Belarus has taken a move that will cause chain reactions within NATO. Minsk is changing its military doctrine which now foresees the use of (Russian) nuclear weapons against Poland!

The new provisions of the military doctrine are expected to be presented for approval by the People's Assembly of Belarus, a representative body that operates alongside the Parliament.

According to the Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, Alexander Volfovich, the deployment of Russian nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus is aimed at preventing aggression from NATO member Poland.

"Unfortunately, the statements of our neighbors, especially Poland ... have forced us to strengthen military doctrine, " Volfovich argued.

Belarus' new military doctrine considers the country's development of nuclear weapons as a mandatory strategic deterrence measure, the TASS news agency reported today, citing the country's Defense Ministry.

TASS reported that the new strategic doctrine also describes the actions of the Belarusian military in the event of an armed attack against Minsk's allies in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which includes many former Soviet republics or the Russian Federation of Belarus.
