Extremist Persecution Of Christians, June 2018

"A Pure Genocide": Extremist Persecution of Christians, June 2018

[Below is just the beginning of this lengthy article]

  • The majority of those 6,000 Christians massacred this year were "mostly children, women and the aged... What is happening in ... Nigeria is pure genocide and must be stopped immediately." — Christian Association of Nigeria.

  • "There is no doubt that the sole purpose of these attacks is aimed at ethnic cleansing, land grabbing and forceful ejection of the Christian natives from their ancestral land and heritage." — Christian Association of Nigeria.

  • "Realistically speaking, Christianity is on the brink of extinction in Nigeria. The ascendancy of Sharia ideology in Nigeria rings the death toll for the Nigerian Church." — Christian Association of Nigeria.

  • "Just one in 400 Syrian refugees given asylum in the UK last year were Christians despite them being subjected to 'horrendous persecution.'" — Express, UK.

The Jihad on Nigerian Christians

In what the Christian Association of Nigeria called a "pure genocide," 238 more Christians were killed and churches desecrated by Muslims throughout the month of June. This brings the death toll of Christians to more than 6,000 between January and June of 2018 alone. According to a joint statement by the Christian Association, an umbrella group of various Christian denominations, "There is no doubt that the sole purpose of these attacks is aimed at ethnic cleansing, land grabbing and forceful ejection of the Christian natives from their ancestral land and heritage." In one of the attacks, "over 200 persons were brutally killed and our churches destroyed without any intervention from security agencies in spite of several distress calls made to them."

The majority of those 6,000 Christians massacred this year were "mostly children, women and the aged... What is happening in ... Nigeria is pure genocide and must be stopped immediately." The details of the murder of these thousands, though seldom reported, are often grisly; many were either hacked to death or beheaded with machetes; others were burned alive (including inside locked churches or homes); and women are often sexually assaulted or raped before being slaughtered.

These nonstop Islamic attacks are causing the Christian population of the West African nation to plummet — to the point of extinction by 2043, warned Bosun Emmanuel, the secretary of National Christian Elders Forum. On June 23 he was reported as saying that the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in Nigeria "is openly pursuing an anti-Christian agenda that has resulted in countless murders of Christians all over the nation and destruction of vulnerable Christian communities." Accordingly, "the Church has been weakened and unable to stand before its enemies. Realistically speaking, Christianity is on the brink of extinction in Nigeria. The ascendancy of Sharia ideology in Nigeria rings the death toll for the Nigerian Church.

Bosnia: Unknown persons set a Serbian Orthodox church on fire in the overwhelmingly Muslim majority town of Visoko. The arson attack occurred sometime in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 24. According to the report, "a majority of objects inside the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos — including icons and holy books — has been destroyed, along with a portion of the roof... [T]he main part of the altar has also been broken." That the church had only recently been "repaired over a period of two years" may be significant: According to the Conditions of Omar, which consists of discriminatory stipulations to which Christians must adhere in order to exist under Islamic rule, Christians are required "not to build a church in our city — nor a monastery, convent, or monk's cell in the surrounding areas — and not to repair those that fall in ruins or are in Muslim quarters."

Indonesia: Local Muslims forced the closure of another Christian church in Banjarmasin. "Muslims claimed that the approval given to the church by local authorities was not valid and should be cancelled," the report related. "As a result of the increased tension, the church has had to suspend services, leaving the 100-strong congregation without anywhere to meet." Indonesian law requires the signatures of at least 60 local, non-Christian — meaning Muslim — households before applications for Christian churches are accepted. Due to such requirements, another church that was established in 1995 in the same city has had to move its meeting location seven times. "Christians comprise at least 15% of the population of Indonesia and, until a generation ago, Christians and Muslims lived peaceably as equals," says the report. "However, Christians are now facing increasing discrimination and violence. There have been a number of attacks on churches, including the triple church suicide bombings carried out by members of the same family on Sunday 13 May 2018."

