IDF Tanks Strike Syrian Army Post After Mortar Fire, Hamas Chief: We Won't Discuss Recognizing Israel, Only Wiping It Out

IDF tanks strike Syrian army post after errant mortar fire

Israeli tanks struck a Syrian army mortar position near the city of Quneitra on Thursday, hours after a shell from Syria landed in the northern Golan Heights, the Israel Defense Forces said.
On Thursday afternoon, the mortar shell landed in an open field on the Golan Heights in an apparent case of spillover fire from the fighting in Syria, the army said.
In response to the shelling, Israeli tanks stationed near the border fired back at the Syrian military position on Thursday evening. The IDF said the mortar position it attacked was the same one that fired the shell earlier in the day.
“The IDF holds the Syrian regime responsible for any aggression from within its territory, and will not tolerate any attacks threatening the Israeli sovereignty and the safety of its civilians,” the army said.
No siren was sounded as the warning system detected the projectile would land in an uninhabited area.

On Wednesday afternoon, rocket sirens rang out in IDF bases in the Golan Heights, set off by internal fighting across the border.

Israel responded with tank fire into Syria on Thursday after a Syrian mortar shell landed in the Israeli-occupied part of the Golan Heights, the army said.
"In response to the projectile that hit Israel earlier today, the Israel Defence Forces targeted the sources of fire in the Syrian Golan Heights," it said in an English-language statement.
It did not identify the sources of the Syrian fire nor say whether it considered it to be a deliberate attack or unintentional spillover from the Syrian civil war, as in several previous incidents.
It said the mortar shell fell on open ground and caused no injuries.

Speaking shortly afterwards in the Jordan Valley, part of the Israeli-occupied West Bank, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu implied that the Syrian shell was a stray but said it was nevertheless unacceptable.

"We do not accept spillovers and if they hit us we return fire -- and it doesn't take much time," his office quoted him as saying in Hebrew.

On Monday, Israel carried out an air strike on an anti-aircraft battery in Syria after the battery fired on its planes during surveillance flights over neighbouring Lebanon.

The Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip on Thursday dismissed US and Israeli demands that it lay down its arms and recognize the Jewish state, saying the terror organization is instead debating “when to wipe out Israel.”
The remarks came during a closed roundtable discussion between Yahya Sinwar and Gazan youth about the ongoing reconciliation negotiations with rival Palestinian faction Fatah, to which some media outlets were invited to attend.

“Over is the time Hamas spent discussing recognizing Israel. Now Hamas will discuss when we will wipe out Israel,” Sinwar said, according to the Hamas-linked news agency Shehab.
A Hamas spokesperson released a few official quotes from the meeting. The Sinwar comment about discussing “when we will wipe out Israel” was not included in the transcript, which featured the Hamas leader again rejecting disarmament and Israel recognition.
“No one in the universe can disarm us. On the contrary, we will continue to have the power to protect our citizens,” Sinwar said, according to the official statement. “No one has the ability to extract from us recognition of the occupation.”
Since its inception nearly three decades ago, Hamas has sought to destroy the State of Israel.

The Iran nuclear deal failed to permanently cut off Iran's path to a nuclear weapon, as well as thwart its Middle East terror activities, CIA Director Mike Pompeo said at a conference Thursday.

US President Donald Trump had concluded the deal had only delayed Iran’s nuclear program, and that “the notion that entry” into the deal “would curtail Iranian adventurism, the terror threat, proved to be fundamentally false.”

Pompeo was being interviewed on stage by the Foundation for Defense of Democracies’ Center on Sanctions and Illicit Finance chairman Juan Zarate, just days after Trump decertified Iran’s compliance with the deal in a major speech.

Though he evaded a question about whether Iran had violated the nuclear deal on a technical level, Pompeo focused on the Islamic Republic's continued testing of ballistic missiles, prompting of Hezbollah to threaten Israel and being “at the center of so much turmoil in the Middle East.”

