest this summer, might serve as a catalyst for renewed clashes with Hamas. The terror group sees tunnels as a central weapon in its fight against Israel and the barrier presents a threat to them.

Last week, the IDF revealed the location of two alleged Hamas tunnel sites buried underneath an apartment building and a family home in the northern Gaza Strip, and threatened to blow up both structures despite a desire to avoid civilian casualties.

Sinwar ‘open’ to reconciliation with Abbas

The Hamas Gaza leader, in his meeting with journalists, also stressed that his group would be willing to dissolve the Administrative Committee, a kind of shadow government that has replaced the Palestinian Authority in the Strip.
“Hamas is aware that separation [between Gaza and the West Bank] is suicide for the national project,” reported Mashreq News.
The Administrative Committee was formed by Hamas in March in order to widen its governance in the Strip.

Was The Charlottesville Riot A Set-Up?

Was The Charlottesville Riot A Set-Up?

The riot in Charlottesville, Virginia that took the life of Heather Heyer has some strange coincidences, along with lapses and provocations on the part of Charlottesville and Virginia state officials that make one wonder if the whole affair wasn’t designed to result in a violent clash that not only could be laid at the feet of President Trump, but would spark other violence across the country – which it did.

The first item worth noting in this tragedy is that the organizer, Jason Kessler, appears to be an equal opportunity provocateur. Prior to the election of President Trump Kessler was not associated with the Alt-Right he was an Obama supporter, associated with the violent Leftists of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

As we detailed in last year’s Summer Revolution series, there is a close association between the Occupy Wall Street movement, the violent anarchists of the “Black Block” that featured so prominently in the Charlottesville riot and the Black Lives Matter organizations. All share the same funders, including Nazi collaborator George Soros and the Democracy Alliance, and all have a well-known penchant for violence – and all also have close associations with the Democratic Party.

The second point worth noting is the strange actions of the Charlottesville city officials, especially Mayor Mike Signer (who once advocated an Electoral College coup against President-elect Trump) and documented anti-white racist Vice Mayor Wes Bellamy.

When Jason Kessler applied for a permit to hold his so-called “Unite the Right” rally at the Robert E. Lee statue in Charlottesville it was treated in a fairly business-like manner, although city officials did try to force a move to a larger park.

Kessler went to court and on the night before the rally US District Court Judge Glen Conrad held the rally could go forward at the Lee Statue.
The stumbling block to holding the rally at the Lee statue was allegedly Vice Mayor Wes Bellamy. Bellamy’s authority to cancel the permit is unclear, but his actions allegedly prompted Kessler and the American Civil Liberties Union to scramble to federal court to get the permit reinstated.

It should be noted that Bellamy was forced to step down from the Virginia Board of Education after his racist tweets attacking white people surfaced. During and after the presidential campaign Bellamy has issued virulent and hateful statements about President Trump and his supporters, most recently claiming, contrary to all evidence, that President Trump is the “leader” of white supremacists.

What’s more, in issuing his order allowing the rally to be held at the Lee statue U.S. District Judge Glen Conrad noted the city did not try at the same time to move counter-protesters to another location.

Clearly the city officials wanted the violent riot-prone anarchist protesters downtown at the Lee statue.

But things got even stranger on the day of the riot.

As the crowd built and tensions mounted – and assaults by the Black Block anarchists rose – the city and state police did nothing to enforce Virginia’s anti-masking law.

Unmasking laws, when enforced, have proved to be exceptionally effective deterrents to violence by Antifa thugs, for example at Auburn University in Alabama, where police enforced Alabama’s anti-masking law, ripping off masks and in some cases arresting masked Antifa thugs.

It is bizarre, not to say extremely suspicious, that Virginia’s Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe and Charlottesville city officials Mayor Mike Signer (also a rabid anti-Trump activist), Vice Mayor Wes Bellamy and Police Chief Al Thomas Jr. had this tool that could have been used as necessary against both sides in the riot and did not use it.

It was almost as if they wanted masked thugs to be running wild in their city center.

The final and most bizarre evidence of a set-up was the police “stand-down” order issued as the riot broke out.
Fox News reporter Doug McKelway was in attendance during Saturday’s deadly events in Charlottesville, VA, where he reported that the police were called off as soon as things started turning violent.

“But when the tear gas started to fly, thrown by protesters, the police themselves began to evacuate then. I asked the guy who was in charge, ‘Where you going?’ He said, ‘We’re leaving. It’s too dangerous.’ They had a chance to nip this thing in the bud and they chose not to,“ reported McKelway.

