In non-democratic regimes, when leaders recognize that they have lost the support of their own people and are even seen as a corrupt enemy, they often seek conflict or war to create an enemy to distract the people from the real source of their problems.

Palestinian Authority and Fatah Party leader Mahmoud Abbas has lost the support of his people. A decisive 80% say his government is corrupt and a similar number want him to resign. Fatah faces almost certain defeat at the hands of Hamas if the PA were to hold elections. So, it’s not a surprise that Abbas wants to trigger a religious war against Jews and Israel.

On Sunday, Israel celebrated the anniversary of Jerusalem’s liberation in 1967 from almost 2,000 years of foreign occupation. For more than 30 years now, tens of thousands of Israelis march and dance through the city on Jerusalem Day as they wave Israeli flags. During the traditional Flag March, they enter the Old City through the Lion’s Gate and—in more recent times—the Damascus Gate, and finish at the Western Wall plaza to celebrate with music and dance.

Mahmoud Abbas sees this event as a great opportunity to incite violence and terror in the “name of Islam”—an opportunity that will serve his other goal: to distract the Palestinian people from his failed leadership.

Yesterday, Abbas’ Fatah posted a video from its Awdah TV on an official party Facebook page that showed Palestinian riots in Jerusalem. The video called on Palestinians to stop yesterday’s parade and prevent the Israeli flag from being waved in Jerusalem. Palestinians were told:

Defending Jerusalem is not [just] a normal duty, but rather a test of our religious and national conscience. Fatah calls on you to set out against the provocative Flag March, which will be held tomorrow in Jerusalem as part of the attempts by the occupation and its settlers to Judaize our eternal capital. Jerusalem is waiting for its guardians, so don’t be negligent and don’t let their flags wave in our sky.

The posted text had the same message:

The Fatah Movement calls on you to come out against the provocative [Jerusalem Day] Flag March, which will be held tomorrow, Sunday [May 29, 2022], in Jerusalem as part of the attempts by the occupation and its settlers to Judaize our eternal capital.

Abbas’ office released a similar statement, which called on Palestinians to “challenge” and “confront” Israel. The PA’s announcement further noted that their call for violence is very serious, and reminds Palestinians that last year’s Flag March triggered an 11-day war with Hamas:

The Presidency Wednesday night stated that Israeli occupation authorities underestimate the Palestinian people’s determination to challenge the occupation by insisting on allowing the annual “March of the Flags” in East Jerusalem.

Presidency spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh said … it is now the time for Jerusalem to become a beacon for all Palestinians and Arabs to confront these assaults [i.e., the Flag March] that are destabilizing the region. … He called on the Israeli government to refrain from such provocations that can only further inflame tensions, fueling more unrest and violence, with dire consequences, and held it fully responsible for this escalation that would lead to an explosion of the situation. …

Another Fatah Facebook post and video was also explicit in its call for violence in the name of Islam. The video exhorted Israelis to leave “because you have no history in our Jerusalem, and it is not your homeland.” It also called for “blood” and ended with the chant Allahu Akbar (“Allah is greatest”) repeated four times. The video included footage of Arab riots in Jerusalem.

Previously classified files obtained by the Brennan Center for Justice reveal that the 2004 George W. Bush administration conducted a holistic review of the president’s emergency powers, with the goal of modernizing a set of secret plans for continuity-of-government in a nuclear war.

The George W. Bush Presidential Library turned over 500 out of 6,000 pages of the documents, known as “presidential emergency action documents” (PEADs), which “shed troub­ling new light on the powers that modern pres­id­ents claim they possess in moments of crisis,” according to the Brennan Center, which obtained the records through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

PEADs were created during the Cold War, when the chance of a Soviet nuclear strike was at its peak. Early drafts reportedly rested on broad interpretations of executive powers. 

According to official reports from the 1960s, various PEADs authorized the president to enact measures such as suspending habeas corpus, to detain “dangerous persons” within the country, to censor news media, and to prevent international travel.