Nobody puts little Rocket Man in a corner.
As we've noted time and time again, tensions between the US and North Korea have only intensified since Russian President Vladimir Putin proclaimed last month that the two countries were on the verge of a nuclear conflict, a warning that the North’s Deputy Ambassador to the UN echoed on Monday, but has so far done little to dent the rally in global stock markets.
But with Russia at least ostensibly reining in support for Kim Jong Un’s increasingly isolated regime, Putin warned that foreign powers should avoid "backing North Korea into a corner." Doing so would risk provoking a desperate, violent response, he said.

Putin added that the North is a “sovereign state” and reiterated his call that the standoff between the US and its regional allies and the Kim regime could only be resolved with dialogue - a solution that Russia and China - the North’s primary benefactor - have been pushing for months, NBC reported.
"Whether one likes the North Korean regime or not – it should not be forgotten that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a sovereign state. Any contradictions must be resolved in a civilized manner. Russia has always been calling for such approach," he said.

Since early August, the UN Security Council has passed two rounds of painful economic sanctions against the North - decisions that both China and Russia signed off on. Yet so far, there appears to be scant evidence that the sanctions are harming the North’s economy or its missile program as the North’s economy has long relied on arms sales and other illegal activities to generate badly needed foreign capital.

Out Of The Closet: Two Globalists Finally Admit Their Agenda

George W. Bush Drops His Mask on Russian Election Collusion and Globalism

Former President George W. Bush—whose lips remained forever sealed during the eight long years that Barack Hussein Obama was uninterruptedly fundamentally transforming America—threw his weight on the no-evidence conspiracy that the Russians stole the election from Hillary Clinton, today.
“In remarks at a forum in New York held by the organization that runs his presidential library, Bush said the Russian cyberattacks amounted to a “sustained attempt by a hostile power to feed and exploit our country’s divisions.” (NBC News, Oct. 19, 2017)

He seemed to call for America to raise the white flag of surrender to globalization:

“We cannot wish globalization away, any more than we could wish away the agricultural revolution,” he said. “One strength of free society is the ability to adapt to economic and social disruptions and that should be our goal,” he said. (NBC)

Other than advising Americans to show the white flag of surrender, Bush’s statement today on globalism is reminiscent of his father, President George H.W. Bush who, before a joint session of Congress on the State of the Union, on Jan. 29, 1991 said: “What is at stake is more than one small country; it is a big idea: a new world order, where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind—peace and security, freedom, and the rule of law. Such is a world worthy of our struggle and worthy of our children’s future.”

For anyone startled about the the former president’s remarks on Russia, racism and globalism,
according to spokesman, Freddy Ford, “These are the same themes President Bush has spoken on for the last two decades.”
If these are the same themes, nobody seemed to have heard them when he was in the White House.
For the sake of America’s survival, which would be impossible without sovereignty,  Americans must fight globalism tooth and nail.

John McCain is out of the closet. The globalists are out of the closet. They are publicly advancing their New World Agenda and it is fully out in the open. Recently, John McCain received a meaningless award that globalists like to give each other and in his aceptance speech, he made the following dig at Trump for being a patriotic American:

“To fear the world we have organized and led for three-quarters of a century, to abandon the ideals we have advanced around the globe, to refuse the obligations of international leadership and our duty to remain ‘the last best hope of earth’ for the sake of some half-baked, spurious nationalism cooked up by people who would rather find scapegoats than solve problems, is as unpatriotic as an attachment to any other tired dogma of the past that Americans consigned to the ash heap of history,” McCain said. [Quoted by Breitbart]

John McCain is one of “them”. He is a self-admitted globalist who is working for the destruction of the American people and their country. By default, he is a disciple of globalist Ted Turner who told Audobon Magazine that the population of the earth needs to reduced by 95%. McCain supports giving away American sovereignty to international bodies whose goal is to advance globalism AT THE EXPENSE OF AMERICAN LIBERTIES, NATIONAL SECURITY AND JOBS.

In retrospect, this should not be surprising. McCain, along with the late Ted Kennedy co-sponsored the Central American Free Trade Agreement which gave away much of America’s sovereignty, jobs and allowed millions of illegal aliens, including ISIS and MS-13, to enter the United States with impunity.

