Hazem Qassem, the spokesman for Hamas the terrorist organization, warned on Wednesday of the consequences of Israel’s elimination of a terrorist cell in Jenin using a military aircraft, the first time in 20 years that an attack aircraft has been deployed in Judea and Samaria.
The Hamas spokesman called the three terrorists who were killed in the strike "heroes who fell in Jenin in a heartbreaking operation carried out as part of the open war against the Palestinian people, their country and their holy places."
He called the act of elimination of the terrorists a "dangerous escalation and Zionist terrorism against our people."
Qassem stated that Israel failed to deal with the fighters on the ground, and therefore it resorted to aerial elimination operations. “The occupation is in a big entanglement with the fighters in the West Bank, so it is trying to please its public at the expense of Palestinian blood," he claimed.
The Hamas spokesperson warned that "the crimes of the occupation will not pass without an appropriate response by the Palestinian resistance organizations."