Our friends at ZeroHedge report that the ACLU confirmed that Charlottesville police were ordered to stand down, which allowed the KKK and Antifa to meet face to face with no interference.

As our friend Congressman Steven Smith (GA-15) put it so well in a tweet “Mayor who wanted electoral college coup against Trump allowed Antifa and KKK to walk right into each other—no police.”

Knowing that the Antifa thugs were there with cans filled with cement, baseball bats and even improvised flame throwers why would the police stand down?

One answer is because the Democrats wanted a riot to lay at President Trump’s feet and to spark further violence and civil unrest to fulfill Virginia’s Democratic Senator Tim Kaine’s promise to “fight in the streets” against President Trump and his agenda.

[The video reveals the parallels between ISIS And Taliban's destruction of historical statues and what we are seeing now in the U.S.]

NOTHING. The Islamic State (ISIS) and the Taliban, for many years, have been tearing down centuries-old statues and artifacts, burning books and ancient manuscripts, while blowing up buildings and symbols of pre-Islamic history.

The neo-progressive communists (BLM/SJW/Antifa) are behaving just like Islamic terrorist authoritarians. To allow people to destroy history, is to fall into the muck of fascism and mob rule. The Alt-Left and Islam are actually two sides of the same coin. No wonder they get along so well…

Things To Come: Leftist Revolutions Have No Limits

Leftist Revolutions Have No Limits

The Left couldn’t care less about this particular issue, just as they couldn’t care less about any of their purported “issues.”  As David Horowitz often points out, Marxists believe “the issue is never the issue; the issue is always revolution.” The American Left shares this impulse. They use an issue, then move on to the next. Yesterday’s oppressed factory worker is today’s racist redneck hick. Workers lost their value to the left so the Left moved on.
This explains why after the Leftist activists pushed for and won gay marriage, they more or less shrugged off the murder of 50 gays in Orlando by an Islamic terrorist. It didn’t advance the revolution. They’d moved on to the shiny new penny, transgender rights. When that fight is over, rest assured, they will move on to the rights of pedophiles or to whatever ostracized group they believe will help them to advance the anger and dissent that fuels their revolution.

Even in the comments below Rabbi Boteach’s video, Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) are already coming out against Abraham Lincoln. And, on cue, there has been vandalism at the Lincoln Memorial and calls to remove the statue of Theodore Roosevelt from the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Very soon there will be a push to scrub the entire American Revolution and all of the Founding Fathers. Thomas Jefferson will be first, but George Washington won’t be far behind.

Overriding all of this is the push to declare all of conservatism illegal. All religions not part of the cult of Leftism are deemed hate speech. Any support of the United States as a discrete country is hateful, bigoted, and evil. You supporting your own existence or political power is racism, nationalism, and white supremacy.
The Left has no limits. It’s vital to understand that.

No battle they pick is ever really over the stated issue. Each is merely a step towards the goal of eradicating Western Civilization. They’ve set up a self reinforcing system of rewards, whereby SJWs outbid each other to come up with new ways to be offended. Thus it’s become an ever more radical movement. It’s not about the monuments.

Of course, engaging in the glorification of slavery is bad. But is that still happening across our society? Do any but a small group of fringy losers wish to do this?

If we tear them down now, should we not then tear down the pyramids? Trust me, no vestige of Western Civilization could not be destroyed on the same premise. Every castle in Europe occupied by a despot, every church, every document, every classic work of literature would be vulnerable. In a world where a few degrees of separation join all things, guilt by association can be used to criticize anything and anyone. All will be just a degree or two away from something that can be demonized.

Look what’s happening to football; to the definition of family and gender; to every holiday. Anything can be destroyed if the standard is that it can be related to something bad in any way. Guess what that includes? Everything. SJWs in South Africa are going after Isaac Newton and gravity as “western colonial science.”Get it? Nothing is off limits. Not. A. Single. Thing.

This is about enshrining the Left as The One True Religion. They will replace everything with their own cultish iconography. They will likewise replace all ideas with their own. The fight over the Google memo is identical to this fight. It’s about declaring all things non-leftist outside the scope of legitimate debate including debate and reason themselves. This is not about the Confederacy. That’s yet another in a long, long, long list of fronts. It’s about the existence of anything outside of Leftism. It’s about eliminating debate and installing a global Religion of Leftism. And make no mistake, that religion plans on replacing monuments, books, science and facts, liberty, the concept of natural rights, the rule of law, free speech, Christianity, the United States as a sovereign entity, Europe, and all of Western Civilization. In fact, if you defend any of those things, you are a nationalist which, we are now supposed to believe, is just code for white supremacist and bigot. You must go. You must be replaced.