McCain supports free trade agreements that steal millions of American jobs. McCain supported the TPP which would have destroyed what’s left of the sovereignty in America. It is obvious that McCain hates America and Americans.

I was once at a town hall meeting in Mesa, AZ., when an elderly gentleman asked McCain “how is it that you work for me and you have better health care than I do?” McCain’s thuggish security team, who looked liked type-cast mafiaso thugs, very roughly threw the frail man out for asking the question as McCain mocked the man. At the same meeting, he was asked why he supported Agenda 21 policies and he stated “I have never heard of Agenda 21 policies”. I witnessed these events with my own eyes.

John McCain is owned by George Soros and sold out America to Soros’ open borders policy.

By the way, Cindy McCain is NOT the original Mrs. McCain. Carol McCain, a former model, had a terrible car accident which left her disfigured when John McCain was in a North Vietnamese prison camp. Upon returning home, McCain quickly divorced Carol and married Cindy Hensley whose family launched John McCain’s political career. McCain has done to the country, what he did to Carol McCain. According the New York Times, the Hensley family had a “very rough and tumble background” with allegations of bootlegging and tax evasion. Cindy McCain’s business has been fraught with conflicts of interest. Her prenuptial agreement with John makes it diffiuclt to track the Senator’s finances to try and ascertain who is in his pockets.
I find it ironic that McCain, the buffoon, who finished third to the bottom of his class at the Naval Academy, was ever allowed to fly a fighter jet. A fighter jet that he crashed into other planes as he almost sunk his own ship during the Vietnam War. The irony is that the warship, John McCain, is in dry dock as I write these words for crashing into another ship as it was almost sunk.
Like Hillary Clinton, John McCain stands at the intersection of corrupt government and the Deep State, who John McCain faithfully serves. We do owe John McCain a  debt of gratitude. He has helped to expose the globalist agenda and their intentions toward the American people.

Hammer Drops On Deep State - Does Wikileaks Hold The Key To Bring Down The Whole House Of Cards?

On October 16, 2017 ANP highlighted a message from Sean Hannity, "Tock Tock," to which those familiar with Hannity understands that is his way of giving his followers a heads up that something huge is about to drop and while the promised "Boom" actually came a day later than what he initially predicted, but when it did come, it was a virtual explosion which drops the hammer on the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and multiple high level deep state players.

The article Hannity linked to at The Hill is titled "FBI uncovered Russian bribery plot before Obama administration approved controversial nuclear deal with Moscow." The article is long, in-depth, and is accompanied by document embeds, exposing hidden deals, corruption and provides ample evidence of real collusion with Russia, in regards to "a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium."  Enough so to have Congress already addressing the issue, just one day after the bombshell was dropped.

The entire article is a must read, but we will offer some kepy quotes and points below before we start looking at a timeline of events that show this initial report, may just be the tip of the iceberg.

Federal agents used a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather extensive financial records, make secret recordings and intercept emails as early as 2009 that showed Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, FBI and court documents show.

The connections to the current Russia case are many. The Mikerin probe began in 2009 when Robert Mueller, now the special counsel in charge of the Trump case, was still FBI director. And it ended in late 2015 under the direction of then-FBI Director James Comey, whom Trump fired earlier this year.

Iran Warns Israel Against Breaching Syrian Airspace, Iran Vows To Boost Missile Program In Defiance Of U.S. Pressure

From Damascus, Iran vows to confront Israel

Iran's military chief warned Israel against breaching Syrian airspace and territory on a visit to Damascus on Wednesday, raising tensions with Israel as it voices deep concern over Tehran's influence in Syria.

General Mohammad Baqeri pledged to increase cooperation with Syria's military to fight Israel and insurgents, Iranian and Syrian state media said.

Iranian forces and Iran-backed Shi'ite militias, including Hezbollah, have provided critical military support to Damascus, helping it regain swathes of Syria from rebels and militants.

"It's not acceptable for the Zionist regime to violate the land and airspace of Syria anytime it wants," Baqeri said at a news conference with his Syrian counterpart.

