A. Lukashenko emphasized that his country offered Wagner one of its abandoned military bases.
According to Lukashenko, Belarus will help the Wagnerites, but they will be on its territory at their own expense. Lukashenko also denied reports that PMC fighters would guard Russian tactical nuclear weapons located in Belarus.
"The responsibility for managing nuclear weapons in Belarus rests with the Russian Army. We do not have such experience," Lukashenko emphasized

Lukashenko also stressed that his defense minister, Viktor Krenikov, had told him that he would not mind having a unit like Wagner in the Belarusian army.
At the same time, he revealed that Moscow, on Putin's orders, has already handed over a large part of the nuclear weapons it was supposed to install on Belarusian soil.
Stoltenberg: Order for "combat mission" in the Baltic
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Brussels will review the mandate to protect the airspace of the Baltic states. This will probably also apply to Eastern Europe.
"It will change from air policing to combat, " the head of the alliance said during a speech in Vilnius.
"We will strengthen our land, sea and air forces. The mandate given to the air forces of the member states will be reviewed and changed from air policing to combat,"Stoltenberg emphasized.