Pakistan: After months of local harassment — including being told "to remove every visible sign of Christianity from their church" — Christians were finally ordered to demolish their church because "Muslims are in the majority in the village, [and] we can't allow a church here," to quote one local Muslim leader. He said the forty Christian families would need to build a church outside the village. "When it is done, we will make the Christians write an agreement that they will sell this current church building or at least dismantle the church structure and crosses," he said.

Migrant Caravan Update: A Crisis Decades In The Making, Now 6,000 Migrants In Tijuana - An 'Invasion'

Thousands of aspiring illegal aliens have marched their way up through Central America and Mexico and are closing in on the U.S./Mexican border. Some of these individuals have reportedly split off from the caravan and have managed to enter the United States without inspection.

They have been encouraged to participate in this massive caravan by our own political “leaders” from both parties. Think about how frequently politicians from both particles have stated that since we cannot deport the millions of illegal aliens who are present in the United States, all we can do is to find a way to “get them out of the shadows” and provide them with lawful status. The Democrats insist on providing millions of illegal aliens with U.S. citizenship while the supposedly “tough” Republicans state that they will “only” provide them with lawful status and permission to work.

So now the debate is over whether or not to provide illegal aliens with citizenship! That is one hell of an example of “bait and switch” foisted on America by the Democrats and the Republicans who are colluding with each other.

Meanwhile a growing list of “Sanctuary Cities” and “Sanctuary States” promise to harbor and shield them from detection by ICE and even permit them to get driver’s licenses while illegal alien students are being offered incentives such as in-state tuition.

Furthermore, as President Trump has stated, not all of them are citizens of Central American countries.

Caravans of trucks and other vehicles have been brought in to facilitate the movement of thousands of people heading towards the United States, yet precious little information appears available to determine who is actually behind any of this. But clearly this is a carefully organized and orchestrated effort and the list of potential co-conspirators has to include the drug cartels and, as I have noted in recent articles, Iran and its client terrorist organization, Hezbollah that now works hand-in-glove with those cartels.

That worrying possibility was my focus in my articles, "The Threats Posed By The Impending Invasion" and "Trump Connects The Dots On Dangers Of Illegal Immigration." The Iranian-sponsored terrorist organization Hezbollah is operating throughout Latin America in close cooperation with drug cartels to smuggle huge quantities of narcotics and aliens into the United States, both as a means of generating funds and as a means of enabling their “sleeper agents” to gain access to the United States.

As I wrote in a recent article, the President of Guatemala has stated that his government has recently arrested and deported members of ISIS back to their home countries in the Middle East. He has also stated that he has information that cash-strapped Venezuela has helped to bankroll this invasion-in-the-making. My concern is that Iran and other adversaries of the United States may have a hand in all of this, and that the caravan may actually be a Trojan Horse, a possibility that has been all but ignored by the mainstream media.

THERE ARE NOW 6,000 MIGRANTS in Tijuana Attempting Asylum in US -- 500 Identified as Criminals (VIDEO)

There are now 6,000 illegal immigrants attempting asylum in the United States in Tijuana, Mexico.

500 caravan immigrants have been identified as criminals.

On Sunday hundreds of protesters in Mexico screamed at the illegal migrant caravan, “Donald Trump was right! This is an invasion.”

We told you last week that some Tijuana residents weren’t all that happy to see the migrant mob from Honduras arriving at the border where they live. Well as a few more days have gone by, the patience of the residents of Tijuana has grown more thin and now they are protesting the migrants, even calling them invaders.