"We are in Damascus to assert and cooperate to confront our common enemies, the Zionists and terrorists," he said, a reference to Israel and Sunni Muslim jihadists including Islamic State.

"We drew up the broad lines for this cooperation," Syrian state media cited the Iranian military chief of staff as saying.

Iran's expanding clout during Syria's more than six-year war has raised alarm in Israel, which has said it would act against any threat from its regional arch-enemy Tehran.

Israel's air force says it has struck arms convoys of the Syrian military and Hezbollah nearly 100 times during the war.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps on Thursday vowed to accelerate its controversial ballistic missile program, a day after the US urged the international community to follow the Trump administration’s footsteps and confront Iran over its “destructive conduct” across the Middle East.
“Iran’s ballistic missile program will expand and it will continue with more speed in reaction to Trump’s hostile approach towards this revolutionary organization,” the IRGC said in a statement published by the semi-official Tasnim news agency and translated by Reuters.
The Guard’s statement also blamed the “Zionist regime” along with the White House for implementing “devastating” policies in the region.
On Wednesday, US Ambassador Nikki Haley urged the UN Security Council to adopt the Trump administration’s tough approach to Iran and address all aspects of its “destructive conduct” — not just the 2015 nuclear deal. The Trump administration has threatened to label the IRGC, a hardline militant organization that operates outside the Iranian army at the behest of the country’s supreme leader, as a terror group.
Haley told the council that Iran “has repeatedly thumbed its nose” at council resolutions aimed at addressing Iranian support for terrorism and regional conflicts and has illegally supplied weapons to Yemen and Hezbollah militants in Syria and Lebanon.

“Worse, the regime continues to play this council,” Haley said. “Iran hides behind its assertion of technical compliance with the nuclear deal while it brazenly violates the other limits of its behavior, and we have allowed them to get away with it.”

“This must stop,” she said at the council’s monthly meeting on the Mideast and the Israeli-Palestinian issue.

Haley cited a long list of Iranian violations, including threatening freedom of navigation in the Gulf, cyberattacks, imprisonment of journalists and other foreigners, and abuses of its people by persecuting some religions and imprisoning gays and lesbians.
She called Iran’s “most threatening act its repeated ballistic missile launches including the launch this summer of an ICBM enabling missile.”
“This should be a clarion call to everyone in the United Nations,” Haley said. “When a rogue regime starts down the path of ballistic missiles, it tells us that we will soon have another North Korea on our hands.”

8 European Countries Demand Israel Pay For West Bank Structures It Destroyed, Israel Finishes Advancing 2,600 West Bank Homes, EU Says Settlements Undermining Peace Efforts

8 European countries demand Israel pay for West Bank structures it destroyed

Eight European Union member states are demanding that Israel pay them back for the demolition and confiscation of buildings and other installations constructed for the benefit of Bedouin encampments in Area C of the West Bank by the EU’s mission in Israel.
A letter from the EU member states, led by Belgium, setting out the demand will be handed to the Israeli Foreign Ministry in the coming days, according to the Haaretz newspaper, citing an initial report in France’s Le Monde daily.
In August, Israel dismantled a structure in West Bank Bedouin Arab village of Jabal al-Baba adjacent to al-Azariya, that was slated to open as a kindergarten for 25 children and a structure being used to house a small primary school in the southern West Bank. In addition, it confiscated solar panels on another structure being used as a school in the southern West Bank.

At the time, the EU expressed “strong concern about the recent confiscations of Palestinian school structures undertaken by Israel in Bedouin communities in the occupied West Bank.”
Israeli officials said that the installations, which include mobile rooms meant to serve as classrooms and solar panels to supply electrical power to the tent and shack dwellings of the semi-nomadic Bedouin communities of the central West Bank, were constructed illegally, without obtaining proper building permits.
Palestinian activists and EU diplomats counter that Israel makes it too difficult to obtain such permits, effectively imposing a ban on development for Palestinians living in Area C, the part of the West Bank under full Israeli civil and security control.
Besides Belgium, the seven other signatories to the letter are France, Spain, Sweden, Luxembourg, Italy, Ireland and Denmark.
According to the report, each country’s government is demanding Israel return to them the equipment it confiscated when dismantling the structures, and if it refuses, to pay them 30,000 Euros for it.

