MSM Silent After Revelations Of Google Election Meddling

MSM Silent After Google Election Meddling Bombshell; Video Scrubbed From YouTube

In an otherwise slow news-cycle, the mainstream media has somehow failed to report on an undercover exposé by Project Veritas in which a senior Google employee admits that the company is manipulating its algorithms ahead of the 2020 election in order to prevent the "next Trump situation."

"We all got screwed over in 2016, again it wasn’t just us, it was, the people got screwed over, the news media got screwed over, like, everybody got screwed over so we’re rapidly been like, what happened there and how do we prevent it from happening again," said longtime Google employee and head of "Responsible Innovation," Jen Gennai, in the undercover Veritas sting
"We’re also training our algorithms, like, if 2016 happened again, would we have, would the outcome be different?" she added.

As noted by Infowars' Jamie White, "CNN, WaPo, CNBC, HuffPost, The New York Times, Vox, Vice, Newsweek, Politico, and even The Daily Beast haven’t written a single piece on the devastating evidence."
Meanwhile, YouTube parent Google has scrubbed the video from its video sharing platform (also ignored by the MSM).
Indeed, the Project Veritas video we embedded on Monday is no longer available.

In a Medium blog post, Gennai claims that the Veritas video was "selectively edited and spliced" to "distort my words and the actions of my employer." She says she was talking about foreign election interference - which would be strange, since the Department of Justice said had zero effect on the outcome of the 2016 election.
And now that we have both sides of the story, where is the MSM coverage?

"We all got screwed over in 2016, again it wasn't just us, it was, the people got screwed over, the news media got screwed over, like, everybody got screwed over so we're rapidly been like, what happened there and how do we prevent it from happening again."
That's a direct quote – attributed to Google's head of "Responsible Innovation," Jen Gennai – in an undercover video (below) released Monday morning by Project Veritas. It also includes this statement from Gennai:
"Elizabeth Warren is saying we should break up Google. And like, I love her but she's very misguided, like that will not make it better it will make it worse, because all these smaller companies who don't have the same resources that we do will be charged with preventing the next Trump situation, it's like a small company cannot do that."
Along with the video are some leaked documents that appear to show that Google makes news decisions about what news they promote and distribute on their site. In fact, in the video sting Gennai explains that "conservative sources" and "credible sources" don't always coincide according to Google's editorial practices.
The insider who came to Project Veritas with the information says Google targets and suppresses what it labels as "right-wing" content, such as that distributed by PragerU and political commentator and talk-show host Dave Rubin.
"They're playing narrative control," the whistleblower says on the video. "What's scary is that Google is deciding what's important and what's not important. They are going through and they are effectively deleting conversations from the national narrative …. They're deciding what gets read, what gets consumed, what people are able to click on."
He added that it reminds him of George Orwell's book 1984. "People have no idea that [this] is happening," he states toward the end of the video. "They still think that Google is an objective source of information – and it's not."
In an interview with OneNewsNow, Veritas founder James O'Keefe described one example of how Google is using what it calls "product intervention" to try and sway the 2020 elections.
"Just the lack of an 'autocomplete' can have an impact on an election," he stated. "If you're searching for information and they won't autocomplete certain things, that's big."