Hundreds of angry residents took to the streets of downtown Tijuana on Sunday to protest the caravan of Central American migrants that has been streaming into the city in recent weeks.
Carrying Mexican flags and singing the national anthem, the demonstrators marched to a sports complex where about 2,000 of the migrants are being housed. There, held back by a wall of riot police, they denounced the mostly Honduran migrants as “criminals” and “freeloaders” who were openly flouting Mexican law.
“This is an invasion!” shouted local carpenter Luis Alexis Mendoza, according to the Los Angeles Times. “We demand respect. We demand that our laws be followed.”
“Tijuana is a city of immigrants, but we don’t want them in this way,” Tijuana Mayor Juan Manuel Gastelum said in an interview with Milenio Television on Thursday. “It was different with the Haitians, they carried papers, they were in order. It wasn’t a horde, pardon the expression.”

Interestingly, Tijuana is begging Mexican officials to do something about this horde – the same Mexican officials that let them through the border in the first place.

Hamas: Israel 'Begged' For Ceasefire

Hamas claimed on Monday that it was Israel who had “begged” for last week’s ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The claim came in response to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statement to the effect that Hamas rulers “begged for a ceasefire and they know why.” Netanyahu made his statement at a memorial service last week for Israel’s first prime minister David Ben-Gurion.

Husam Badran, member of the Hamas “political bureau,” was quoted as saying that Israel “knows that it can start a war, but that it’s impossible to end it. That’s why Israel begged for a ceasefire through mediators.”

Badran told the Arabi 21 news source that Hamas was not asked to “pay a political price” for any understandings with Israel regarding a long-term truce. Such understandings, he added, will not impose any restrictions on the Palestinian “resistance.”

The Hamas official claimed that the recent understandings were reached thanks to the weekly protests along the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel.

According to various reports, Egypt, Qatar and the UN recently succeeded in reaching undeclared understandings between Israel and Hamas – on the basis of “calm for calm” in the Gaza Strip.

Badran also dismissed charges that these understandings were part of US President Donald Trump’s yet-to-be-announced plan for peace in the Middle East, which is also known as the “deal of the century.”

He also claimed that Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman resigned “after he failed to destroy the Palestinian resistance, especially in wake of the last botched failed military and intelligence operation in the Gaza Strip.” He was referring to last week’s clash between an elite IDF unit and Hamas terrorists near Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Referring to unconfirmed reports that progress had been made toward striking a prisoner exchange agreement between Hamas and Israel, Badran said that such an issue requires a decision from Netanyahu. “Apparently, Netanyahu’s political and internal considerations are delaying this issue,” he said. Hamas, he added, was opposed to attempts made to link the proposed prisoner exchange to lifting the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip. “These are two separate issues,” he explained.

Nafez Azzam, a senior Islamic Jihad official in the Gaza Strip, said on Monday that his group will remain committed to the latest ceasefire as long as Israel abides by it. The Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip, he added, “don’t want to go to war at this stage.”

'EU or Chaos' - A False Narrative

Debunking The "EU Or Chaos" Brexit Narrative

The agreement announced between the British government and the European Union has been received in the United Kingdom with criticism from all sides. The defenders of staying in the European Union consider it very negative, of course. However, and this is the most important part, it is unlikely that the conservative party itself will support this agreement in parliament. Jacob Rees-Mogg has called the agreement “a failure of the negotiators and a failure to deliver Brexit.” Boris Johnson has said that it turns the United Kingdom into a “vassal state” and Nigel Farage has described it as “the worst agreement in history”.

Including the entire United Kingdom in the customs union and maintaining the payment of 10 billion pounds a year to give the European Union veto rights to the most important decisions is something that most conservative members of parliament will reject and that does not satisfy the Labor Party – which is also not pro-EU, let’s be clear – nor the liberal-democrats.
That is the great problem facing the government of Theresa May. That not even the government as a whole supports this agreement. The resignations that have been registered prove it. Even if the rest of the government decides to accept this agreement as a lesser evil, it is very difficult for the parliament to approve it.
At the centre of the controversy is a negotiating process that the European Union has left as a United Kingdom issue. But by letting the United Kingdom deal with its own divisions and problems, the EU also lost the perfect opportunity to offer British citizens and the rest of Europe a refreshing, leading and exciting project. And that is the big problem. That Brexit has been seen in many circles in Brussels as an opportunity to advance in the political and interventionist project, instead of moving towards a union in freedom for global, economic and political leadership.
The problem of the UK government is that it is led by a person, Theresa May, who must present a proposal to leave the EU when she has always been an advocate of remaining (Theresa May initially campaigned for the “Remain”). Thus, it is not surprising that the parliament arithmetics in favor of this agreement is not at all clear.
The British Parliament has more members in favor of Brexit than against, but it cannot be THIS Brexit.