“The destruction and confiscation of humanitarian equipment, including infrastructure for schools, and disrupting the transfer of humanitarian aid contradict Israel’s commitments under international law and cause suffering for the Palestinian residents” of the area, the letter says, according to a Hebrew-language translation by Haaretz.

Israel is reportedly set to reject the demand out of hand.
According to Israeli officials, the EU’s structures are not humanitarian aid, but amount to development activities carried out without coordination and unlawfully in a bid to strengthen Palestinian claims to the areas where it is taking place.
Anywhere from 150,000 to 300,000 Palestinians live in Area C, which includes all Israeli settlements and covers about 60 percent of the West Bank’s land area. Area C Palestinians live in some 180 villages, most of which are not recognized by Israel. Unrecognized villages often lack basic infrastructure and planning, and are under threat of demolition.

The Defense Ministry body responsible for authorizing settlement construction advanced plans for some 1,300 West Bank homes Wednesday, capping off a week which saw the green-lighting of over 2,600 homes.
Included in the plans that gained final authorization for building by the Civil Administration’s High Planning Subcommittee were projects for the evacuees of the illegal Migron (86 units) and Amona (102 units) outposts.
The two communities were demolished in September 2012 and February 2017, respectively, after the High Court of Justice ruled they had been built on private Palestinian land.

Also among the 1,232 West Bank housing units advanced by the Civil Administration subcommittee Wednesday were 459 homes in Ma’ale Adumim.

The European Union Wednesday warned Israel that continued building in the West Bank is endangering efforts to renew peace talks with the Palestinians, as Israel advanced over 2,000 homes in a two-day blitz of approvals.
“The European Union has requested clarifications from Israeli authorities and conveyed the expectation that they reconsider these decisions, which are detrimental to ongoing efforts towards meaningful peace talks,” a statement said.
“This week, Israeli authorities further promoted plans, tenders and permits for thousands of settlement units across the West Bank, including, for the first time since 2002, in the heart of Hebron,” the spokesperson said in the statement.

“All settlement activity is illegal under international law, and it undermines the viability of the two-state solution and the prospect for a lasting peace,” the body said.
Turkey also condemned the new building, calling it a “violation” of rights of the Palestinian people.
“We condemn the Israeli authorities’ advancement of the procedure related to the construction of 1,588 additional units at illegal settlements in West Bank which they keep under occupation,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement. “These unacceptable violations of the most fundamental rights of the Palestinian people destroy the ground for a two-state solution.”

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu told Israel that Moscow has agreed to expand a buffer zone along the Israeli-Syrian border, where Iranian and Hezbollah forces will not be allowed to enter, Arab media reported Wednesday.

The statement attributed to an Israeli diplomatic official by London-based Asharq Al-Awsat said that Russia had refused the Israeli request for a 40 kilometers (25 miles) buffer zone, but expressed willingness to extend a 10-15 kilometer off-limits zone. Russia, which views Iran as a key player in resolving the crisis in Syria, has repeatedly emphasized the importance of the role that the Islamic Republic plays in the war-torn country.

As the war in Syria seems to be winding down in Assad’s favor due to Moscow’s intervention, Israel fears that Iran will help Hezbollah produce accurate precision-guided missiles and aid Hezbollah and other Shi'ite militias to strengthen their foothold in the Golan Heights.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has publicly criticized a US-Russian cease-fire deal in Syria, saying that it does not include any provisions to stop Iranian expansion in the area. Russia is reported to have rejected a request from Jerusalem for a 40-kilometer buffer zone between the Golan Heights and any Iranian-backed militias in Syria, only agreeing to make sure that no Shi'ite fighter would come closer than 5 kilometers from Israel.

According to the report in Asharq al-Awsat, Shoigu told Israeli officials that the 40 km demand was unrealistic and that Iranian and Hezbollah troops have not approached the border since Russian troops entered Syria, saying that therefore the request was “exaggerated” and “superfluous.”