In light if 9/11, one Bush administration official viewed updating the PEADs an “urgent and compel­ling secur­ity effort, espe­cially in light of ongo­ing threats.”

While the Brennan Center was unable to obtain more recent PEADs, the documents show “some of the most disturbing aspects of early-Cold War emergency action documents” were maintained at least throughout 2008.

At least one of the docu­ments under review was designed to imple­ment the emer­gency author­it­ies contained in Section 706 of the Commu­nic­a­tions Act. During World War II, Congress gran­ted the pres­id­ent author­ity to shut down or seize control of “any facil­ity or station for wire commu­nic­a­tion” upon proclam­a­tion “that there exists a state or threat of war involving the United States.”

This fright­en­ingly expans­ive language was, at the time, hemmed in by Amer­ic­ans’ limited use of tele­phone calls and tele­grams. Today, however, a pres­id­ent will­ing to test the limits of his or her author­ity might inter­pret “wire commu­nic­a­tions” to encom­pass the inter­net — and there­fore claim a “kill switch” over vast swaths of elec­tronic commu­nic­a­tion.

And indeed, Bush admin­is­tra­tion offi­cials repeatedly high­lighted the stat­ute’s flex­ib­il­ity: it was “very broad,” as one offi­cial in the National Secur­ity Coun­cil scribbled, and it exten­ded “broader than common carri­ers in FCC [Federal Commu­nic­a­tions Commis­sion] juris[diction].”

Billionaire Bill Gates says there’s a 50 per cent chance the next pandemic will be caused by man-made climate change or be deliberately released by a bio-terrorist.

The Microsoft founder made the comments during an interview with Spanish news outlet El Diario.

Asserting that the next major pandemic is likely to occur within 20 years, Gates said, “It could be a virus made by man, by a bioterrorist who designed it and intentionally circulated it. That is a very scary scenario because they could try to spread it in different places at once.”

“Or it could be something that makes the leap from the natural world. The human population is growing and we are invading more and more ecosystems. That is why I calculate that there is a 50% chance that we will have a pandemic of natural origin in the next 20 years, as a consequence of climate change,” he added.

The prediction that climate change will cause a virus which will then require another global vaccine rollout is somewhat convenient for Gates given that he is heavily invested in both areas.

Gates reiterated the call made in his recent book to pump billions of dollars into researching future pathogens by creating a 3,000-strong team of specialists under the control of the World Health Organization, which would require a 25% budgetary increase.

Commenting on the recent outbreak of monkeypox, Gates said “there is very little chance” it will have an impact anything like coronavirus, although he cautioned that it could mutate into something significantly nastier.

Gates infamously warned of a coming super-virus five years before the emergence of COVID-19 during a 2015 TED talk.

As we highlighted earlier this month, Gates warned that COVID was not over and that there is likely to be an “even more fatal” variant of the virus coming.

During an event at the Munich Security Conference back in February,Gates said that “sadly” Omicron is a “type of vaccine” and has “done a better job getting out to the world population than we have with vaccines” by providing natural immunity.

Israel's former national security adviser warned on Monday that a recent spate of attacks on Iranian assets that were linked to Israel will only make Tehran more determined to harm Israeli targets in revenge.

Yaakov Amidror, a former major general and a current senior fellow at the conservative security think tank the Jerusalem Institute for Strategic Studies, told Ynet that Israel deviated from the rules of engagement it itself had set against its arch-nemesis Iran, citing the assassination of a senior Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) member and a blast at a sensitive military site in Parchin last week, which were both linked to Israel.

"We have worked very intensively in Syria and Iran in the past — according to foreign sources — from the assassination of the head of the nuclear program to the killing of a senior in the Islamic State, but this time around, we've seen a shift," he said.

"Now, the threat is also against senior 'rank-in-file' officers in the Revolutionary Guards, with a clear goal to exact a personal toll for their actions against Israel.

