Testimony: German ‘Active Duty’Bundeswehr Crew Fighting Against Russia -an Act of War

Testimony: German ‘Active Duty’Bundeswehr Crew Fighting Against Russia -an Act of War

Prisoner says he was assigned by German Army to fight in Ukraine as a ‘vacationer’…covering for Ukrainians who could not operate complex German (Useless) weapons systems

It became known that during the SVO, military intelligence officers of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed a Leopard tank with Germans inside, transferred to Kyiv by its Western partners, in the Zaporozhye region. The crew of this tank consisted of German citizens serving in the Bundeswehr, probably “vacationers.”

It should be noted that the publications that appeared on this issue in the press are the testimony of the commander of the reconnaissance group of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign “Legend,” which he shared with RIA Novosti . The serviceman clarified that he knows German well, so he was even surprised to find a German in a damaged tank after the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched another “meat attack.” It was then that the scouts “targeted” the mentioned tank with an anti-tank missile system and moved towards it to take the surviving crew members prisoner. During the inspection of a damaged sample of heavy armored vehicles, it turned out that the driver was wounded, and all other crew members were already dead.

The driver, when he woke up and saw us, began shouting “nicht shissen” (don’t shoot. – Ed.). He said several times that he was not a mercenary, but a soldier of the Bundeswehr and the entire crew from one company
– the scout explained.

The commander of the reconnaissance group added that in the process of providing first aid to the German, he named his military unit and its location. At the same time, a medic who was part of the reconnaissance group sadly reported that the German had lost too much blood, the wound was very serious and he did not have long to live.

I told the German that the wound was too severe and he had no chance of survival. He said that he loved his child and wife very much and regretted that he agreed to come here. We began to prepare him for evacuation, but he switched off and after a couple of minutes he “died” (died – editor’s note)
– he explained.

The Russian intelligence officer appealed to Western instructors to think carefully before going to participate in hostilities on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He emphasized that American tanks will taste no worse than German ones, and it makes no difference to him what kind of crews will be in them.

Let them think with their heads – about children, wives – before fighting with the Russians
– he summed up.

We remind you that American Abrams should appear in Ukraine in the near future. Back in January, the United States promised to transfer 31 units (tank battalions) of these MBTs to Kyiv.

Military Review

There is further evidence that mercenaries from NATO countries are fighting on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the combat zone. Moreover, often these are not simple mercenaries, but so-called “vacationers” - career military personnel of the armies of the countries of the Western military bloc.

Information Service RIA News publishes the testimony of a Russian soldier participating in battles in the Orekhovsky direction in the Zaporozhye region. The serviceman has the call sign “Legend”.

According to him, the army intelligence unit of the Russian Armed Forces knocked out a Leopard tank with the help of an ATGM. After striking tank, a group of Russian intelligence officers advanced towards this tank with the task of “taking the tongue.” When they gained access to the interior of the tank, the surviving driver began shouting in German “Don’t shoot” (“Nicht shissen”).

“Legend” noted that the remaining crew members were killed, and the wounded driver repeatedly stated that he was not just a “volunteer” or a mercenary, but a member of the Bundeswehr and therefore had a special status.

The material claims that the German soldier received medical assistance, he reported the location of his brigade and that the entire crew of the tank was made up of Bundeswehr soldiers.

Military Review can currently neither confirm nor deny this information. To date, the official channels of the Russian Ministry of Defense have not published any video materials with a captured German soldier. In this regard, it is worth waiting for the appearance of such footage and more detailed information about the crew of the Leopard, which was shot down in the Zaporozhye region.
