There is great concern in NATO's Southeast Wing and the Baltic countries about the deployment of thousands of Wagner elite soldiers to Belarus. For the first time, Poles and Lithuanians are talking about a nightmare scenario that could blow up the Baltic.

The two countries fear that Wagner's mission to Belarus may not be related to Ukraine but to the Suwalki Corridor that connects Belarus to the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad that has been blockaded by the Lithuanians for a year under the pretext of EU sanctions .

The same sources state that for this reason the mandate to protect the airspace of the Baltic countries was changed from air policing to a combat mission while an additional Brigade will be sent to Lithuania!

Lithuania and Poland for about a year developed a plan for the joint defense of the "Suwalki Corridor" - a strategically important section of the Lithuanian-Polish border 64 km long, located between Belarus and Russia's Kaliningrad region.

NATO fears that this corridor can be relatively easily blocked by Wagner's elite forces with the consequence that Lithuania will lose the land corridor and be completely cut off from the rest of Europe along with Latvia and Estonia.

NATO is worried for one more reason: Wagner's forces have found ready-made armaments in Belarus, dozens of tanks, armored, anti-aircraft, Iskander. This is the armament that the Russians had left at Christmas during the aid mission to Belarus. The Russian soldiers left, the armament remained.

For this reason, Lithuania and Poland are deploying ground forces to delay Russian troops in the Suwalki Corridor until the approach of Allied forces.

Meanwhile, in an important development, the lower house of the Belarusian parliament approved a bill to ratify an intergovernmental agreement with Russia on the establishment of centers for joint training of military personnel.

And the question is why now, why after the arrival of Wagner's forces? It is clear that there will be military involvement.

According to the draft law, two educational centers should appear on the territory of Belarus and one in Russia.

Minister of Defense of Belarus Viktor Krenin explained that the main tasks of the centers are the unification of military training of the armies of the two countries, the exchange of experience in the use of weapons and special equipment.

Krenin added that the training of personnel at these centers will take place on the territory of active military units. Whether the ratification of this agreement is connected with the expected imminent appearance of Wagner PMC on the territory of the republic, the Belarusian minister did not specify.

And this is more troubling.

Earlier, Belarusian sources reported that in Osipovichi, Mogilev region, the construction of the Wagner PMC camp is starting. The area of the camp, designed for 8 thousand people, will be about 24 thousand square meters. Its distance from the border with Ukraine is about 200 km, Chernihiv is located 270 km from the site of the facility. Some sources mention the construction of other camps for "Wagnerites" on the territory of Belarus, one of which is located near the border with Poland.

The President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko, in turn, said that the fighters of the Wagner group have valuable experience in military operations, which should be adopted by the army of Belarus.

Poland and Lithuania are strengthening their military forces on the border with Belarus.

Morawiecki stressed that "We need urgent measures to improve border security. We believe that Putin and Lukashenko can act very strangely and unpredictably.

At the same time, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda also announced measures to strengthen border security with Belarus.

Poland's Deputy Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski said the government has approved increased security on the country's border with Belarus due to the relocation of the Russian Wagner group.
