The peace process is on.
The world is abuzz with chatter about the repercussions of Donald J. Trump’s new peace plan for Ukraine.
One big development comes as the Russian side shows support the current push for peace.
Reuters reported:
“Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that U.S. proposals for peace in Ukraine could be the basis of a resolution of the conflict, but that if Kiev turned down the plan, then Russian forces would advance further.
[…] ‘I believe that it can be used as the basis for a final peaceful settlement’, Putin told senior officials at a meeting of the Russian Security Council.”
According to Putin, Kiev and its European allies don’t understand that Russian forces were rapidly advancing in Ukraine – and would continue to do so until there is peace.
“The U.S. administration has so far failed to secure the consent of the Ukrainian side. Ukraine is against it,” Putin said.
‘If Kyiv does not want to discuss President Trump’s proposal and refuses to do so, then both they and the European warmongers should understand that the events that took place in Kupiansk will inevitably be repeated in other key sectors of the front’, Putin said.”
The Trump team has stepped up pressure yesterday on Ukraine to quickly agree to a deal with Russia.
Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky, in a televised address, warned that Ukraine is approaching ‘one of the most difficult moments’ in its history.
“U.S. President Donald Trump gave Kyiv a deadline of Thanksgiving Day — next Thursday — to agree to his brokered peace deal, which would hand a significant amount of Ukrainian territory to Russia even though Moscow hasn’t yet captured it during nearly four years of its full-scale invasion.
“I’ve had a lot of deadlines, but if things are working well, you tend to extend the deadlines,” Trump said during an interview with Fox News radio on Friday. “But Thursday, we think is an appropriate time.”
‘They will expect an answer from us’, Zelensky said about the peace proposal. ‘Although in fact I have already given it’, he added, citing the oath he took when he entered office in 2019 to defend Ukraine’s sovereignty.”
Meanwhile, The Globalists across the pond are in a panic, trying to find ways to derail yet another peace initiative.
Sky News reported:
“European countries are now working up proposals to put to President Trump ahead of his deadline of Thursday to agree a deal.