Supremacist ideologies, by definition, brook no opposition. You are in the group or you’re not. This is no different. And the Left has done this before, many times. Pol Pot, the French Revolution, Mao, Lenin. The push to erase history and start over as a means of revolution is not new by any means. And if you think they have some limit, look to these past revolutions to see that they simply do not. The ideology is self-reinforcing towards runaway radicalism. That’s how Spain ended up digging up nuns to mock religionThe only thing that stops the runaway revolution is pushback prior to its takeover or burnout long after it takes over and fails. It has no internal limits. Limits such as historically recognized morals, established religions, the constitution or even culture, tradition or biology, are all seen as impediments. Moral relativism is the unmooring from these to allow for revolution. Leftist targets are not chosen to promote some moral imperative. They are chosen because they are competition or can be connected to one, even if falsely.

So while I agree with the rabbi and have zero interest in defending Nazis or the Confederacy, I know that this has almost nothing to do with those things to the Left. These are the same powerless 50 Nazis that have existed in America for my whole life. They are just convenient foils for the Left’s current strategy. The Left is filled with strawmen—they paint all of us as privileged, bigoted oppressors. Finding the occasional real-life Klansman or Nazi is great for the Left and they will use it to pretend all their other strawmen are likewise real. Understand that Marxism does not study policy and governance the way that conservatives and libertarians do. They study propaganda, power, and revolutions. They are masters of it. Which is why repeated failure at governance never deters the next revolution.

Leftism—The One True Religion. That’s their goal.

A Vermont man says he was stabbed outside his home by a group of five masked men armed with box cutters on Tuesday, after being labeled a “Nazi sympathizer” for denouncing attempts to ruin the life of a Unite the Right rally attendee — even though he himself strongly disavows white supremacy.
The victim, Sam Wormer, who identifies as neither right or left, is so concerned about the divide in the country that even after being attacked he wasn’t sure that his story should be told. Leftist friends of his confirmed to Big League Politics that he frequently sticks up for “marginalized members of the community.”
Ryan Roy, 28, appeared in the Vice News episode on the events over the weekend in Charlottesville. He was promptly doxed on Twitter and a social media campaign made sure that he was fired from his job at Pizzeria Uno. Additionally, the internet mob called child protective services in an effort to have his young baby removed from his care.

In an interview with Burlington Free Press, Wormer, his former friend and classmate, stated that he was “completely shocked” to see footage of Roy at the rally. The following comments are what he and his friends say would become the alleged “justification” for being stabbed by five masked assailants and labeled a “Nazi sympathizer.”

“He would attend anti-war rallies. He was very left — like anti-Republican, very progressive, very liberal, very anti-Christian,” Wormer recalled of Roy.
The paper reported that Wormer also remembered Roy being part of the “fringe crowd” and as someone who would always stick up for people who were being bullied. Another man who knew Roy confirmed this to Big League Politics — and added that he is also an “ex goth.”
The paper added that “Wormer strongly disagreed with Roy’s views but did not support efforts to get Roy fired or to call the Vermont Department for Children and Families in an attempt to remove his child. Wormer said such efforts would lead to more anger.”
“Taking away somebody’s job and livelihood — I mean, that’s just adding fuel to the fire,” Wormer said. “I don’t think any good is going to come of this on anybody’s side.”
This attempt at showing the humanity in someone without agreeing with their ideas in any way would lead to Wormer’s stabbing.
In another comment about Roy’s attendance in Charlottesville, Wormer had stated: “Seeing him reduced to marching with these assclowns chanting their idiotic rhetoric breaks my heart.”
The backlash was swift. Wormer said that by Monday evening he was already receiving threats for his comments. He added that despite the intimidation attempts, he believes in “critical thinking and proper discourse, not a witch hunt.”

The following day, Wormer wrote a status update saying, “Wow i really cant believe what a neo nazi i am rn. Thanks. All my efforts in life have been sufficiently ruined. Thanks guys at least the moral high ground favors you. I love it.”
Two hours later he would post a photo of his open wound.
“All I did was say the truth as far as I knew it and an attempt upon my life was made.  That’s screwed up,” Wormer told Big League Politics.
On Tuesday evening, Wormer says that he arrived at his home to find the masked assailants waiting for him. He explained that the men called him a “Nazi” and a “fascist” during the attack — despite his comments explicitly denouncing Roy’s views. He added that “if that blade went any deeper I’d be a cold corpse in the ground.”