Israeli officials have repeatedly voiced concerns over the growing Iranian presence on its borders and the smuggling of sophisticated weaponry to Hezbollah from Tehran to Lebanon via Syria, stressing that both are red-lines for the Jewish State.

The Spanish government crackdown on Catalan separatists has intensified this week, with a judge jailing two of the movements leaders and the country’s constitutional court officially declaring the region’s Oct. 1 referendum to be illegal. However, after confusing the Spanish government with his independence (non) declaration, regional leader Carles Puigdemont is refusing to back down ahead of tomorrow's second, and final, Spanish ultimatum.
According to Reuters, Puigdemont told a meeting of his party on Wednesday he would formally declare independence Thursday morning if Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy follows through with his threat to invoke the so-called "nuclear option" of Article 155 of the Spanish Constitution, and suspend Catalonia’s regional autonomy - a decision that would likely lead to the arrest of Puigdemont and his government, followed by another violent crackdown on separatists.
Madrid has set a second and final deadline of 10 am local time Thursday for the Catalonian government to recant and officially revoke its symbolic declaration of independence, which Puigdemont suspended last week while hoping to negotiate with the Spanish government, Reuters reported.

The United Nations General Assembly on Monday elected 15 member states to the UN Human Rights Council for the 2018-2020 term, including such notorious human rights abusers as Qatar, Angola, Pakistan, Nigeria, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Member states considered eligible for membership on the Human Rights Council are theoretically supposed to be able to demonstrate their commitment to the highest standards of human rights and their full cooperation with all UN mechanisms, including the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), Special Procedures and treaty bodies and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. These countries fall woefully short of such standards.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said that the “election is yet another example of why the Human Rights Council (HRC) lacks credibility and must be reformed in order to be saved.” She added, “Countries that aggressively violate human rights at home should not be in a position to guard the human rights of others. We need a unified voice of moral clarity with backbone and integrity to call out abusive governments. This election has once again proven that the Human Rights Council, as presently constituted, is not that voice.”
As an example of a country that does not belong on a credible human rights body, yet ran unopposed for a seat on the UN Human Rights Council, Ambassador Haley pointed to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).  She described the DRC as “a country infamous for political suppression, violence against women and children, arbitrary arrest and detention, and unlawful killings and disappearances.”

George Soros Puts $18 Billion Into Transforming America To His Vision, U.S. Senate Judiciary Opens Probe Into Obama-Era Russian Nuclear Bribery Case

George Soros Puts $18 Billion Into Radically Transforming America

Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal’s Juliet Chung and Anupreeta Das detailed how Nazi collaborator and Far-Left billionaire George Soros has transferred some $18 billion – the bulk of his fortune – to his Open Society Foundations.

Chung and Das report that with this move Open Society has vaulted to the top ranks of philanthropic organizations, appearing to become the second largest in the U.S. by assets after the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, based on 2014 figures from the National Philanthropic Trust.

Conservatives should take particular note of the new structure reported by Chung and Das: Soros now shares influence over the firm’s strategy with an investment committee of Open Society. Mr. Soros set up the committee and is its chairman, but it is meant to survive him, people familiar with it said.

After the election, Open Society said it would spend $10 million to fight hate crimes, a problem Soros claimed without evidence, had been inflamed by the Trump campaign.

Soros put at least $12,460,121 into the Black Lives Matter movement and the shadowy radical Leftist network that funds it for one purpose and one purpose only – to destroy the “white” American core of capitalism, free markets, limited government and American traditional culture and values.

Soros has restructured his vast financial holdings and foundation so they will remain in the hands of the radical Left and continue to fund his plans to fundamentally transform America long after the now-87-year old Soros is dead. Their goal is, through violence and intimidation, to hijack the American political process, thwart the will of the American people and advance the policies of Barack Obama and the radical Left to fundamentally transform America.

The Senate Judiciary Committee has launched a probe into a Russian nuclear bribery case, demanding several federal agencies disclose whether they knew the FBI had uncovered the corruption before the Obama administration in 2010 approved a controversial uranium deal with Moscow.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), the committee chairman, on Wednesday raised the issue in public during questioning of Attorney General Jeff Sessions during an oversight hearing.

