Apple on Wednesday announced the launch of its digital ID, advertising it as a way to “present an ID in Apple Wallet.”
“Digital ID offers a secure and private way for users to create an ID in Apple Wallet using information from their U.S. passport, and present their ID with iPhone or Apple Watch,” Apple stated in a release.
“The launch follows the capability for users to add an eligible driver’s license and state ID to Apple Wallet. If users do not have a U.S. passport to create their Digital ID, they can still add an eligible driver’s license to Apple Wallet,” it continued.
“With the launch of Digital ID, we’re excited to expand the ways users can store and present their identity — all with the security and privacy built into iPhone and Apple Watch,” said Jennifer Bailey, Apple’s vice president of Apple Pay and Apple Wallet.
“Since introducing the ability to add a driver’s license or state ID to Apple Wallet in 2022, we’ve seen how much users love having their ID right on their devices. Digital IDs brings this secure and convenient option to even more users across the country, as they can now add an ID to Wallet using information from their U.S. passport,” Bailey added.
Many social media users said Apple’s Digital ID should be avoided at all costs.

Oh my! You think the Lord knows about this? I thought every thing being done is either by the Lord’s design or being allowed for His purposes. Not my will but His will be done. We are not to fear as the Lord is in control of everything. I think we get frustrated because WE forget who is exactly in control.
Who is in fear?
You are instilling fear of man instead of fear of the Lord. Not all of your readers are saved. To tell the unsaved through your articles that a digital ID is here or a vaccine is supposedly a depopulation jab is putting fear in man. Our trust is in the Lord no matter what happens. As born again believers, when we protest against the governing authorities, as the unsaved do, where is the testimony of Christ from the believer?
No one is instilling fear - thats your opinion - its called being a "watchman on the wall" and informing people of whats coming...It's a biblical mandate. Has nothing to do with fear, in fact quite the opposite. You are creating a straw man. Additionally, I don;t author the articles ,self. And there is nothing contradictory about informing people of whats coming and trusting in the Lord (thanks for the tip though) - those things are actually in concert because all of this reveals the nearness of the gathering up - which is what we are to look for when we see the signs. Wow you are are judgmental and incorrect.