“Dont know who it was, they were masked waiting outside my house,” Wormer wrote on Facebook. He also urged his friends to “find them [please].”
Instead of concern, some of his friends immediately questioned his defense of Roy as a person.
“Dude dont get involve with tha racist shit…wat wrong with u dawg???” a friend asked on the post, rather than immediately checking if he was okay.
As of early Wednesday morning, Wormer’s attackers remained at large. He told Big League that he was too focused on his wound to attempt to figure out their identities, but believed they were driving a dark colored sedan.

Iran Counters U.S. Sanctions With New War Spending, Warships To The Atlantic Ocean, China And Russia Push Talks As N Korea Steps Back

Iranian leaders are responding to the latest round of sanctions signed by US President Donald Trump with a two-pronged approach: increased defense and intelligence spending by roughly $600-800 million and marshalling military vessels to the Atlantic Ocean.

"We moved into the Atlantic and will go to its Western waters in the near future," Sayyari added. In April, Sayyari reportedly said, "redeployment in the Atlantic Ocean, intelligence superiority, development of communications, progress in the development of the Makran coast and building new vessels are among the Navy’s plans this year."

The legislative measure was reportedly passed to chants of “Death to America.” About half of the new funding will go to ballistic missile development, the Wall Street Journal reported, while $61 million will be allocated to Iran’s nuclear program. The bill has the backing of moderate Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, according to Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi. The next step for the bill is to go to an oversight body, the Guardian Council, which is expected to support it.

"The bill had very wisely tried not to violate the [nuclear deal] and also gives no chance to the other party to manipulate it. This bill is an astute response to the enmity and wickedness of the United States against Iran," Araqchi told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), an Iranian state-run media outlet.
On August 2, US President Donald Trump signed into law a new round of sanctions targeting Iran, North Korea and Russia. The bill overwhelmingly passed the House by a margin of 419-3 and the Senate by a vote of 98-2. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul were the two “no” votes in the upper legislative chamber.
"Neither the US nor Iranian leaders want to seem soft to their domestic constituencies," Abrahms noted, adding "sanctions against Iran, I predict, is just one of a broader set of countermeasures coming against Iran."

Within the past week alone, unarmed Iranian drones have harassed US aircraft and carriers in the Persian Gulf on two separate occasions, which the US Navy described as "unsafe and unprofessional" encounters. On Tuesday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement that the "IRGC’s drones are equipped with standard navigation systems and are guided accurately and professionally; therefore, claims made by Americans are rooted in weakness of their diagnostic and identification systems or otherwise in their intention to mislead the public opinion."

China and Russia pushed Tuesday for talks to defuse the "confrontational spiral" between the US and North Korea after Kim Jong-Un stepped back from a planned missile strike near Guam.

The North Korean leader said he would wait and see how the United States behaved before deciding whether to execute the planned launch of four missiles over Japan towards the tiny US territory in the Pacific.

Some analysts suggested Kim was opening a possible path to de-escalating tensions, which spiked dramatically with recent bellicose exchanges between US President Donald Trump and Pyongyang.

The North's official KCNA news agency said Kim was briefed on the "plan for an enveloping fire at Guam" during an inspection on Monday of the Strategic Force command in charge of the nuclear-armed state's missile units.

But it said Kim would "watch a little more the foolish and stupid conduct of the Yankees" before executing any order.
"In order to defuse the tensions and prevent the dangerous military conflict on the Korean peninsula, it is necessary for the US to make a proper option first," he added.
China said Tuesday that the North Korean nuclear crisis had reached a "turning point" and it was time to enter peace talks.

What Happens When Extremists On One Side Are Empowered, The Point Of No Return Has Been Reached

Charlottesville is what happens when the Left empowers extremists.