The senator cited a series of The Hill stories that showed the FBI had evidence that Russian nuclear officials were involved in a racketeering scheme as early as 2009, well before the uranium deal was approved.
"According to government documents and recent news reports, the Justice Department had an ongoing criminal investigation for bribery, extortion, money laundering, into officials for a Russian company making purchase of Uranium One," Grassley said. "That purchase was approved during previous administration and resulted in Russians owning 20 percent of America's uranium mining capacity.

"What are you doing to find out how Russian takeover of American uranium was allowed to occur despite criminal conduct by Russian company that the Obama administration approved to make the purchase?" he asked Sessions.

Senate Judiciary Committee has finally decided they’re going to take a look into a shady Russian deal that handed Putin 20% of America’s uranium reserves, was approved by the Obama administration during an ongoing FBI investigation into charges of bribery, extortion and money laundering by the Russian buyer and netted the Clintons millions of dollars in donations and ‘speaking fees.” Here’s more from The Hill:

The Senate Judiciary Committee has launched a full-scale probe into a Russian nuclear bribery case, demanding several federal agencies disclose whether they knew the FBI had uncovered the corruption before the Obama administration in 2010 approved a controversial uranium deal with Moscow.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), the committee chairman, gets his first chance to raise the issue in public on Wednesday when he questions Attorney General Jeff Sessions during an oversight hearing.

As we pointed out last summer when Peter Schweizer first released his feature documentary Clinton Cash, the Uranium One deal, as approved by the Obama Administration, netted the Clintons and their Clinton Foundation nearly $150 million in donations and ‘speaking fees’ from Uranium One shareholders and other Russian entities.

In this brand new story over at the Daily Mail they report that La Palma island in the Canary Islands had recently seen 352 earthquakes in a period of 10 days with hundreds of mini-quakes recorded on the seabed. Reporting within their story that the quakes have been so small that most residents of the island, also a popular tourist attraction, haven't even felt them, they also report that the last time the island saw a volcanic eruption was all the way back in 1971.

And while the Canary Islands seem to be a world away to most Americans, so why should they care about what's going on more than 3,000 miles away, those paying attention know that in a worst-case scenario, a volcanic eruption of Cumbre Vieja could nearly instantly send a crippling wall of water towards the US East coast and across the entire Atlantic ocean, moving at estimates of up to 500 miles per hour, as the 'mountain of fire' crumbles into the sea.

Ensuring that a tsunami would arrive in such metropolitan coastal areas as New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC and south to Atlanta and Miami, it's long been warned that a catastrophic failure of the Western flank of the volcano could send millions of tons of earth into the surrounding ocean.

This study over at Geo.Arizona.Edu calls the mere possibility of a huge chunk of Cumbre Vieja crashing into the sea a 'doomsday scenario' and as we see in this story, a 'doomsday scenario' that gives people on the East coast of the US very little time to prepare for.

Seismologists believe the US state is decades overdue a “Big One” tremor measuring magnitude 7 or greater on the Richter scale.
A massive fault line zone in the Bay Area of Southern California is thought to be most at risk with experts giving a 72% chance of a large tremor within the next 30 years.
Almost three decades ago, San Francisco’s Bay Area was devastated by a magnitude 6.9 earthquake that killed 67 and caused more than (£3.7billion) $5billion in damages.
Now a freak spate of deadly earthquakes that wreaked havoc in several regions throughout the Pacific has sparked fears California could be next.
In the past 30 days alone, California has been struck by 671 earthquakes, according to Earthquake Track.

usgs earthquake map

The most powerful quake, measuring 5.7 magnitude, struck Ferndale in southern California.
David Schwartz, geologist for US Geological Survey, said the most worrying fault line passes through the “most densely populated part of the Bay Area”.
More than 7.4 million people live near the Hayward Fault – one of many fault lines experts are concerned about.
“The Bay Area is positioned in the middle of the boundary zone of the North American plate and Pacific plate,” Schwartz said.
“The Bay Area has the highest density of faults per square mile in any urban centre.”

