At the AK Party Extended Provincial Chairs Meeting, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan strongly condemned what he described as unlawful agreements involving Israel, Greece, and the Greek Cypriot Administration of Cyprus.
While stating that Turkey would not be drawn into provocations, Erdoğan stressed that it would never allow the rights of the people living in northern Cyprus to be “usurped”.
Referring to Israel’s actions in Gaza, he said that those “with the blood of more than 70,000 Palestinians on their hands” had no moral standing, in his opinion, and such remarks were meaningless in Turkey’s eyes.
Earlier The leaders of Israel, Cyprus and Greece on Monday (December 22) held a joint press conference in Jerusalem where they reiterated their commitment to cooperation in order to achieve stability in the region and beyond.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel had agreed to deepen security cooperation with Greece and Cyprus….