The Iranians were previously unable to carry out any high-level responses, so maybe they think they've got a score to settle. Maybe through airstrikes, an area in which the Iranians have failed too in the past when they tried reaching Israel with drones that were intercepted in one way or another. The question is how prepared we are for a potential Iranian response."

The hawkish erstwhile general also noted that the travel warning for Turkey issued by the National Security Council (NSC) indicated that Israel had concrete intelligence about an Iranian plot to harm Israelis in the country.

A week ago, Dr. Robert Malone wrote an article stating “what we do know” about monkeypox. Today he has published an update. 

“I almost cannot believe that I am writing this, but since my original Substack article on this topic, we had the reveal of an Event 201-style wargame exercise modelled around a bioterror-related release of an engineered monkeypox virus ‘caused by a terrorist attack using a pathogen engineered in a laboratory with inadequate biosafety and biosecurity provisions and weak oversight’,” he wrote today.

With amazing (coincidental?) prescience, the “tabletop exercise” of March 2021 (one year and three months into the Covid crisis) models a monkeypox bioterror attack initiated on May 15, 2022. Note the date of the CNN/Jake Tapper fear porn piece – May 20, 2022. The modelling deployed in the scenario upon which the “exercise” was based predicts 3.2 billion cases and 271 million deaths by December 01, 2023. Of course, the predictive accuracy of the simplistic public health models such as that used to support this scenario have repeatedly proven to be absolutely horrid, and these types of models should be either relegated to the trash heap (or ongoing dumpster fire) as unscientific speculation which is all too frequently weaponised by the fear porn peddlers such as CNN, MSNBC, NYT, Washington Post. By now we all know the usual USG and WEF-controlled media players.

As we now know, the amazing foresight of this modelled date immediately preceded a seminal WHO meeting which has just concluded, in which International Health Regulation (IHR) modifications which would grant the WHO unprecedented powers to bypass national constitutions (proposed on January 23, 2022, by the US HHS) were actively considered but tabled for a future meeting (~November 2022?) largely due to African nation concerns regarding infringement of national sovereignty. The stated purpose of the “exercise” was remarkably well aligned with the stated objectives and topics proposed by US HHS in the submitted IHR modifications:

In my prior Substack entitled “Monkey Pox, Truth versus Fearporn”, I concluded the essay with the following caveat:

Unless there has been some genetic alteration, either through evolution or intentional genetic manipulation, it is not a significant biothreat and has never been considered a high threat pathogen in the past.

Which brings us to this May 23, 2022 report from the Portuguese National Institute of Health.

Just to set the stage, the outbreak seems to be tightly associated with a point of origin at what appear to have been two large European dance party events (“Raves”), in the Canary Islands (“Gay Pride event in the Canary Islands, which drew some 80,000 people”) and “a Madrid sauna”. The Canary Islands event was the 20th anniversary of “Maspalomas Gay Pride”, which took place from May 05 to May 15 (the precise date of the previously modelled monkeypox bioweapon release). The organisers anticipated “a huge parade with over 100,000 participants, boat trips, pool parties and more!”. So, basically, pretty much a perfect opportunity for a monkeypox super spreader event, whether intentional or inadvertent. Donning my “cynical sceptic” tinfoil hat for a moment, if one was looking for an opportunity to seek a pathogen into a highly mobile international population, mindful of the early history of HIV-based AIDS, this would be just what the doctor (Mengle…) ordered.

Multiple cases were soon detected in Portugal, and to their great credit, INSA Portugal got busy and promptly did the deep sequencing necessary to enable building a phylogenic map of the monkeypox variant associated with the outbreak.

Based on their findings, they have rapidly disclosed both their data as well as a series of startling hypotheses regarding the origin of the currently circulating monkeypox (West African clade) monkeypox. Cutting to the chase, having reviewed their data and paper, I now have to conclude that one of the many “working hypotheses” concerning the origin of this particular virus must be that it is the product of laboratory-based manipulation – precisely as previously modelled. True story. Truth continues to be stranger than fiction.