Everything about this case leads nowhere. Exactly as I suspect was intended from the outset.

We don't know why Paddock (or whoever) did this.
In fact, we don't know of any motive whatsoever, we have every circumstantial reason to suspect he did not, except for the fact that he was found dead in the room, with one bullet through his head.
We don't know the estimated time of his death.
We don't know how many rounds were fired.
We don't know how many expended brass shell casings were recovered from the suite and adjoining rooms.
We don't know how many shooters there were.
We don't know who came and went from his suite in the days and hours before the shooting, nor who might have left in the minutes after it.

And then there are the questions.

Why should any wealthy retiree decide to kill three-score strangers, just for the helluvit?

Where did Paddock's money actually come from? (You don't win millions at video poker. But it's a great way to launder millions playing video poker, while losing a token amount; call that a laundry service fee.)

Why would a guy with two planes, several houses, and no worries shoot hundreds of strangers?

Why not just crash a plane into them, and vastly increase the tally of dead, assuming you were going to do that at all?

Where did Paddock fly to and from, from the day he got his license to the day he died?
Where did he regularly disappear to in the years before his death?

Why is one of his planes now owned by a VA LLC whose profile screams "CIA cover company"?

Why is there a number of discrepancies between federal records and registrations for his aircraft, and that of a private site that notably simply mirrors federal records?

Who has the power to scrub flight plans, and fiddle registration numbers?

What trips, and where, did Paddock take to and from anywhere since, say, 9/11/2001, when federal records-keeping should have notably become more comprehensive?

Where did Paddock - if he did it - sight in his weapons and practice with them? (I'm good, but no one just wakes up one day and opens fire on a crowd at optimum sniping ranges and hits center of mass, at night, with cold shots, from never-fired weapons, on bump-fire. No fucking way.)

Where did Paddock learn to shoot? Not from family, military, or any other discernible sources, yet everything about the act, including the paper calculations found on the paper near the body, bespeaks of training and education in the gentle art of killing people with a sniper's meticulous precision that he shows no evidence of ever having received, save by osmosis from gun oil.

I could go on, as I have only a hundred more, because so far, every fact revealed about this case produces five necessary new questions for every one it answers.

A security guard with no guard papers.

A killer with no motive.

A sniper with no training.

"Mental illness" pulled out of the hat with much hand-waving, but only to explain the final 72 minutes of a case that demonstrates anything but that. (If you go there, you're a retarded jackhole building castles in the sky with cotton candy. Quote me.)
Dozens of weapons with no purpose.

A convenient alarm right by the suite, just before the attack. (Pull the other leg, it's got bells on it.)

An ear-witness, miraculously not killed by hundreds of rounds fired at him in a straight hallway at mere yards, who then disappears the minute scrutiny turns to him.
All potentially corroborating video and electronic evidence of the Official Narrative hoovered up (you should forgive the unintentional pun) immediately afterwards by the FBI, and unreleased two weeks later, conspicuous by its total absence, and which would shut down further speculation in three seconds if the narrative were anything close to the truth.

A sheriff who can't get the most basic facts of the case assembled coherently, despite two weeks and multiple attempts. (And with the Bureau's vulture sitting on his shoulder and looking shark-eyes at him for every word of every press conference since Hour One.)
A total official stonewall until all further information is squelched and pinched off.

This is all - everything we've been told to "just accept" - so much ---------.
Fifty eight people were killed, and 197 shot, in service of nothing whatsoever but a --------narrative, which serves nothing, so far, except the agenda to overturn the Second Amendment, and restrict the liberty of millions of people who didn't do it.

And, just saying, but isn't it miraculous how there were no mass shootings for pretty much the entire last administration - oh, except for some "workplace violence" at Ft. Hood - but totes coincidentally, both of the last two Republican admins get, respectively, 9/11, and now Vegas, both at the end of their first summer in office?
After being hamstrung in both cases by overweening, overwhelming, well-orchestrated astroturf campaigns and frothingly insane attempts to completely de-legitimize their elections?
I'm sure that doesn't mean anything, and it's all pure random chancey happenstance.

Move along. Nothing to see here.