In Dallas, a black nationalist activist shot and killed 5 police officers at a Black Lives Matter anti-police rally. Instead of condemning BLM, Barack Obama defended a racist hate group whose role model is Assata Shakur, a wanted black nationalist cop killer, at the funerals of the murdered officers.
The left killed civil rights and replaced it with black nationalism. The racial supremacism of black nationalism that killed those officers is everywhere.  Ta-Nehisi Coates and Ibram X. Kendi are lionized as brilliant thinkers instead of hateful racists, Amazon has ordered a black nationalist secessionist fantasy from Aaron McGruder and Showtime aired ‘Guerilla,’ a miniseries glamorizing Black Panther terrorism.
But racism is a two-way street. So is violence. Extremists feed into each other.
You can’t legitimize one form of racism without legitimizing all of them. The media may advance this hypocritical position. Obama used the shameful “reverse racism” euphemism that distinguishes between black and white racism. But propaganda and spin don’t change the physics of human nature.

Either all racism is bad. Or all racism is acceptable.
Charlottesville is what happens when you normalize racism and street violence. Every normalization of extremism equally normalizes the extremism of the opposite side.
A civil society depends on a consensus. ‘Racism is bad’ is an example of such a consensus. If you normalize black nationalism, you will get more white nationalism. If you normalize leftist street violence against Trump supporters, you will also get more street violence against leftists.
Extremists want to eliminate the consensus of civil society. They want to destroy the idea that there’s any solution except violence through confrontations that show the helplessness of civil society.

That’s true of black nationalists and white nationalists, of Communists and Nazis, of Antifa and  Vanguard, of the tankies and hipster Nazis of the Alt-Left and the Alt-Right. They’re a set of evil twins and when you unleash one, you unleash the other. Their real enemies aren’t each other, but everyone in the middle. The bourgeois normies who don’t want to replace society with their totalitarian nightmare.
Street violence raises the bar so that only the violent will participate in protests. If you “no platform” campus speakers, then the only speakers you get will be those willing to face bomb threats, arson, and physical assaults. If you fire people for their views, political activism becomes the province of anonymous trolls and unemployed street thugs. Extremism limits political discourse to extremists.
If Democrats really want to stop the rise of Neo-Nazi violence, there’s a very easy way. Stop normalizing black nationalism and the Alt-Left. End the racist witch hunts for white privilege. Make it clear that street violence is unacceptable and that racism is bad no matter who it comes from. Allow people you disagree with to express their views without trying to destroy their lives.
But that’s the opposite of what the Dems will do. They don’t want fewer Neo-Nazis; they want more of them. They don’t want fewer attacks like Charlottesville and Charleston. They want more of them.

The Dems have become an extremist party run by the radical left. Obama, Holder, and Lynch made common cause with black nationalist hate groups against civil society. It began when Obama defended the vile racism of Jeremiah Wright and concluded with DOJ organized race riots. DNC boss Tom Perez addresses La Raza and his deputy Keith Ellison is a veteran of the Nation of Islam.

The radical left wants to see Neo-Nazis gain prominence on the right to polarize the country. It wants to see our values and norms drowned in violence so that it has an excuse to eliminate free speech. It seeks to eliminate democracy by making the other side appear nightmarishly dangerous. It plots to impose a totalitarian system on the United States by empowering extremists to destroy the current system.

And their opposite numbers waving swastika flags want the same thing. The difference is that they don’t control the Republican Party the way that the Alt-Left and black nationalists control the Democrats.

Charlottesville is what happens when civil society fails. And those who set the terms of permissive discourse, who control the media, academia and social norms, are responsible for the failure.

Conservatives don’t have that kind of power. It’s the left that does.

Liberals, if there are any left on the left, can shut down racism and extremism. Or they can continue normalizing it until it’s mainstream and meaningless.

If you want to understand how we got to Charlottesville, the events at Evergreen State on the other side of the country are as good a place as any to start.

Democrats claim a mandate from the “Right Side of History” to eliminate all the compromises. Catholic nuns must pay for abortions and birth control, Christian bakers and florists must participate in gay weddings, every white person must confess their racism, and every left-wing extremist must get their way.
That’s how you tear a society apart.
The Bill of Rights is an uncomfortable compromise. It says that we have to put up with people we don’t like. The Democrats, under the influence of the left, are rejecting that idea. But that goes both ways too.
You can have a liberal society or an illiberal one. But you can’t have a society that is selectively liberal when it comes to your bigotry, but illiberal of the bigotry of others, that believes you have the right to say anything you please without consequences, but that no one else does, that you can punch, but not be punched. That’s a totalitarian state. And the only way to realize it is through violence.
Democrats need to take an honest look at the street violence in Seattle, in Portland, in Berkeley and Charlottesville, and decide if this is what they really want. If they don’t, it’s time for them to stop normalizing left-wing extremism. If they do, then they are to blame for the next Dallas or Charlottesville.