Boris Johnson and the pro-Brexit hardliners may see an opportunity to weaken Theresa May and force a change of leadership that will bring a new leader more committed to a better deal.
Moderate Labour, who have been terrified for months with the radical drift of the Corbyn team, may also see an opportunity to weaken the leader who tries to take Labour to the far left.
My perception is that if there were a second referendum the result would probably be the same. In the United Kingdom there are no voices with political weight and real popular support to defend the European Union project. In the United Kingdom, the debate is either seeing the European Union as an annoying partner or as an impossible danger to solve.
Citizens in Europe see Brexit with sadness, logically. In the United Kingdom, news arriving from the European Union do not encourage a remain stance

High unemployment, unresolved immigration problems, lack of global leadership, high taxes, the specter of a new debt crisis in Italy and other risks. Pro-Europe UK leaders offer no other argument to citizens than the so-called Project Fear, a massive economic risk. However, British citizens see UK unemployment at 75-year lows, while in Europe they see the slowdown of the eurozone and the budget crisis of other countries, and do not find an unquestionable reason to stay in the club.
The UK citizen who votes for Brexit does not seem convinced that the only solution is to belong to a union that demands more control but offers less growth and employment.
The reactions to the agreement have not been very euphoric in any case. It seems something that was presented to fail.
The pound and stock market did not react as the EU negotiators would think once the deal was seen as unlikely to pass parliament. In the bond market, Gilts strengthened as UK bond spreads fell while eurozone peripheral yields soared. The opposite of what would be seen as an EU victory.

The problem in the United Kingdom is that the agreement that would satisfy the pro-Brexit is impossible, and that the agreement that would please the pro-EU is impractical. That the message of economic ruin is not bought by Brexiters and not even the Remainers see the marvels of the EU membership.
Economically, it has been a mistake to present British citizens with the idea of “either the EU or the chaos”, because it does not work when there is not a clear, exciting and global leadership project.

Things To Come:

Democratic 2020 Candidate Pushes US Govt-Sponsored 'Social Credit' System Like China's

New York entrepreneur and Democratic 2020 candidate Andrew Yang wants to implement a system in which a government-run mobile app rewards Americans with “digital social credits” (DSCs) for good behavior.

Americans would receive DSCs under Yang’s system for things such as “participating in a town fair,” “fixing a neighbor’s appliance” or “tutoring a student,” his presidential campaign website explains.

“As individuals rack up DSCs, they would have both a permanent balance they’ve earned over their lifetime and a current balance. They could cash the points in for experiences, purchases with participating vendors, support for causes, and transfer points to others for special occasions,” Yang states on his website.
“As their permanent balance gets higher, they might qualify for various perks like throwing a pitch at a local ballgame, an audience with their local Congressperson or meeting their state’s most civic-minded athlete or celebrity.”
“The most socially detached would be the most likely to ignore all of this,” he added. “But many people love rewards and feeling valued.”
Yang’s social credit plan bears some similarities to the social credit system implemented by China’s authoritarian government.
Every citizen in China is assigned a social credit score that determines whether they can buy plane or train tickets.
Unlike the Chinese system, Yang’s plan does not include using digital social credit for punitive measures.

In addition to the social credit system, Yang’s platform also calls for paying every American a universal basic income of $1,000 a month and government-sponsored journalism.
